This is an announcement, not a new chapter.

Well uhmmm, wow! April 2022, would you believe that I am still around and 'kind of' fine physically? No, I didn't die, but went AWOL for...

*Checks last update and calendar*

Huh, 17-18 months?

...

...

...

HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT HAS DEFINITELY BEEN A GOD DAMN WHILE!

So... Where do I begin?

*Picks up the script I'm handed over by someone else*

Hmm, this piece of paper says that apparently, I have been pissed at numerous things, including regularly scheduled appointments left and right, for medical reasons, am still under medication and will probably be for a long time if not until my dying day, a hard-drive failure which costed me several hard written chapters, and multiple writers' block.

I tried, and I can't emphasize this enough, TRIED other stories about different universes. But none of them have lead anywhere up to now. Naruto, Akame Ga Kill, Dark Souls, Nier Automata (Serioulsy, if you haven't already, PLAY THOSE GAMES!), and other fandoms. The easiest thing I've been able to do, ironically enough, was reaching dead ends far more often than reaching satisfactory results -_- .

Which leads me to what I am going to do next. Well, as you may have seen, some few tags were changed, and even the title of the story has been slightly modified, being part of my keikaku. This may be a move that will end up biting me in the ass later on, but I have made the executive decision to split this story in two, or several parts, 3 maximum.

So far, Part 1 is comprised of 24 chapters. To put it into perspective, funnily enough, an anime season normally is made of 12 episodes. So in a way, an anime episode might be longer to watch from beginning to end than a chapter would be to read. But if we talk about two chapters of seemingly equals length, then, it even things out, more or less. On top of that, with my 'middle schooler' level of english, it's pretty easy and fast read, without hopefully sacrificing too much of the initial plot.

There are so many times where I regret being bad at drawing, because if I had a decent enough level, I would consider making a light novel of sorts. The subtle movements of the characters, bodily or facial, can sometimes convey so many more emotions than words alone. A simple glance for example, or a twitching of fingers can tell exactly what a character wants to say, to do, tell an entire story, while words are so... restrictive, I believe.

Buuuut unfortunately, I have to make do with what I have. Beggars can't be choosers after all, right?
