On a bright sunny day at Canterlot City, Erebus, who is no longer wearing his mask, drops Sunset off to school, waving at each other as he leaves for work. Erebus has his mask attached on his belt as he walks to his work at the Sweet Shopee. He ignores the stares of people that were looking at him, they were actually gawking. Since without his mask, they could see his very attractive face. Erebus couldn't blame them since Grimm Riders are known to be extremely beautiful and wore masks to hide their faces. When Erebus enters the shop, he saw both Mr. and Mrs. Cakes were setting things up, ready for the day, and as he entered the shop, they were both surprised to see him. Like a celebrity has entered their shop.
"Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Cake." Erebus greeted them with a bow.
Mr. and Mrs. Cakes were surprised and shocked to realize that it was Erebus without his mask. "Erebus? Is that you?" Mr. Cake asked in shock.
Erebus straightened up and nodded his head. "Yes, I am sorry if my appearance seems to bother you. I will put my mask on if you like."
"Oh, no-no-no! It's okay, Erebus." Mrs. Cake assures him. "We're all right with you without a mask."
"Thank you, Mrs. Cake." Erebus said with gratitude and was about to go to the back to put on his apron.
Once he did, Erebus spotted Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake at their baby pen, looking at him. Well, Pumpkin Cake was looking at him while Pound Cake was more focused on Erebus's mask that was attached to his belt. Erebus's eyes softened at this before walking over to the infants as he kneels-down at their height. The babies made eye contact with Erebus, babbling nonsense and blinking. Erebus then unlatches his mask from his belt and hands it over to a curious Pound Cake.
"Can you hold this for me while I work?" He asked the baby kindly with a small smile.
Pound Cake lets out a squeal of happiness and takes the mask before nibbling it. Smiling, Erebus gets ready and starts to work without his mask. Little does he know that without his mask, he gets a lot of attention from people.
And boy, it did draw a lot of customers.
At Canterlot High, Sunset was helping her friends finish up with the decorations for the Halloween event. Sunset helps Applejack with the fences for the petting zoo, making sure that it is strong and sturdy. Rainbow Dash was getting the materials they needed. Rarity and Fluttershy were decorating the fences with pumpkins and streamers. They were all excited for the event and their costumes. As they were preparing, Pinkie Pie came charging towards them.
"Girls! Check this out!" Pinkie squeals as she shows them her phone to reveal a livestream video of the third richest person on the planet, Zelda Jolly, waving at the crowd of reporters.
:Ms. Jolly! Is it true that you're heading to Canterlot City this Saturday?!: Asked a male reporter.
Zelda Jolly laughs a bit. :It's true! I'm heading there to start a new restaurant named after my precious daughter, Pepper!: She answers to them happily, like a child getting presents for Christmas.
:Is Willa Wisp going to be there?!: Asked a female reporter.
:But of course! She's the main event of the grand opening~! And there, she will perform her latest song!: Zelda Jolly sang happily, :I'll see you all there~!:
As she leaves, the reporters continue to ask questions to her before the video cuts off. Pinkie smiles at everyone brightly while everyone stares at her phone in shock, realizing what just happened.
"I don't believe it! Willa Wisp is coming here with Zelda Jolly!" Rainbow Dash said excitingly.
Sunset looks at her. "You seem excited about her."
Rainbow Dash gave her a wide grin. "Who wouldn't!? She owns the number one record company ever so excited! She made simple musicians into awesome world-famous musicians! And I'm gonna ask her for a record deal!"
"If you can get past her security." Applejack reminds Rainbow Dash.
"Sure, I can! Just watch!" Rainbow Dash said determinedly.
"Darling, as much as I want to meet Ms. Jolly and Willa Wisp in person, I don't want to get in trouble with the security." Rarity said, taking a sip of her drink.
"Didn't your parents say that you're supposed to stay home that day since they're going out of town?" Wallflower reminded her as she took a bite on her sandwich.
Realizing this, Rainbow Dash facepalmed in annoyance. "D'oh!" She yelled out. Her parents clearly instructed her to stay at home while they were gone on a trip. She also had to do the chores in the house too. And if her parents find out that she just left the house when they get back, she is so grounded
"Aren't you girls going to go there?" Sunset asked the others.
Wallflower shook her head. "I can't, I have to visit my grandma at retirement home with my Auntie Dandelion this Saturday." She informs Sunset.
"As do I. After all, I have to stay overtime to finish up our Halloween costumes." Rarity said, having to prepare for the event.
"Me and Pinkie here need to get the supplies ready for the feast on Halloween." Applejack said and Pinkie agreed.
"I...I have to go and um...help out in the animal center." Fluttershy said shyly.
"It just leaves you, Sunset." Applejack said to her. "Are you going to the grand opening?"
Sunset thinks about it. She and Erebus do have free time, also Erebus said that he was going to hang out with her and explore more through the city. So...why not?
"Sure, and maybe I could get Willa Wisp's autograph for you guys." Sunset said with a smile.
Rarity squeals in delight. "Perfect! And if you do, can you tell them about the carousel boutique?" She informs Sunset, making her laugh.
"Sure thing, Rarity." Sunset said, making Rarity happy. "By the way, where's Babs Seed and the others? Aren't they going to have lunch?"
"They want to finish up their costumes this weekend, they have to make sure to get them ready before Friday.
After lunch, they got back to their task. They readied many materials for the Halloween event for the whole day. Once they finish their preparation, Rainbow Dash still has detention with Trixie while the rest had to get some materials from the store. Sunset was then approached by Principal Celestia, asking her if she could inform the Cakes to make some desserts for the event since Sunset was heading to the Sweet Shoppe after school. Sunset did as she was told and headed off to the Sweet Shoppe. But when arriving there, she was shocked to see a long line of customers, mostly females, eagerly waiting in line.
"Oh, Sunset, over here!" She heard Mrs. Cake calling out to her.
Looking up, she saw the baker waving her, who she waves back, before Mrs. Cake gestures to come over, which she did. Sunset meets with Mrs. Cake at the back of the shop where they entered and to her shock and surprise, she sees the whole shop was packed by female customers. Turns out, Due to Erebus without his mask, everyone could see his handsome face. Erebus had his hands full since all the girls wanted to see him up close, looking at him dreamily and giggling about. Some even took pictures while he works, posting about the most handsome male they have ever seen.
"Woah! This place is packed!" Sunset said in shock.
"I know! If Erebus keeps this up, I'm thinking of him getting a raise!" Mrs. Cake laughed with pure joy.
Sunset laughs along as well. "Oh, by the way, can you and Mr. Cake make some pastries for Canterlot High's Halloween event?"
"But of course! It would be an honor." Mrs. Cake said with a smile.
"Thanks, Mrs. Cake." Sunset thanked the female baker.
Before Mrs. Cake leaves, Sunset spotted Erebus carrying many trays that had drinks on them with perfect balance. He serves the drinks to the girls while doing a performance by swiftly placing the glasses on the table without spilling them, earning applause from the females. Sunset soon joins in the applause as she smiles at her friend. Erebus spotted her and made his way to Sunset.
"Hello, Sunset, how was school?" He asked her, going over to the counter to get her a drink.
"Great, we're almost done with the preparations." Sunset said as Erebus served her a drink. "Thanks." Erebus nodded at her and continued working. "So, Erebus? Do you have any plans on Saturday?"
"Not really, Mr. and Mrs. Cake decided to give me a day off on Saturday since I've been helping out so much. Why?" Erebus asked her.
"Well, since the girls have plans on the Weekends, I was hoping you could come with me to this new restaurant that will open on Saturday. Wanna check it out?" Sunset asked him.
Erebus nodded his head, "Of course. I am curious about what this restaurant might serve." He said to Sunset, making her smile.
"Excuse me! Can I have a refill?" Asked a female customer, wanting to see Erebus.
"Coming." Erebus called out before turning to Sunset. "Be with you in a minute?"
Sunset nodded her head and enjoyed her drinks while Erebus carried the pitcher of juice to the waiting customers. Sunset found it peaceful to be in this shop, as she now enjoys the company of others, she could find peace here. However, her peace is interrupted when she notices someone at the far corner of a shop, eyeing Erebus.
It was a man, who has grayish-blue skin, silt dark gray hair with steel blue and platinum blonde highlights. He was wearing a black, short-sleeved turtleneck, blue jeans, and black combat boots. He was eyeing Erebus, like he was some kind of threat. Sunset felt unease when she saw this.
"Hey, Mrs. Cake?" Sunset asked the owner when she walked out of the back room. "Is he a regular here?" She points at the mysterious man, drinking a cup of coffee.
Mrs. Cake observed him and shook her head, "No. Actually, it's the first time I've seen him...probably a new customer." She said with a smile before walking away.
However, it didn't ease the unicorn turned human at all. Instead, she became very suspicious about this newcomer, she has a bad feeling about him. As if he could sense her, the man looked in her direction, forcing Sunset to quickly look away, daring not to look back. Or else the man will find her suspicious. She has to warn Erebus after his shift. Who knows if the guy was working for the Razoron siblings? She didn't want him to get hurt like last time because of them.
Few hours before closing time, the man was the last one to leave the shop while Erebus helped the Cakes to close up. Erebus and Sunset said their goodnights to the Cakes and headed home. And one their way home, Sunset told Erebus about the stranger at the shop, she was worried if that guy was a spy from Razoron siblings. But Erebus informs her that the Razoron siblings never had any humans in this world to help them as they only rely on themselves. However, Erebus must agree to this since this man could be a threat to him and Sunset. Suddenly, Erebus felt someone watching them. He quickly holds Sunset close, causing the girl to look at him.
"Erebus? What's wrong?" She asked in concern.
"Stay close to me and don't look back." Erebus ordered quietly, "We're being followed."
Obeying his words, Sunset stayed quiet as they quickly walked away. As they moved to the corner, the man known as Onyx Star was watching them from a distance. Narrowing his eyes, the man decides to follow them but instead of going to the path, Onyx Star climbs up on a fire escape on a building, before he gives chase by doing parkour from building to building. Going after the two teenagers. However, when he stops at a building to check if the teens were there, to his shock and surprise, they are gone. Onyx Star mutters in annoyance, there was no way those teens could disappear so quickly. Before he could do anything, Onyx Star felt a presence from behind and quickly delivered a punch, but his fist was blocked by a hand.
Onyx Star narrowed his eyes to see it was Erebus who had blocked his hand. As it turns out, Erebus was baiting Onyx Star to give chase before sneaking up on him. Both combatants shared looks of challenge while Sunset stood afar, watching the whole ordeal with wide eyes. There was a dead silence between both males, still eyeing at each other, daring them if they're going to make the first move. But instead of fighting, Erebus lets go of Onyx Star's fist and asks a simple question.
"Who are you and why were you following us?"
Onyx Star didn't respond as he glared at Erebus, as if he was some sort of enemy. Sunset was worried about her friend and was scared by Onyx Star's presence. Before they could do anything, they heard a female voice in their heads.
"Don't be rude, Onyx Star."
Soon, a small fire appeared into thin air, surprising the group in the process. They watched as the small flame floated down and transformed into a beautiful maiden with aqua blue eyes, long Periwinkle with powder blue hair, ice blue and morning blue highlights, white skin. She wears a beautiful dress that matches her color and is very elegant. She looked at both Erebus and Sunset kindly, who stared at her in disbelief.
"Do not be afraid, we mean no harm." The mysterious woman said to them gently.
"Who..." Sunset suddenly began speaking, "Who are you?"
The mysterious woman smiles at her gently. "I am Aqua Moonlight. And this man with me is Onyx Star. We are here to take you somewhere." She informs them kindly.
Erebus and Sunset looked at each other while Onyx Star rolled his eyes at Aqua Moonlight. "Aqua, you're breaking protocol." He informs the mysterious woman.
"Oh, hush now. They need to go where he can explain to them. You remember the mission." Aqua Moonlight reminded him, earning an annoyed sigh.
"To where, exactly? And who's he?" Sunset asked both of them, earning a smile from Aqua Moonlight.
Later, Sunset and Erebus were inside a black car that was driving out from the city. Onyx Star was driving the vehicle with Aqua Moonlight sitting beside him, calmly looking ahead. Sunset holds Erebus's hand, fearing what's going to happen. Erebus gently holds her hand, assuring that they will be fine. Onyx Star soon drives the car to a warehouse that looks abandoned. Once they entered, Onyx Star pressed some buttons on a pad that was attached to his car. And in doing so, the floor beneath them suddenly moved and brought them down. Sunset was shocked as they were lowered to a secret, hidden underground base. Sunset stared in awe as they reached their destination.
"Follow us." Onyx Star informs them, getting out of the car with Aqua Moonlight.
Sunset was afraid to come out, not sure what to do. Aqua Moonlight came over and gave Sunset a comforting smile. "It's all right, my dear. You're safe here." She assures the girl.
Sunset was still skeptical but was able to get out when Erebus helped her. She stayed close to Erebus and followed the two mysterious strangers to a big metallic door, which opened in their presence. Sunset's mouth dropped in total shock and amazement to see the inside. It was a massive room that looked endless, filled with futuristic computers with people, both male and females, typing about. Upon further look, there are some that are not all...human. In fact, they literally look alien. Like, really aliens. Sunset stared at the alien looking beings with dumbfounded expression until suddenly, the metallic platform started to move, surprising Sunset in the process. She stared in pure shock as she held onto Erebus's arm. Then holes appeared on both sides of the platform, scanning Aqua Moonlight and Onyx Star. Then a hand scanner came in front of the two adults, allowing their hands to be scanned.
:Onyx Star, clear. Aqua Moonlight, clear.: A computer voice of a woman said, approving the two adults.
The platform reaches to an elevator. Sunset's mouth dropped at the sight of the really high elevator. Her grip tightened on Erebus as they stepped inside while the elevator's doors closed behind them. They were taken up to the top floor while Sunset looked down at the shrinking forms of the workers. Soon, they reached the top floor that reveals a corridor with red-violet walls. They stepped off the elevator before Onyx Star and Aqua Moonlight took them to a huge double-doors. They opened to reveal an office that has a desk in the center with a fancy looking carpet and two fancy chairs in front of it. Behind the desk is a wall with a symbol of two swords forming an x on the back of a shield with the symbol of an alicorn. While the rest of the room was surrounded by rows of bookshelves. Sunset would continue to stare until she spotted a tall muscular man with long spiky black hair that was tied, red eyes, tan skin, and wearing a uniform that almost resembled a general uniform. Onyx Star salutes the man with respect while Aqua Moonlight bows at him. The man simply raises a hand at them.
"At ease." The man said, allowing the two adults to straighten up. He then looks at both Erebus and Sunset calmly, an expression or stern yet warmth in his eyes. "Ms. Sunset Shimmer I presume?"
Sunset was startled by the man's voice but was able to respond. "Y-yes, um..."
"Trousk, Commander Trousk. Leader of this organization." The man named Trousk replied to her question. "Please, take a seat."
"Of what, exactly?" Erebus was the one to question him as he and Sunset sat down.
"That's classified, kid." Onyx Star stated, eyes narrowed at the teen.
Trousk waved him off. "There's no need for hostility, Agent Onyx. They have the right to know." He turns to the teens again and replied, "To answer your question, you are here at the base of D.O.U.A."
"D.O.U.A.?" Sunset asked in confusion.
"Department of Unknown Anomalies, D.O.U.A. for short." Trousk stated as he continues, "This is a top-secret organization charged with protecting the world from the magic, extraterrestrial, paranormal, and supernatural threats." Trousk then went over to his desk and pressed a button to reveal a holographic planet earth that shows different location. "Our job is to keep humanity from finding out the truth of the unknown."
"You...you've been protecting this world from the secret of magic for years, correct?" Erebus asked Trousk, who nodded his head.
"Indeed. Years ago, this organization was founded by my great-grandfather, Tailblaze, an explorer and historian, found out about the secret of magic long ago after his long voyage." Trousk explains to them.
"What did he find?" Sunset asked in shock, not knowing that humans in this world have discovered magic.
"An island that was surrounded by living plants and a magic of the unknown. Fearing for the safety of humanity, Tailblaze and his crew agreed to keep this a secret, and thus formed D.O.U.A. to protect those who cannot protect themselves from unknown threats. There are things that go bump in the night. And we are the ones who bump back."
Sunset couldn't help but stare in shock, having no idea that there were people protecting humanity in secret. Erebus was also impressed by this as well. He thought this world has no magic, but it turns out, it was hidden because of D.O.U.A.
"You were protecting humanity in secret, so now one could find out about the magic." Erebus said in realization.
"You got that right, kid." Onyx began, coming over to the desk of the holographic Earth, looking seriously. "This organization protects humanity from certain threats like creatures of the unknown trying to get into cities."
Aqua Moonlight nodded her head in agreement. "There are things in this world that modern men or women relegate to fairy tales and video games, but they are real. They are dangerous. And they will trick the minds of those who seek fame or fortune to get what they want."
"So...what happens to the things that bump in the night? Where do you put them?" Sunset asked hesitantly.
"D.O.U.A. has many private islands and areas that are placed in environmental protection and a natural preserve to prevent any greedy businessman from using them as their resorts or making business there." Trousk explains to them, showing some picture images to prove his point. "These islands and areas are heavily guarded; no humans are allowed to enter. Only agents of D.O.U.A. has access to them."
"Woah..." Sunset awed at the sight before her until realizes something. "But why tell us? What do you want from us?"
"Ah, good questions, Ms. Shimmer." Trousk said, closing the holographic screen and took his seat. "The reason why I brought you and your friend here is because sources found out that you have dealt with these unknown creatures that cannot be contained, even from D.O.U.A.'s standards." Trousk shows him a holographic video of a Beowolf, trying to break out from its prison. "Any ideas that this is?"
Erebus narrowed his eyes at the Grimm, knowing that the agents of D.O.U.A. needs his help in fighting and classifying the Grimm. "Indeed. This beast before you, it is called a Beowolf, a Creature of Grimm."
"A what?" Onyx Star asked in suspicion, not able to recognize the creature that Erebus said.
"The Creatures of Grimm are monsters that inhabit various parts of the world. In which case, my world is called Remnant. They were created by the God of Darkness to destroy his older brother's creation of life." Erebus answered him.
"Please explain why these Grimms are here, and why they are attacking us?" Trousk asked him, which Erebus did.
The Grimm Rider explains to Trousk about his home world, Remnant, and how his people are called the Grimm Riders. They were kept hidden from the rest of the kingdom and remained in the shadows, since they didn't want to use their gift for control and power. And they made laws to never abuse their gifts. However, two Grimm Riders broke the law after being sick and tired of living in secret. They are siblings known as Hitchcock and Agate Razoron. They believe that the Grimm Riders should be the ones ruling all of Remnant's kingdoms, both humans and the Faunus alike, and will tremble in fear at the sight before them. But Queen Selene forbade them to cause harm against the humans and Faunus, for they were breaking the code of the Grimm Riders. He told them how the siblings tried to assassinate the queen, much to the shock of the three adults, but soon added that the queen was saved, and the siblings were sent to life in prison against the queen and breaking the code.
Onyx Star asked how they got here, to which Erebus explained that his mother and her friend created a machine called the Arc where it can send others to another dimension. In which case, this dimension. The Razoron siblings found out how to operate the Arc and sent them here, so they can start their plan of world domination since they believe that this world has no magic, no semblance, and no protection. And believe that they can take over this world with an iron fist by bringing the Grimm with them. However, they only brought rogue Grimms, the ones that do not obey the Grimm Riders. They tried to control them, but it didn't work and left the Rogue Grimm at the forest to roam and cause mayhem. However, over the years, they figure a way to control their own Grimm. They created artificial Grimm that only they control and them alone. And Erebus was assigned by the queen to go after them and stop the Razoron's plan of taking over this world since he is the only one that knows how to fight the Creatures of Grimm.
"And that is why, I wish to help your organization to stop the Razoron siblings' plan, so everyone could have peace." Erebus said, shocking both Onyx Star and Sunset.
"Hmmm...interesting words...all right, welcome aboard." Trousk agrees with a smile, shocking both Onyx Star and Sunset the second time while Aqua Moonlight smiles innocently.
"What?" Sunset looked at her friend with wide eyes.
"What?!" Onyx Star exclaimed in shock. "You can't be serious, commander?!"
"I am, Agent Onyx, Erebus here has more knowledge about these Grimm than any of us. And besides, you did see the video of how he saved Ms. Shimmer and the girl named Wallflower Blush, remember?"
Sunset's eyes widen in shock when he mentions that. "Wait...you guys saw us when Erebus was fighting the Geist?"
"Geist? Is that what you called that ghost creature?" Aqua Moonlight asked curiously.
"Yes, the Geist is capable of possessing and controlling any inert object, creating an armor to protect itself." Erebus informs them.
Trousk smiles and looks at Onyx Star, "See? We need Mr. Erebus to help us classify these creatures, in hopes to capture and contain them."
"I don't think so." Erebus said to Trousk, cutting his sentence, "The Creatures of Grimm cannot be contained, they must be terminated at all costs. And since there are rogues and Razoron siblings' artificial Grimm, they are too dangerous to contain."
"So, termination is necessary for these creatures of Grimm, correct?" Onyx Star questions Erebus, who nodded his head.
"The people on your world are not safe if Rogue and the artificial Grimms roam around. They must be terminated as soon as possible." Erebus said to the leader. "I may not have the authority, but I have to help you to stop the Razoron siblings from harming others."
Trousk couldn't help but smile at Erebus's determination, "That is what I like to hear from you, Mr. Erebus. Determination and honor."
Sunset looks at Erebus in concern, "Are you sure, E?" She asked him in concern, "I don't want you to get hurt again."
Erebus holds her hand in assurance, "I have to do this, Sunset. If not, then you, your friends, and everyone would get hurt by the Razoron siblings and the Grimm." He said to Sunset calmly.
"I know, it's just..." Sunset was hesitant, not wanting to cry.
"Don't worry, Ms. Shimmer." Trousk said, getting their attention, "He won't be doing this alone. I will be assigning my best agent to assist him on the mission."
"Really, who?" Sunset asked.
Trousk gestures to Onyx Star, who frowns at his gesture. "I knew he was gonna pick me." He mutters out in annoyance, not wanting to babysit some rookie.
Aqua Moonlight gave him a gentle smile. "Oh, don't be like that, Onyx Star, it would give you a grand opportunity to get to know them and help you stop being so grumpy."
"I am not, I'm just not good with rookies." Onyx Star stated seriously.
Aqua Moonlight gestures to Erebus gently, "But he is no rookie. He trained all his life. Isn't the correct, Mr. Erebus?" She asked the Grimm Rider kindly.
Erebus responded with a nod, "Indeed. My kin are trained in the ancient arts of combat. We trained at a young age to control our gift and find out our semblance." He explains to them.
"Semblance?" Onyx Star asked in confusion.
Sunset was the one who answered since Erebus told her this before. "It's kinda like their superpower in their world."
"Huh, interesting...anyways, since you're here. Can you help us deal with the creature called Beowolf? From what you said, it cannot be contained, correct?"
Erebus nodded his, "Yes and it must be dealt with now."
"Very well, follow me." Trousk pressed a button under his desk and the wall behind him opens to reveal a secret passageway, shocking Sunset in the process. "Follow me."
Both Erebus and Sunset got up from their seats and followed Trousk through the passageway along with Onyx Star and Aqua Moonlight. They walked through the metal hall to reach a huge room that has endless rows of futuristic technology and holding cells. Inside of those holding cells were unknown creatures that Sunset is familiar with, but many were unknown to her.
"Here are the holding cells where we place the most dangerous of all creatures and beasts." Trousk explains to them as they walk through the halls of the holding cells. "Each of these beasts are both magical and extraterrestrials."
"Are they really dangerous?" Sunset asked hesitantly.
"They are. That is why we are taking them to a secure island where they can roam free and away from human cities." Trousk said to them. "These creatures are classified as Red Class."
"Red Class?" Sunset asked in confusion.
"Yes." Onyx Star said as they continued walking, "There are three classes of creatures which are Green Class, Red Class, and Dark Class. The Green Class are creatures or beings that can be controlled and understandable as they pose no threat to anyone. The Red Class are creatures that are difficult to contain, externally dangerous, and aren't well understood, just like the Beowolf you mentioned earlier. And lastly, Dark Class, they are above all the most dangerous of all classes, they are creatures that are impossible to contain and poses a serious and immediate risk to all human life. Or in other words, they can destroy the whole world in a heartbeat."
"Wow, that's...that's a lot." Sunset said in shock, just learning how D.O.U.A. was able to keep these beings in bay and a secret to humanity.
"It is, but that is our job as agents of D.O.U.A., we make sure that the bad things stay hidden. That way, the people can sleep in peace." Trousk explains to Sunset before they all reach to the holding cell that was housing the Beaowolf. "Here we are."
Sunset and Erebus saw the holding cell was heavily guarded with agents holding taser pistols at the gate, after witnessing the Beowolf trying to break out multiple times. Erebus shielded a frightened Sunset when the Grimm tried to claw itself out from the energy forcefield cage.
"How long has it been here?" Erebus questions them.
"About few days, why?" Trousk answered.
"Keeping them in captivity can prove to be an understandably difficult task, as they tend to either die, or escape to kill those who imprisoned them in the first place." Erebus said before summoning a weapon made of fire dust. "You might want to move away."
Trousk gives the signal for his agents to move, which they did, while he and the rest moved aside with a worried Sunset watching the whole thing. Erebus signals Trousk to open the gate, which he did, and the energy field that was trapping the Grimm was now open, allowing the Beowolf to charge at the Erebus in full force. But before it could make contact, Erebus moved into the speed of light and slashed the Beowolf in half, as parts of its body dropped to the ground and completely evaporated in the process, shocking the agents in the process at his skill. Heck, even Onyx Star was impressed.
"Okay, now I'm convinced." Onyx Star finally said while Aqua Moonlight smiles at him.
Trousk nods his head in approval, "All right. Now that we know that Grimm are dangerous, we can assign you to be on your first mission soon. But as of now, Onyx Star and Aqua Moonlight are you respectful guardians." Onyx Star groans a bit while Aqua Moonlight giggles in pure joy. Trousk then handed both Erebus and Sunset advance-futuristic looking watches, "Here. Use this to contact for any help, that way, we'll be there."
Erebus nodded his head, "Thank you, Commander Trousk."
"Yeah, thank you." Sunset thanked him as well.
"Now, move along, I'll contact you for any possible missions that needs your...profession." Trousk ordered, "Dismiss!"
Erebus and Sunset were brought home by Onyx Star and Aqua Moonlight. They had a long day after they discovered a secret organization that was trying to prevent humans from learning about magic or creatures that would harm them. And now, they are agents working for D.O.U.A. They soon reach their home and both Erebus and Sunset get out of the car.
"Thanks for the ride." Sunset said kindly.
"Don't mention it." Onyx Star said casually.
Aqua Moonlight gave a kind smile to them, "Now, run along, you need your strength for any mission."
"From what we experience, I doubt I could get some sleep." Sunset said with a smile.
Aqua Moonlight chuckles at her, "Oh, you."
"Well, we should probably get going now." Onyx Star said as he looked at them, "Night."
"Goodnight." Both Erebus and Sunset said unison as the car drove away.
"What a long day." Sunset said with a sigh. "We have a big day coming up."
"Indeed, we do." Erebus said before outstretching his hand, "Shall we?"
Sunset smiles and holds his hand as they both head back inside for a goodnight sleep.
In Baltimore, there was a live concert, crowds were cheering loudly as the person performing was none other than Willa Wisp. She is an amazing singer and performer. People wanted to know her, and many wanted to be her. She is the number one popstar in the whole world and the niece of the third richest person in the world. Willa has an amazing singing voice that no one could match. And because she is so talented, famous producers would ask her to star in movies or perform alongside other famous singers.
"Thank you, everybody!" Willa thanked the crowd as she finished her song.
The crowd cheered her name as Willa left the stage, her security guards escorted her back to her dressing room. Until she saw her aunt and cousin were waiting for her backstage. Her aunt has blonde hair, silver skin, mismatched eyes (blue on the left and green on the right), while her cousin was a mini version of her aunt, except that she has orange carrot hair and white freckles on her face. Pepper was livestreaming everything. She is a famous influencer that has billions of viewers around the world. Her followers are called Pepperazzi, and they are big fans of her. She sponsors many advertisements for companies and goes to many tourist spots. And because of this, Pepper has all access and membership to all resorts and has free products. But she uses her money to give it away to charity or put it in her savings.
And when Willa went to them, Pepper hugged her cousin happily, spinning around, as they both laughed. "You were awesome, Will!" Pepper laughed in pure joy.
"Thanks, Pepper. I'm glad that you liked it." Willa said happily.
"I did! And what's awesome is that the charity fund for the orphanages was a blast! People are donating money and items for all the orphanages." Pepper said.
"That's great!" Willa said happily, knowing very well that children will be very happy.
"It is, isn't it?" Zelda Jolly came over to her niece. "Because of your concert, all the kids are sending you thank you letters." She said as she snapped her fingers. Two males came with big bags of letters, revealing to belong to all children from orphanages.
Willa smiles at the letters, picking one up, revealing it to be a drawing that was made by a little girl, saying thank you to Willa for helping them. Willa felt overjoy when seeing this, knowing the children are now happy. The reason why Willa was doing this is because she too is an orphan. She never knew both her parents because she was placed in the orphanage as a baby. Her Aunt Zelda Jolly adopted her when she was visiting the orphanage in Canterlot.
Willa always wanted to know her parents. She would do anything to see them. Zelda Jolly doesn't know who her parents are either for she only found out from the caretakers that her mother just gave Willa up and left her a necklace. And that's it. She wonders why she did it, and what was her reason to do it? Soon, Willa's train of thoughts came to a halt when her aunt mentioned a certain city.
"Don't forget, we'll be heading to Canterlot City tomorrow and open my new restaurant!" Zelda Jolly said happily as she beamed at her niece. "Remember, we opened there tonight for your secret concert."
"Canterlot City…" Willa whispers. Her mind was filled with questions and wonder. Thinking about her mother and why she gave her up and why she didn't come back. "Auntie Z...if it's ok...can I explore the city? I promise to wear a disguise."
"Sweetheart, it's okay, you can explore the city! You can even bring Pepper with you!" Zelda Jolly said happily.
Pepper cheers, "Yeah! And we can finally hangout more!"
Willa smiles at her cousin. "Yeah, but remember, we have to wear a disguise."
"Got it!" Pepper said with a grin on her face, "We're gonna have so much fun!"
"We will, but first, I need to find this place first, then we can spend the whole day together." Willa said with a kind smile.
"Okie-dokie, Artichokie!" Pepper saluted with her tongue sticking out.
Willa smiles as she looks at the moon of the night sky. She will go to the city where her mother gave her up. She will get her answers that she long desired, to find out who her mother is and get her answer soon.
She could feel it.
Erebus and Sunset were walking down the sidewalk and towards the grocery store. They needed some supplies at their home before they could go to Zelda Jolly's opening restaurant. Sunset received some text from her friends, wishing her to have a fun day when going to the restaurant, plus Rainbow Dash wants her to get to Zelda Jolly, to have a record deal with the rich woman. Sunset playfully rolled her eyes with a smile as she and Erebus headed towards the grocery store. But as they did, they noticed Onyx Star, wearing a dark blue turtleneck, brown combat pants, and black boots, was leaning over the wall of a building, as if he was waiting for them.
"Onyx Star? What are you doing here?" Sunset asked him in surprise.
"Believe me, I have more important things to deal with. But Commander Trousk instructed me to keep an eye on you two until a further notice." Onyx Star said blankly. "So, what are you two doing?"
"We're doing some groceries before heading to Zelda Jolly's restaurant." Erebus answered before noticing his partner not with him. "Where is Aqua Moonlight?"
"She's here, but inside an amulet I carry around." Onyx Star took out the amulet with a symbol of the water, "She's inside this amulet, it's easy for us to travel to other places without getting spotted. She can even communicate with us via telepathy."
"That's really smart." Sunset complimented.
"Thank you, dear Sunset." Aqua Moonlight said telepathically, surprising Sunset in the process. "My apologies, I didn't mean to startle you, I'll stop if you want."
"No, no, no. It's okay, I don't mind." Sunset said with a kind smile, "So...you guys are coming along with us?"
"Yeah, might as well since I'm stuck babysitting you two." Onyx Star said in annoyance.
"Don't be rude, just help them out." Aqua Moonlight said gently.
And with that, the three went inside the grocery store, where Onyx Star helps them gather the things they need. Although Onyx Star and Erebus did get many stares from many girls, who were giggling and flirting at them dreamily. Onyx Star didn't like getting the attention. He prefers staying out and doing his job. So, after a few minutes, they got everything on the list before heading home. Onyx Star has his car parked nearby, giving the two friends a ride home. After placing their groceries at the trunk, Erebus notices two figures at the corner of the grocery store. Just then, Onyx Star walks over to him.
"All right, we're done here, let's go-what are you doing?" Onyx Star questions Erebus, who was looking at the ally. "What are you looking at?"
"There is someone there, hiding at the corner of the building." Erebus said to Onyx Star, who followed his gaze.
"Is it the Razoron siblings?" Onyx Star asked seriously.
Erebus shook his head, "No, they don't share the same energy levels as they have." He said to him, "But they appear to be lost."
"...I see..." Onyx Star went over to the corner with Erebus and Sunset. As they reached the corner, they saw two figures talking to one another, whispering something. "HEY!"
This startled them as they snapped at their direction in full shock. It revealed to be two girls, one teenager and the other young girl, that were hiding at the corner. The teenager was wearing a blue headscarf and black sunglasses, while the young girl was wearing a green baseball cap and round red sunglasses. They were startled by the group's sudden appearance until the girl wearing the cap came forward and did a karate stance.
"Back off! I spent five years in karate!" She said, ready to fight.
"Peppy, no! We're not supposed to draw attention to ourselves." The teenager said, trying to stop the girl from starting a fight.
Onyx Star rolled his eyes, "I like to see you try." He mutters out, knowing very well that she won't stand a chance against him.
Erebus was the one who asked, "Who are you and what are you doing here?"
"Nobody! We're nobodies and we are not doing anything wrong or illegal! So...bye!" The young girl said as she and the teenager both turned to leave but stopped when Erebus suddenly appeared in front of them, scaring the girls in the process. "How did you do that?!"
"We'll be the one asking the questions here, kid." Onyx Star said seriously. "So, why are two famous celebrities here without any escorts or bodyguards?"
Both girls froze and became tense by this. "Wh-what famous celebrities?" The young girl lied, "We're just tourists and..."
"Don't play me as a fool, Pepper. I know it's you and Willa in those disguises." Onyx Star said, crossing his arms.
"Wait, how did you...hold on..." The teenager named Willa looks at him carefully and realizes who he is, "Mr. Star? Is that you?"
"You got that right, popstar." Onyx Star said casually.
"Wait just a minute." Sunset stops Onyx Star as she looks between him and the girls. "Did you just say Willa? As in, Willa Wisp? The most famous popstar on the entire planet?!"
"Yes, and with Willa is her cousin, Pepper, Zelda Jolly's daughter." Onyx Star gestures to the young girl. "Does your mother know you and Willa are here?"
"Of course! We asked her permission before we explored the city." Pepper defended.
"Onyx Star...how do you know them?" Sunset asked the agent.
Onyx Star lets out a sigh and gestures to the two celebrities, "Zelda Jolly is a friend to my parents. I met them only few times on some occasions."
"What kind of occasion?" Sunset asked him.
"Some get together, meetings, or their birthday parties." Onyx Star answered.
"Yeah, also thanks for the gifts." Willa said kindly.
"Some of the gifts belong to my parents." Onyx Star answered to her.
"Your parents?" Sunset asked.
"My parents, Night Twister and Shadow Rain, they are the fourth richest people on the planet and are always busy." Onyx Star answered blankly.
"Wait...you're rich?" Sunset asked in surprise.
"Yup! Mr. Star's dad, Night Twister, the head of this multi-billion business called Cloudustries, and his mom, Shadow Rain, is a famous actress in the movies and a singer." Pepper said to them. "But why are you here? Is it like a business meeting or something?"
"Business meeting?" Sunset mutters out in confusion.
"They think Onyx Star is working in a business, not knowing he is an agent." Aqua Moonlight said through her mind.
"Noted." Sunset whispers out before she looks at Willa and Pepper. "So...why are you two here in Canterlot City? Isn't Zelda Jolly going to open her new restaurant?"
"She is, Auntie Z allowed me and Pepper to explore the city for a bit." Willa explains to them their reason.
"Where exactly?" Erebus asked them.
"..." Willa was hesitant as she looked at her cousin. Pepper was giving Willa a comforting smile as she held her hand gently, supporting her all the way. Willa smiles back at her before turning to them. "Canterlot Orphanage, we were going to Canterlot Orphanage."
"Why are you girls going to Canterlot Orphanage?" Onyx Star asked suspiciously. "Didn't you already send your charity money there along with other orphanages?"
"This is different. The reason I was going there is because...is because I want to know about my birth mother." Willa answered truthfully, which surprised them in the process. The popstar looks down on the ground and explains her reason, "You see...when I was baby, my mother left me at the orphanage, I want to know why she did it and what was the reason to do so."
"So...you're adopted Zelda Jolly?" Sunset asked in shock.
"Yes, Auntie Z adopted me when I was just a baby, she raised me on her own and I became part of her family with Pepper. But...I want to know where she is and what happened to her. So, please...please don't tell anyone about me being here, so I can find her with no paparazzi chasing us."
Sunset felt pity towards Willa. She came to find her mother and what happened to her. Sunset would do the same as well since she never met her parents for, she too was an orphan and was taken in by Princess Celestia as an apprentice before she runs away to here. Sunset turns to Onyx Star, who was giving Willa and Pepper a serious look, and helps Willa and Pepper out.
"Please, Onyx Star, we should let them go. Willa needs this." Sunset pleaded with Onyx Star.
"No." Was Onyx Star's reply, causing Sunset, Willa, and Pepper to be distraught, until he added, "Because they're going the wrong way. The orphanage is another part of the district of the city. We can take you there in my car."
Hearing this, Willa, Pepper, and Sunset became overjoyed by his response. Aqua Moonlight jokingly said to Onyx Star's mind that he was getting soft, much to his annoyance. They got in the car and headed towards the location of the orphanage. Willa and Pepper were sitting in the back with Sunset. She and Pepper got the window seats while Willa was sitting in the middle. Erebus was sitting in the front seat while Onyx Star drove the car.
"I can't thank you enough for this." Willa said happily. "You have no idea how big this is for me."
"Anytime, Willa." Sunset said with a simple wave. "After all, how big it is to help a super popstar and an internet star."
Pepper grins at her, "I like you! By the way, what's your name?" Pepper asked Sunset curiously.
"Oh, I'm Sunset Shimmer and my friend over there is Erebus." Sunset introduced while Erebus made a simple wave. "So, you're really looking for your birthmother?"
"Yup, I want to know who she is and why she left me...maybe she had reason to. I don't know, I just hope I can get the answers I need." Willa said hopefully.
"I'm sure you will find her and don't give up." Sunset said with a smile, "I know I would."
Willa looks at her curiously, "You...you know what's it like?"
"Yeah...I was like you; I was left at an orphanage when I was baby. I didn't know my birth parents nor who they were. There was no letter or anyone dropping me there. I was just...alone. I was then later adopted by someone when I got older, but when time passed, I moved out and lived with Erebus." Sunset explains in a half-lied truth. She really is an orphan and doesn't know who her birth parents were. And was soon taken in by Princess Celestia before she ran away and met Erebus. Luckily, both Willa and Pepper believed her.
"You and I are the same." Willa said softly, "But yours is different from mine."
"Yeah, it was rough, but I managed." Sunset said with a small smile.
Suddenly, Onyx Star stops the car as he looks at the window, "We're here." He said, getting everyone's attention. Looking at the windows, they saw the orphanage with the sign Canterlot Orphanage. Willa's eyes widened in shock and awe, she finally found the place where she was left as a baby. But before they could get out, Pepper realizes something.
"Wait! I just realized something!" Pepper exclaimed, catching everyone off-guard. "We can't ask about Willa; they'll go fan crazy if me or my cousin suddenly showed up on their doors!"
Willa gasped in realization, "She's right! We can't go in there."
"Don't worry, I know the caretaker." Onyx Star assures them, which earned looks from the cousins, "Just trust me on this, okay?"
They weren't sure about this but had to follow. They got out of the car and went to the orphanage. There, Willa saw many children playing in the area with toys and a mini playground. They were laughing and playing about, clearly overjoyed by the new toys and items they've received from the fund raiser that Willa did to help all the orphanage. Willa couldn't help but smile, knowing that one day they will be adopted to wonderful parents. As they arrived at the counter, they saw a woman in her mid-forties, doing some paperwork. She has scarlet red hair with yellow streaks, pale reddish skin, and golden eyes. She wore a light orange nanny uniform and her hair was tied into a bun. She then notices the group and gasps as she looks at Onyx Star.
"Oh, my! Onyx! Hello!" The woman greeted kindly.
Onyx Star made a small smile, as if he was happy to see her, "Hello, Ms. Scarlet Sunlight."
"Onyx, you don't have to be so formal. Just call me Nana."
"Nana?" The two teenage girls asked in confusion while Pepper held her laughter.
"It's a nickname I gave her when I was young." Onyx Star explains to them. "Nana took care of me when I was young while my parents were busy with their work."
"Really?" Sunset asked in surprise.
"Absolutely, Onyx here was a good boy when he was young." Scarlet Sunlight said kindly as she chuckled, "But he can be mischievous from time to time."
"Nana..." Onyx Star mutters while the three girls giggled at him.
Scarlet Sunlight chuckles, "I'm just joking, dear. You have changed since the last time I saw you. You were just about their age when you left."
"Left? What do you mean he left?" Sunset asked in confusion.
"I was close to your age when my parents sent me to Star Swirl's All-boys boarding school in Baltimore." Onyx Star said with a hint of annoyance, "But I was glad that you found a job here."
Scarlet Sunlight giggled, "Yes, and thank you for the letters you sent all those years. It's very kind of you to do so."
"It is the least I could do after you took care of me all those years." Onyx Star said with appreciation.
"Now, what brings you all here? I doubt any of you wanted to adopt a child." Scarlet Sunlight jokes, earning awkward laughs from the girls.
"Actually, we're here for a different matter." Erebus said to Scarlet Sunlight.
"And what's that?" Scarlet Sunlight asked curiously.
Erebus steps aside and allows Willa to come forward. She hesitated but did so as she looked at Scarlet Sunlight hopefully. "I...I want to know about the woman that left me here." She said softly to Scarlet Sunlight.
"What do...wait a minute...I know you." Scarlet Sunlight suddenly said towards Willa before gesturing to them to follow. "Come with me."
Scarlet Sunlight leads the group to the waiting room. There were two couches, facing each other with a coffee table between them and two armchairs. There was an opening to show filing cabinets. Scarlet Sunlight went into that room and came out after getting a small envelope. They all sit down on the couch while Onyx Star sits on one of the armchairs. Scarlet Sunlight sat on the other couch as she handed Willa, who removed her sunglasses, and looked at the letter.
"Your...mother...came here sixteen years ago. After you were adopted by Zelda Jolly, she wanted to give this to you, but you were already gone." Scarlet Sunlight explained to Willa, who looked at her with wide eyes. "She was devastated by your sudden leave. It was the second time it broke her heart when she had to give you up."
"She...she did?" Willa asked softly, her voice cracking a bit.
Scarlet Sunlight nodded her head, "She really loved you, me dear. She didn't want to give you up, but she had no choice. She was young...scared...she wanted to give you a better life that you deserved to have." She explains to Willa, who began tearing up.
"Did...did she know my dad at least?" Willa asked hesitantly.
Scarlet Sunlight shook her head, "No, she didn't even mention who your father is. The only one with her that day was her older sister."
"Do you at least know their names or what they look like?" Erebus asked of her.
"Well...from what I could remember, they both wore hooded coats. The oldest sister was wearing an amethyst color one and your mother was wearing a midnight blue one. I couldn't see their faces, but I did get to hear their names. The oldest was Tia and your mother's name was Lulu. And that's all I could remember."
"Tia and Lulu...both sisters..." Onyx Star mutters out, as if he was solving a case. "Anything else before they left?"
"Well, Willa's mother, Lulu, was holding you tight. Crying and apologizing to you, saying that she was sorry and wanting to keep you. But she knew that you deserve a better life with someone that can take care of you rather than her." Scarlet Sunlight explains, making Willa even more sad. "But she did leave you the necklace, to show that she still loves no matter what."
Willa soon begins crying, clutching her necklace as she realizes that her mother gave her up because she thought she wasn't a good enough mother for her. But Willa knew her mother would've been a great mother if fear didn't cloud her judgment, she and her would live a great life as mother and daughter. They could've lived a simple life together.
"She even left you a letter, in hopes you could get it." Scarlet Sunlight said, gesturing the envelope.
Looking down at the letter, she could feel herself trembling. Fearing what she was about to read would make her feel worse. Suddenly, she felt Pepper holding her arm gently, causing the popstar to look at her cousin. She gave Willa an encouraging smile, saying she can do it. Sunset was also supportive as she placed a hand on Willa's shoulder, so she won't feel alone. Willa smiles at them both before taking a deep breath and opens the letter.
My dearest, Willa.
Forgive me for leaving you at such a young age. I know you must hate me for this to you. But I didn't have a choice. You deserved a better life than with me. You would be with a family that would love and care for you, giving you anything in the world that I could not. I hope one day you will find this later and hope to find in your heart to forgive me but know this. No matter what, I will always love you. Even though you can't see me, I'm always watching you and thinking about you every day.

Tears began to fall on Willa's eyes as she read her mother's letter. All these years, her mother did what she had to do, to give her a life that she deserved to have. And proving the fact that her mother loved her with all her heart, and it broke when she had to give her up. Willa felt overjoyed and saddened, knowing that her mother suffered dearly to not watch her grow up to become the girl that she is today. Willa then looks up to Scarlet Sunlight with teary eyes and a smile.
"Thank you...Nana...thank you for doing this for me." Willa thanked her graciously.
Scarlet Sunlight smiles at her, "It is my pleasure to help you. After all, it is your right to know." Scarlet Sunlight gave Onyx Star a kind smile, which he noticed and then nodded.
Later, after getting the info they needed, they thanked Scarlet Sunlight for everything and would visit her anytime they wanted, which she happily agreed to. They all get in the car and Onyx Star drives it away, heading towards Erebus and Sunset's house. Willa was busy smiling at the letter that her mother gave her, clearly overjoyed how she really did love her. Pepper hugs her cousin happily, grinning at her as she knew that she found out little about her mother.
"See? I knew everything worked out!" Pepper said happily.
Willa giggles a bit, "Yeah, it did, didn't it? I'm just so happy that I...that I know my mom really loved me." Willa said happily as she looked at her cousin, "And I am very grateful to have you as my cousin." Pepper grins and hugs Willa, who hugs her back, earning a smile from Sunset.
"By the way...Onyx Star?" Sunset began, looking at the agent driving, "Can you find anything about Willa's mom's name Lulu?"
"Hmm...I can try." Onyx Star said, getting exciting and happy looks from the girls, "But I'm gonna need help with some of my friends."
"Are you working with the secret service or something?" Pepper suddenly asked, "I always thought of you as a serious business guy like Mr. Sombra."
"I can assure you, I am more than that." Onyx Star said as he continued driving, "Now. Where do you girls want to be dropped off?"
"Actually, can we hang out with Sunset and Erebus?" Willa asked the agent. "We want to explore more at Canterlot City."
"Yeah!" Pepper agrees with a grin.
"I don't know...they are kind of busy..." Onyx Star looks at Erebus.
"No, we have a free schedule after we finish putting the groceries away." Erebus said calmly.
"We'll help!" Pepper added with a grin.
"Much appreciated." Erebus thanked her kindly.
After arriving at their home, they put the groceries on the cabinets or fridge. Willa and Pepper love to help out since they do a lot of charity funds for people in need. But helping Sunset and Erebus, felt like they were friends, who they're slowly becoming one. Soon, when they finished, they spent the whole day exploring the city. Sunset and Erebus showed them around while Onyx Star drove them there. First, they took them to the Canterlot Natural History Museum, where both Willa and Pepper admired the history and fossils of prehistoric creatures with Sunset and Erebus. Onyx Star was in the history of ancient artifacts, just in case one of them was magical and must be replaced with a fake one.
Next was the planetarium, where they admired the planets and showed that it was given. They took them to the park where Pepper and Willa enjoyed the beauty and serenity of the flora and fauna. Next was the skatepark where Pepper did amazing tricks with a skateboard she found. Willa constantly tells her cousin to be careful, which she is, but sometimes does dangerous tricks from time to time. Then they got some treats and drinks at the Sweet Shoppe. They had a fun time together and it seems Willa and Pepper agree to this.
Afterwards, they finished their fun and headed to Zelda Jolly's opening restaurant. They went to the back, where the bodyguards recognized the two girls and brought them in with Sunset, Erebus, and Onyx Star. There, they were greeted by Zelda Jolly.
"Willy! Peppy! You both made it!" Zelda said happily before noticing Onyx Star, Erebus, and Sunset, "Oh! Onyx Star, I'm surprised you're here."
"Just checking your new restaurant, that's all." Onyx Star said casually before gesturing to Erebus and Sunset, "Anyways, this is Sunset and Erebus, they're...acquaintances of mine."
"And they're super cool!" Pepper added with a grin, "They gave us an awesome tour around the city!"
"Oh, I see. That's very nice of them. And might I say, you two look like a cute couple." Zelda Jolly jokingly said, winking at the two.
Sunset blushed in embarrassment while Erebus looked at her with wide eyes, clearly surprised by her sudden words.
"Couple?!" Both of them suddenly said together as they looked at each other before looking in the opposite directions.
"W-we're not a couple, we're just friends!" Sunset corrected, blushing like crazy.
"Yes, just friends." Erebus also corrected, a faint blush appearing on his face.
Zelda Jolly, Pepper, and Willa giggled at them, finding it adorable. "Well, since you're friends with my girls and Onyx Star, I will invite you all as my grand guests."
"Wow! That's great, thank you so much, Ms. Jolly." Sunset thanked her.
"Please, no formality, I'm not that type of person. Just call me Z, Zelda, or ZJ. I'm okay with any nicknames. Now, let's get to your seats and enjoy your night because Willa will be performing!"
"All right!" Sunset cheered as she and the group followed Zelda Jolly through the restaurant. It was huge. There were many seats including balconies for VIPS or special guests. A huge stage for performers or bands to play their acts or music. Zelda Jolly brings them to their seats, the best VIP seats there are. Sunset, Erebus, Onyx Star, and Pepper sat on the balcony VIP, watching as Zelda Jolly came to stage.
"Welcome everyone to my new restaurant, Pepper Delights!" Zelda Jolly said, earning applause from the crowd, "I just want to thank everyone for coming here. This restaurant is not only for you to enjoy, but also a charity fund for all the people in need. And kick things off, my beloved niece will be performing live with her latest song! Take it away, Willa!"
And with that, Zelda Jolly left the stage, allowing Willa to come out, earning loud cheers and applause from the crowd, mostly from Pepper, who was cheering the loudest of them all.
"Woohoo! Go, Willy!" Pepper cheered loudly, earning a smile and a wave from Willa.
As Willa was on the center of the stage, music started to play for her. She closes her eyes as a wide smile spreads across her face, feeling her necklace in her hand, and thinking of her mother. And soon, the popstar began to sing.

Willa skips around the stage in a dancing manner, earning cheers and applause while some claps to the beat. Pepper and Sunset were cheering while both Onyx Star and Erebus listened to Willa's song.

Willa closes her eyes as she remembers how her Auntie Z took her in, playing with Pepper, and meeting with Sunset and Erebus, and how they and Onyx Star helped her find the orphanage where her mother had to leave her. And finding out that her mother really loved her, and she regretted leaving her. But Willa knows no matter what, she loves her mother, even if she wasn't here.

After her song, everyone cheers at Willa, amazed by her song and performance. Pepper just livestream everything and her followers were liking the show. Sunset cheers while Erebus and Onyx Star applaud at her performance. Soon, everyone started to enjoy their meals that they ordered and listening to music through the stereos. Everyone was having a grand time and enjoying their meals. Since it was a family recipe, they would order seconds. Willa soon joined with the others at the VIP balcony, who congratulated her for her performance.
"You were awesome there, cuz!" Pepper complimented.
Willa smiles at her, "Thanks, Peppy. It was the most fun I had since coming here." She said, smiling at Erebus and Sunset, who were eating plates of spaghettis, enjoying their meals, as they gave her kind looks, "Thank you for giving me and Pepper a good tour."
"It's no problem, Willa." Sunset said happily, "I'm just happy you and Pepper enjoyed the tour." Earning giggles from both Pepper and Willa.
"It's not every day we make amazing friends along the way." Willa said with a smile, making Sunset smile as well. "Anyways, what are you guys going to do now?"
"Well, at Canterlot High, we're gonna have this Halloween Event for our school's fundraiser on Friday night." Sunset said to them. "Hey, you guys could come too! Since you guys will be wearing customs, no one will recognize you guys."
"Ooh! That's sounds fun!" Pepper said with a grin before looking at her mom. "Can we, mom? Can we? Can we? Pleaseee!" Pepper begged Zelda Jolly, who chuckled at her daughter's pleading.
"Since we're staying here for a week, why not? After all, it is also your vacation." Zelda Jolly said, earning a cheer from Pepper and laughter from Sunset and Willa. "By the way, what school are you from?"
"Canterlot High." Sunset answered, earning a happy gasping from Zelda Jolly. "What's wrong?"
"I LOVE CH!" Zelda Jolly exclaims happily, "I used to go there when I was your age."
"Really?" Sunset asked curiously.
"Well, actually, every four years, during the Friendship Games." Zelda Jolly said, earning a curious look from the group, "I actually studied at Crystal Prep."
"Ah, yes, Crystal Prep, the private, competitive, and snobbish school. That always beats Canterlot High every year in the friendship games and brags about it by vandalization." Onyx Star mutters, remembering how he used to study there before being shipped to the all-boys school.
"It wasn't always like that." Zelda Jolly said, "It was once a fun place of education. We were never competitive towards CH, we were once friends, getting long and having fun. I remember Ferno and Shady would love to play the games."
"Ferno and...Shady?" Sunset asked in confusion.
"Oh, nicknames of my fellow classmates. My older brother Inferno Blade and Sombra, his Best Friend." Zelda said cheerfully.
"What?! Get out! You're friends with them?" Sunset asked in shock, remembering the magazine she read about the three richest people in the world.
"Yup! My brother Inferno Blade and Sombra were the best players in Crystal Prep. All the girls were fawning over them. But I know them very well, they were not interested in them as they had the hots with some girls in CH." Zelda Jolly said playfully with a smile as she released a sigh, "Those were the days and right after we graduated, we started doing our businesses."
"And then Principal Grinch took over." Onyx Star mutters out.
"Grinch?" Sunset asked in confusion.
"Cinch. Her name is Principal Cinch. She's the principal of that school and is very strict in making it... 'perfect'." Zelda Jolly said in somewhat annoyance. "She always believed that Crystal Prep should always be the best school."
"I take it you don't like her that much." Erebus said to Zelda Jolly.
"No joke here, Principal Cinch even tried to convince me to put Peppy and Willy into her school as honor students. As if I will allow my precious girls to go to that competitive school." Zelda Jolly said sternly.
"That bad, huh?" Sunset asked Pepper and Willa.
"Yup, mom makes sure that me and Will have homeschool and hired private tutors for us." Pepper said.
"Let's not talk about that right now." Willa said kindly as she looked at Sunset, "After all, we should find some costumes to wear for the party!"
"Yeah!" Pepper cheered in agreement.
"That's great! It will be fun for you and Pepper." Sunset said happily.
"But I have one request." Willa said, smiling at her.
"And that is?" Sunset asked curiously.
"If you allow me to perform at your Halloween Event as a surprise concert!" Willa said happily.
Sunset gasped in shock, "Really?! That would be awesome! My friends and classmates would flip their heads if they see you and Pepper." She said, smiling at the girls.
"Yeah, they will! This is gonna be the best Halloween ever!" Pepper cheered happily. Everyone chuckled at her in amusement while Onyx Star smirks at her. Knowing very well that it was going to be eventful. Pepper then took out her phone, "Hey, let's take a pic to remember this day!"
"Sure." Sunset said in agreement while Erebus nodded his head.
"I'm gamed." Willa agrees as well.
They all turned to Onyx Star, who looked at them, awaiting for his answer. He gave a blank look as he releases a sigh and agrees, "Fine."
The girls grinned as Pepper readied her phone to do a selfie. "All right, everyone, say CHEESE!" Pepper said happily.
"CHEESE!" Everyone, minus Onyx Star, exclaims happily with a smile while Onyx Star just gave a smirk.
And with that, the camera flashed, revealing the picture of a happy group in the phone. A way to remember the fun time they had.
