- Chapter 6: Shopping Time -

=| Heroes' World |=

Nagisa had been deep in thought for the last hour. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and shorts of a darker shade and his hair was left untied, spreading across his shoulders and upper back. His expression was relaxed yet somewhat tired.

He was sitting alone in the common room of the Class 1-A dorm, as most of the others were still sleeping. He didn't feel comfortable in his bedroom because of the strange chill he kept getting lately, not to mention the fact that he couldn't shake the feeling someone or something was watching him, almost all the time.

He managed to get five out of eight hours of sleep the night before (the first three hours he was staring at the ceiling wearily), and his day to day life wasn't too hectic (minus the fact that he was stuck in another universe, but for the most part he could tell this was still Japan).

Even so, he couldn't help but feel anxious about all this, and while the students of Class 1-A did their best to make him feel welcome and at home, he still found it difficult to tell them all his worries, mostly the truth about him.

'Maybe if I explain everything to them about Korosensei and my world blowing up by the end of March...then again, I am in the future in another world...' he thought, his azure eyes staring blankly at the TV screen. It was showing an anime where some guy was a student at an elite school and was placed in the lowest class.

"Heh, I can relate," The blunet muttered half-heartedly with a light chuckle.

In the anime, the main character and his classmates were given student IDs that were also fancy smartphones.

Nagisa now watched the anime, slightly intrigued. He subconsciously fished his pocket and brought out his phone, though not as fancy as the one on TV, that didn't really matter to him as that wasn't the reason he brought it out.

The anime (along with the phones in the anime) had reminded him of how he tried countless times to call his friends and family back in his world and how every attempt had failed.

He told himself that since he was in another world (who knows how far it was from his own) and in another time period, it made perfect sense that he would have difficulty contacting someone from his world, but that didn't make it easier on him.

Usually in movies and TV shows, they'd have some special highly advanced technology that was used for otherworldly communication.

'But even if something like that did exist, where would I even get it from?' the blunet pondered, feeling like giving up. He tried calling Sugino who always answered his phone, and Nakamura, Kataoka, Yada, Fuwa and Itona, but no one picked up.

He sighed again and slipped his phone back into his pocket before returning his eyes to the anime that was surprisingly entertaining. It didn't make him feel better but at the very least, it distracted him.

The elevator bell suddenly rings. Midoriya and Uraraka walked out of the doors with messy hair. As they were walking to the kitchen to make breakfast, they noticed Nagisa watching TV. "Good morning, Nagisa!" they both chimed.

Nagisa spun his head around to see the two young heroes and smiled, "Good morning, Midoriya-san, Uraraka-san! Are you making breakfast?"

"Yeah, want some?" The brunette asked cheerfully. The blunet replied, "No thanks, I already ate breakfast."

The greenet said, "Alright then," and the two older teens went to the kitchen and make some scrambled egg and ham sandwiches.

Nagisa had been in this world for almost four days now, and he had gotten used to U.A and most of the classmates relatively quickly (even Bakugou at times which he found surprising). It was almost like he was a part of the class from the beginning. Nagisa had fit right in and while the others didn't know that he was from another world, they still got along with him swimmingly.

Still, while they were having fun, Midoriya, Aizawa, All Might and Principal Nezu were working hard to figure out the identities and goals of the people behind this. Nagisa's memories of the whole ordeal were still a bit of a jumble, but he seemed to be recovering them slowly.

Therefore, All Might had instructed Midoriya to make sure that Nagisa was at ease so he could remember things better. Having unnecessary stress would only make the situation more complicated and none of them would want that.

When they had finished their sandwiches, Uraraka went to the fridge to grab some dessert and found a few cups of pudding. She asked out, "Hey Deku-kun, Nagisa-kun, do you want some dessert?"

The greenet immediately said, "Yes, please." And the blunet felt his mouth was a bit bland, also said, "Yeah, I would like some."

As they all sat down next to each other at the couch with Nagisa in the middle, both Midoriya and Uraraka enjoyed their cups of pudding very much, but the younger teen just sat there looking at his, as he was reminded of Kayano and how much she loved pudding, as well as his feelings for her.

And that made him think about his world again and how homesick he was. His expression became sad as he stared at the pudding in front of him.

'Ugh, I hate this feeling...' Nagisa thought before sighing.

Midoriya noticed this and placed a hand on his chin, pondering, 'It's like nothing we do to cheer him up works. He'll be happy one minute and then sad the next. What am I supposed to do? There has to be something.'

Uraraka noticed Nagisa's still untouched pudding but failed to notice his expression, asked the younger teen obliviously, "Aren't you going to eat your pudding, Nagisa," catching him off guard.

Nagisa came back to his senses and eyed Uraraka before turning back to his pudding, "Oh, right!" He exclaimed as he took a bite, savouring it in his mouth.

'It tastes a bit different from the ones back home but it's still very delicious!'

While the three of them continued eating their pudding and watching TV, the rest of the class came down to the common room from both the elevator and the stairs.

Most of them walked to the kitchen to get something to eat, but Iida and Ashido noticed the other three and decided to check on them.

"Hey, whatcha guys doing!" Ashido announced behind the couch, startling all three of them. Iida said, "Ashido, don't frighten them like that!" And then he turned to the greenet, brunette and blunet, "Sorry about that, we were just trying to see what you were doing."

Midoriya then explained, "We were just eating puddings, nothing much."

"Okay, so you will be going to the shopping district with the rest of us right?" Ashido asked eccentrically.

Uraraka started to feel annoyed with that question, since the pinkette had been asking the whole class through the night, and asked back with a deadpan face, "Can we say no?"

"Nope," Ashido responded. Midoriya then replied, "Then of course we'll go."

"Great, we'll leave in one hour."

The three teens looked at each other, quickly finished their pudding and headed back to their rooms to change their clothes and fix their hair.

An hour later...

"Brother Krasil, what's your update?"

"Shiota Nagisa is still unable to reach anyone from his world, brother." The brown-haired man, Krasil said to his superior, from behind the row of trees outside the dorm building.

"Excellent. And what's his status now? What is he doing?" His superior asked.

Krasil looked out, watching the group of students leaving the dorm building.

"He appears to be going somewhere with his classmates. If I remember correctly, they had a discussion yesterday." The hiding man said, "It must be related."

"Acknowledged, follow them." The superior ordered. "I'll inform the others and our partners to meet up with you."

"Understood," Krasil replied, flew out undetected and continued shadowing the group.

=| Kiyashi Shopping District, Tokyo |=

Nagisa found his eyes everywhere when he and the class arrived at the shopping district. He had been to one back in his world but it wasn't quite as vast or impressive as this one.

'I'm starting to think everything is just better here...' Nagisa thought, sweatdropping. 'I mean, is this even Japan?'

Midoriya, who was walking next to him, chuckled at the younger boy's curiosity before hearing a loud shout.

"Why did I agree to this!?" Bakugou burst out. "Nobody told me that Shit Nerd and his best friend, Blueberry would be coming!"

"Um, yes, I did." Kirishima cut in. "Remember when I went to your room to get you earlier?"

(Flashback)

Just a few minutes before they leave, Kirishima walked up to the door of Bakugou's room and knocked three times.

He heard some yelling and some more yelling followed by groaning, and then eventually the front door unlocked and opened.

"Who's there!?" Katsuki asked rudely with a scowl, although his expression went blank when he saw who it was, "Oh, it's you Kirishima, what do you want?"

"Hey bro, we're all going to the shopping district, are you coming along?"

"Is Deku and his sidekick gonna be there?"

"Assuming that his sidekick is Nagisa, then yes they are," Kirishima responded, sweatdropping. "And they count as the whole class so, do you wanna go?"

Bakugou gave a bored look before slowly closing his door. Kirishima panicked and quickly hardened his arm before sticking it through the small opening.

"C'mon dude! Please! It'll be fun!" The red-haired teen pleaded.

"Screw you, Kirishima! I'm not fucking going so forget it!" The blond barked.

"C'mon man! Just come!"

"Never!"

Bakugou tried his hardest to push the door close but the other male's arm wasn't making it easy for him. Regardless, he wasn't giving in. There was no way in hell he was going to go to the same place as that stupid greenet and his new buddy.

He already had to see them every day! And nothing was going to change his mind.

"I'll buy you cream buns!" Kirishima bargained hopefully.

Bakugou paused in his pushing and remained quiet. Eventually, he pulled the door open again. "Fine. I'll go!"

(End of flashback)

"Oh, right, " Bakugou said, recalling what happened. "Now I remember."

"How could you forget?! That was half an hour ago!" Kirishima said.

"Shut up! Just be grateful I came!" The blond male snapped. "And you better still buy me those cream buns!"

"Yeah, yeah I know"

The rest sweatdropped.

"Anyway," Ashido brought everyone's attention to her. "Now that you guys are here! We can get started on our day of fun!" She threw her arms into the air ecstatically. "So what should we do first? Any suggestions?"

I vote the arcade!" Kaminari suggested and Jiro nodded to that, "Sounds good to me," she said.

"I was hoping we could go shopping first," Yaoyorozu said politely.

"Yeah, me too!" Hagakure waved her sleeved arm. "I wanna see how Nagisa-chan looks in a maid costume!"

"What!? No!" Nagisa squeaked, his face turning pink.

"But I wanted to go to the movies!" Uraraka whined. Kirishima agreed, "Yeah, quite a few good ones came out in cinemas recently."

"Did you losers even have anything planned or did you just come here to waste time!?" Bakugou asked impatiently.

"Bakugou's right," Iida said. "We must be more organized. We need to decide the places we are going to in an orderly sequence and how long it'll take for each activity." He announced, "We must utilize our time wisely. Fortunately, I've made a detailed planner for today-"

He was cut off as Ashido snatched his planner and tossed it into a nearby bin, "Yeah I don't think so."

"AH! Ashido!? What have you done!?" The Class President cried as he went towards the bin in a frenzy.

"We don't need some planner thing," the pinkette said nonchalantly. "It's simple." She looked at the blunet standing next to Midoriya. "We let Nagisa-chan decide."

Nagisa perked up this, "Wha...?" He pointed at himself, "Me?"

"That's right." Ashido winked at him. "Where do you wanna go first, sweetheart?"

"Oh um, well..." Nagisa glanced at his feet nervously, trying to think of where to go first. 'No pressure.' he thought, looking around the shopping district. There were three options that popped up in their previous conversation. The arcade, stores and the cinema.

He cancelled out apparel shops because he didn't want to be forced into a girly outfit again. The arcade seemed fun, but would most likely use up a large amount of energy. So, the most logical choice was the movies. He was interested in finding what the movies were like in this world and time.

"How about we go to the movies first?" Nagisa said but quickly added, "If that's okay..."

"Great! Is that cool with everyone?" Ashido asked around.

The other teens seemed fine with the suggestion. All except a certain aggressive blond.

"Hell no! I'm not going anywhere with those two!" Bakugou growled as he turned around to storm off.

"Well then, I guess you don't want those cream buns, huh Bakugou?" Kirishima smirked when his friend stopped and spun around.

"You better buy them before we go in!" The blond male threatened.

"Sure thing!"

'How in the world are those two friends?' Nagisa pondered with a sweatdrop.

=| Outside the cinema |=

"So, which movie are we watching?" Ashido asked the group.

"How about The Batman!?" Kaminari suggested excitedly. "I heard it's really great! Especially considering how horrible the last couple of movies have been."

"Hell no, I am not watching some cheap DC movie! I wanna watch Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings a.k.a the better movie!" Sero countered. "As a devoted Marvel fan, it is my duty to support the fandom and not waste my time with something that's going to suck."

"Why don't we just watch Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness then?" Ashido asked, "It's out right now right?"

But I haven't watched Shang Chi yet!"

"Not my problem Sero." The pinkette struck him down.

Kaminari snickered, "Yeah Mr. Devoted Marvel Fan!"

"Shut up!" Sero snapped at him. He turned to the redhead who sweatdropped at them. "Kirishima! Tell Kaminari that he's wasting his time with DC and he should just switch to Marvel already!"

"Are you guys seriously having this argument again?" Jiro asked, twirling her earlobe unamused.

"Does it really matter which one is better?" Kirishima said, scratching the back of his head. "Can't we all agree to disagree?"

"NO!" Kaminari and Sero both yelled at him before glaring back at each other.

"So I guess we're ruling out DC and Marvel movies then," Yaoyorozu said. "Any other suggestions?"

"I was thinking about watching Encanto, kero," Asui suggested.

"For real? I'm not watching some dumb Disney movie!" Bakugou said.

"It's not dumb," Todoroki said monotonously, "The ratings are rather good and many commenters said there is a good meaning behind it. Not to mention in the American version, the main character is voiced by Stephanie Beatriz."

"Stephanie Beatriz? The old hag from Brooklyn nine-nine, voices some child in a kids' cartoon?" Bakugou scoffed. "How lame."

"Are you insulting Disney movies, bro?" Kirishima asked in an uncharacteristic tone, staring at the blond with dark eyes and a shaded face.

Bakugou looked at Kirishima incredulously, completely taken aback by his friend's behaviour.

"Take it back."

"What?"

"Did I stutter?" Kirishima spat, with a dark aura emanating around him.

Bakugou almost gulped, "I'm...I'm sorry."

"I didn't ask for an apology. I told you to take back what you said," Kirishima growled. "Now."

"Disney isn't dumb..." Bakugou muttered.

"What was that bro? I didn't catch that."

"Disney isn't dumb!" The blond teen said louder this time.

"Good!" Kirishima beamed, a wide grin spreading across his face.

'Wow...' Nagisa thought, blinking in surprise. 'Kirishima-san's really something!'

"Did you get that on camera Jiro?" Kaminari asked, trying to contain his laughter.

Jiro covered her mouth as she nodded, holding her phone up. "I totally did!"

"So other than Encanto, any other suggestions?" Hagakure asked for the sake of changing the subject.

"Could we watch Godzilla vs Kong?" Koda suggested quietly, "I heard it turned out very well, and I wanna see how the two titans' conflicts would turn out."

Everyone looked at the rocky faced boy with silence, causing a nervous sweat to trace down his forehead.

"S-sorry..." He muttered shyly, " it's just that I like King Kong."

"It's alright, Koda-kun" Uraraka comforted him.

"Guess Rock Face actually has some taste," Bakugou said, having recovered from earlier. "Maybe we should watch that one."

"He must like King Kong a lot to suggest the movie," Todoroki said.

"There's no such thing as a person who doesn't like King Kong or Godzilla, Half-and-Half," Bakugou stated.

"Yeah, I'm gonna file that under debatable."

"I'm gonna file you under shut up!"

"Anyway," Ashido piped in before the two boys could start arguing. "Is everyone okay with Godzilla vs Kong?"

Everyone else contemplated on watching the movie, they weren't very sure.

"Yeah I guess so," Midoriya agreed. He turned to Nagisa, "Is that okay with you?"

"Yeah, I'm fine with it," the blunet nodded.

"Wait!" Aoyama yelled, getting everyone's attention. "Before you all decided to watch the monster movie, feast your eyes on this!" The twinkling hero pointed at a poster with a man and a woman holding each other. "Le conte d'amour doux!"

They all stared at the poster, with disinterested and uncomfortable looks.

"That looks horrifying," Midoriya sweatdropped.

"Yeah, I think I rather watch Godzilla vs Kong, kero," Asui stated bluntly. Tokoyami nodded, "Agreed."

"And I'm not reading subtitles," Sero deadpanned.

"And besides, that's an R-rated movie, Aoyama," Ojiro pointed out.

"I don't see why we can't watch it?" Mineta said.

"No one was asking you Mineta," Hagakure told him.

The French-speaking boy only sighed dramatically. "None of you understand true art."

"Let's just go," Ashido said, "Everyone go buy popcorn, drinks, snacks and your tickets for the movie!"

=| 2 hours later |=

Class 1A walked out of the cinema very satisfied, the movie was much better than they had anticipated.

"That movie was actually not that bad!" Kaminari said.

"Not that bad? It was AWESOME!" Uraraka cheered, floating upwards without realizing. Fortunately, Midoriya was quick enough to pull her back down.

Iida added, "Yes, I never expected Kong would be so intelligent."

Kirishima also added, "Not just intelligent! He was so manly when he teamed up with Godzilla to fight Mechagodzilla!"

"I guess so, but I really thought that Godzilla and Kong would not have to fight," Koda said, a bit saddened by the fighting of the titular monsters.

"Of course you do," Sero couldn't help but shake his head.

Midoriya chuckled before looking to his side at Nagisa who was still sipping his slushie.

"Did you enjoy the movie, Nagisa?" Midoriya asked the younger male.

Nagisa nodded with a wide smile, "Yeah! It was awesome!"

"So where to next?" Ashido asked the group.

"Can we please go to the arcade now?" Kaminari begged.

"Alright, alright!" Ashido told him, "We'll go to the arcade, Kaminari!"

"Yes!" He cheered.

=| Arcade |=

The group of teens entered the arcade and quickly dispersed to play the different games. Nagisa was again awed by the inside, everything was even brighter and more colourful than any arcade he'd ever visited in his world.

"Which one do you want to play first, Nagisa?" Midoriya asked his younger companion.

The blunet wasn't quite sure, everything looked very fun. Although, his eyes were set on a shooting game quite far from the entrance.

"How about that one?" Nagisa gestured at the game.

Midoriya squinted his eyes, before he was finally able to see it. "Whoa, I didn't know you can see that far, Nagisa! Okay then, let's go play."

"Hey!" Uraraka popped up behind the two, startling Midoriya while Nagisa simply turned to her. She grinned at them, "Do you guys mind if I join you?"

"Not at all!" The greenet replied nervously.

"Awesome! Let's go!" The brunette said and the three made their way to the game.

Meanwhile, somewhere else in the arcade, Bakugou and Kirishima had come across Dance Revolution.

"Why don't we play this one?" Kirishima asked the blond.

Bakugou clicked his tongue, "No fucking way. I'm not playing that trash. And even if I did, I will destroy you and you know it."

Kirishima sweatdropped, "Okay so another game then?"

"What's wrong Bakugou? Too chicken to dance?" A voice asked and the two boys spun around to see a smirking Todoroki.

"What did you say, you Half-and-Half Bastard!?" Bakugou growled in his face but Todoroki's expression remained the same. "I can fucking dance circles around you!"

"Alright then," the red-and-white-haired male replied calmly. "Prove it."

"Damn right I will!" Bakugou yelled back.

Soon after, he and Todoroki went to the game and placed their arcade tokens inside. The game started playing music and the arrows appeared on the screen, showing them where to step.

The two rivals began dancing, hitting every arrow at the right time. In fact, they were so in sync that it was scary.

People gathered and began cheering them on as they continued dancing. Kirishima only sweatdropped again.

Back with Nagisa, Midoriya and Uraraka, they had started playing the shooting game. Midoriya and Uraraka were shocked by the blunet's skills. He was showing no mercy, shooting at people and monsters like he's been doing it for years. It was scary.

And what was even scarier, was the blank look on his face as he hummed a tune, but was killing like some trigger happy lunatic.

"Wow, Nagisa..." Midoriya breathed an amazed whistle. "You're really good at this!"

"Yeah..." Uraraka agreed, "It's almost like you were trained to do this!"

'Oh you have no idea,' Nagisa thought with a slight smile.

The day passed with the gang playing almost every game in the arcade. Bakugou and Todoroki tied four times in the dancing game but refused to give in so Kirishima had to drag them both away from it. Nagisa found most of the games easy, thanks to his assassin skills and observations of Kanzaki's gaming. He even got stuffed animals for all the girls from the claw machine and then Todoroki offered to get one for him. It was a blue cat.

After trading all their tickets for items, class 1-A left the arcade satisfied, well other than Bakugou who had vowed to beat Todoroki next time.

It was past noon and some of the girls wanted to go shopping; namely Yaoyorozu, Hagakure, Asui and even Ashido. The guys weren't that interested, mainly because they would just be carrying the bags.

So in the end, the four girls went shopping with Ojiro and Shoji offering to be their bag carriers, especially with the latter's quirk being useful for the task.

"We'll try not to take too long!" Yaoyorozu said.

"Can't Nagisa-chan come with us?" Hagakure asked hopefully.

That made Nagisa hide behind Kirishima in fear.

"I think not," The redhead said, "It's probably safer for him anyway."

Koda, Sero, Sato and Aoyama suggested that they'd buy some groceries for this night's dinner and went off to do that. They took Mineta along too, so he wouldn't sneak off and harass the girls.

Finally, those who remained decided to go to the karaoke bin.

=| Karaoke Bin |=

Once they got there, they got a room for themselves but only ordered drinks since they would be eating later.

Most of them chose a song to sing and to everyone's surprise, they all had pretty good voices, even Todoroki although he sounded a bit monotone.

Once Uraraka was done singing Don't Stop Me Now, since Bakugou wasn't going to sing, it was Nagisa's turn. The blunet nervously gripped his microphone.

"Don't worry, Nagisa! I'm pretty sure you'll do fine." Kirishima reassured him.

"That's if he's not terrible," Bakugou scoffed.

"Just ignore Kacchan," Midoriya smiled at him, "You can do this!"

Nagisa sighed before he lifted himself off the seat and walked to the front where everyone had been singing.

As music filled the air, Nagisa brought the microphone to his lips and stared at everyone in the room with nervous eyes. He then took a deep breath, and breathed out, calming his nerves. He smiled slightly as he opened his mouth to sing the lyrics:

Hotel California

Verse 1:

On the dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair.

Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air.

Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light.

My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim, I had to stop for the night.

There she stood in the doorway, I heard the mission bell.

I was thinking to myself, 'this could be Heaven or this could be Hell?'

Then she lit up the candle, and she show me the way.

There were voices down the corridor, thought I heard them say: [Chorus]

Verse 2:

Her mind was Tiffany-twisted, she got the Mercedes Benz.

She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys she calls friends.

How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat.

Some dance to remember, some dance to forget.

So I called up the captain, "please bring me my wine."

He said, "We haven't had that spirit here since nineteen sixty-nine."

And still those voices are coming from far away.

Wake you up in the middle of the night, just to hear them say: [Chorus}

Verse 3:

Mirrors on the ceiling, the pink champagne on ice.

And she said, "We are all just prisoners here, of our own device."

And in the master's chambers, we gathered for the feast.

They stab it with their steely knives, but they just can't kill the beast.

Last thing I remember, I was running for the door.

I have to find the passage back, to the place I was before.

"Relax," said the night man, "We are programmed to receive.

You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave."

Chorus:

Welcome to the Hotel California.

Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place)

Such a lovely face.

{For verse 1}

Plenty of room at the Hotel California.

Any time of year (Any time of year)

You can find it here

{For verse 2}

They livin' it up at the Hotel California.

What a nice surprise (What a nice surprise)

Bring your alibis

The music continued until it finally ceased, with everyone staring at Nagisa, completely awed by his performance. The majority clapped for him and cheered.

"Great job Nagisa!" Midoriya was the first to say.

"Nagisa-kun! That was amazing!" Uraraka complimented him.

"Awesome singing man!" Kirishima told him after, still clapping.

Jiro nodded, very impressed. "Yeah, that was great, singing with such emotion. It's almost like you were living the song."

The blunet's smile faltered at that moment and he felt his heart ache all of a sudden.

"Thank you," he said, bowing but as he lifted his head, he didn't want to be there anymore. "I'm sorry, I need just a moment outside."

The blunet put the mic down and rushed out of the room, leaving the others confused and concerned.

"Did we upset him?" Iida asked.

"Maybe it was something I said..." Jiro thought aloud, feeling like it was her fault.

"Don't worry, I'm sure it's nothing too serious," Midoriya assured them, although he wasn't a hundred percent sure himself. He wanted to chase after the boy but decided to give him some space instead.

Nagisa walked out of the karaoke bin, feeling slightly dejected. He never cried often, even when things seemed rough, but at the moment it was what he wanted to do.

He hated the feeling. All the singing did was remind him of how he was stuck in this world, separated from his friends and family. But what bothered him the most, was that time continued to move and he didn't even know if it moved the same way in both worlds.

For all he knew, he had also gone forward in time, weeks could've passed by now and he can't do anything about it. It made him feel sick just thinking about it! He wished so much that he could tell the others about his worries but he couldn't. He couldn't even tell Midoriya.

'It doesn't matter what my situation is, I can't be sure how they'll react to me being an assassin.' The boy thought in distress. 'Even so, if I don't say something soon, I might be stuck here longer than intended.' Nagisa sighed heavily, digging his fingers into his hair. "If only I knew who brought me here in the first place."

"This will be the end of all heroes."

'Who are they? Why do they want to destroy the heroes?' Nagisa continued to ponder, wracking his brain for an answer.

- "Assassins are the key."

'Huh?' Nagisa blinked as the same voice echoed through his mind. 'Assassins are the key? The key to what?' He gasped as he pieced both statements together. "Did they mean that assassins are the key to ending all heroes?"

"Excuse me? Young man?"

"Ah!" Nagisa yelped and spun around to see an elderly lady staring at him with gentle brown eyes.

Nagisa eased up as soon as he noticed that. The woman had greying marron hair, wrinkly skin and small brown eyes. She wore a purple hood, a brown coat and brown pants.

"Is everything alright, Ma'am?" The blunet asked, putting his concerns aside in favour of the old lady.

The greying woman gestured, "No, most things are fine, but I lost a bracelet in that alleyway. It is my husband's wedding gift, and it is very precious to me. It doesn't help that my eyesight is deteriorating, please help me, young man!"

Nagisa gave the woman a reassuring smile before standing straight again. "Don't worry, I'll help you find your bracelet today, okay?"

The old lay seemed to be gland and cheered up at that. "Oh thank you very much, young man!"

"Alright then," Nagisa said as he strolled into the alleyway, which was rather dark, with barely enough sunlight to light the path. The blunet had to scan all across the alleyway with his eyes and touch to feel his way around, and find the bracelet.

Yet in the middle of the search, he felt a familiar chill crawl up his spine, causing him to freeze. Confused and anxious, he looked around and saw nothing, he shrugged but he knew one thing, something wasn't right here.

After searching for a few minutes, Nagisa found a purple-bead bracelet that had some runes etched on its beads. Believing that to be the old lady's missing bracelet, he headed back to the woman, asked smilingly, "Is this your bracelet?"

The lady inspected the bracelet and replied happily, "Yes, thank you for that Shiota Nagisa."

The blunet froze again, this time for a different reason. He slowly directed his widened blue eyes to the old woman as his lips trembled. "Wait, how...how do you know my name? I never told you what it was."

The lady's gentle eyes became sharp and emitted a violet glow, her lips curled up into a devious grin, "You didn't have to tell me, my mother told me all about you."

The gentle, elderly voice that came from the woman was now absent, replaced by a younger, darker voice.

Nagisa took a startled step back, "Your...mother?" He repeated anxiously, but then it hit him, "No, don't tell me! Are you with the ones who brought me to this world?"

The old lady only cackled evilly, her body enveloped by a black fog, and she turned into a tall, young woman. Her hood and previous attire quickly vanished, now adorning a thick, red long-sleeved dress with golden patterns, and maroon heels. Her hair grew to shoulder length and was no longer grey but orange, and her skin had become smooth, revealing a rather attractive face.

Nagisa bit his bottom lip, "Who-who are you!?"

"All questions will be answered in due time," the orange-haired female gazed at Nagisa with wicked eyes. "But right now, you will have to come with me." And with that, she pressed on some of the beads of her bracelet, causing a great shadow to wrap around him.

Nagisa gasped, attempted to break free of the shadow's hold, but it seemed the more he struggled, the more he was consumed by it.

Nagisa couldn't even process himself being in a situation like this at all.

'This can't seriously be happening...' he thought, as he continued to be engulfed by the shadow. 'Midoriya-san...someone...anyone please...help me...?'

=| Musutafu, Shizuoka Prefecture |=

At the same time, in the skies above Musutafu, a space-time distortion started to form. From it, a yellow light was emitted. Once the light subsided, a hole in the air was revealed, and from it, a blue box flew out.

The blue box flew through the sky spinning uncontrollably while making a wheezing noise. As it descended below the clouds, it narrowly evaded a few skyscrapers. But as it approached a park in the middle of the city, it crashed into the side of a building, slowing it down and it crash-landed on a pathway in the park, knocking down two garbage bins in the process. Yet, despite not looking like it belonged in that place and all the ruckus it caused, no one in this busy area seemed to have noticed it.

A/N:

Hello readers! How have ya'll been doin'? It has been quite some time since I last updated, huh? Hehehehe...

Alright but jokes aside...

I AM VERY SORRY I TOOK SO LONG! I JUST HAD SO MANY THINGS TO DO FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS, LIKE TESTS, AND ESSAYS TO WRITE! Yet, I still had so much free time but I wasted it, binge-watching Star Trek Discovery and Picard. They are just so damn good! It's just a pity that Discovery can no longer be watched on Netflix. Still, I've been keeping up to date with the MHA manga.

So anyway, Nagisa is now in trouble, but it just so happens that the "ancient, mystic blue box' had arrived in this world. But the guys inside the box will have to stay inside till the next chapter. Quick disclaimer: I forgot to mention, there will be some shipping.

And yes, I know the movies I pointed out are supposed to be in the 2020s, but considering the earlier years of hero society, it's not surprising that those movies would be released sometime later. And about what I said about Stephanie Beatriz, I'm sorry if I insulted anyone, I wrote it like that cuz I am sure Bakugou would say that, I don't mean any of it and I love Brooklyn nine-nine and Encanto, both are fantastic.

I also chose Hotel California to be sung by Nagisa, because I was watching Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as I was writing this chapter, and Ochaco sang Don't Stop Me Now, because of a fan comic I found on Pinterest of Midoriya writing a note about her.

Anyways, as my Easter break will be starting this weekend, I will be able to write the next chapter quickly. So stay safe, stay happy and stay tuned!
