Epilogue part 1

During the next few days, Hephaestus and the Titans had been moving around from one Greek city to another, seeing how they could help to repair the buildings that had been destroyed during the battle of Olympus. Sylvia, Pandora, Sophie and Aphrodite helped out to take care of the survivors, so they could have a chance to start over after everything that the survivors had lost.

As the world's population had been greatly reduced because of both the big flood and the plague, Aphrodite used her magic to increase the fertility and speed up the pregnancy among the survivors, so they will have lots of children in the future for the next few generations. Pandora helped her mother with this and thanks to her strong connection to the Flame of Olympus, Aphrodite's love magic was increased 10 times.

After spending 2 days in Sparta, the group had made it to Athens. While the Titans and Hephaestus were fixing the many homes and walls of the city, Sylvia and Sophie were taking care of the wounded, while Aphrodite and Pandora were together with a young couple.

With her teary eyes, Pandora looked at Sylvia, who gave a nod to look where she saw someone. Pandora slowly turned, seeing the man behind her. Her eyes went wide as she saw who it was. It was Epimetheus.

He slowly walked over to her. "Pandora...?"

Seeing no one objected to the marriages, Gaia gave a nod and went on as she first asked Epimetheus. "Epimetheus. Epimetheus had been staying home more often, to be sure to be around his wife when the delivery would begin. He sat next to her and put her feet on his lap and began to massage it, which relieved Pandora of some of her pain.

"Aaaaaaah. Thank you, my love... I really needed that."

At that moment, Aphrodite came into the house and walked over to her daughter and son-in-law. "Hi. We're preparing a big dinner for everyone in Calliope and Alecto's place. You guys wanna join us?"

Epimetheus and Pandora shared a short glance, with the both of them nodding "Yeah. We'll be coming soon." Pandora said as she tried to stand up, with some help from Epimetheus. She breathed out deep again while holding her big belly.

Aphrodite came up to her and said while putting her hand on her shoulder. "Sweetheart, if you can't, I can just bring you something while you can rest."

Pandora however shook her head. "No, it's fine, mother. (sigh) I really need to get out of the house after not going outside for a month."

Aphrodite nodded and helped Pandora too as they walked all together to Alecto and Calliope's house. When they arrived after 10 minutes, Pandora immediately sat down on a chair, sighing deep while rubbing her belly.

Calliope, Aphrodite and Epimetheus kept checking on her if everything was alright and if she wanted to lie down, but Pandora always ensured everyone that she was okay.

While Calliope was serving tonight's dinner, Sophie and 9 month pregnant Sylvia came in too. "Hey." Sylvia said to everyone. Before she sat next to Pandora and both sisters shared a hug.

"Hey, sis. Guess you too didn't want to stay in your house?" Pandora asked.

Sylvia gave a nod. "Yeah. I felt like going crazy for staying at the house for so long, barely doing anything."

"Same here. But, we're lucky to have our husband, wife and our family to help around."

Sylvia nodded in agreement. She then wandered and asked Pandora. "When is your father coming home?"

Pandora gave a shrug. "Daddy won't be back until a few days. He's really busy with the Titans to help and rebuild the cities around the world."

Sophie then sat next to Sylvia, with both sharing a passionate kiss and held her hand on her wife's belly, feeling their baby moving inside.

Family dinner went as usual, with all talking while they ate and even sharing some laughs.

Calliope then wondered and asked Pandora and Epimetheus. "So, you already thought of a name for your daughter?"

Pandora smiled as she looked down her belly and rubbed it. "Yeah, me and Epimetheus have a very beautiful name for her." But after feeling some pain on her but, she asked Epimetheus. "Honey, could you please get a pillow for me?"

"Sure, Pandora." Epimetheus said before standing up and got a pillow from Calliope and Alecto's couch.

As Pandora slowly raised herself to allow Epimetheus to place the pillow on her chair, Pandora suddenly felt a contraction! "AAAAAH!" Pandora held her belly and nearly fell on her knees but was caught just in time by her husband, while everyone on the table looked in shock.

"Pandora?! What is it?" Epimetheus asked.

"The... the baby...!" Pandora answered, feeling that she was about to go into labor.

Aphrodite instantly recognized it and helped her while telling everyone what to do. "Calliope, towels! Alecto, fresh warm water! Sophie, get the stuff for delivering from Pandora's house!"

Sophie nodded and ran out of the house. "Right!"

Epimetheus however suggested while everyone was gathering the things needed for Pandora's delivery. "Are... are you sure? Shouldn't she go home?"

Aphrodite shook her head while helping Pandora upstairs to Calliope and Alecto's bedroom. "No, she won't be able to. It's best we do it here."

Calliope nodded as she took lots of towels from the closet "I agree."

Sylvia tried to stand up, despite her big belly. "Please, Pandora needs me!"

Sophie disagreed as Sylvia couldn't do it in her current condition "No, no, no, baby! You're heavily pregnant too."

"I don't care! She's my sister! She needs me."

Sophie nodded, as arguing wouldn't help right now and helped Sylvia to go upstairs to be at Pandora's side. Epimetheus joined them, wanting to be at his wife's side the entire time.

An hour had passed and everything needed for Pandora's labor was placed inside Calliope and Alecto's bedroom.

Pandora lied on the bed, doing her breathing control that she'd practiced with her mother. But then felt a more powerful contraction while holding both Sylvia and Epimetheus' hands. "AAAAAAAAAAAH! It hurts...! It hurts so bad!" She said while tears fell from her eyes.

"Just keep breathing, Pandora." Sylvia said while Epimetheus stroke her hand.

Aphrodite came in to check on her. She then looked at her daughter and stroke her head. "It's almost time. You're doing fine, sweetheart."

Calliope then came in with a new fresh bucket of warm water. "Here, I think this should be enough." and poured the warm water in a larger bucket for the baby to be washed.

Sylvia tried to stand up and asked her mother. "Can I... help?"

Calliope shook her head as she held her daughter. "Pandora needs you now more than ever. That's more than enough help you can give."

Sylvia nodded. "O... okay-" But then suddenly, Sylvia felt a big contraction herself and fell on her knees. "AAAAAAAAH!"

Everyone looked shocked while Calliope sat down and helped her daughter, but not before Sylvia felt her water broke and flowed down her vagina.

The warrior princess gasped in shock. "Oh...! My water just broke!"

Calliope couldn't believe that her daughter was about into labor too. "Wait, you're baby is coming too!?"

Sylvia nodded before another stronger contraction came. "Yeah- AAAAAAH!"

"Sylvia?!" Pandora looked with horror before having another contraction herself. "AAAAAAH!"

Calliope quickly carried her daughter and placed her next to Pandora who shoved a bit to make some space. Both sisters held hand tight, with them both nodding to each other.

Having now two women going into labor, everyone gathered all there was needed for their deliveries, with both Sylvia and Pandora yelling in pain 'cause of the increasing contractions.

Sophie was there at Sylvia's side and cleaned some sweat from her wife's forehead. Sophie shook her head. "Why do you two have to share everything, even when you are going into labor?!"

Sylvia shook her head "I... I don't know. I can't help it oka- AAAAAAAH!" Before she yelled before doing her breathing exercise.

Pandora cried because of the pain, feeling she was going to give birth to her daughter any moment "AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Aphrodite was there the whole time, supporting her daughter "You're doing great, Pandora, you're almost ready."

Pandora nodded while glancing to her husband who held her hand and softly spoke "You can do it, my love. I know you can."

Then, Pandora felt she had to push "GGGGAAAAAAAAH!"

Aphrodite nodded as she looked down at Pandora "That's it, Pandora! Keep pushing!"

Sylvia nodded while feeling a big contraction "Yes- AAAAAAAAAH! You can... do it, sis."

Pandora kept breathing and pushed from time to time "AAAAAAAAAAAH!"

After some minutes, Aphrodite nodded as she held the baby's head, sticking out of Pandora. "The head is out, sweetheart! Just one final push, you can do it!"

Pandora breathed heavily before giving the final push. "GGGGGRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" And then... the pain was gone and heard her baby girl began crying out loud. Pandora glanced at her sister, who nodded while feeling she had to start to push. Pandora then glanced at her mother, holding her baby daughter in her arms while cleaning her.

With tears in her eyes, Aphrodite said with a smile "You were right, Pandora. It's a girl."

Pandora and Epimetheus were both happy and both shared a kiss.

But while Aphrodite cleaned her baby granddaughter and cut the umbilical cord, Calliope helped her own daughter and said. "Okay, now push, Sylvia. Push!"

"AAAAAAAGH!" Sylvia yelled, but the push wasn't strong enough.

After cleaning her baby granddaughter, she handed her over to Pandora and held her close while crying out of happiness. "Hey there. Hi, my little Pyrrha." Pandora softly said, naming her baby daughter Pyrrha and kissed her forehead.

While Epimetheus took his daughter in his arms, he told Pandora. "You did great, my love. We have a daugther."

Pandora nodded, but then returned her focus on Sylvia, who was about to give birth to her own child. Epimetheus nodded and sat somewhere else with his baby daughter in his arms.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Sylvia yelled out loud, giving a big push.

"I can see the head, Sylvia! You're almost there!" Calliope said.

"You can do it, Sylvia." Sophie said while holding her hand. Pandora softly stroke Sylvia's other hand, making Sylvia to nod and gave several more pushes.

Then, after some more minutes, Sylvia gave her final push. "NNNNGHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" and her baby was born, hearing it crying.

Calliope looked with happiness as she held the baby in her arms and cleaned it. She then smiled bright when she saw it was a boy "Oh, Sylvia! It's a boy. A boy! You and Sophie have a son."

Sophie was really happy. "You heard that, baby? We have a son."

Sylvia nodded while smiling as some tears fell from her eyes. "Oh, Sophie... a son... a beautiful son."

Pandora smiled and told her sister as she saw his baby nephew's eyes. "He's beautiful sis... he's so..." But then, Pandora's sight began to become blurry. "He's so... so..." And then she passed out.

Shocked, Epimetheus ran over to her. "Pandora? Pandora!?" Horrified, he looked at the other. "What's wrong with her!? Pandora!"

"Pandora...?!" Sylvia said as she was horrified that something was wrong with her sister.

Aphrodite checked on her quickly and said with a horrified face. "By the gods... she's gone into a shock! Get Sylvia and babies out of here, move!"

While Sophie carried Sylvia, Calliope carried her baby grandson and baby niece she took from Epimetheus, while he remained at Pandora's side, trying to wake her up. "Pandora! Pandora, wake up! PANDORA!"

But inside her head, Pandora was having another vision. Showing something... terrible.

Pandora's vision

Pandora found herself back on Olympus, at the very moment where Calliope refused to give the powers of hope to Athena.

Breathing very deep from her nostrils, Calliope looked at Athena, finally saying "My vengeance... our vengeance... Ends now." Before Calliope had made her final decision, charged the Blade and raised it.

"Calliope no!" Athena begged, now seeing that the Ghost of Sparta would kill her again.

And with a swift strike, Calliope slashed through Athena's chest, making her yell in agony as the very energy that kept her spirit together broke free. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Athena fell on her knees as her spirit began to dissolve, till there was nothing left of her. Athena, the former Goddess of Wisdom was now truly gone.

Pandora watched with surprise as this was not how it had happened.

Calliope then looked over the destroyed landscape and raised the Blade of Olympus into the air, sending a powerful energy beam of the power of hope into the sky. Then, the dead spirits went back to the Underworld. The Oceans receded. The plague was gone. The storms calmed down and the morning sun shone over the world.

Calliope was joined by her family, with Alecto sharing a passionate kiss with her lover.

Then, Pandora's surroundings began to change. The palace on Olympus was now fully restored and even... made more beautiful. Pandora was confused as she looked around. "Wha... what is all this?"

Suddenly, Pandora was taken into a different section of the newly rebuilt palace of the gods. She was shown Zeus' throne room. But there was something different. On the other thrones surrounding Zeus' and a new one next to it. Pandora saw herself, wearing a godlike outfit. Next to her other self, she saw her husband Epimetheus, also in godhood clothes. And on the other thrones, Aphrodite, Sophie, Sylvia. And finally, on the big throne... she saw Calliope, holding the Blade of Olympus next to her Alecto. Both Lady Death and the former Queen of the Furies looked different, like they were queens.

Pandora looked in shock, she began to understand now that in this vision, she saw what Calliope would have done if she had kept the powers of hope and had become the new Queen of Olympus, ruling together with Alecto and her family as the new gods of the world.

Then, Pandora was taken to a large bedroom chamber, which were probably Sylvia's and Sophie's. She saw her sister giving birth to her son. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Sylvia screamed as she gave the final push.

A servant held up the crying newly born baby boy and called. "Lady Sylvia, it's a boy."

Sophie and Sylvia were both very happy and shared a kiss while the servant gave their new born son to Sylvia. Sophie then asked her wife. "What should we name him?"

Sylvia smiled as she looked at her son and gave him his name. "Evan."

Pandora then saw the baby boy, named Evan, his entire youth, playing alongside her daughter Pyrrha and many of her children. Evan was even playing with his little brother and two little sisters.

Pandora watched Evan grow up to be a fine young man, becoming an honorable god alongside his siblings.

Then, she was taken back to the throne room, watching Evan sitting on 1 knee before his grandmother Calliope, sitting on her throne. She then stood up and raised the blade of Olympus, knighting Evan. "Evan, son of Sylvia, I hereby bestow you the title of... God of War."

Evan looked up with a smile, feeling proud of finally being made a true god, with her mothers being so proud of their son.

Many years then passed and Pandora watched as Evan, along with his siblings who were also made new gods, ruled over the mortal world justly, but also harsh when the time came. What seemed like centuries that passed, Pandora's children and Evan alongside his siblings remained their youth thanks to their immortality.

But then... Pandora saw Evan fighting an evil monster in a cave, down into the Caves of Olympus. But there was something else. Where the beast was taking shelter, he was keeping someone imprisoned behind some large rocks. It looked like it was a woman with long red hair.

"Foul beast! You dare to stand against the god of war!?" Evan roared as he jumped high in the beast and sliced his throat, killing it.

As the beast's body fell dead on the ground, Evan saw the women trapped. She called for help as she reached out her arm from the pile of large rocks. "Please... help me!"

Evan came and removed the large rocks one by one, using his superhuman strength. When Evan threw away the last rock, he gazed at the women. He was surprised to see that it was the former goddess of dawn, Eos.

The former goddess and the new god of war looked into each other's eyes, as if it was... love at first sight. Eos then embraced Evan. "Thank you... you saved my life."

"It was nothing." Evan answered before he held her shoulders and asked her. "You... must be Eos, right? The former goddess of the dawn?"

Eos nodded. "Yes, I am." Then she gasped as she recognized Evan's face and took a few steps back. "You must be... the new god of war. You're... Sylvia's son, Evan."

Evan nodded. "I am. But, what are you doing here? I thought all the other gods before us were dead?"

Eos sighed sadly before telling. "After the fall of Zeus, I was trapped in these caves. Wanting to wipe the slate clean, she saw me and the other former gods as a threat to her rule on Olympus. She and Alecto hunted down the last of the surviving gods around the world and slayed them. When she found me, I pleaded with them to have mercy on me. Calliope took pity on me. So, instead of killing me, she locked me here away, with the beast you slaughtered guarding me for all eternity."

Evan became angry, not believing that his own grandmother would do this to the other gods. "Damn her! How could she do this!? Calliope has always been an honorable goddess! She lied to me and my siblings!"

Eos held her hand on Evan's cheek, making him look at her. "Please, calm down, Evan."

By only looking into her eyes, calmed him down easily as if his heart melted by only looking at her gaze.

Eos blushed very deeply, never having felt this feeling before.

Evan cleared his throat before looking away. "I... uhm... should be heading back. Everyone on Olympus would wander where the god of war is taking so long."

Eos nodded and looked away too. "Yes... yes, you should."

But before he left, Evan asked Eos as he looked back at her. "Can I see you again?"

Eos was surprised that the new god of war wanted to see her again. She glanced at him, looking at his body and then into his eyes, making her blush and look away. "Uhm... I don't know... what if someone finds out that you spend time with a former goddess?"

Evan formed a small smile as he walked up to her, softly making her turn, looking at his face. "They don't have to know. We can keep it a secret. If you want?"

After thinking for a minute, she smiled and gave a nod. Then, they moved their faces closer to each other and the two shared a kiss.

Pandora blinked her eyes of what she saw. 'Evan would've... fallen in love with Eos?' She mentally asked herself.

Her surroundings then changed again, showing the many times Evan visited Eos in secret, with them confessing their feelings to another. Finally, Pandora saw Evan having passionate sex with Eos many times.

But then, Pandora shockingly saw Calliope finding out about the affair. Infuriated, Calliope sentenced her grandson into imprisonment, accusing her son for high treason, making Evan's hatred for Calliope begin to grow as time passed during his capture.

Pandora then saw Eos again, seeing she was 4 months pregnant. She was crying, believing she would never see Evan again. Then, Pandora saw Eos leaving the caves, climbing high on Mount Olympus and standing on the edge.

Eos' tears fell from her cheeks, fearing what would happen to her and her child, she couldn't bear to know what would happen. She closed her eyes as she held her hands on her belly.

Pandora saw in shock as Eos took a step further, being inches away from falling into her death. She then heard Evan's brother running over to her, begging Eos not to jump.

But his plea fell into deaf ears as Eos softly spoke. "I love you... Evan." And then let herself fall down the cliff, taking her own life and that of her unborn child.

Pandora gasped in horror as she held her hands on her mouth. Evan's brother looked down the cliff with horror, not believing that Eos would take her own life.

When news reached him of Eos' death, believing that his grandmother killed her, Evan's fury exploded! With his increased strength thanks to his Spartan Rage, Evan broke his chains and roared with anger. "AAAAAAAAAAARGH! CALLIOPEEEEEE!"

Evan then swore revenge, vowing to kill Calliope for what she'd done to him and Eos.

Pandora was shocked to see how Evan was so broken and vengeful to kill Calliope.

More images were shown, with Evan killing many of his enemies, all to finally avenge the love of his life.

Evan even used an ancient power, never seen in thousands of years, to create new Titans, all loyal to him and launched a full assault on Olympus. Some of his siblings, including his brother, joined Evan in their rebellion against the Ghost of Sparta, now called the Ghost of Olympus.

Calliope, Alecto, Goddess Pandora, Epimetheus, Sylvia and Sophie, along with some of their children who were still loyal to Calliope, watched with horror as Evan's army of newly created Titans climbed on Mount Olympus.

"CALLIOPE!" Evan yelled with pure hate and anger. "Your grandson has returned! I BRING THE DESTRUCTION OF OLYMPUS!"

Pandora looked in shock and horror as Evan and his followers slaughtered everyone on Olympus, killing the gods one by one. The same plagues that once haunted the world during the Battle for Olympus, all started again, sending chaos and destruction to the mortal world. Pandora fell on her knees, crying as she saw the bodies of her goddess self, Sylvia, Sophie, her husband Epimetheus and many of their daughters, all dead on the ground. "NOOOOOO!"

Then finally, she saw Evan fighting both Calliope and Alecto, using all their power to kill each other finally. Then, Evan sliced Alecto in half, killing the former Queen of the Furies.

Calliope was now more angry than ever, and charged at Evan with all her might. But Evan proved to be stronger and took the Blade of Olympus from Calliope and stabbed her to death, absorbing the powers of hope.

When Calliope fell dead, Evan roared in victory, followed by his followers who cheered for their leader. Evan then raised the blade and sent the same energy beam into the sky, stopping the plagues as he now sat on the throne of Zeus as the new king of Olympus. "Eos... finally... you have been avenged."

Pandora shook her head, not believing that the cycle of child killing parent would just repeat itself all over again. She then saw Evan's own son rising against him and killed Evan, and with his son rising against him and it just went on and on.

Pandora was now shocked beyond belief. This all became too much for her... that she fell backwards and fell on her back, losing consciousness in her very own mind.

Back in the real world

Pandora slowly opened her eyes, finding herself lying on her own bed inside her and Epimetheus' bedroom. She blinked a few times while trying to sit straight, having no idea how much time had passed. She then remembered the last thing before passing out, she had just given birth to her daughter and then when seeing Sylvia's son, she had no idea what made her have another vision. Slowly, Pandora raised herself from her bed, knowing that she had to tell the others of what she saw. As she walked out of her bedroom, Pandora nearly tripped, feeling still a bit weak and held herself to the table.

At that moment, Epimetheus walked in and was shocked to see Pandora awake and nearly felt. "Pandora!" Before he held her and embraced his wife. "Thank goodness you're alright. I was worried sick!"

Pandora shook her head, ensuring her husband. "I'm alright now, my love." But then she became serious. "I need to talk to Calliope and the others."

"But... what is it?"

"Something I saw... in a vision when I passed out."

Epimetheus however shook his head. "Pandora, please. You passed out after giving labor, you should-"

"Please, Epimetheus, it's important!" Pandora nearly yelled.

He nodded and helped her to walk out of the house, gathering all the others.

Hephaestus, having been back since he heard of Pandora giving birth, was sitting outside beside Aphrodite, holding little Pyrrha in his big hands and playing with her. "Who is my favorite little grandchild? That's you, yes that's you." Hephaestus said while carefully tickling little Pyrrha, making her giggle.

Aphrodite smiled to see Pyrrha being so happy with everyone.

"She's just like Pandora." Hephaestus said. "I remember when she was-"

Suddenly, Pyrrha began to cry, feeling hungry.

Hephaestus looked with surprise, while Aphrodite knew what the problem was. "Oooh, I think our little grandchild is hungry." Before she then took Pyrrha in her arms and walked with her to Sylvia's house, saying to Pyrrha. "Sorry, little one. I know you want your mommy, but she's not feeling well. Hey, I'm sure that your aunt Sylvia will give you some of her milk."

Then, Aphrodite saw Pandora walking over to her with Epimetheus joining her, which surprised her and smiled. "Pandora! Oh, thank goodness you're alright!"

Hephaestus too was happy to see Pandora. "Pandora! My dear child, I heard what happened and came back as soon as possible."

Pandora was glad to see her father again so soon, but seeing her baby daughter crying, Pandora slowly took Pyrrha from Aphrodite's arms and softly whispered to her little daughter. "Shhhhhh... it's okay, it's okay. I'm right here my little Pyrrha." Pandora sat down somewhere and removed a part of her cloth, exposing one of her breasts and held it close to Pyrrha, letting her drink her breast milk, which calmed Pyrrha down as soon as she drank her mother's milk. Pandora then looked at her parents, telling them. "I need to tell you guys something. I need everybody to know."

"What is it?" Hephaestus asked with some worry.

Epimetheus answered. "She... saw a vision when she was in shock after giving birth to Pyrrha."

Aphrodite and Hephaestus exchanged a look. Seeing this couldn't be good, they nodded and gathered the rest of the family.

Pandora then told her family about her vision of an alternate future where Calliope kept the power of hope and became alongside the rest of her family the new gods of Olympus. Everyone was shocked to hear this, with Calliope admitting she was tempted when facing Athena, but chose to save the world instead of owning it for herself as it would not make her any better than Zeus.

After hearing everything, Calliope and Alecto decided to go and look for Eos and eventually found her, with Eos telling them that she was forced to join Helios and the Olympian gods, with Calliope and Alecto forgiving Eos and then they told her that she could come live with them, which she accepted.

When they all got back, Eos told the Titans how sorry she was and was forced to do what she did which they forgave her. Eos then decided to live in the forest where Pandora and Epimetheus had conceived Pyrrha, with Eos giving a short glance at baby Evan, who Sylvia held in her arms and Eos planted a kiss on Evan's head before going into the forest.

There you go, my dear friends, part 1 of the epilogue is complete. Just 2 more chapters to go and this part of the story will be over until the sequel comes out. Oh and fun fact: the story of Eve from the bible was based on Pandora from Greek mythology and that the arc of Noah was also based on the story of Pyrrha and her husband building a vessel to escape the great flood.
