I told you for the UMPTEENTH TIME, Kevin!! I am not buying a timeshare! There is no reason for it, it's a scam! And-what? We're, we're on? Oh. Oops. Ahem. Ok, so I realized I made a big mistake. I should have understood this already, but I wasn't supposed to put in those music lyrics. I messed up. Big time. Even though I did give the artists credit, the rules say specifically not to do that. I am gonna see if there is a way to do this story without the lyrics because, the way I had it set up, the music was a big part of the story. Maybe I won't get reported, but from this point forward, no more lyrics except from the public domain. Also, aside from that, I am having a bunch of different ideas for this story, and I'm not sure if I can use them all, I'm trying to set it up in a certain way, but the way I'm going with it, I might have to trash some ideas. I want to get this just right. I have a rough idea of how I want this chapter to go, and now that I think about it, since I'm going for about 3000 words a chapter, I might just get it the way I want it. Also, that big idea I mentioned at the beginning of the story? I think I might trash it. The way I was going about it might just break fanfic. Unless I am willing to lighten the load. If you knew what my idea was you would know what I mean. We will just have to see. So without any further ado, ENJOY! (It is gonna be so hard to write this without those lyrics, I was so pumped about it! SHOOT!!! Here is one last attempt to not get banned, just in case. I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THOSE LYRICS OR SONGS!!! They belong to there respective owners. Just in case, you know? Anyway, here is chapter 6.)

As it turns out, Adrien wanted to walk home, but considering the fact that he was famous, it was either ride in his limo, or get throttled by 2 hundred fans.

So they took the limo.

Brian has never been in a limo in his LIFE. It had everything you would ever need, he could sleep here if he wanted to. (Not recommended) a mini TV, a little bar where you can drink virtually anything, (except alcohol obviously) and car seats in the back and side, and they were comfier then regular ones.

"Want anything to drink?" Adrien asks as he carefully walks to the mini bar or whatever it is and pulls out a coke for himself.

"Oh, just a Sprite if you don't mind."

Adrien pulled a can of Sprite from the back of the mini bar/ whatever, sat back down and handed it to Brian. Then he opened his own can and started to drink it.

"So... You live in a mansion?" Brian asked, trying to make conversation.

"Yeah," Adrien replied, smiling kindly but rubbing his neck. "Lived there for... My whole life. I can't imagine living anywhere else. It's home."

Home. That word again. 'He would never live anywhere else.'

Brian changed the subject. "What's your favorite video game? Do you have one?"

Adrien was a little stunned by the sudden change, but adjusted quickly. "Oh, that's easy! Ultimate Mecha Strike III! Although right now I have 2. But I played 3 with my friends Max and Marinette! Marinette has to be the best Mecha Strike player out there!"

"Huh... I think I heard of it. But I never played it. It sounds awesome!"

Adrien just stared at him, wide-eyed. "You never played Ultimate Mecha Strike? You're kidding right?"

"Uh... No?"

"Brian, it's only the best fighting game out there! And that's just putting it mildly! You level up your Mecha, fight your opponents... WHO could ask for a better game?"

"Like I said, it sounds awesome! Can't wait to play it!"

"I just wish I was as good as Marinette!"

"I just wish I knew her better. But, to be frank, she didn't really seem like the gamer type."

"Honestly, it surprised me too. But she is really good, believe me. She helped Max win the Ultimate Mecha Strike III Tournament!" Adrien exclaimed.

"Wow... I really can't wait to play." Was all Brian could manage to say.

"Well, wait no longer my friend, because we're here!" The limo pulled to a stop in front of a huge mansion.

"People call it the Agreste Mansion. I just call it home." Adrien explained.

Stings. That word just stings.

But Brian had to admire that mansion. Nothing much surprises or severely impresses him often unless it's really, truly new to him, and this fit the criteria. The thing looked expensive. If I chose to describe it now, I'd be already finished with the chapter. The color was tan and cream, had shingle roofs and seemed four stories tall, at least. It was just plain ridiculous that someone would buy this! Not to mention the large fence around it. Probably to keep people from coming in. That part made sense, since Adrien was a famous model. But the mansion seemed overkill. Brian didn't say this out loud of course. Brian recently started working on which things to say and which not to say. Even he knew that THAT was one of them.

Adrien sighed. "I personally think it's a little much, but I spent my whole life here. I'm kinda used to it. But..." He paused. "I just wish that my father would loosen his grip a little. I..." He choked. Brian could tell this topic made him...Uncomfortable. Probably the wrong choice of words, but he could still tell nonetheless.

"So... Is your dad home?" Brian asked, trying to change the subject for Adriens sake. Brian didn't think about it, but that wasn't technically changing the subject.

Adrien smiled. "Oh yeah, my father's home. But it's unusual..." Adrien thinks for a second. "It's not like him to allow visitors, but he seemed to be... Perfectly fine with the idea."

"Maybe he is starting to come around?" Brian suggests.

"Maybe.." Adrien says thoughtfully.

They began to walk up to the entrance of the Agreste Mansion. Adrien presses a button by the huge door. A camera immediately pops out a hatch above the button.

"Hey Natalie! I'm here with Brian. I talked to you and Father about him?"

"Understood, Adrien." A lady responded through the speaker, who was apparently Natalie.

The gates then opened and Adrien motioned for Brian to follow him inside. Brian followed slowly behind.

The courtyard was gorgeous. I am unable to explain it in detail, but basically, think of the Garden of Eden, and multiply that beauty by 5.

Bingo.

Then they walked inside the mansion. Inside was a huge staircase at the end of the hall. The inside seemed even bigger then the outside. Everywhere seemed to be a painting, or a little statue, or something else that is priceless.

At the top of the staircase, Brian sees a well dressed man at the top of the stairs. He is standing up straight with his hands held behind his back. He has a look that is cold and unreadable, yet he nods, acknowledging Brian's presence.

"Greetings, Brian. I am Gabriel Agreste, Adriens father. Welcome to our humble home."

HUMBLE?!?! Brian thought.

"I hope you enjoy your stay with Adrien. You are from the US. Is this true?"

"Yes sir." Brian says politely.

Gabriel closes his eyes and strokes his chin thoughtfully. "Adrien, please show Brian to your room. Go ahead and enjoy yourselves."

"Um, yes Father." Adrien replies, looking at him a little strange.

Adriens room... Was INCREDIBLE! It looked like someone combined the most expensive hotel room, and decided to move in with the most expensive items a kid could want. On the shelves were dozens, no, hundreds, of video games, CDs, and movies. Brian started to think, his CD collection was impressive and all, but if he was as rich as he was, then what is he using CDs for?

He was about to ask out of curiosity, when he noticed Adriens computer. Apparently he left it on. Brian then noticed his screensaver. It seemed to be a picture of a girl with blue hair with a red and black polka dot mask and suit, throwing what seemed to be a yo-yo. It would appear and reappear at a different point on the screen. The colors sort of made him think of a...

"Is that Ladybug? The superhero you told me about?" Brian asked, gesturing at the picture.

"Huh?" Adrien replied, then saw the computer. "Aw man! I forgot to turn it off!" He rushed over and began to move the mouse, revealing the search page he was on. It was showing dozens of different Ladybug pictures. Adrien quickly turned the computer off. He turned back around in his seat, slightly embarrassed.

"So, you're a big fan huh?" Brian assumed.

"Uh, yeah, a really big fan! She is... amazing." Adrien then gets a faraway look in his eyes. Then he shakes his head back into reality. "So! Why don't we try playing that Ultimate Mecha Strike II? Since you never played?"

"Let me think about that yes!" Brian says quickly. He always said it like that when he feels like something is obvious.

So they start playing. Adrien started out easy on him, but once Brian got used to the controls, and had an understanding of how the game worked and all of that, he asked Adrien to not hold back.

"Well, you're new, I don't want to-"

"At the beginning it was fine, I was learning how to play. But now that I'm getting the hang of it, I want full throttle."

"But-"

"It's not complicated Adrien. I'll be insulted if you do hold back. Give it your all."

"Well, alright..."

Brian chooses the Mecha IRON, which kind of looked like the Iron Giant from the movie, while Adrien chose NADO3, which looked like a black cat with green eyes.

They both begin their battle at level 1. It didn't last long. Adrien immediately pounded him.

"If you want I can hold back a little."

"No no no no. Don't hold back. I hate it when people do that. I'm not holding back and neither should you."

"Well, alright..." And so they continue playing.

As time goes on, Brian begans to get a little better at the game, but Adrien is still beating him almost every time. Brian doesn't notice though, he is having too much fun.

As they are playing, Adrien asks, "So... What do you think of Sabrina?"

"What do you mean?" Brian replies.

"What do you think of her? Is she nice? Do you consider her a friend?"

"Well... I definitely consider her a friend, that's for sure. And she is very nice too! It's hard to believe she hangs out with someone like Chloé!"

Adrien sighs, and pauses the game. "You know, I'll admit Chloé can be a prick sometimes, but I know her. She is my best friend. Once you get to know her, deep down inside, she is a good person."

Inside what? The core of the Earth??? Brian thought. He doesn't say this out loud though.

"I'm just asking you, be patient with her. Get to know her."

If she will let me, Brian thought. Even though this time maybe he should have, he didn't say this out loud either.

"Yeah, ok." Brian said doubtfully.

"So... About Sabrina... Do you, well, you know... Like her?" Adrien tried to ask casually.

Brian attempted to avoid the question. "WOAH!!! Is that LADYBUG on your window?!?"

"REALLY???" Adrien turned to look, only to find it was an actual ladybug on his window.

"BRIAN!!!" Adrien shouted and turned to face him, only now Brian had unpaused the game and started beating Adrien's Mecha.

"No fair!" Adrien said, but he was smiling and playfully pushing Brian.

"Hey, you're the one that wasn't paying attention! Why are you blaming me for your mistakes??" Brian joked.

They kept playing for an hour or so, eventually getting tied. Brian learns fast. Then Adrien paused the game.

"Sorry, I gotta use the bathroom." Adrien said, getting up from the couch.

"No problem. Go ahead." Brian replied.

Adrien started for the bathroom door, then stopped. He turned to face Brian and said, "You know, you never did answer my question."

"About what?"

"You know what. But you don't have to answer. After all, it's your business, not mine. I was just curious."

Brian ponders that for a moment. Finally he says, "I really don't know how I feel about her. She is very nice and sweet, and... She seems to understand me. But... I just met her. I wanna get to know her more before anything else."

Adrien nods and smiles. "Yeah. That makes sense. Don't wanna rush anything." He turns to head for the bathroom.

"Hold on!" Brian says quickly. Adrien turns back around. Brian says slowly, "You... You wouldn't happen to know why Sabrina isn't really happy about the prom, would you?"

"Um..." Adrien thinks a moment. "Actually I do."

"Really?! Could you tell me?!"

"I...I don't think I should."

"Oh come on!"

Adrien says seriously, "Look, if she hasn't told you- have you asked her?"

"Well..." Brian hesitates a moment. "Yes, but she wouldn't tell me."

"Then I won't tell you either. I'm sorry. It's up to her, not me." And with that, Adrien finally goes inside the bathroom.

Brian sighs. He would love to know the reason why. It probably wasn't as big a deal as he was making it out to be. But still...

Then he hears a door open, and he turns around.

It was Gabriel.

"Hello there." He says casually, yet still with that cold, unreadable look on his face. He looks around. "Is my son in here?"

"He uh, went to the bathroom sir." Brian says politely.

"Hm. Very well." He sits down at the piano, although he doesn't begin to play. Instead, he shifts the chair to face Brian. "The US... What was it like over there?"

Ooof. He didn't like talking about this, but he didn't feel like refusing him. "Um... Where do I start?"

"How about your friends over there? Did you have many friends?"

Suddenly he wanted to talk even less. "Well yeah, uh... I would say a good few."

"Name a few." Gabriel pressed.

"Well... I guess there was Joey... Carl... I would say one of my closest is Henry..."

"How is Henry your closest friend?"

Brian started to choke. "Most of my friends... Never really talked to me as much as I'd like them to... But Henry was different... He... He actually talked to me and answered my texts..."

"Does he still?"

"Well...No..."

"Why not?"

"His...his number changed... He never got the chance to give me his new number..."

"How come?"

Brian started to tear up. "Because... We...We moved..."

"Brian...Just to clarify, Henry changed his number, am I correct?"

"Y-yes..."

"Nothing about the rest of his phone? The rest of his phone stayed the same?"

"Yes..."

"Brian, has it ever occurred to you that this Henry you speak of always had the ability to text you?"

"W-what?" Brian looked at Gabriel, confused. "H-he changed h-his number-"

"But you didn't change yours." Gabriel finished. "He didn't remove your number from his phone. He didn't get a new phone and lose all of his data. He just changed his number. So your number should still be in his contacts, correct?"

Brian stayed silent.

"Am I correct, Brian?"

"...Yes..." Brian said finally, in a voice you could hardly hear.

"Do you know what that means, Brian?"

Brian knew exactly what it meant. Tears began to trickle down his face. His lip began to quiver.

"It means..." Brian began.

"... That Henry chose not to text you." Gabriel finished.

That did it. Brian shot off the couch and ran for the door at the speed of light.

At that moment, Adrien just left the bathroom. He looked around, and he saw his father sitting at the piano.

"Where's Brian?"

Gabriel stands up and says, "He decided he had to leave."

"Without saying goodbye, or anything? That doesn't seem like him."

"Well, his parents called him. They told him to come home right away."

"Oh. Well he could have knocked at my door or something."

"Maybe. But he didn't. I'm sorry."

"Thanks Father." Adrien sighs and goes to turn off his console.

Brian runs out of the Mansion and through the doors as fast as his legs can carry him. He didn't wanna go home. Not the US. Not the apartment. Neither one of those places mattered to him anymore. Right now he just wanted to go where there was no more pain. No more lies. No more suffering. He just wanted to go somewhere that was safe.

Gabriel goes into the elevator that is hidden behind a large painting. The doors close.

He wanted to go somewhere where no one could find him. Where no one can pick him up, say "I'm here." And then be gone the next day. Voices kept ringing in his head as he cried while running.

"Don't you get it?!? You're an even bigger idiot then I thought. You don't belong here, Ryan."

"I know you didn't wanna leave your friends, or acquaintances..."

"Well, he is definitely not MY friend, and he isn't yours either!"

"It means..."

"That Henry chose not to text you."

He collapses in the middle of the sidewalk.

Gabriel walks out of the elevator and into the room. He pulls out a kind of pen.

"Nuroo, DARK WINGS RISE!"

He transforms into Hawk Moth. The large window opens.

"Akuma...It's time."

The Akuma on top of the Eiffel Tower flutters its wings and flies in the direction not to far from the Agreste Mansion.

Brian has never run so far so fast. He is sick of this. He is sick of all of this. He wants the pain, the suffering, for it all to end. He didn't wanna go home.

He wanted it gone.

He can't stop crying for the longest time. Suddenly his tears clear up. He had a sudden cold feeling. It was almost...Welcoming. A kind of warm and cold...

Darkness.

A purple laser like silhouette appears in front of his face. Then he hears a voice.

"Pain, suffering, it seems like that's all you know. No one else seems to care. In fact, they seem to be the cause of most of it. But you can trust me. I will be here until the end. I am Hawk Moth. I will give you the power to make people know your pain. Perhaps even get an eye for an eye. Your heart will soon be restored. Just one, no, two, things I need in return...

Armageddon!"

Geez. That was darker than I intended. But I love it so much. I was originally gonna call him "R " and he would have been a combination of a bunch of different artists, but for obvious reasons, I couldn't so I didn't. So please don't report me I'm sorry. I'm making up for it now. Now I will be busy soon so I can't promise the next chapter will come very soon I was barely able to do this one. So I'll will get it when I can. PEACE!!
