A/N: Computer has been down for a while so I had to wait a bit to continue writing this. As usual Satoshi Tajiri owns Pokémon.
"This will be a 5-on-5 battle between Ash and Corey," said the referee as he stood on the sidelines of the battlefield. "Both sides can substitute at will. Please send out your first Pokémon."
"Sandslash, it's time to make the earth tremble," Corey, the blue haired Ace Trainer said as he sent out a normal Sandslash.
"Dawn, time to make waves as we make this another easy win," Ash said as he sent out the blunette Blastoise out of her PokéBall. She readied her necklace and Ash shook his head. He wanted to wait on Mega Evolution this battle until it was absolutely necessary. Dawn understood and smiled. "Dawn, Hydro Pump!" Dawn lowered herself low enough to where the canons on her shell dress and fired a torrent of water. The Sandslash was down in seconds.
Corey, returned his Sandslash to its PokéBall. "Bruteroot, you're next!" Corey's next Pokémon was a normal male Venusaur.
"Dawn, fall back!" Ash pulled out Dawn's PokéBall and returned her into it. "May, you're next!" The brunette Charizard smiled and roared as she spread her wings. "Flamethrower!" She quickly opened her maw and launched a stream of flames at the plant frog, knocking him out fast.
Corey recalled Bruteroot to his PokéBall. "Pidgeot, go!" Corey set out another normal Pidgeot.
"May, return!" May nodded as she was pulled back into her PokéBall. "Clair, your turn!" The blunette Dragonite stretched as she merely huffed at Pidgeot and knew what Ash wanted her to use. She gathered enough air to freeze and launched an Ice Beam. It hit Pidgeot and knocked it out cold, no pun intended.
Corey was appearing to become angry as he sent out Scyther and Ash brought May back out. Let's just say May knocked out said Scyther and the upcoming Hitmonlee. Ash laid in his cabin next to Serena as she rubbed her slightly bulging belly. "Ash, what should we name our future little Pichu?" Serena asked.
"Well, it depends on the gender of the little one after they hatch or are a live birth," Ash replied.
"How about Adam or Sarah?"
"Those sound like good names Serena. You are even more beautiful when you're thinking and pregnant with our child." Ash rubs the bulge where his little baby is growing in his Pikachu maiden. Serena couldn't help but giggle as Ash went about kissing and rubbing it.
"Ash, you're just a big old softie aren't you sweetheart?"
"Like I said that night of the double foursome, I tend to get that way around my ladies. You deserve the best and I feel like I'm not."
Serena brought him up to her face to where they were eye-to-eye. "Now you listen to me Ashton Ketchum. You need to stop doubting that you're good enough for us. We wouldn't be here if we didn't love you enough. I will be more than willing to be your slave and wife for the rest of our lives to prove that I want to be with you." Serena was nearly in tears as she poured even more of her heart to the love of her life.
"Y-you want to… m-marry me?"
"Not the best way to ask me Ash," Serena sniffled as she smiled.
"Oh! I'll need a ring to give you first huh?"
"Yes, you will baby and yes, I want to be your wife." Ash was still flabbergasted at how Serena was just be willing to be his for life.
"Serena, after we win, we'll go ring shopping." Serena giggled at what Ash says and snuggles into his side, loving that her trainer and lover was in agreement to be her husband. She could just cry from the overwhelming joy she felt after Arceus gave her this second chance.
A/N: A short chapter with no smut but at least it's something for now. My inspiration is kinda dry for the moment. I'll be back up and running as soon as we get through this arc. Any suggestions on who should be Neesha's replacement for the next match would be appreciated since she's Ash's Lapras. R&R
