Finally this is the last chapter of this short fanfic.

It took me forever to update because I wasn't happy with what I wrote and I was in no mood to write anything. So I took my time editing this chapter until I was satisfied.

I thank everyone who took their time to read this story and I hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 04: Well being.

Nami sat down next to the man at the bar, deciding to give the weird stranger who apparently wanted something from her a chance. She refrained from bombarding him with questions until they got more comfortable. But over time she felt the discussion was one-sided because she was the only one talking, maybe the subject of her breaking up with Kid was annoying the man, surely.

"So," Nami took a sip from her glass of bourbon. "Are you going to tell me what you want from me or do you enjoy hearing the story of my disappointment in love?"

"I have to tell you, you made the right choice leaving that neurotic man." He said as he gestured for Shaky the bartender to refill his whiskey glass.

It was an intriguing moment for Law, usually talking or rather listening to people bored him, but the red-haired woman made him feel otherwise. He enjoyed listening to her voice which was like soothing music to his ears despite the fact that the discussion was not interesting to him. Somehow he had proven that his lack of feeling was a handicap, he really wanted to feel and understand Nami.

"Do not change the subject." She tapped the man on the shoulder to warn him.

"Alright," He nodded before he sighed. "But this is going to be an unusual story for you."

"Don't prolong the suspense." She frowned, looking at him seriously.

"More than a year ago, I had a fatal accident," He began as he remembered that part of his life. "The accident in question caused a great change in me."

"What change?" The redhead felt more and more curious, she expected the man to flirt with her, not tell her about his life.

"I became apathetic." He declared frankly so as not to waste his time talking unnecessarily.

"Oh, are you serious!" Nami moaned with wide eyes, unable to believe what the man had said. "So you don't feel anything at all?" She wanted to confirm if what she understood was the truth.

"Yes, I don't feel anything at all," He nodded. "No emotion to be exact."

"But it's sad," She gasped, hiding her mouth with her hand. "Do you really feel nothing at all?" She persisted in astonishment.

"I am apathetic in the literal sense of the word," He underlined to make the woman understand. "Except that once, I thought I felt something." He decided to start the subject he wanted to clear up in his meeting with the woman.

"That's great," She smiled hopefully. "Then you will heal."

"I don't know, it's all up to you." He pointed out, downing his glass despite the alcohol burning his throat.

"Me!" She exclaimed, surprised and confused at the same time.

"A few days ago, I came to have dinner at the restaurant, you were the waitress who took care of me," He said as he remembered the woman's smile. "You smiled at me and at that moment, I thought I felt something."

"What does it mean?" She asked with a puzzled voice.

"I don't know," He liked the woman's reaction, unlike him, she was too emotional. "That's why I wanted to talk to you, I want to understand what you provoked in me."

"So we're doing some sort of experiment." She concluded with a thoughtful expression. "Am I making you feel something?"

"Maybe." Law avoided answering because he didn't know what to say.

"I am some kind of medicine." Nami wiggled her eyebrows teasingly at the man.

"Apparently," He nodded. "That's why I decided to experiment with talking to you."

"Did it work?"

"I don't know." He shrugged.

"Explain to me." She insisted because she was interested in the case of the man in front of her. It was the first time she had met an apathetic person and apparently she might be a cure for Law's disease.

"I don't feel anything at all but I feel like I'm missing a very important feeling." He scratched his head in frustration.

"What feeling?" She smiled expectantly at him.

"A feeling of well being." The words slipped out of his mouth without his noticing after he saw the smile that had haunted his mind for days.

"Then I will heal you," Nami shouted out determinedly, drawing attention to herself. "Shakky! Give me a bottle of the strongest whiskey you have."

"Right away Nami." The old woman answered.

"We're gonna get drunk 'til you feel something." She gave her thumbs up as she smiled at the man.

As the alcohol took effect on her, Nami lost her senses. She felt her hormones taking control over her and her urge to jump on the man could no longer be held back. And that's what happened, she didn't know when they started kissing or when the man's hand started moving up her skirt. All she knew was that she was going to give Law another treatment.

The couple nearly had sex in the backseat of the cab, so as soon as they got to Law's apartment, they did it in the hallway, not even bothering to turn on the lights or undress completely because the excitement had come to a head.

Law pinned Nami to the wall and pulled down her panties before pulling out his hard member and penetrating her, she wrapped her legs around his waist and pulled him closer to allow him to go deeper inside her, explore her hungry intimacy.

"Law!" She moaned as he picked up the pace, making her succumb even more to the intoxication of passion.

Desire spread more and more throughout Nami's body and her appetite kept increasing. She couldn't silence her moans or stop her hips from shaking as a tremor rocked her lower stomach. The treatment he was giving her was a real treat for her hunger, she closed her eyes, engulfing herself in the inferno of temptation and letting her libido run wild. Her desire for him became immoderate, uncontrollable and intense, causing her to suffer with pleasurable pleasure.

Sleeping with the woman was not in Law's plans, but he had to admit it was the best part of the night. It felt good to succumb to passion after a long period of celibacy, moreover, it allowed him to have a lot of experience with the woman who had awakened a kind of feeling in him. Considering his father's words about the mysterious feeling he felt, Law accepted the theory that he had some kind of crush on Nami, it was his way of loving despite his inability to have feelings.

The alarm clock on the bedside table began to ring, signaling to the man that it was time to get out of bed, it was seven in the morning. He silenced the device quickly before glancing at the soft figure lying next to him who was sleeping soundly. It was crazy the feeling of well being that the woman gave him, just by looking at her, he was more peaceful and relaxed. How could she manage to make an apathetic person feel that even science had no cure for him?

Law brushed the orange hair to better admire Nami's beautiful face, he couldn't help stroking her creamy skin starting from the woman's cheek and down to her collarbone, this gesture woke her from her sleep, opening her brown eyes slowly.

"Good morning." She moaned after letting out a yawn.

"Good morning." He continued to admire the woman's face as she smiled at him with her eyes half closed.

"My head is going to explode." She complained with a wrinkled expression.

"It's called a hangover," He underlined teasingly. "This is what happens when you abuse alcohol."

"I know what it is," She stretched her arms. "I want to sleep."

"You can stay to sleep, but I have to get ready to go to the hospital." He couldn't help but plant a soft kiss on the woman's lips.

"You work?!" It sounded like a question, but it was a complaint of disappointment.

"Yes," He looked at the woman who pouted, puffing out her cheeks. "Unfortunately I have to save lives." It was weird to use the word unfortunately at the beginning of such a lofty statement and apparently Nami noticed his contradictory words because the expression on her face became amused.

"Unfortunately," She sneered as she brought her face dangerously close to his. "I wanted to continue giving you your treatment, mister apathetic."

"It is a tempting proposition." He mused before crushing his lips to hers, sliding his tongue to taste and tease her, it was crazy how much he couldn't get enough of her.

"Go save lives," Nami gasped as they pulled apart. "It is your duty."

"So," He didn't believe what he was about to say, but he was apathetic, so he wasn't ashamed. "Do you want to be my girlfriend? Or maybe you're still taken by the neurotic redhead."

"Before answering you, I would like to know how you feel about me?" Nami asked worriedly.

"You're right to be hesitant to start a relationship with an apathetic," He said looking at the woman seriously. "Thanks to you, I came to feel a sense of well being." He paused to caress her cheek. "I want to see you smile for the rest of my life."

"Sounds like a marriage proposal," Nami felt her heart beat faster. "Even though you're a stalking doctor, I want to be your girlfriend." She smiled teasingly.

Law began his official relationship with the woman with a long kiss, enjoying the taste of happiness despite his inability to feel emotions.

In the end, Nami was really his cure.
