Chapter 8: It's not that I don't want to sit with you...
Edward Quickly grabbed his things and went out the classroom. "Wait!" Edward called out but Hadrian wanted to be alone right now he kept going trying to keep distance from Edward.
But Edward catches up, Hadrian wasn't surprised at all but got startled as Edward stands in front of Hadrian, which the smaller vampire gasps a bit stopping his tracks as Edward blocks his path to Math, "Hey, what's the hurry?" The taller vampire asked.
Hadrian quickly recovered sighing "First day at school want to get to my last class." Hadrian said sweetly but also sarcastically which Edward took a hint of annoyance and gave a small chuckle.
"Hey you'll get over there on time don't worry." Edward assured the boy "Yeah thanks." Hadrian said quickly before going around Edward walking towards the end of the hall, he almost turned left until Edward again catches up going in front of him with his Vampire speed, and Hadrian gave a small groan, Edward gave a small chuckle "What?!?" Hadrian said with gritted teeth. "Let me walk you, your heading towards Math right?" Edward asked and Hadrian gave him a curious look "Right." Hadrian echoed the taller Vampire. "Then let's walk together I have the same class." Edward said with a small smirk Hadrian was about to refuse before the girl from Earlier, Bella was the name came out the classroom "Edward?... Edward we need to talk!" Bella called out her eyes scanning around the whole hallway trying to look for him.
Edward then looked at Hadrian with a bit of annoyance and deviation in his eyes "Please can I walk with you?" Edward asked a bit more of a beg than a Question, seeing devistation Hadrian let his sweet side get the best of him his eyes softened and he sighed in defeat "Alright." Hadrian said making Edward grin.
Edward took Hadrian's elbow gently not caring if the young vampires skin was cold temperature from the touch, pulling Hadrian with him turning to the left but before turning to the left "Edward there you are, we need to ta- why are you with that new kid?" Bella asked as she walked towards the two Vampires her eyes burned in fury.
"We need to go now!" Edward said still grabbing Hadrian's elbow he pulled the him to their left turn then ran with his Vampire speed, Hadrian was running with him using his vampire speed, their speed was equal.
"In here!" Edward said Quickly pulling Hadrian inside a small room, it was too small that Hadrian was too close to Edward, their chest almost touching, Edward still had his hand on Hadrian's elbow then his other hand some how traveled to Hadrian's waste.
They heard rapid footsteps coming this way but faded to another direction, "She's gone, can we please go to Class now?" Hadrian whispered making Edward chuckle, "Class is right in that corner Edward called then Hadrian looked at the hole of light groaning.
Edward then slide out still pulling Hadrian holding his elbow, the two then walked towards the door in a corner finally to their destination, "You can let go now." Hadrian told the older boy. Edward gave a chuckle then let go of his elbow the two was the last ones in the class.
When they opened the door walking inside the classroom a teacher walked towards the vamps "Mr Cullen you just switched to this class, I expect you to be in time!" The teacher scoffed the older boy. Edward gave a polite smile "My apologies Mr. Rudolph, I was helping Mr black go where he needed to go because he got lost." Edward lied
Hadrian looked at the taller boy {Smooth Edward, very smooth.} Hadrian thought to himself then looked at the teacher "Is this true mr. Black?" Mr. Rudolph asked looking straight at the young vampire, Hadrian didn't fully turn but his eyes narrowed to Edward, Edward did the same and gestured his eyebrows, Hadrian rolled his eyes then sighed looking back at the teacher "Yes, I was lost a big school and I'm actually new here." Hadrian said, Mr Rudolph nodded his head "Hmm very well I'll let you guys off the hook this time, next time it won't be too easy!" Mr Rudolph warned the two before walking back to his desk.
Hadrian and Edward walked towards tables and sat next to each other, Hadrian took out everything he needed for the class then got up and gave a slip to Mr. Rudolph, "Can you please sign this?" Hadrian asked politely Mr Rudolph smiled and grabbed the slip he took out a pen from his shirt pocket then quickly signed it and gave it back to Hadrian, "Here you are." The teacher exclaimed giving back the slip "Thank you sir." Hadrian said before walking back to his seat.
Mr Rudolph then began his class as the students filled up the classroom, Hadrian began writing notes.
Class was almost finished, and Hadrian wrote lots of notes filling up his notebook they were asked to do a question by themselves, in the middle of thinking it was interrupted as he felt a small nudge on his elbow and then a small piece of paper slide in front of him, Hadrian looked at Edward, but Edward was looking straight at the teacher acting like he was focusing
Hadrian rolled his eyes then went back to his space he looked down at the paper hesitantly he took it and opened then read it
'Sit with me at lunch?'
Hadrian then looked back at Edward, who was smiling as he faked read his book, Edwards eyes looked up at Hadrian with a smirk he then gestures his head to the side pointing at the door. Hadrian gave a small smile and shook his head No' Hadrian then look back paying attention to class. He wasn't big on sitting with anybody for that manner besides he had friends maybe they wanted to sit with them.
Edward gave a small frown then look down on his book fake reading while writing something else with his vamp speed. Hadrian kept writing notes paying attention to the class, it was now 5 minutes until math class is over and then Hadrian felt a small nudge on his elbow again he looked at Edward then another paper slip in front of him.
'Why not?'
Hadrian read and then sighed softly he look back at the older Vampire; Edward continue to fake read, he felt that Hadrian was looking, still in the same position his gold eyes narrowed towards Hadrian he lifted his eyebrow and tilted his head.
Hadrian look back Quickly which made Edward frown even more. Hadrian blinked he just saw golden eyes, but his eyes was dark brown before.
Hadrian's thoughts was interrupted by the bell ringing, "Alright guys class is over so your homework is you have to Work through the questions of page 145, write your answers and show your full work methods on a separate piece this homework is due in next lesson" Rudolph called to the students and all students but
Edward and Hadrian groan they took their leave and Hadrian gave a small grin, he really loved math in muggle world he had straight 100's but got in trouble by his so called family. Hadrian shook that thought and wrote down his homework the quickly packed up putting things in his bag and took his leave out the math class before Edward catches up.
Edward quickly packed his bags then ran out the classroom catching up to Hadrian "Hadrian" Edward called now in front of Hadrian, Hadrian looked at the taller Vamp not saying anything, "Shall I show you to the lunchroom?" Edward asked politely, The younger Vamp gave a small shrug and Edward gave a grin as they walked again together.
They headed out the corner and back before they went to math.
Awkward silence filled the hallway as they walked to the cafeteria until Edward was the first to say something "So, Why not sit with me,thought we were getting along well?" Edward asked, Hadrian then gave a small chuckle "No YOU thought were getting along I didn't think anything." Hadrian said back then walked a bit faster Edward then sighed and catches up "Alright fine." Edward said with a small smirk which Hadrian saw and rolled his eyes.
Another silence went through the hall but this time Hadrian interrupted the silence by giving a small sigh then he answered, "It's not that I don't want to sit with you..."
