Okay, let's get things going with a brand new MML short! Anyway, enjoy!

Inside the Murphy household, only three familiar teenagers were hanging out at home at the moment, having a best friends day together. The setting was the kitchen, and the action was cooking. Milo Murphy, Zack Underwood and Melissa Chase were all in chef's outfits, looking ready to cook a delicious meal of their making.

"Okay, everybody, the name of the game is Iron Chef, and the person who cooks the best meal and runs each by taste test will be the best dish!" Milo grinned as he held his cooking utensils.

"No offense, Milo, but the last time we used the kitchen, it blew up when you tried to make popcorn." Zack noted. "Not to mention the infamous mac-and-cheese incident."

Melissa giggled as she said, "I still remember being covered in cheese sauce. And come on, Zachery, you have to admit, it's per the norm of Murphy's Law."

"I-I guess so, but why can't we have this contest outside... or better yet, at our own places?" The dark-skinned boy asked with a nervous grin. Both Milo and Melissa stared at the boy with bemused expressions as he looked between them. "Uh, right. I withdraw the question."

"Look, Zack, if you're worried about our kitchen, it'll be fine." Milo grinned. "My parents ordered a brand new kitchen that's bound to be protected from insurance."

"...I'm surprised it hasn't blown up yet." Zack noted as he looked at the fine walls. "When did you recently get this kitchen installed?"

"Four days ago." Milo nonchalantly said as he focused on his ingredients. "Now, let's get this contest started! We each have our own ingredients and recipes, right?"

Melissa gave a thumbs-up as Zack nodded. Milo grinned as he held up the egg-timer. "Great! As soon as I turn the egg-timer, we'll start up our dishes! Ready?"

Melissa smirked as she gave a nod. Zack smiled nervously as he looked down at his ingredients. Milo then turned the egg-timer and put it on the ground. "GO!"

With that, the three teenage cooks got to work as they each started to prepare their dishes. On Milo's end of the kitchen, he was looking at a cookbook to see how he can some nice, homemade waffles. He pulled out a bowl and started to add a quart of milk and a pound of flour. He quickly pulled out two eggs and cracked them in the pot, before stirring them in as he reached for the baking powder. Milo squinted at the recipe book as he tried to look it over, unaware he was putting too much baking powder into the bowl.

All the while, Zack was busy preparing a delicious pork roast using only bacon and potatoes, a delicious delicacy he once saw in an anime involving food. Putting the potatoes together, he proceeded to wrap each potato up in bacon before attaching each of the wrapped starched roots by string, then salting and putting parsley on it. Giving a small grin, he put the bacon-wrapped potatoes on the grill before putting salt on them. Then, he went to the pre-heated oven and put in the roast as he gave a small grin. He looked at his watch as he knew he had plenty of time to spare.

Over on Melissa's side of the kitchen, she was casually humming to herself as she was making what was probably the most difficult dish that people thought to be impossible to make, but with the right hands, can be pretty easy. She was making a nice spicy sausage curry as she was currently mixing in a bowl of meat, vegetable oil, onions and spices in a nice little pan. As she kept watch over the mixture cooking in the pan, she also was preparing a pot of boiling rice as she carefully stirred it, and flipping over some cooked smoked sausages. She paused as she examined each mixture, before grabbing some hot sauce. She then poured a bit of it in the curry, then smothered a little in the sausage. The red haired girl then paused for a minute... before just putting some sauce in the boiling pot of rice, giving a satisfied smirk.

Milo poured his waffle mix into the iron as he stepped to the side, waiting for the waffle to cook.

Zack was humming to himself, reading a novel as he waited for the bacon-wrapped potatoes to bake in the oven.

Melissa then started to put in some chili powder and garlic powder into her mix of curry, intending to mix it up some more.

Milo waited patiently as he waited for his waffle to cook. All of a sudden, the iron started to bounce up and down, much to the jinx's notice.

Zack hummed a bit as he looked at the clock, ready to open the oven and check on his bacon-wrapped potatos. He opened the oven and took them out as he used a toothpick to poke a hole in one of the potatoes. Steam came out of the potato as he gave a grin. He put the bacon-wrapped potato pork roast on the stove as he started to smear it in barbecue sauce.

Melissa, knowing that her work was done, grabbed the rice and put it on three separate plates. Melissa then looked at her curry mixture before putting it on the rice, the steam rising up from each meal. Then, she put one smoked sausage on each plate, completing the dishes. The beautiful red haired girl paused, before putting in some extra hot sauce on each plate for good measure.

It was right as the egg timer rang as the waffle iron exploded, leaving Milo's end of the kitchen a mess, much to Zack and Melissa's concern. Milo got out of the exploded mixture as he looked around at the mess and the ruined waffle iron. He grinned nervously. "Heh, guess I put a little too much baking powder."

Melissa paused as she put a finger inside the batch and licked it... before grinning. "Hmmm... Milo Waffle. Delicious."

The brown haired teen couldn't help but laugh as he got out of the mixture, before looking over each dish. "My, my, you two seem to have made quite the dishes. Especially yours, Zack."

"You like the 'Gotcha' Pork Roast?" Zack asked as his two friends picked up some forks and tried the dish for themselves... before giving big grins.

"Hmmmm..." Melissa smiled. "Not a bad dish, Zack, but wait until you try my dish! This is sure to be a winner!"

"Heh, I bet it is..." Zack said as he, Milo and Melissa moved on to Melissa's dish next. Milo examined the plates as he whistled.

"Dang, Melissa, you sure don't hold back when it comes to making that curry." Milo said as he picked up his plate.

Melissa giggled a bit. "It's my mom's old recipe."

The boy smiled as he put a spoon in the dish before scooping out some rice and curry, and putting it in his mouth. After a few minutes of eating, Milo felt the spiciness of the dish as he swallowed it whole, giving his girlfriend a smile. "Hey, that's pretty good! Do you have any hot sauce?"

Zack looked surprised as he examined Melissa's dish with curiosity, before trying it himself. The boy's eyes widened in shock as his taste buds couldn't handle the spicyness of Melissa's cooking. Immediately, he ran over to the fridge and grabbed the jug of milk that was in there. The boy opened up the bottle and started to chug down the milk.

Melissa watched as she shook her head, eating the curry she made. "Guess he can't handle my cooking."

"Shame. I think this is your best dish yet, Melissa." Milo said as he ate some more sausage curry. "I think you're the winner in my books."

"Aww, that's sweet." Melissa giggled before winking at the boy, making him blush.

As the two friends enjoyed their meal, Zack continually drank more milk until he could drink no more. All in all, it was a fun learning experience for the three friends.
