After dropping the fox miraculous to his master, Cat Noir pole-vaulted from roof to roof to see his princess at her apartment. This time he won't scare her by intruding since he knows she gets annoyed by that. He found her place and all of a sudden, thunder flashed and it started to rain. Lucky for him he's not afraid of water like a cat but he is afraid to get sick.
He came to the balcony and knocked on the glass door to let her know he's outside soaking wet.
"Cat Noir? What are you doing out there? Get in here, now" Marinette opened the sliding door and let him in.
"Sorry I got wet. I'm lucky that I'm not scared of water" Cat Noir said.
"Here, keep yourself warm" Marinette hands him a warm blanket.
"Thank you, Princess," He said and warmed himself up.
"So what happened? You didn't know it was gonna rain?" Marinette asked.
"Until the thunder clashed," Cat Noir said, warming himself on the couch.
"You poor kitty" She scratched his chin.
"Mmmmm thanks" He purred.
"But at least you had a shower in the rain, street cat" Marinette smirked.
"Yup, it cleaned my fur puuuuurrrrretty well" Cat Noir teased.
"Sure does kitty" Marinette pets his ears.
*PUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRR*
The feline villain purred in happiness that his princess is petting him like a cat. He nuzzled his face against her neck with his eyes closed.
"Kitty!" Marinette laughed.
"Meow…..will you adopt me as a pet?" Cat Noir did his cute baby doll eyes.
"I would like to," Marinette said.
"Though I can't let you know my identity," Cat Noir said.
"Are you shy that I would see your real human eyes?" Marinette laughed.
"Is my cat eyes too scary?" Cat Noir teased her.
"I'm not scared of your feline eyes. You bad kitty cat" She played his bell.
"Right of course" Cat Noir held her chin up gently.
"What are you doing?" Marinette asked.
"Relax Princess" He leans in to kiss her.
Marinette blushed as Cat Noir planted a kiss on her lips. At first, she thought he would be aggressive but instead, he was very gentle. She gave in to the kiss and held him by the neck. The feline brought her to his lap, kissing her passionately, and then nibbled her neck to mark her again, growling lowly that no man should ever touch her.
"Ahhh…. Kitty" Marinette moaned from the hickey being marked.
"Mine," He said lowly.
"Ahhh…territorial much?" Marinette gasped from the bite.
"Yeah, nobody hurts milady," Cat Noir said.
"I never thought that a feline villain is very overprotective" She stroked his hair.
"I'm full of surprises, Marinette" Cat Noir said.
"And what would that be?" Marinette asked.
"I'm cunning, funny, ultra-charming, Cat Noir" He smirked and removed the blanket off himself.
"Sure you are, Kitty" Marinette giggled.
"So anything special happened recently?" Cat Noir asked.
"Just been finding out my dress design came to the covers," Marinette said.
"Me-wow. My princess is becoming famous" He purred.
"Well my manager approved it," Marinette said.
The cat-themed criminal knows who she's talking about but she has no idea that he's right in front of her the whole time, "Well that's great Marinette" He pretends to be surprised.
"Thank you, Kitty" She again scratched his chin.
He purred and picked her up in his arms, bringing her to her bedroom and laying down next to her.
"What a gentleman" Marinette smiled.
"I'm always paw-sitively playful, my puuuurrrrincess" Cat Noir smirked.
"Puns again?" Marinette rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"My bad" Cat Noir chuckled nervously.
"Awww…. you are a very shy man" Marinette snickered.
"Maybe I am" Cat Noir nuzzle her.
"I thought you like being dangerous and evil like a villain," Marinette said.
"Well until I met you," Cat Noir said.
"Is that why you're being nice to me?" Marinette scratched his chin.
"Yes, a lot of men have their special lady," Cat Noir said.
"Maybe someday I'll tame you to be a hero than a villain," Marinette said.
"I'm only a hero to you, princess. I'm not a hero to Paris" Cat Noir corrected her.
"Well, an Anti-hero works too" Marinette shrugs.
"Sounds better" Cat Noir agreed.

A while later at midnight, Cat Noir woke up and noticed that Marinette is sleeping beside him on her bed. He guessed that he was tired and fell asleep and Marinette tucked him in. He couldn't help but smile at how cute his princess looked in her sleep. The night was still young and he's a nocturnal kitty.
"See you soon milady" He kissed her cheek before leaving.
He jumped out the window and landed on all fours like a cat. The ground was a little wet due to rain, "I'm so in love with her" Cat Noir swoons.
He spots a bulky biker about to get on his Ducati but Cat Noir extends his claws and scratched the road sign to give out a torturing sound.
"AAAAAGH! Who did that?!" The biker screamed.
The feline chuckled and blew his claws, "Meow"
"You did it?!" The Biker turned to see him.
"A cat like me lands on his feet" Cat Noir shoves the biker off and rides his stolen bike.
"HEY! GET BACK HERE!" The biker yelled but the cat thief was already gone.
Cat Noir drives down the road, dodging the trucks and cars. Memories of his father were very painful and emotionally torturing. The day his mother died made his father become rogue, being forced to listen but he refused to side with him. He had to put him away after discovering he was Hawk Moth. And right now he's still the number 1 thief of Paris.
It started to rain again and he didn't care if he got wet again. He came to a stop at the Notre Dame cathedral since he sometimes comes here to clear his mind. He climbed up on the bell towers and sat near the bells, which were standing still for the moment.
"I knew you would show up here" A familiar voice spooked him.
"God almighty! You know I'm allergic to pigeons, I don't eat them, mutt" Cat Noir said.
"I know that. So you finally defeated Volpina did you?" Flairmidable guessed.
"Yes" Cat Noir shook his wet hair like a dog on Flairmidable.
"Ugh!" Flairmidable jumps back.
"I'm just here to clear my head after my father's arrest years ago," Cat Noir said.
"Moving forward?" Flairmidable asked.
"Yes, sort of" Cat Noir replied.
"You know this criminal life won't last forever," Flairmidable said.
"Maybe, because sooner or later I'll leave that life behind, but that's up to me," Cat Noir said.
"For a cat with nine lives, you know how to keep track," Flairmidable said, eating chunks of steak like a dog.
"It's what I do, Felix. My father still has the butterfly miraculous but it's camouflaged in jail. I can't go near that place" Cat Noir said.
"Yet he has not escaped," Flairmidable said.
"One can never be sure" Cat Noir replied.
"So what are you gonna do now since you haven't been captured yet?" Flairmidable finished his food.
"Just gonna spend some time as a civilian" Cat Noir said.
"This late at midnight?" Flairmidable said.
"Never mind" Cat Noir changed his mind.
"You still have that lady scent on you, even if it's wet" Flairmidable smelling the scent on the feline.
"Oh yeah. She's pretty like a princess" Cat Noir said.
"Let me guess, you marked her," Flairmidable said.
"Indeed, so nobody else will have her" Cat Noir replied.
"Bullshit. You're just the cat's meow always making girls swoon at you all the time at the nightclub" Flairmidable chuckled.
"I'm always the cat's meow. I'm not a player, Felix. I don't play with feelings. I just entertain and learn not to fall for their seduction like Lila did to me. That's why I prefer to work for myself." Cat Noir said, looking at the view of Paris down below.
"Have it your way, Adrien" Flairmidable shrugs.
"I'm just saying that we both been used and manipulated by my father. You nearly made a deal that got you almost killed. And you let Lila get away with the fox miraculous. You're just not very careful to know who to trust. That's why I hate my father because he only seeks glory for himself" Cat Noir sighed.
"Not to mention he never came to my father's funeral" Flairmidable sat next to him.
"And he made me not go there. I'm sorry." Cat Noir said and thunder flashed which did not bother him.
Flairmidable's resentful face turned into one of sorrow, "I forgive you, Adrien"
Cat Noir smiles a little at his cousin, "Thank you, Felix"

A while later, the feline came back to Marinette's place since he felt like spending some time with her but he had to let his kwami rest a while without having his secret identity exposed to his princess.
"Okay, Plagg, claws in" He detransformed.
"Man, what a blast!" Plagg said but Adrien covered his tiny mouth.
"Shhhhhh" He shushed him and got under the covers without waking her up and closed his eyes to get some sleep.
