The girls fell asleep tangled finding mutual comfort together when Elsa's eyes popped open. She laid there rigidly for a moment trying to figure out what disturbed her from the best sleep she had gotten in a while. Her eyes quickly swiveled to observer Anna and found her still peacefully asleep all tangled up in the sheets. Though calling Anna's sleep peaceful while she was sprawled across the bed as she was felt inept.

Then she heard it.

She knew that pattern of foot falls.

They were all alone and when she allowed a quick glance away from the door, she saw that it was still too dark out for anyone to be awake yet.

Her stomach turned to lead, and her hands felt shaky. There was no way for this to end well and the worst part, Anna was there.

Anna!

She had to get her sister out of her quickly. She couldn't escape her fate here, but she would be damned if she didn't get her sweet sister out of dodge.

She spun around and quickly shook her sister awake.

"Anna!" She frightfully whispered, "Get up! You have to go! Someone is coming!"

Anna's eyes peeled open, and she bolted straight up when Elsa's words sunk in.

"Someone's coming?"

"YES, and you have to go. Go to your room quickly. After a day like today it is probably a random room check. Go before we get caught."

Elsa shoved Anna towards the passage opening before she quickly cracked it open and shoved Anna through it.

"Go to your room Sunshine. If you can't get there quickly enough then find Gerda. She will find a way to keep you from trouble." Elsa paused a second and saw the panic and confusion that was illuminating from her sister's eyes. She cupped her Anna's face a laid a soft kiss on the crown of her head, "I love you, now go."

With that she shut and sealed the passage entrance on her sweet sister's face. While it tore her to pieces to do that it was more important to get Anna out of her and ensure she was safe.

While she knows that one could not see or even notice where the passage entrance was, she didn't want to risk it by being too close to it. She moved over to the window seat and sat staring at the stars waiting for her fate.

Okay I know this is a really short chapter, but I really have to ask now on how dark you guys really want this to go and how I guess the best way I can put it, graphic you all are comfortable with this getting. I can write this next portion the with the same storyline without a problem, but the only thing that will change is how much I reveal happens to the girls instead of alluding to and writing without actually writing it. I really want to hear from you guys on this. Your opinion matters and want you all to enjoy this journey. Don't worry it won't stay so dark and full of angst for long. I do promise a happy ending we just have to get through this portion first.

Another option I can do if you guys want is to write two versions that I can post in two places. I have this story published and running on AO3 as well, so I can place the more PG version here and the more M rated version on AO3. Just some ideas.

Thanks! Hope to hear from you guys soon.

The link to my AO3 is on my profile, but here to make it easier for you guys!
