Ahem. Oh wait...My uh, my cord got uh disconnected, let me just uh... Fix this mic here...Ah ha! There! Now, first of all, I would have loved to make a couple of adjustments near the ending of the last chapter, just add a few more minor details. Buuuut it's too late now. Aside from that, I'm happy with the results! Not much else to say except I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Ladybug observed her Lucky Charm even further. A bottomless cup. She stuck her fingers inside of it. Naturally, they came out the other side.

"What does this mean?" She wondered out loud.

She stuck the cup inside her belt. She will have to figure it out later. Armageddon was still out there doing God knows what. Frankly, she didn't want to know. She didn't want to fight him anymore after seeing what he can do.

Then she looked at Cat Noir. He was still...

"I have to fix this." She said out loud. "If not for Paris...For you."

She began to swing her yo-yo to start swinging. But before she did, she took one more look at Cat Noir. She whispered, "I promise, I will be back."

Then she began swinging, searching for Armageddon. She didn't even know the reason he was Akumatized. How was she expected to know where he was now?

Why was he Akumatized? She wondered. He was so...Joyful. Funny. Happy. What reason would he have to be Akumatized?

Then she remembered when he was introduced to the class. He choked when his home was brought up. He had to excuse himself for a few minutes. Maybe that had something to do with it?

Knowing the reason might help her defeat Armageddon. She continued to ponder this. She also thought of when he was put in the back of the class. Chloé ended up getting smart with him. Although he did put a fun spin on this, maybe it hurt him more than people realized. Or maybe she did more behind peoples backs.

Maybe she should find her and see for herself. It wasn't much, but it was all she had to go on. If what she suspected was true, then she had to find her...Before he did... Or worse...

Maybe he already did.

Chloé Bourgeois was talking to her Dad, Mayor Bourgeois, on her phone.

"Yes, Daddy, I know. But I NEED IT. I don't wanna hear about what XY would think about interrupting his tour. I suppose I could always call Mommy. I bet SHE wouldn't...That's what I thought. Now for the-"

Suddenly, Armageddon appeared right in front of her, leaning against the wall of a nearby building.

"Hi... Remember me?" Armageddon asks casually, grinning.

She says into her phone, "Daddy, I'm gonna have to call you back." She hangs up and observes Armageddon further, squinting.

"Ryan... Is that you?" Chloé asked precariously.

Armageddon's body began to steam slightly, but he took a deep breath and replied, "My name was Brian, but now it's Armageddon."

"Riiiight." Chloé said, slightly unsure. "So, what exactly do you want?"

He got up from the wall he was leaning on and looked at her seriously. "I will make this perfectly clear, Chloé. For the few days I have known you, I think I have you figured out. You're spoiled, obnoxious, selfish, totally devoid of any charm that matters in life, egotistical, and hardheaded. And that's putting it mildly."

"I am NOT egotistical!" Chloé says indignantly.

Armageddon begins to steam. "You just proved you are. Frankly it doesn't matter. What matters is how you have treat people. And me." He steps towards Chloé. "Apparently you don't know the kind of pain you have inflicted towards people, towards ME."

"Ugh! As IF!" Chloé replies obnoxiously, rolling her eyes. "The way YOU have acted, I doubt you got a scrape or bruise!"

Armageddon simply looks away. "You once told me I didn't belong. You remember that? Those simple words...Hurt. More than you know. Do you know why?"

Chloé shakes her head.

"Because someone told me those same words before. Do you know who?"

"Now HOW would I know THAT?!" She shouts indignantly.

He just replies calmly, with a burning fire in his eyes,

"Brian...Told me those words everyday."

"I thought you were Brian-er, was Brian." Chloé asked.

Armageddon steamed even more. "I was, just think with that thick skull of yours for a second. What do you think I mean?"

Chloé thought for a moment, then realized.

Armageddon nodded. He saw it in her eyes that she had figured it out. "That's right. I...Told myself those things over and over. And when you said it, it just reinforced it." He began to hover over her. "But now, you will truly understand my fear...My pain."

"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Ladybug shouted as she swung to the ground right beside them, her yo-yo at the ready.

Armageddon merely grinned at her. "Look who joined the party. Even brought her costume. How's your friend?" He asked mockingly.

Ladybugs fists clenched tightly. If she wasn't wearing her suit, you would see that her knuckles were turning white.

"Where is he, I wonder?" He asked.

Ladybug didn't answer. She only glared at him, ready to strike.

But then he nods his head. "I see...On top of the Eiffel Tower."

Ladybug gasps. "How did you-"

"The eyes are the window to the soul." He answered casually. "But never mind that. We have other business to discuss. Like, say, oh I don't know, YOUR worst nightmare?" He sprinted in front of her, but she stands her ground.

He starts to punch her, but Ladybug dodges and kicks him in the ribs. Then she flings her yo-yo at Armageddon, but he flies in the air, causing her to miss. Then he lunges forward and grabs her, then flies her into the air. After that, he throws her back down with incredible strength. Once she lands, the ground beneath her crumbles, as if an anvil was dropped, only larger.

Armageddon slowly hovers back down. "Had enough yet?" He hissed as he slowly burns into a flame.

Ladybug slowly recovers and winces as she attempts to get back up. "I... gehh...I..." Finally she manages to get up on her feet. "I am just getting started."

Armageddon burns into a flame, looking very angry, and asked, "Can't you see it's one-sided?!? You cannot defeat me!"

Ladybug, holding her side, replies, "I won't rest, until peace is restored in Paris, until YOUR restored."

"I do not NEED restoring!" Armageddon replies angrily.

"Yes you do! Look around you!" She gestures at all the different distruction he has caused. Different people he has attacked mentally and buildings he has set on fire. "This isn't you! And if you don't know that, then I'm worried!"

"You don't know me! And what I'm doing is justice!"

"No...It's revenge."

"Even so, it will restore my heart! My soul will be satisfied! I will be at peace!" Armageddon yelled back.

"You don't believe that." Ladybug said simply.

"I don't need you to preach to me!" He replied as he burned even more, hotter than ever. Thunder rumbled as his rage grew, and then he charged towards her, and then he halted suddenly.

"Why am I throwing my anger at YOU, when I know how to hurt you the most?" Then Armageddon disappeared.

"Where did he-" Then Ladybug realized where he was going.

"I have to get to Cat Noir, before he does!" She shouted as she was about to swing off.

"Wait! Ladybug!" Chloé stopped her. She held out her Lucky Charm. "You dropped it when you fell. You think you will be alright?"

Ladybug nodded, although she was still rubbing her side. "I'll be fine. Thanks." She turned to swing off again.

"Wait." This time Chloé said it more quietly.

Ladybug began to look impatient. "Chloé, whatever it is you have to say, you better say it."

"Ladybug... I think I understand what your Lucky Charm means."

"His name is Brian, Chloé! And he isn't a stalker!" Sabrina had said.

"You don't know that! Oh, that reminds me, there's this riddle I can't figure out." Chloé had replied as they went down the stairs.

"Really? Tell me! I bet I can solve it for you!" Sabrina said excitedly. She loved riddles. She had a whole book of riddles. She didn't open it up as much as she used to, but whenever someone asked, she would be all open for one.

"Okay, Sabrina. 'Revenge is a bottomless cup.' What does that mean?" Chloé asked.

Sabrina thought a moment. "Well, first of all Chloé, it's a metaphor. Not a riddle."

"Ugh! Whatever! I'll call it what I want! What does it mean, Sabrina?"

Sabrina was silent for a moment. "It's really not that hard, Chloé."

"Are you saying I'm DUMB?!?" Chloé asked angrily.

"Nonono I'm not saying that, it's just...I don't see how you can't understand it."

"Just explain it to me. Please." Chloé responds simply and obnoxiously.

Finally Sabrina looked at her and asked, "Why didn't you introduce me to Brian?"

"What does that have to do with anything?" Chloé asked in her 'Chloé like' demeanor.

"Everything. We're best friends, aren't we?"

"Ugh! DUH!"

"Then why wouldn't you-"

"I don't have to explain myself to YOU!"

Sabrina just stared at her, hurt and disgusted. "I don't see how we can be best friends the way you treat me. And I think I understand why you don't understand the metaphor."

"Yeah? WHY?"

Sabrina took a deep breath. She never said this to anyone, let alone Chloé. "You're selfish. You're to hard headed to even think about what the...'Riddle' means. You don't want to know. I am not gonna explain it to you, Chloé. You have to figure it out yourself."

Sabrina began to walk away, then stopped. "Who told you that metaphor?"

"Ryan."

Sabrina turned and glared at Chloé. "Get his name right." But then she smiled to herself. "Huh. He came up with that. He really is something."

Then she walked away.

Chloé just stood there alone.

At the time, she couldn't figure it out. But the words Armageddon used... His heart would be restored. His soul would be satisfied. He would be at peace.

Then she thought of the bottomless cup. You can't fill it up. How can you be satisfied with a cup that can't even get half full? You can't even refill it.

She finally understood it.

Chloé went ahead and explained what happened. What Brian told her at the stairs. And what she believed it meant.

Ladybug pondered this. "Bottomless cup...That's an interesting analogy. But how am I supposed to use this against Armageddon? I don't even know where his Akuma is!"

Chloé thinks a moment. "Maybe it's trying to tell you something in particular?

Ladybug looks at her curiously. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, maybe it's not necessarily telling you how to fight him. Maybe something else that is equally important or something like that."

Ladybug thinks a little more, then finally says, "Or maybe...It's trying to tell Armageddon something."

Armageddon was flying at top speed to the Eiffel Tower. He wasn't in a rush. This was part of his plan.

He wanted Ladybug to be able to catch up. But he also needed to get to Cat Noir first. Fortunately, for him, he could easily outrun Ladybug without overdoing it.

Then Armageddon arrived at the Eiffel Tower. He hovered for a second before landing on top of it where Cat Noir was located. He slowly sauntered over to him and then picked up gently. Cat Noir was still muttering nonsense, scared stiff.

"Don't worry, Ladybug will be here soon." Armageddon said simply. Then, speaking of which, he heard Ladybugs yo-yo wrap around the side of the building.

He turned around and there she was, just now landing. But what he didn't expect was...Chloé?

"Why is she here?" Armageddon asked.

"She just has a couple of things to say to you." Ladybug replies.

"I don't want to hear what she has to say!" Armageddon says angrily, beginning to flame.

"Yeah well, you will have to deal with it!" Chloé says insistently.

"ENOUGH!!!" Armageddon bursts into flames. He grabs Cat Noir by the collar of his suit and places his own hand near his head. A fireball begins to form from his hand.

"What are you-" Ladybug starts.

"Never mind what I do." Armageddon interrupts. "If you don't hand over your Miraculous, you won't have a friend to save."

"You wouldn't."

"I would."

Ladybug tries to think quickly. If she hands it over, they will all lose. But...She couldn't let her partner-her friend- die over this. She reaches for her earrings.

But then she heard Chloé shout, "Is that really what you want?!?" Ladybug turned and looked at Chloé in surprise. Chloé just winks at her and gestures to the cup attached to her belt. Ladybug hands it to her, unsure of what she is doing.

"What do you mean by that?" Armageddon hisses.

"Is this really what you want? The earrings? If so that's ridiculous. Utterly-"

"Yeah yeah, 'utterly ridiculous'! Heard that enough to last a lifetime! But what's your point?!"

"I know what you really want!"

"Yeah? WHAT?"

"Revenge."

Then Ladybug begins to understand. Its risky, a very small chance it would actually work. But it was all they had. At least he was distracted from Cat Noir for a while.

Armageddon just stares at her. Finally he replies slyly, "I'm listening."

"You want me? YOU GOT ME. Just let Cat Noir go, and Ladybug won't make anymore trouble. And neither will I."

"Chloé!" Ladybug whispers.

"It's ok. I know what I'm doing...What I'm risking." Chloé says calmly, but not looking in her eyes.

Armageddon seems tempted by the offer. He looks at Cat Noir. Finally he puts him down. A laser mask appears in front of his face.

"NO! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!?!" Hawk Moth demands.

"Getting what you owe me. An eye for an eye."

"You will get it, if you listen to me. Get me those Miraculous!"

"I have nothing more to say to you."

Armageddon sprints over to Chloé and grabs her by the neck, holding her up in the air. Then he looks her in the eyes. "Your greatest fear. What is it?"

Then he sees it. Wait...

It's...

Fear of...

Loneliness...

People not liking her...

Alone...

Utterly alone.

"Your fear...It's the same as mine." Armageddon says quietly.

Chloe, although she was practically choking, holds up the cup. "You told me once..." she said quietly, "That revenge...Was like this cup."

Armageddon takes the cup from her and observes it. His fiery eyes suddenly get wide.

"A bottomless cup."

"I didn't understand it at first...But I think I do now. You can't fill up a bottomless cup. You can't even get it half full. It is-"

"Pointless."

"If you still want revenge, I won't blame you. But I warn you, I don't think you'll be satisfied."

Armageddon stares at her. His eyes began to burn. He reaches his forefingers towards her head.

Then he gets the hair out of her eyes, and puts her down. A mask silhouette appeared in front of him again. He said,"Hawk Moth, you lied to me."

"NO!! THEY ARE THE ONES THAT ARE LYING!!!"

"If that is true, why did they use my own analogy against me? I'm done Hawk Moth!"

"I DECIDE WHEN YOUR DONE!!!"

"Not anymore!!!" Armageddon burst into flames and yelled at the top of his voice.

"AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Thunder roared and the storm above got angrier then ever.

Suddenly, something slowly began to part from his chest, it looked sort of like...

"An Akuma!" Ladybug shouted. But where was it, in his chest? No.

"It was in his heart!"

"AAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!!! GET THE AKUMA NOW!!!!!" Armageddon shouted. "I CANT DO THIS FOREVER!!!!"

"Say no more! TIME TO DE-EVILIZE!!!" She swung her yo-yo towards the Akuma and captured it. "Gotcha!"

Then she opened her yo-yo. "Bye bye little butterfly!" She said as it flew away peacefully.

Then she reached her hand out to help Chloé get on her feet. She accepted it gladly. Then Chloé dusted herself off and handed Ladybug her Lucky Charm.

Ladybug nodded at her and then shouted, "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!!!" She threw the Lucky Charm into the air, and it transformed into thousands of ladybugs and they flew into different directions.

It was the most beautiful thing you would have seen all day. The storm disappeared, buildings were restored, and people woke up from their nightmares, not remembering a thing about them.

And then Cat Noir came to his senses as well. He got up, looked around, and asked, "What happened? How did I get here?"

"CAT NOIR!!!!" Ladybug yelled and hugged him like she never hugged before.

"WOAH, my lady! It's...it's alright... it's ok..." Cat Noir said as he hugged her back. She was upset. She was crying.

"What happened?" He repeated.

She just looked up at him. "Let's talk about that later." She looked at Brian, who was back to his normal self, asking the same questions Cat Noir was. Right now, she had questions. What happened? Why did he get Akumatized?

What can we do to prevent that from happening again?

I love this chapter not gonna lie. I am nearing the end of the story I was hoping it would be 10 chapters but maybe not. Oh well. I was trying really hard to figure out what to put in this one, but it took so long! I had to figure out Armageddons plot and what ladybug would and BLAH BLAH BLAH. Anyways, we are almost finished the next chapter will come very easily and who knows? Maybe I will have a tenth chapter! Anyways, PEACE!!!
