Teams 7, 8, 10 and Guy (possibly team 9) gathered in training ground 6 for their first session with the Kumo Kunoichis. Anko was also there. But she was dozing with a dango stick between her fingers and some red bean soup in a bottle between her legs.

"Where are they?" Asked Sakura quite angry.

"We are early. In fact we all decided to meet early to make sure that your sensei, who is not here by the way, comes in time." Said Asuma chuckling.

Twenty minutes later Kakashi strolled there while reading his porn. And some minutes later the Kumo girls.

Naruto was wearing her sleeveless kimono top and Hakama style pants, all black. Hinata, in contrast, was wearing a light blue kimono top and knee length tight pants, barely longer than the kimono. Both spotting wide grins. Naruto also carried her mother´s sword in her back. Right behind them Konohamaru and Hanabi.

"Ok guys time to train! But first let us explain to you what will we be doing!" After studying them for a second or so Naruto proclaimed that most of them were awfully over-specialized.

"So… do you know how chakra is formed yes? A combination of your spirit, mind energies and physical energies right? Well, most of you are in quite bad shape. Apart from that you need to broaden your horizons a bit. You need some ninjutsu, better taijutsu and some weapons to support your main rolls! I mean, what kind of ninja is a one trick pony?" Said Naruto.

"So we are going to train you from the basics and then we are going to assess your current skills and offer you some advice. Your senseis will be in charge afterwards and one everyone is doing a more personalised training we will rotate to spar and help you improve." Explained Hinata.

"Jujuju now I will present you the hottest training tool ever!" Shouted the very excited Karui. "This is the BONK!" Naruto unseals a bamboo cane. "As you may guess this cane is for bonking! I´m not speaking of the kind of bonking that makes the rabbits famous but the kind that tends to sting. So each of your senseis will have one and… when, not if, when you stop giving your best… BONK! They will slap your sorry asses, your pretty heads and more or less every part of your body. So you better give us your hottest effort or they will know and…" Some of them groaned Bonk.

"Anyways, is up to your teachers to decide if you are taking it seriously or not! But, Anko-san will also judge your performances as she will also have a BONK. I recommend you to do some stretching. We will start running in 10 minutes."

"YOSH! We will beat this training together! And if we can´t we will run 200 laps around the village Gai-sensei!" Shouted the excited green clad ninja. But before they could start with their routine Hinata bonked both of them in a swift and elegant swing.

"You, Lee-san, are a special case. Your physical prowess is already top notch. So, while doing group training you will work in your self-control by not working harder than the rest. You will train your spirit and mental energies by maintaining the same level that the majority of the group has. This will be for all of you also. You will maintain a steady pace while running, you go to fast and leave part of the group behind…" "BONK!" chorused Naruto and Karui. "… you delay the common effort and you get the BONK. Konohamaru and Hanabi are the only ones that have permission not to keep up."

Hinata threw the BONK to Anko who lifted it above her head and shouted: "By the power of the BONK! I HAVE THE POWER!" Everyone got stuck looking at her. "What? Where you hoping for thunderbolts and lightning? A light show which ends with a ridiculous costume or some other shit?"

Naruto gave each of the Jonins a BONK and grinning addressed the group. "Today your new tortu… I mean training starts! Now run like the Shinigami himself is after you RUN!" And another BONK appeared in her hands.

A couple of hours later the Konoha ninja were allowed to rest. Surprisingly Konohamaru and Hanabi did a pretty decent group. They weren´t the ones who dragged the group down but Ino and Sakura. But while the blond tried her best Sakura tried to put excuses and was now spotting some well-deserved bruises. Lee and Sasuke got some to as they tried to overachieve. Karui was quite happy with Choji´s performance, but she would never admit it nor blush. Nop, never, no way.

"Now that we are finished with the warm ups…" The Genins groaned hearing the blonde. "… Each of you will go with your Sensei and we will be picking you for some one on one training! And we will be doing the same every day for the next 2 weeks. Tsunade-Obasan asked me to also try and give some pointers to the Jonin so… be ready to train super hard." Declared the Uzumaki clan-head.

"We will start with team Gai, as Gai-san is the senior instructor here and his students got more experience. Kono-kun, Nabi-chan Come with us." Ordered Hinata.

Once the Kumo team was alone with the taijutsu oriented group, Hinata made them sit in a circle.

"More or less I know the strengths of this team, that's why we will start testing your chakra affinities."

"H-san. I can´t use ninjutsu nor genjutsu. That's why my dream is to be a great ninja with only taijutsu." Lee was going to keep his rant about self-improvement thru hard work, but Hinata raised her hand stopping him.

"Lee-san. You have an active chakra system, and you can perform the tree walking exercise, can you not?" The boy nodded. "Then you must have not only active chakra but also be able to manipulate it to some degree. During taijutsu you use it to enhance your body do you not? Even if you have problems to perform normal jutsu, you may be able to still make techniques with inner chakra regulation work. So let's try at least."

"I´m not sure of how he does it, but is pretty well known that A-sama uses pure chakra manipulation to enhance his reflexes. And that is no jutsu! Who knows? Maybe you find a super-hot way of enhancing your body…" Guessed Karui. That gave Lee some food for thoughts.

The chakra paper revealed that Neji and Hanabi got earth nature, which was perfect for the Hyuga taijutsu. So Naruto asked them to think of creative ways of adding jutsu to their fighting style.

"Well, I could use body strengthening jutsu to hit harder and protect myself. If I use a skin hardening jutsu my finger taps would be like awls yes? That could help me against armoured enemies and also make me more durable."

"Not bad Neji-san. A bit basic, but effective nonetheless." Commented Naruto.

"H-neesan! What if I use Earth style to rise walls and force one on one confrontations and short range encounters!? The Hyugas are well known to be deadly in close quarters so why not force the situation? I would try to avoid a taijutsu fight against a member of the clan if I were an enemy, but if I am forced my strategy crumbles!"

"That Hanabi-san is a mighty good idea! I myself have done similar things from time to time." Said gay with a youthful thumbs-up.

Lee and Konohamaru got fire. And Tenten got lightning, which was ideal for her fighting style. It would let her improve her bukijutsu and add some powerful ninjutsu to.

"Hey Bun-bun girl! You don´t know how lucky you are! Here we all know how to use lightning chakra flow! You just need some good quality weapons to support you. If you use it in normal quality weapons they will degrade really fast. But I guess that you normally don't throw good quality stuff around no?" Said Karui grinning.

"Most of my equipment I forge. So is quite good. When it gets degraded or broken I just melt and recycle. Umm… you sure that is a good idea to teach me that? It seems like Kumogakure MO."

"Yup Yup. More or less every village knows how to do the chakra flow or the elemental chakra flow. Is no secret. The trick is to actually master it. Bee-sensei was able to kill a bandit with a pencil and lightning chakra flow! He punched a hole right thru his chest… and the wall behind." Said Naruto letting the Konoha ninja shocked.

"Now weapons. I might not use it frequently but I train with a short kodachi sword. N-chan and Tenten are well equipped, and Karui uses her long Odachi as main fighting style. The rest of you?" Asked Hinata.

Gai revealed his nunchaku. Konohamaru his bo staff and Hanabi admitted that she was intrigued by the possibility of using the Hyuga gentle fist with a bo as well. Hinata revealed that she was able to add her chakra to her enemy's body with her sword, but not target the chakra points. But it was mostly due to her weapon cutting instead of smashing. So it sounded doable.

"I… I want to try using senbon to deliver our gentle fist Hinata-sama. I have heard people speculating about this many times. I would like to try…" Said Neji embarrassed. It was after all difficult for him to branch for what he have been taught all his life.

"Neji-san, please refer to me as H-san. And yes, it should be possible. You however, might need chakra metal senbon."

"H-san! I think that I would like to try and discover how to use my chakra first and chose a weapon after! So meanwhile I will use a brass-knuckle or a gauntlet or something similar!" Nearly shouted the excitable green clad boy. And his sensei started to shout about youth with him.

"No. Bad Bushy-brow and Bad Super-Bushy-Brow! Bonk. Bonk! BONK!" Shouted Naruto bashing them with righteous anger.

"Wow you stopped the Eternal sunset genjutsu! I might add the BONK to my arsenal! I normally use kunai and assassination kunai." Said the snake mistress showing them the longer and sharper assassination daggers.

"Well? What are you waiting for? You got pointers and a sensei to guide you. We will be doing our thing so don't hesitate to stop by and ask while we are training." Said Naruto standing up in a jump.

"Actually N-chan, you are going to spar with Karui-chan. Lee-san, Neji-san come with me. Tenten-san you should ask Gai-san about the chakra flow and train on it. Ask the girls for pointers and to check your progress.

Hinata took them far enough so they would not be distracted by the others and explained to them that it was vital for Lee to have a Byakugan checking on him to avoid major injuries while trying to discover how to use his chakra. And to send detailed reports of his progress to Tsunade´s office, to be able to heal you in case of trouble.

Konohamaru started Hanabi in his Bo katas.

Next Day, after some BONK and group training…

"So this is team 10. A capture and intelligence team yep? Soo… what are your roles? What you got?" Asked Naruto.

"Shikamaru and Ino are intelligence and capture specialist while Choji is support and heavy hitter. I have the same roll and also direct interrogations until they have more… experience."

"Well same routine that with the other team. We are going to check your chakra natures, and weapon choice to help you develop a more rounded fighting style. Oh man this team also needs a major kick in physical training." Said Karui.

"Man, what a drag…"

"Oy! Listen here pineapple-head! We can literally mop the floor with your faces! Not defeat you, no. absolutely destroy you. Like in trample you with no effort! Zero, nop, no resistance whatsoever. Choji-kun is pretty tough yeah. But no weapon equals swish-kebab! And Ino-chan and you are sitting ducks without him." Argued Naruto. "You need some competence in solo fighting guys. Come on! You are Ninja!"

"I was actually thinking on asking father to teach me our family staff style. It works with our jutsu too." Admitted a shy Choji after the harsh assessment. Shikamaru just grunted in annoyance.

"Shikamaru-san, I get that you distrust us. I can respect that. But, understand that it is in our best interest to help you grow as strong as you can get. We don´t seek the knowledge of your strengths, there are spies for that. We don´t lust for your secrets, we don´t have use for them as most of your clans use false bloodline limits. We just want to plant the seeds that will help our allies grow as strong as possible for mutual benefit. So, in that spirit, please, don´t hesitate to share your concerns and I promise to try and answer as well as I can."

"I think that I have enough information right now to guess who you really are. And that is the reason why I can´t trust you. I can´t understand why will you be open to help us." Started Shikamaru. And before he could be interrupted he raised his hand and asked to let him explain.

"You are the lost Hyuga heiress, apparently sold by her clan. Why would you agree to help Konoha? And you… you are the last Uzumaki. This has been hidden to us, the younger generation, but I have dug enough to learn that the Uzumaki where once our biggest allies and we failed to help them in their time of need. I also know that the First master Hokage captured and distributed the nine Biju… but it is not mentioned what happened to the Nine tailed one."

Shikamaru adopted his thinking pose and continued saying: "Shodai Hokage´s wife was Mito Senju… but her maiden name was Uzumaki and was known as the Witch because of her knowledge of the sealing arts. So it is plausible that she was the first Jinchuriki. Then the other Uzumaki who was famous in our village was Kushina The Red Death. Who arrived to the village a few years before the death of Lady Mito and the fall of the Uzumaki clan. So… I think that she was the second. And you are the third… Kushina disappeared and you appeared just after the Kyubi escaped and ended being sealed in you. Then the village used you as a scapegoat and nearly killed you. So why help."

Naruto laughed hard. Hinata looked concerned but she shacked her head and eyed the older ninjas seriously. "This is top secret info. Only a few people are aware. The penalty for revealing this info is death so be cautious." She said. Then she activated her doujutsu to scan the surrounding area to ensure that no one was spying on them.

"When my mother was giving birth to me, someone with a Sharingan interrupted the proceeding and forced the seal keeping the Kyubi to malfunction and break. A female Jinchuriki´s seal weakens during childbirth. Then he used genjutsu against the Biju and forced her to attack the village. A Jinchuriki can´t survive without his or her beast. Besides my mom was seriously injured trying to protect me so I was the only option… as only a Uzumaki can hold the vixen." Naruto snorted with disdain. "I… No, we. We don´t care about Konoha as a whole. We care for our friends here but that's it. But we can´t ignore that Konoha is one of the strongest hidden villages and that there is someone out there looking for the Biju. So helping strengthen Konoha and providing you with a Jinchuriki, who we are going to recruit at some point in the next weeks, we protect our village and another biju. This way we are safer and the enemy will have a harder time trying to get to us. We are helping you for our own benefit, as we are the village with the highest amount of Jinchuriki. Will we make friends out of you? Sure, but protecting Kumogakure comes first. Is that enough for you Shikamaru san?

"Just one more question. Is the Fourth Hokage your father?"

"That he is."

After Choji and Asuma somehow managed to get over the surprise, team 10 followed the same procedure than the previous team. Ino got lightning element, which was quite logical as brains relay on electric pulses to work. Asuma recommended her to visit Tenten and learn how to use metal tonfa. Tonfa would give her an improved defence while allowing a kick based taijutsu. At the same time she wouldn´t be too hindered to use hand seals effectively, and a sharp tip tonfa were dangerous in cramped spaces. Ino´s new resolve to become a decent kunoichi gladly surprised his sensei.

Choji and Shikamaru both got earth and fire, but where Choji favoured earth Shikamaru got fire as his dominant element. He agreed to learn how to use high quality chakra metal knives and maybe a kusarigama or some other sort of chained weapon.

Karui asked Choji if it was possible to redirect his body expansion jutsu to really specific muscles in his body and not just the whole body part. The objective? To develop a way to turn him in a hulking mas of muscles, body builder style, instead of just making him a giant.

Kiba was really looking forward their shared lessons. The brutal training regimen of kumo was quite similar to his clan´s. it keep them in shape at the same time that it made them work as a unit, as a pack.

He noticed the glances that both Rin and Kurenai keep sending H-san. There was longing and fear of rejection in their eyes and he cursed his inability to offer bodily comfort to Rin as well as his lack of familiarity with his new sensei.

When the Kumo team plus Anko, who he learned that was a close friend of Kurenai, got them to sit in a circle, he knew that that was exactly the proper environment to learn and to be himself.

"Following the routine we stablished with other teams. First we check you for your chakra nature and then we go for weapons!" Said an enthusiastic Snake mistress.

Kiba raised his hand to get their attention. "Kakashi-sensei already cheeked me when… well, after I was reassigned. He is helping me with summoning and lighting jutsu. I have a major lightning and lesser affinities for fire and earth."

Shino turned up to be fire and earth and Rin water.

"If you are capable of mixing your natural poisons with water jutsu you´ll be a monster in the battlefield!" Shouted Anko.

"I find it amusing that the most common natures in our village coincide with those in Iwagakure." Was the smart comment from Shino.

In the weapon department Kurenai surprised everyone sowing them a family heirloom that she was learning to use. It was a short double edged blade with a handle with the same length that the blade. So much shorter than a naginata but longer than a long handle sword. The weapon thought could only be described as elegant.

Rin told them that she was interested in senbon launchers and Anko robed her into using assassination kunai for close quarters. Kiba sowed quite the insight when he explained that he was thinking in some kind of clawed gauntlets, but he needed to find the way to be able to use hand sings unhindered.

"I have a lot of work to do. Why you ask? Because of our symbiotic nature it is harder for the Aburame to do nature transformation without damaging our hives. I have already asked my father for the works of previous clansmen using elemental jutsu and I have to: First make sure all my little friends are able to adapt to elemental chakra. Second breed Kikaichu beetles specialized in my two different natures." Shino readjusted his shades. "For weapons I have decided to learn how to use a Kanabo club. Is easy to use, good for defence and I can rest it against my shoulder while performing jutsu. I suspect that the correct length would be that of a long sword and not to wide or heavy. Why you ask? Because I´m more interested in its defensive properties than in using it as my primary fighting form."

"Very good idea Shino. I have some friends that are well versed in kenjutsu. I´m sure that they can teach you the basics." Said his sensei.

After training Kurenai asked Hinata about her real identity and was overjoyed to hear her answers. Rin also fell quite comfortable surrounded by girls that didn´t shy from her because of her condition.

"N-san. I am really grateful for this. I would like us to be friends and not just allies. Know that my mother was a good friend of yours and that the Inuzuka has your backs." Said Kiba as they were leaving. Naruto smiled and pated his shoulder.

"You got a fine team here Kurenai."

"I Know Anko-chan. Believe me, I know. And I have to push myself harder to set a good example for them. Would you help me? I´m afraid that I have become over-reliant in genjutsu."

"Of course Nai-chan!" Said Anko using her pet name.

When they meet team 7 after the joint training they weren´t expecting to find them really motivated, but what they found was outright worrying.

Sasuke was resting against a tree not only not sowing interest but also looking down on them. Sakura was whining and moaning out loud and being completely ignored. Sai… well… he was literally part of the set up. The Kumo team have found furniture with more relevance or personality than him. And Kakashi was of course reading his porn.

"Yikes Kakashi! What´s going on with your team? Gezzz the attitude!" Complained Anko. Sasuke growled.

"Well… let's see what we have here. Mind If I do the questioning?" The Kumo team let the snake mistress proceed.

Minutes later Anko was fuming and berating Kakashi for his incompetence. To which Kakashi retorted saying that it was not his fault that Sakura didn´t put any effort on her training or that Sasuke did whatever he wanted. Sai… well, he was Sai.

"What do you expect me to do? The dam council forced me to pass this team, even if only Kiba was ready." Sasuke tsk-ed and Sakura started ranting, but no one paid her any attention. "I can´t even properly discipline them! I WAS the motherfucking team captain of the motherfucking ANBU team RO. I trained the best. I revamped the motherfucking ANBU training system with them! I was known as ANBU Dog, the mad dog. Do you know why our ANBU only have one deserter in all the time after my time there? Because I motherfucking train them! That is why! Because apart from Motherfucking Itachi Uchiha, I did not allow any of my men to be loyal to their clans when wearing a mask. And if the higher ups had allowed me to cut the motherfucking Itachi from his other responsibilities he would still be one of our best operatives."

"What! You trained my brother?" Sasuke shouted. And he was about to start demanding ludicrous things when Kakashi nearly bitchslaped him.

"Of course I did. And he was one of my best! I don´t know what made him snap, but if I had had my way he would have been the ANBU top operative after me. But noooooo. Kakashi you must allow him do whatever… well there you have the results."

Kakashi, who was pacing, stopped and took a deep breath to reorganize his thoughts. "The civilian council, who knows that I despise them, banned me from ANBU training after I end my service in the masked corps. They made me rust! In my prime I would have deal with Zabuza no problem but my abilities have rust even more than I thought. Then they ask me to train you but don´t allow me to properly do it. To properly apply discipline. With them is just: teach lots of Jutsu to the Uchiha, allow Haruno to be lazy, don't punish them too much, protect them, bla bla bla…" He sighed in frustration. "You are the worst team of the batch and is because I have to pamper you!"

Sasuke scoffed, like he usually did when he listened to something that didn´t really suit his own ideas. And Sakura started yelling about the unfairness of it all.

"That is true. The only purpose of this team is to pamper Uchiha-san. As I am privately trained it won´t hinder me very much." Said Sai smiling.

"What an absolute ton of shit they dumped on to you eh Kakashi? Meh, now that Tsunade-sama is giving the orders things will change for sure." Anko said spotting her most mischievous grin.

"Summarizing, Duckbutt prince is quite well rounded, got to improve Genjutsu, but all in all is clearly one of the toughest Genin in the village. Probably superior than half of the Chunin. But you need to learn discipline, to accept the hard truth and fucking tactics and common sense! Gezz you are a Shinobi not a fairy tale knight or the avenger hero in a theatre play. You got good control over fire nature, as expected of your clan, and you should improve your second affinity for Lightning and may be do de basics of earth and water."

"Why not wind also?" Interrupted Sasuke.

"Did I give you leave to interrupt me you punk" Shouted Anko making the raven haired boy flinch. But he just scoffed afterwards.

"For starters your fancy eyes are not good to copy wind jutsu if you have no affinity for wind. Because wind is rare and relays more in manipulation than hand seals. And you, you undisciplined sorry excuse of an asshole, you won´t spend the time that wind jutsu require to master them." The female Jonin´s eyes were threatening to burn holes in his skull.

"You should also learn to use a weapon."

"Sai… well you are a bit overspecialized but you are pretty solid Chunin level."

"And you, the pink banshee! You are utterly pathetic. Your chakra manipulation is superb, your memory is nearly eidetic. And yet you are not learning genjutsu or med-jutsu. Why? You only know the academy three and nothing more! You are not even Genin level! Just an out of the academy green behind the ears, sorry excuse of a fangirl posing as a kunoichi. You are a liability, a danger to your team and an embarrassment to all Kunoichi out there."

Sakura started crying and mumbled that it wasn´t true. But kakashi reminded her how easily she was taken down during the exams. Also it was discovered that she had a balance earth and water affinity.

"This team needs lots of work. And some hot survival exercises! You two are accustomed to have everything done for you. No idea bout what suffering actually is." Said Karui crossing her arms.

"How dare you!"

"Oh please shut up! We all know your sob story. Yeah yeah, preaty traumatizing but… Have you ever had to fend for yourself? Noup, the civilian council has been pampering you since you lost your clan. Do you manage your money? Do your groceries? Clean? Cook? Nop, someone else does it for you. Have you ever starve or at least know hunger? Nop. Have you ever be truly alone and defenceless? Afraid of not waking up again if you fall asleep? Nop. Have you ever been cold? Like truly cold with nothing to burn or clothes to add to what you already have? Nop. You got your traumas, no one´s denying that. But you never endure a harsh life, and neither have you Pink-chan." Karui gave them a toothy smile.

"Sooooo… from now on you will live in tents in the training grounds, hunt your food and clean your stuff. That and proper discipline can make proper ninja out of you." After a dramatic pause she added. "If you are willing to endure and learn the true ninja way."

"And how is that going to make us stronger?" Asked Sasuke irritated.

"That is easy. You will learn the true meaning of effort. Then you´ll learn to manage your own effort and work ethics. And, doing that, you hopefully will learn to properly train and focus in what you really need. To be the best ninja you don´t need a thousand jutsu but true mastery of a few. Look at your own fourth Hokage. He knew lots of jutsu and was really adept in Fuinjutsu, yet he was feared for the techniques that he mastered. The Rasengan and the Flying Thunder God." Explained Hinata. "What use is to you Uchiha-san to learn hundreds of jutsu that you are not going to use when you can learn how to make the best of every situation with just a few? Am I saying that you must not copy other jutsu? No, but use them as back up. Don´t get obsessed over them. Your own teacher, The Copycat Ninja, does that doesn't he? He uses his own strategies with his go to jutsu and backs it up with the rest of the arsenal. But at the end of the day he is a true elite ninja because of his efforts not because he knows hundreds of techniques."
