A/N: Decided to finally get back to this. After seeing several people review it whom only look at this from the real-world scenario and seem to not have any imagination or know jack shit about the Pokémon universe, let me remind you imbeciles that real world logic doesn't apply to Pokémon. In the Pokémon World, 10-year-olds are considered adults. One way to prove this is through Platinum's post-game area called the Resort Area. You can buy a Villa under contract from someone. If you were a 10-year-old in the real world, you couldn't do this without a parent or guardian signing for you. Honestly, this is why adding anything from real world logic tends to ruin a franchise. We need to look no further than the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. Kathleen Kennedy adding in her Feminazi agenda into Star Wars ruined it to where most fans, including myself, have considered the EU stuff to be the true canon of what happened before TPM and after RotJ. Luckily, Dave Faloni has shown that he at least gives a damn about the fanbase by working on The Mandalorian. Point is, don't try thinking by real world standards when reading a work of fiction with its own set of rules for its universe. As usual, Satoshi Tajiri owns Pokémon.

Ash sits at the computer typing away as he dives into the Indigo Conference database to find out about the final Elite Four member he had to face before the Finals. "I found him," He said as he pulled up a file on a guy who looked just like him but with brown hair. "His name is Ritchie and even his team is similar to mine. He has a Raichu, Butterfree and Charizard along with a Fearow and Tentacruel. This will be a good way to test myself."

"Might I make a suggestion then Ash?" said a voice nearby. He turned to see Professor Oak.

"Lay it on me Professor."

"Why not battle him with the same tying? I suggest having May, Bethany and Serena battling their counterparts on his team while Clair takes on Fearow and Dawn takes on Tentacruel."

"Sure thing, but since you're away from the lab, how am I going to get Bethany here?"

"Open up the PokéDex and press one of the buttons on the right side." Ash did as he was suggested and Dexter's voice came on.

"Please choose a Pokémon in your current team to transfer for another," it said showing Ash his current team consisting of Serena, Jessie, Clair, Gardenia, May and Dawn. He thought long and hard then came to the decision to send Jessie temporarily back to the lab. Jessie's PokéBall vanished from Ash's belt, and in its place, Bethany's soon appeared.

"I guess I had forgotten that function."

"Don't worry about it." While all of this was going on, Serena decided that it was high time she did some endurance training. Ash heard the door close and didn't see her anywhere. Outside, Serena breathed deeply as she prepared herself for what she was about to do. She let out a single Thunderbolt and let it fly. Then, she had her ability activate and it came hurdling back at her. It doubly restored the strength she would've lost due to being pregnant with Ash's child. Ash stood there and applauded as he saw her gain her energy back and then some.

"Way to circumvent a disadvantage like that Serena. I'm impressed."

"I'm improving your teachings," Serena said with a huge smirk on her face. Ash couldn't help but smile and shake his head at his future wife.

"Seriously, it was intuitive thinking. Think you can pull off something like that in tomorrow's battle?"

"I sure as Stark Mountain hope so. We can't very well hope to succeed if I can't."

"You won't be able to compete at all," said a scruffy voice that sounded like it was nearby.

"Who said that?" Ash got his answer as he turned to see two Team Rocket Members. One was a guy with teal-green hair in a bowl style cut. The other, a blonde female with pigtails. Both wore black uniforms, white gloves and boots, both sporting a single red stripe on each.

"Prepare for trouble," the blonde girl started.

"Make it double," the teal hair guy continued.

"To infect the world from devastation!"

"To blight all people in every nation!"

"To denounce the goodness of truth and love!"

"To extend our wrath to the stars above!"

"Cassidy!"

"Butch!"

"We're are Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and night!"

"Surrender to us now or you will surely lose the fight!" A Raticate pops out its PokéBall and shouts its name.

"These guys are just as incorrigible as Jessie and James were," Ash said unamused.

"I'm sure if she were here, Jessie wouldn't bat an eyelash to kick these idiots to the curb," Serena said as she had the same unamused look.

"What was that? Did you mention the name 'Jessie'?" Cassidy asked.

"Yeah, she is my Muk now. If she were here with us, she would deal with you in short order," Ash said.

"Doesn't matter," Butch said. "We're taking your Pokémon." He first caught Serena in an electric proof net and used a magnet to grab the other PokéBalls off his belt. This got Ash's anger to flare.

"How dare you try and take my Pikachu..." Ash said as a blue Aura surrounded him and flared up. "No matter how far you might go, I'll be able to track you."

"How do you figure that?"

"I have an ability I recently discovered. I don't know what it is but I can sense where beings are at and talk to beings telepathically." At the same time, his mind connected to Ryoko back at Oak's Ranch. "We have some stragglers from your creator's organization and they are trying to steal everyone. I need your help."

She opens her purple eyes and her entire slate gray body rises from the boulder she was sitting on. "Understood. Raise your Aura so I can find you."

"Is this what this new power of mine is?"

"Yes, now please raise it." Ash nodded and let his new power peak as far as he could muster for now. Ryoko could now sense him and flew in the direction of Indigo Plateau. As she got there, she could see Serena struggling in the net. Being careful to aim properly, she sends a Psycho Cut and severs the net to where she can escape. Taking the opportunity, Serena uses Quick Attack to rush back to Ash's side. Ryoko lands on Ash's other side moments later. "Master, repeat your motions with mine." Ash paid close attention as Ryoko brought her hands into a position where her left hand is over her right by a few inches. Energy started gathering in the middle of them as Ash mimicked her and the same happens for him but to a lesser extent. After Ryoko threw the energy orb at them with her right hand, Ash did the same and both of them sent Butch and Cassidy flying in a westerly direction.

"Wow, that was awesome! What did I just do?"

"That was Aura Sphere. Usually only Pokémon can use it but in the distant past, humans have been documented to use it too."

"Do you... Think Ash could be related to them?" Serena asked.

"It's very possible Serena. Ash seems likely connected to one of Kanto's Knights who mastered Aura in his day."

"We'll have to research it better after the Indigo Conference," Ash said and then turned to his Mewtwo. "Ryoko, please return to Oak Ranch."

"At once Master." She knelt down and kissed Ash before floating back into the air and flying back in the direction of Pallet Town. The night was a restless one as after dinner, Ash had trouble sleeping. His excitement over the fact he was so close to his goal.

A/N: Decided to add in a future element of the next part of the Chronicles. This is the primarily reason why I had Ash get Neesha early since she was available in Silph Co building. Anyway. I hope you guys have a good day during these difficult times
