After what happen with the rabbit i was kinda depressed it serve like reminder that i wasn't able to turn on my fighting mode i was always attend to the next thing that would attack me always looking for an aventage in field, always looking for tools that I never use it was exhausting yet when tried to distract me and lower my ward the paranoia took a hold me

Honestly I didn't know what was worse exhausting my brain over preparing for if encounters or let my brain drown in the endless Lake of paranoia since I had the paranoia on while I was in the mansion I think going into over prepper mode for a while well now with first ítem of my list of problems is RBD more specifically how consistently trigger it my body isn't as fragile as before therefore abusing RBD like i did with capella is no longer an option.
I tried using my corruption but as expected I'm immune to it. I destroyed the bed in the mansion god I hope ram doesn't find it. I could do the same that I did Capella and carry a crystal to blow myself up but then people would start asking questions besides if reganeration my is as good as Capella then wouldn't be enough and the talk after that would be difficult at best, RBD isn't my trump card anymore it's conditional second chance, there it was the former irlam village half the houses were destroyed thanks to the cult I didn't like it but at least they were alive maybe rosewall can help them rebuild the place I finally saw a group of merchants anastasia had convinced them to come by saying that rosewall would buy all their products in the base price so they were here waiting for rosewall to come back.
Subaru:"hey guys is someone willing to take a job now we need some to take us to the sanctuary"
They talked to each other for a while then one of them responded to him.
Merchand:"look for some called Otto he is with dragons and to be honest the guy needs the job"
That was actually good news. He could put into practice what Anastasia taught him after they made Anastasia take him aside and gave him a few pointers. She told him that it was better if he knew this kind of stuff since he was going to work for her at a later date.
Arriving to the place where all chariots there he say a man green clothes with a hat, he had gray hair you could tell by his expretion he had a bad day.
Subaru:"hey are you Otto the others told you needed a little of extra work"
Otto:"ugr they keep moking me yeah I need it was is the job"
He was just looking at carriage not giving attention to subaru
Subaru:"well just a quick ride to the sanctuary nice fast and simple"
Otto:"i can't I need to stay here to sell my oíl to lord rosewall"
Subaru:"oíl? Well i'm pretty sure we already had enough for the year"
Otto:"look I bought it just before the price drop I can't predict the future"
As he looked at Subaru his expression went from anger to fear.
Otto:"you you are natsuki subaru slayer of archbishops and mabeasts"
Subaru:"im subaru alright I don't know where did got those titles"
Otto:"you killed the archbishop of lust who was a big dragon then you literally killed the white whale with your own hands and then proceeded to kill another archbishop ALL IN THE SAME WEEK. sorry but there no sane person who would go with lunatic like you"
Subaru:"oh well it appears I had to get to rosewall on foot well I tell him I arrived late because a merchant with carriage full of useless oíl refused to give the ride oh well nice to meet you"
Otto :"Wait you you are going to see lord rosewall"
Subaru:"yeah he going to be mad about me being late but hey he will understand that a merchant wanted to slow down all the same"
Otto:"ok ok you can stop the black mail I will take you"
Subaru:"you will cool man I knew that I could count with after all us lunatic must stay together"
Otto:"I'M NOT CRAZY"
Subaru:"but there no a sane person that would go with me"
Otto:"i you please can we just go"
Subaru :"very well"
Subaru had the feeling this was the beginning of a beautiful friendship while Otto felt a shiver down his spine that was going to suck.
In the mansion

As ram told them rosewall wanted them to meet in the sanctuary they already had anything ready for the trip it only less was for subaru to arrive with a carriage what ram saw arriving was old carriage full of oíl
Ram:"barusu why the carriage is full oíl"
Subaru:" you told to get carriage and this was the cheape I mean the best"
Ram:"since when money is an issue to barusu"
Subaru:"since I got in debt with one of the dragon candidates and best merchant in history"
Emilia:"subaru really admires lady anastasia"
She said with a little jealous in her tone not really knowing why she felt that way
Rem:"actually lady anastasia requested that subaru promotes her business everytime he mention her name"
Ram:"that woman greed knows no limit"
After that their talk sponsored by the anastasia camp all of them parted to sanctuary passing time discussing whatever topic came to their minds
Subaru:"who would you think would win fight puck or white whale"
Rem:"Rem has only seen the white whale in action so rem bets for the whale"
Ram:" anything that lets be killed by barusu must be really weak so my vote is for puck"
Emilia:"i have a similar reason to rem im only seen puck so my vote is for puck"
Subaru:"so we are in a tie I know hey Otto who do you think that could win a great mabeast or a great spirit"
Otto:"does the spirit knows magic"
Emilia:"he is one of the bests"
Otto:"the spirit wins more variety in attacks"
Subaru:"urg we been out voted rem"

Before ending her sentence Emilia fell losing his conscience scaring everybody it was made worse by their carriage being stop by someone
???:"alright ass holes get heck out carriage if you want to live"
Subaru seeing Emilia in danger went into killer mode preparing the corruption but it was stopped by Rem who apparently knew who the hell this guy was.
Ram:"Garfiel calm down we are us"
Garfiel:"oh hey ram how is it going I was just doing my duty as the fang of the sanctuary"
The boy had blonde hair green eyes an 'x' shape scar in his face he was doing poses to ram showing up muscles subaru was confused then rem whisper something to him
Rem:"Garfiel is the brother of federica he always had crush on ram"
Subaru felt bad for the boy. You didn't need to be a genius to notice that ram loved rosewall well in that World Emilia was said to be just like the devil itself so Subaru couldn't really judge Garfiel took a look to subaru.
Garfiel:"hey who the that guy with the black hair he looks suspicious"
Ram:"his name is natsuki subaru and he has been working in lord rosewall mansion for a couple of mounts"
Garfiel:"hey you natsuki you better make your claws disappear if you don't want me to teach you a lesson"
Subaru really didn't pay attention to Garfiel insults; he was making sure Emilia was fine.
Subaru:"hey Garfiel right look im just wanna make sure that Emilia is ok do you have a place where we can take her to rest"
Garfiel:"is she a half elf then she would be fine the barrier must have knock her out but you should stop changing topics and drop your weapons"
Rem:"Garfiel subaru cant take his hands off so stop asking him to do it"
Garfiel:"Wait those things aren't weapons or some kind of magic damn dude I knew the exterior had all kind freaks but you sure take the cake ok you can come but keep those things were I can see them"
As they walked they started to see a couple of houses deteriorated by the time the population seemed to be confirmed by
Demihumans of all kinds when they arrived at the house where Garfiel said that rosewall was staying they were greeted by a little girl with pointy ears and pink hair wearing a black.
??? :"Garfiel what is a warlock doing here"
Garfiel:" hey gramps ram says he works for rosewall and that he is harmless and i'm pretty sure I can take him if needed"
Ryuzu:"very well then i'm ryuzu meyer guardian of the sanctuary"
Subaru:"nice to meet you i'm subaru natsuki"
While they enter Otto went to find a place to leave his carriage upon entering they saw rosewall in bed with bandages around all his body while ram ran to see if rosewall was ok subaru who had Emilia in his arms took her to the room next so she could sleep then he entered rosewall room who was seeing both him and rem with confusion.
Subaru:"whoa ros chi what happen to you, it seems like a truck run over you"
Rosewall keep staring to subaru more specifically his claws then out of his usual clown tone he said
Rosewall:"What happen to you why do you look this way"
Subaru:"well long story short I got into a fight with an archbishop and absorbed the witch factor now and this was the result"
Rosewall:"but the sloth witch factor doesn't work like this"
Subaru alarms were about to blow up in his head rosewall mentioned sloth, ram could have told him in a letter that by the same logic ram could also add the part of the death of lust, but yet he looked like couldn't process what was happening Subaru needed to be careful with his words then ram added to conversation.
Ram:"barusu was able to say two archbishops lord rosewall, sloth and lust"
With the new piece of information rosewall calmed a little then he asked again now in his usual tone.
Rosewall:" and hooooow did end in such wiiiiiiild fight"
Subaru:"i had bad luck"
Subaru didn't want to give more information to him so he changed the subject.
Subaru :"you still had not told us what did this to you"
Rosewall:"soooooo cold are mad that I got and plan to avenge me"
Garfiel:"that idiot tried to make the trials of the sanctuary and failed"
Subaru:"trials?"
Ryuzu:"the sanctuary is protected by a barrier said barrier that keeps all demi humans in to lift the barrier someone must complete all the trials ser by the witch of greed"
Subaru:"doesn't that mean that Emilia can't leave until the trials are complete"
Ryuzu:"yes you are correct"
Subaru:"so how do face this trials is there A requisite or"
Ryuzu:"you and the girl in the other room might may be able to do it but it's going to wait until the night to take the trial"
Subaru:"well this night i'm going to take the trial then"
Ryuzu:"as you wish"
Emilia:"What happen where im I"
Emilia who just woke up was in the Door of the room
Rem:"we should begin to prepare subaru we don't what kind of test awaits you and while we are at it tell lady emilia all what happen"
Rem grabbed subaru and Emilia hand and took them away of the room
Emilia:"why rosewall was in bed?"
