What crazy really means

(This took longer than it should've, but I'm proud of it. Enjoy.)

It was so dark. Not a calm darkness but a maddening one, filled with the screams of people who were just as badly off as he was. He was gaunt and chained to the wall, for how long? He had no idea, it could've been days, weeks, maybe even months since he got caught by those two psychopaths. Everything he'd been going through whenever they decided to pay a visit to him, or any of the other people here really. "Why can't they just let us die? Why do they have to keep doing this to us?"

"Because it's so fun!" Oh no. Oh god no. Right there on the ceiling of his cell was that same blue haired woman with that mask on… he couldn't see her face but that tone showed how much of a smile she had. "I just love getting to see how much you can scream before you finally slip away!" Graceful as a cat, she fell onto the cold stone floor of the cell with a kunai in her hand.

His body was so drained from everything that they'd done to him for so long that he didn't even have it in him to try and plead for his mental health. All he could do was sit there and wait for whatever she'd do to him. The purple liquid dripping from that metal implied she'd be using some sort of poison this time, okay now he was actually more concerned for whatever was going to happen.

"Tsubashi." Things just went from bad to worse with that masculine voice being outside the cell. Almost six feet tall and wearing sleeveless armor like anbu would, rectangular glasses on his face. "You'll have to have your fun with weasel later, Father is asking us to come to him. We shouldn't keep him waiting."

Tsubashi looked disappointed at that news but she threw the tainted kunai into the wall right beside the man's head. "If Father needs us then I'll go, but don't get too comfy." Her yellow eyes were staring at the decrepit man with such glee that it made his haggard skin crawl with fear for his life. "Do you know what's going on? It has to be something important if it needs us both."

He didn't respond to her questioning and just kept the two of them walking through the dark corridors and- Okay why did all these underground hideouts have to be dark? Nobody could have a normal sense of light for someplace? Maybe there was a megalomaniac who actually preferred you be able to see in their base instead of just needing some sort of night vision to get around. It's just overdone and-

"Ah you're both here." He was too busy in that internal process to realize they were in a security camera room with their Father now. At least he didn't sit on some elegant throne like he was a King compared to anyone else. Just a man with his own plans and goals, that's how people got respect which went so much farther than just fear. "Ordinarily something like this wouldn't be much of an issue but something tells me you both should investigate."

Tsubashi stood there in perfect silence for whatever her father could have for her, and the other man present put a hand on his hip. "What's the situation then father? Is someone directly threatening us?" He started reaching for something on his back but the raised hand of his father stopped him.

"Nothing that simple. Look at monitor six." He pointed to the screen in question and right there in high resolution was a young man carrying a child of around three years on his shoulders with a smile on her face. "You see what I see? One of the most threatening things I can lay my eyes on."

Tsubashi understood the point without even needing to ask, it was so obvious. "A child." That man sitting at the cameras turned to his daughter with such disappointment that he couldn't even stand to correct her himself. He just turned to his other child with slow breathing and slowly rising blood pressure.

"Takeshi… please correct your sister." The sound of a light slap across her head wasn't exactly what he meant. "Tell her what I was talking about!"

The both of them flinched back. Their father raising their voice wasn't something that happened often and they were right to be scared. Context clues! He didn't have any idea of who this was but if Father expects him to know then it's disappointing that he doesn't! "The- That's someone significant I'd imagine, but I'm not sure of who it is Father."

"I'm somewhat surprised. He's a decently ranked person in the bingo books after all and I'm even more surprised that he has a child with him, nothing about his entry says anything about liking having to deal with kids." The gears started turning and he looked closer and closer at the little girl and the man whose shoulders she was so happily being carried on, her black hair and eyes matching his- "It can't be… With the profile he has there's no way that girl- Oh you've just made yourself even more valuable! Tsubashi, Takeshi."

Both of his children stood at attention with a nervous sweat slowly working on their foreheads beneath the demonic mask of one and the glasses of the other. Takeshi clenched his fists and reaffirmed himself in the face of the greatest man he knows. "Yes Father!"

Tsubashi was stiff like a cadaver. The idea of going on a direct mission given by the man she revered brought a smile to her face below her already grinning mask. "How can we help you Father?" Smooth as silk and laced with obedience, a voice fitting a trained killer who knew only one person as her commander.

"You both have a clear goal and I need you to execute it perfectly." He faced them both and curled his fingers into the stereotypical villain pyramid. The Order of Shadows is my group of very talented killers, the both of you…" Now he pointed at them, a smile oozing with pride going across his angled features. "You're the zenith of this group and I trust you both to accomplish any goal I have in mind, that's why I'm trusting you both with this mission."

Takeshi was realizing where this was going and he glanced at the monitor to see the little girl getting off that young man's shoulders, and the back of his high collared shirt was proudly showing off a symbol that made Takeshi squint in thought. He'd encountered a couple of those in person before but none of them were worth his attention, now there was one that his Father pointed out to him and decided both he and his sister had to pursue. It was all such a rush to think about how fun breaking the-

"You're to convince him to join us, preferably without having to maim him too much. Here, take these earpieces so I can funnel any information that you need right to you." He handed off those black pieces of silicone, plastic, and sensitive wiring and his children placed them into their ears without question. "Now first things first I should at least give you a name to start with, Takeshi I recommend you do the talking… at least introductions and all that."

"Yes Father." Wait there was the important factor of a third party here. "What about the girl with him?"

Oh right that was a variable. Well if everything that's been recorded about him was true then he shouldn't really care what happened to her. "I'm only after him. If he has some attachment then include her on the deal, and if not then just get rid of her." With all the care of a man swatting a fly he turned back to the monitors and looked at that man pulling out a kunai with a smile. "Now first is a name. That man- Hm. Well he's not even twenty yet. Alright so that boy is named-"

A grey long sleeve and dark blue shorts. She was barefoot like an innocent child playing in the grass would be however. "Papa." She stumbled towards the black pant leg in front of her, her chubby face smiling with glee at the man wearing those pants."I wove you!" She had a hard time pronouncing her L's but that- Wow. His heart was not something that could be swayed in any direction regardless of what someone could try on him… but the ice cold walls around his very being melted at the adorable little girl in front of him, so much that he dropped his kunai and immediately crouched down to ruffle this girl's short hair.

"Don't tell anyone I said this… but I like spending time with you too Kanna." The corners of his mouth were slightly upturned and his eyes were actually looking at her with kindness instead of the usual amalgam of feelings that he usually had towards people… primarily anger and disgust. "Especially don't tell her I said it. She won't let me live it down." He took a second to adjust the red chokuto sheath at his lower back and push the gold, diamond shaped guard of the sword firmly into place.

The confused expression on her face quickly reminded him that this was a three year old girl and she couldn't follow a sentence like that. "Mama?" Or at least she wouldn't follow most of it.

"Just don't tell mama… she'd tease me til I die." Immediately the little girl wrapped him up in her diminutive arms as best she could. "What's wrong with you?"

"I don' wan' papa t' die!" Her sudden emotional flood ruined her already limited speech, but the feeling of two things tapping her forehead both pushed her back and made her feel so much more comfortable. "Please, papa don' die!"

Okay now his sweet girl was thinking that he'd die? Like at all. Unacceptable. "Kanna. Don't ever think that I'd die to any background ass ninja." The hairs on the back of his neck pricked up and he turned to see two people walking out of the tree line towards them… and their outfits gave away what their plans probably were. "Who the fuck are you two?"

"Tell him the basics. Invite him into the Order." They heard through their receivers and the two young adults nodded.

"Our names aren't important but we wanted to extend an opportunity to you, Kotetsu Uchiha, to join our group." Takeshi was the one who would do most of the talking here. He was the more charismatic person between him and his sister so it was for the best. "We're a simple group of highly skilled assassins led by a great man with great goals."

"Our Father to be specific." Tsubashi couldn't help but cut in once her brother mentioned that amazing man. You couldn't blame her since their Father was a cut above the rest and she knew that more than anyone else. "He manages everything we do and makes sure that we all-"

"Fuck your father."

A gentle breeze carefully tousled the grass and made their clothes. Maybe the wind was caused by the hidden aggression of those words, maybe it was just coincidence, but that calm wind stopped and once it did that gave Takeshi the chance to speak.

"What the fuck did you just say?!" His arms were tense and he was itching to reach for something- anything to correct what he just heard from this nobody!

"Did you just disrespect the greatest man I know? In three words?" Tsubashi was already drawing a naginata but her Father's voice stopped her in her tracks.

"Hear him out. Maybe he has something of substance to say." Someone who was so crass and yet surprisingly smart wouldn't just leave it at a three word insult. There's more to this and he knew it.

"I said, 'Fuck your father' okay. He's not here is he?" Kotetsu splayed his arms out and looked around the clearing, even gesturing to the river ten meters away. "First of all, I work alone unless someone who I listen to makes me." That was one finger on his right hand to signify however many reasons he was about to give them.

"Second, I'd never work for some pussy who sends out his two little crotch goblins to come ask me to join his little club." He gestured to all of the blue haired siblings in a sign of what was wrong with them from the bottom up. In his eyes there was a lot wrong with this picture of some fill-in characters trying to convince him what to do.

"Third, if you're his kids then I can already tell he's weak as all hell. I mean come on, some basic bitch with a mask that looks like a gay demon clown face." Now he was looking at Takeshi and squinted in disgust. "And some daddy's boy with fruity glasses and probably no mom. I'd be more surprised if your mom gets drunk on a couch and wishes she swallowed the both of you, at least that's my second option since my first one is that she came out of the closet after getting some weak dick from your beta-ass dad."

There was a soft tugging on his pant leg and he crouched down to meet the girl while the temperature in the field started rising by a few degrees at a time. "Papa, what's a beta-ass?"

Kotetsu grinned and took the girl's small hand in his own. "It's a guy who brings two blue haired kids into the world who probably identify as they/them just to feel special instead of actually struggling with their identity." She didn't follow most of that and she wouldn't have a chance to since a boiling point was finally reached.

"Kill him. Kill him right now! Kill him and make that girl watch!"

Tsubashi ran with that polearm in her grasp and started a sweeping rush of attacks that Kotetsu evaded, daughter in a close grip and a smile on his face despite being assailed with blood on the mind. "I'll make you understand what our Father put into us." He jumped back and set his daughter down while Takeshi pulled out a scroll. "Strict training made us great at what we do. I can't wait to make you writhe in pain for what you said."

She pulled out a small vial of purple liquid and poured it onto the blade of her weapon. Another rush in that Kotetsu matched and the two were trading blunt force with blunt force. Punches connected to the reinforced material of her naginata and her strikes missed any attacks that would have broken the skin and introduced poison into his body. They weren't equals in this close exchange however since her attacks were landing more but his were making her wince ever so slightly.

"It's kinda disrespectful if I keep fighting with my hands when you have a weapon right?" His sandal planted against the length of her weapon and pushed her back enough for him to put his right hand behind himself. "I wouldn't wanna make it look like I don't care about a fair fight."

Takeshi revealed a weapon of his own in a puff of white smoke and Kotetsu's eyes gleaned for a moment once he saw it. Intricate design and appearance with synthetic alloys making up most of its design. Then there were the main attractions at both ends, bright purple chakra blades with a slightly ethereal appearance.

'The Double Moon Prototype… that thing costs a small fortune to get…' He waived those thoughts and brought his left hand up while the girl started coming back towards him. "Just let me draw my sword first!"

She swung right for his chest with a smile below her own mask. "I insist that you do!"

"Tsubashi, don't miss him!"

A flash of crimson. A flock of birds chirping. It was in an instant.

Tsubashi looked at her hands and saw the weapon she preferred most in three pieces, two in her hands and the middle on the ground. Her attention went behind her to see Kotetsu clashing a lightning chakra enhanced sword against her brother. "That's unexpected. He used lightning style to enhance his attack and cut my weapon up, but that red… it was so beautiful!" She unfurled her own scroll and looked for the perfect weapon to back her sibling up.

Meanwhile there was a rapid clashing of a twin chakra bladed sword and a well made chokuto with rapid chirps coming from the blade. "So this is the skill of an Uchiha?" Takeshi swung and Kotetsu jumped over the oversized weapon to drop his heel onto blue hair and kick off. The casual disrespect aside, Takeshi turned and used his weapon to collide with Kotetsu's again. "I remember in your data, it said you weren't fully sane. That makes all three of us!"

The Uchiha's response was to raise his sword and use his leg to block a low kick from this background ninja. "Don't try to compare our crazy, asshole. You aren't anything like me." Honed instincts persuaded him to duck and move left to escape a pincer with only a sting on his cheek instead of a lost head entirely. "Ooh, almost." His crimson eyes with three spinning tomoe locked onto the umbrella like weapon in her hands but it was also a chakra enhanced ninja tool, god he hated dealing with these things in the hands of a random extra.

A grin cracked beneath that mask and she opened the scientific ninja tool to display each panel, lined with sharply angled chakra spikes. "Not almost, I hit you. That poison is fast and it'll bring you down in under a minute." She dashed at him with the bladed umbrella ripping into the ground at her side but his attention split once he heard something whizzing through the air, and he was very right to plant his sword in the ground and send his foot upwards behind himself.

Takeshi's sneak attack would've killed a lesser person but for this Uchiha it was just a little too loud. "Just outlast him until the poison breaks him down." A simple command and Takeshi recovered to run in and join his sister. They both watched Kotetsu slam his hands into the ground and a giant puff of smoke erupted to throw them off his trail.

'He's hiding? No. He summoned something.' Tsubashi kept going and didn't falter at the giant spider that appeared and leapt over her before dropping a brood of fist sized spiderlings into the air. 'A swarming attack? Too easy.' She twirled the bladed umbrella and let it go flying towards the Uchiha, then she started weaving hand seals and inhaled. 'Suiton: Suishōha.' (Water Style: Water Shockwave). A colossal flood of water spewed from her mask and the airborne umbrella started releasing a rain of blue chakra spikes onto the spiders. Drowning and being impaled by blades of chakra, the poor spiderlings were born just to die.

Takeshi started whirling his dual bladed sword and minced every arachnid that came his way into a bloody paste. "Tsubashi's mixture should be taking effect now!" He watched the yellow skinned spider summoner bring the little girl beside the giant spider in a blur of grey.

Kotetsu stood up and turned his red eyes towards the woman catching her scientific umbrella weapon and the guy spinning that moon sword at his spiders. That scratch on his cheek started stinging a little bit more but that discomfort quickly faded as he coyly smiled at the two victims of his next bloodletting.

The water, spider blood, and rain of chakra spikes finally stopped and the eyes of two siblings looked Kotetsu up and down, the only damage being a minor scrape on his pant leg. "The poison-!" Deep blue lightning streaked across the soaked ground and a sword collided with a ninja tool.

"Won't work jackass!" Kotetsu and Takeshi started a powerful contest of sword slashes and the occasional violent kick, courtesy of the sharingan owner. "You were banking on that poison weren't you?"

He was smiling right at Takeshi's bewildered face. Each of Kotetsu's strikes was faster than a normal person would ever keep up with but the assassin he was facing was just managing to keep pace with those blows. The lightning style chakra wasn't even focused primarily on speeding him up, it was enhancing his mental capacities by pushing his nervous system to an upper limit.

"You really think I wouldn't make sure no weak ass punk who'd abuse poison would beat me?!" He ducked below Tsubashi's attempt to chop his head off and turned to stab his sword into the ground. "Chidori Nagashi!"(Thousand Birds Stream). A random and constant stream of lightning rushed from the spot he stabbed, and once it touched the siblings they shook like abandoned puppies in a snowstorm.

"-ison! He can't- Get up!" The communicator was on the fritz based on that broken sentence, and Tsubashi was trying to get control over her body again.

Takeshi managed to keep his body from entirely shutting off and the six foot weapon he had definitely worked great as a cane. "Her poison is made to set a nervous system on fire, even a giant elephant couldn't survive that so how did you?"

Oh that was a very obvious answer. "I summon spiders dumbdick! I experiment with venoms and toxins all the time just to make sure that no basic bitches like you could kill me like that, my kidneys are so strong that I can turn a bottle of whiskey into clear piss no problem." The paralysis on his enemies wasn't permanent and they finally snapped out of it. "But I do it better than anyone else!"

Tsubashi formed a few hand seals and three spiraling cones of water blasted from the drenched ground, drilling towards Kotetsu like their namesake. 'Suiton: Suigadan.' (Water Style: Water Fang Bullet). He was surrounded on all sides by deadly drills of water and now there was a cluster of those blue spikes coming for him. "There's no dodging this one, those pretty eyes will be mine! All mine!" Odds weren't on Kotetsu's side and Tsubashi loved that.

Kanna watched this fight from the safety of the spider matron's large legs. Any other kid her age would be petrified at the idea of a giant spider being her protective shield, but Kanna was abnormal in every sense of the word… at least as abnormal as you'd expect her to be considering her heritage. It was especially strange how she found comfort in the furry leg of the matron while her papa proved how awesome he was.

"Don't be afraid, young Kanna. Lord Kotetsu wouldn't dare lose to anyone of such… low cunning." Two out of six black eyes were looking directly at the little girl who was staring right back with a slowly growing smile of pure joy. She didn't understand that last part but she did understand how her papa wouldn't lose against these guys.

"You can do it papa! Go for the eyes!" It was so nice to have such a sweet little girl on your side.

Kotetsu pulled his sword up and twirled it in his right hand, grinning like the madman he was. Dodging these attacks wouldn't have been entirely impossible… but he liked showing off. A barrage of attacks all slipped right through his- Wait a second. Slipped through? Each of the water drills and chakra spikes slammed into each other while Kotetsu stood unbothered, and he was unbothered since they didn't touch him at all.

Four black lines came from his blood red outer iris while his pupil grew into a sideways, shuriken-shaped, mark with four pointed ends. The lines connected to the mark between its points and gave the effect of his eyes looking like shattered glass. He was present but he wasn't there, pulled in between the current world and one of his own.

"So not that poison's out, you two gonna fight for real? Otherwise I'll kill you both right fucking now."

Takeshi slammed his sandal down on the last baby spider then tapped the frame of his glasses in thought. "Lightning and fire style. We have wind, water, and earth. The only real question here is how you just… didn't get hit, but I think it's temporary."

"Wow so you're a nerd. Your theory is right, Kamui only lasts about three minutes for my full body." His right hand clenched his sword hard enough for his tendons to spring up. "You can counter my jutsu, my reverse sword grip, and sorta when I kick you in the face… but you can't counter my Kamui."

"Who cares about your No touch rule? You said it has a time limit, once it's done I'll have your pretty eyes for myself!" Tsubashi sealed the umbrella weapon back into a scroll and replaced it with a black guandao, complete with a shining silver blade.

Kotetsu blinked at that last part but smiled when he digested it fully. "You collect sharingan? Same here, but I stick with those reject genetic freaks!" He burst ahead and clashed his sword against Takeshi's, and then kicked off against the ninja tool to weave three one handed seals in the air. 'Katon: Gōkakyū no jutsu!' (Fire style: Fireball Jutsu). He blew a concentrated ball of fire towards Tsubashi and like clockwork she started her own jutsu to counter him.

"Suiton: Teppōdama!" (Water style: Liquid Bullets). Three large bullets of water collided with the flames and filled the air with hot steam. Tsubashi ran ahead and swung her weapon into the ground, slashing it like a hot knife to warm butter. "He should've landed there." She turned and split the mist with a powerful slash but the only thing she saw was her brother recovering from a-

"Surprise!"

A left hook out of nowhere. The only thing she saw was the Uchiha for a split second and then he was gone. She regrouped with her brother and they stood back to back, waiting for the next-

"Nice try!" Takeshi blocked a foot aimed at his chest but he didn't get a chance to attack since Kotetsu slipped into thin air again! "How's he disappearing like that? You laced the mist with your chakra, we should be the ones hidden!" His reflexes caused him to lash out and- That would've killed a normal person but the blade of his chakra weapon passed through Kotetsu's throat harmlessly… and then a long cut manifested across his chest. 'Damn!'

The mist started clearing, the vapor focusing on Tsubashi's weapon and centering at the blade to form a water enhanced edge. She took the opportunity to try and give him a real cut compared to what he just did to her brother, and she aimed right for his legs! 'Still not out of time!' Her weapon passed through his legs harmlessly and he gave a reverse rising kick as response for that transgression, it missed but the idea was what mattered.

"So close but so far. Hope you're ready cause I'm coming for you both!" His declaration was true, he bolted for Tsubashi and clashed his sword against her staff, his right hand started forming seals to burn this bitch like-! His tunnel vision kept him from responding to the bullet of air that just crashed into his side, cracking some ribs.

While the Uchiha sailed through the air, Takeshi was putting his plan into motion so they could pin down their elusive opponent. 'It hasn't been three whole minutes so there's a trick to it.' The draft of wind from his powerful blast of air gave him an opportunity to end this now and he used it, a quick infusion of his chakra with the air itself and the move was ready.

Kotetsu rotated and used his exemplary chakra control to stick his blade to the bottom of his sandal and kick it towards the plotting nerd. He missed but that wasn't important, not like the sword wouldn't be right back in his hands again momentarily. Sticking the landing, Kotetsu started avoiding long strikes from Tsubashi's assault. She was surprisingly good with that thing and since his limit was getting closer it was better to actually evade instead of getting halfway hit and actually getting hurt.

"You're dodging now? Doesn't matter." She scraped his shirt. "My brother already set up your loss." His pant leg was now revealing his yellow skin. "It's his best move." This time Kotetsu caught her weapon in his hands and tried to stare in her eyes but she averted them instantly.

"Smart girl, are we using our ultimates already?! I wanted to milk things more!" He elbowed her in the temple and roundhoused her to get some distance and- "Huh?" He rubbed his ear to make sure he was hearing right but… something was whispering in his ear.

Takeshi's plan was coming together. "Shinda Sasayaki." (Deathly Whispers). A genjutsu designed to drive anyone insane. Perfect for catching a dangerous fighter off guard since nobody ever expected to start hearing random whispering in a fight. He charged Kotetsu and was ready to severely injure him right then and there but that's where he really got surprised. A spiraling distortion in the air and that chokuto was back in his grip… just not fast enough to block a double attack from both him and Tsubashi.

This time he used his left forearm to stop himself from getting gored by that guandao while his sword deflected the moonsword just barely, but there was still the problem of the other blade from the scientific weapon coming for him. 'Oh boy!' He pulled his left arm in and jumped over the second blade with a quick inhale. 'Katon: Haijingakure no jutsu.' (Fire style: Hiding in ash jutsu). A spray of burning ash and smoke filled the air long enough to burn the eyes of two blue haired siblings. The two of them jumped away from the black cloud and landed on the river running beside the clearing.

"Takeshi! Dragon!" The two of them put their weapons on their backs and started flying through seals, the water around them surging and flowing to match the chakra rushing into it and shaping it into an attack.

"If we go into that ash cloud it'll be square one again, our best bet is to blow it all away." Simple strategy, would it work?

"Suiton: Suiryudan!" (Water style: Water Dragon Bullet). A giant dragon shaped mass of water with amber eyes rose from the surface of the river and coursed onto the cloud of ash, sending black water across the clearing and into the tree line. No sign of the Uchiha. "He must be taking cover somewhere, don't let your guard down for a second!" They didn't move a single step away from where they were, listening and looking close to find where-

Tsubashi found herself being pushed away from where she was and her brother was right with her, in a tackle to get them off the river. The answer became clear once another water dragon slammed against where they were and a column of water surged into the air.

"Nice move, I've never actually seen someone use the water dragon. I hope you don't mind that I stole it." So unapologetically badass in his execution. He cleared the river in one jump and stopped to hear that same annoying whispering again! "Okay what the fuck is that?!" That momentary distraction was perfect for Tsubashi to slam her hands into the ground and shift the earth around her.

Kotetsu lost his footing as a borehole opened under him and the earth yanked him into the ground straight under, control wasn't an option he had as the soil and rock closed behind him and left the ground almost unchanged. Onikiri. (Demon Drill). That jutsu was dangerous and of her own creation. "Dragging him down to the mantle of the earth, no human can survive that temperature. But those pretty eyes… they're gone." She sounded legitimately sad. Big brother mode kicked in.

"Don't worry Tsubashi, I'll find ten people with pretty eyes and carve them out just for you." He calmly patted her head to calm her down and he quickly reminded himself of their little spectator. "Now what will we do about her?"

Kanna was looking all around to try and find out where papa went. He just went 'poof' into the ground, that wasn't right! "Where's papa?!" She tried to run to get a closer look but the spider matron stopped her with a furry leg. "Spider mama? We have to find-"

Boom

They both stopped and what probably served as a smile went across the spider's features. "It's as I said before… their low cunning wouldn't match his ability, look closely." Kanna looked back at the siblings and saw them covering their ears, aggressively at that. Like something was screaming at them and they just wanted to block it all out.

"Takeshi! He reversed your genjutsu!" Tsubashi pulled out a senbon and stabbed it into the back of her hand, clearing her focus and giving enough of a reality check to stop the loud whispering going in her ears. "He shouldn't even be alive, how could he reverse the whispers?!"

BOOM

This time it was so much more clear and since the earth started cracking where the borehole was, it was clear that something was getting ready to split the ground and rear its head. The time for games was over! The water coating Tsubashi's weapon started rippling and growing violent, and Takeshi pushed his glasses slightly further up on his face.

No loud warning this time. An ethereal, bone, sharp nailed, and silver hand tore through the ground and it was followed by another sharp hand made of the same ethereal bone. A giant ribcage of silver bone erupted from the split earth and inside of it was a grinning young man with a scratch on his head and light bruises on his arms.

"Holy shit that was something… Headhunter got nothing on that jutsu, if I were some basic bitch then I'd have been fucked." He stood up and rubbed some bloody tears away from his face, still grinning so happily. "Made me use the Susano'o… And here I was gonna kill you both the boring way, now you get to die by my sword!" He started pulling his weapon out of that spiraling warp in reality and the siblings prepared another combination attack.

"Tsubashi." Layering his wind chakra and inhaling, Takeshi had his part.

"I'll match you." Molding water in the air and on the ground to synchronize her attack with his.

"Kumiawase: Mizu Kaze Kajiri." They were in sync and so was their attack. The air was filled with powerful crescent shaped blades of wind and disc like masses of water, all of which had an incredible cutting force if that innocent tree had anything to say about it. (Blades of Water and Wind).

Kotetsu saw that this one would possibly hit Kanna and that pissed him off. Those giant silver hands slammed into the ground and sent him right in front of the spider matron and his daughter. "An attack like this doesn't mean shit!" The arms lashed out and blocked blade after blade, mass of chakra after mass of chakra, cracking and splintering but not wavering. Kotetsu's sword coated with lightning chakra and he took to slicing each and every one of the seemingly endless attacks. "I can fully predict the movements in those, seeing right through whatever they do!" He slashed downwards and cleared two blades of wind. "An all encompassing attack won't-!" One did.

Kanna's eyes widened as she saw blood spray into the air and a sword fall to the ground. She'd never seen her papa take such a hit and the shock was warranted as the arm hit the ground.

"… Is that it?" Even with blood coming from what was left of his forearm and exposed bone marrow from the clean cut… he wasn't fazed. "You used those two as a diversion for a water blade, that's sorta smart… for a genin at least."

Takeshi started to laugh even though both his sister and Kotetsu were oddly calm. Oh right the whispers. He dispelled that genjutsu and finally had some quiet again. "You just lost an arm and you're still talking big? Maybe your profile was too hyped. You aren't crazy, just stupid." The arm was sucked into the same mystery place and all that was left behind was a bloody patch of grass.

Now it was personal.

The arms and ribcage dissipated into the air, no longer needed. "Hey, fuckstick." He used his foot to pick his sword up and caught it in his left hand… then he performed a masterful spinning trick and returned his sword to a reverse grip. "I'm left handed. I used my right hand this whole time to help you out, but now my kindness is gone." A hand by his mouth and things were off. From more distortions came a barrage of fuma shuriken and from his mouth came large fireballs to coat them, burning metal wasn't safe for humans. "Katon: Hōsenka Tsumetaka." (Pheonix Flame Eagle Claw).

Takeshi and Tsubashi deflected the giant flaming shuriken without a problem but the distraction caused by them all being sucked into who knows where left them open for an aerial slash. Tsubashi took a heavy gash to her left shoulder and down her bicep, while Takeshi had a cut down his forearm that took his ring and little finger. The real fight was starting now.

An electrified sword struck a ninja tool and immediately switched over to fending off a water laced guandao, barely even a split second of rest between swapping targets allowed. Despite having only one arm right now, Kotetsu was certainly swinging for two people. 'He's so fast!' Tsubashi was understanding more and more how this guy was such a target to Father!

"Don't- up! He's- in!' Broken words of guidance were no use.

The speed of their attacks was only growing more and more with each passing second. Birds chirping, a rushing river, warping metallic sounds. All evidence of the grit being put into this collision.

"Think fast." The ribs and arms came back and punched both the siblings away like trash! The space in front of the Uchiha warped and the air was filled with shuriken, flaming shuriken, wind blades, and circular water blades.

Tsubashi and Takeshi finally landed to see the absolute swarm of projectiles coming at them and they quickly took up a defense in repelling everything. 'That's not possible! He took in things we threw at him?!' They tried their hardest to make sure they didn't end up crippled just like he was but some things slipped through their teamwork and left even more cuts on their skin. The barrage finally stopped and- OH NO! An angry Kotetsu running towards you full speed put survival at the top of your fucking list!

His sword had enough room to catch both of theirs and the force behind his charge threw them all into the air like sailing birds. A skeletal hand clawed into the ground and let one of them land properly quickly, while the other two barely managed to recover long enough to get ready for his assault. They all rushed in and started swinging for everything they were worth.

"Nnnhaaa!"

Powerful blades of wind whipped through the air. Chopping anything in their pathway with absolute prejudice. Trees were robbed of their canopies, the ground was carved like a bird dinner, any innocent animals that didn't manage to get the hell out of dodge up to now were butchered in the wake of this all encompassing backlash of swings from the enhanced weapon.

"Urraaaah!"

Giant discs of water ripped through the ground like it was paper against tempered steel, and there were even the large splashes that would deal extra damage to the ground and rip up more soil. Nothing other than the most durable of bedrock stood a chance against the constant barrage of chakra enhanced water and yet it still filled the air with a vengeance.

"Buchikorosuda!"

A thousand birds all chirping at once, easily the loudest noise other than the screaming people in this forest. Lightning streaked through the air and collided with powerful blades of wind, and a scientific ninja tool. Water clashed with lightning enhanced slashes, losing its power and cutting edge. There was a cycle of elements that beat one another but that was general knowledge, what really mattered was how they were used and how skillful was the person using them.

With one full powered swing from them all, the air pressure rose enough to explode and send them all flying backwards. Takeshi stood up fast enough to see a foot slam into his body and send him straight through a tree.

No time to see if her brother was okay, Kotetsu was swinging at her again! Their attacks met and she had to work to avoid his eyes again. "These eyes have more than illusions!" A skeletal hand dropped down onto where she'd been and another one followed where she was going. His Susano'o was slamming into the ground, trying to make a bloody pancake with each attack. The ribcage cracked when something slammed into the back of it. 'It's hard enough dealing with feeling like I'm on fire, don't break my damn armor.' The spine grew and formed a skull with a devilish grin and glowing white eyes, the finishing touch was the demonic horns that curled against the skull. Now there was an entire skeletal upper body protecting Kotetsu.

Takeshi watched the chakra armor get even bigger and repair the damage he put so much in just to cause it like it was nothing. "No wonder Father wanted us both to handle this… but even now it's starting to get harder on us." He started flanking this thing and decided to throw his double moon sword like a giant shuriken, and it struck home colliding against the base of the Susano'o… it just didn't do anything. "Tsk! Come back." Since it was bound with his chakra, the weapon was like a boomerang and started spinning back to him.

"Nope!" He left the Susano'o and its safety just to jump in the air and violently slash the weapon with his own, but not at the blades, this time he attacked the handle and sliced the tool right in half. Then his skeletal avatar grabbed both halves and crushed them in its hands. "That thing was really making my skin crawl." The blood coming from his eyes wasn't impeding his mannerisms at all. "It's funny. They'll have to change the GPS after today, since nothing here looks like it did two hours ago." Even if that was a joke, he was so relaxed about this situation. The cuts and scratches didn't bother him. His entire body feeling like he was being stabbed all over, unfazed. His right arm being cut off? Nothing.

"You really are stupid." Tsubashi's attack would've landed on a lesser man but the bone hand of Kotetsu's avatar stopped her weapon with a wailing screech. Her plan was to strike once he was out of his indestructible armor but it looks like even outside of it he was safe, now how safe was she?! He drove his elbow into her gut and kicked her across the face while she fell down, then picked her up with his single hand and flung her towards her brother. 'Went better… in my head.'

"Get up! Get up the both of you!"

Right they had a mission from Him. They didn't have an excuse to lay around like this. They both stood up slowly and while Takeshi didn't have a weapon he'd still pull one out of another scroll if he had to. Tsubashi struggled to hold her own weapon up properly but she didn't let go, Father demanded that she keep going.

"Man, you're both persistent." He started raising his right hand but immediately remembered that- uh- that wasn't an option. He drove his sword into the dirt and raised his left hand, lightning coating it. "Chidori Senbon." He waved the hand and sent dozens- no, he sent hundreds of Chidori needles towards them both.

"Futon: Daitoppa." (Wind Style: Great Breakthrough). A blast of wind dispersed the needles and would've done something to the yellow Uchiha but his Susano'o blocked the gust with a single arm, growing sinew over the bone. 'It just keeps turning more humanoid…' Takeshi could see that this was getting more and more annoying but there wasn't any choice in giving up. "I guess we're just a little crazy. No wait, we're very crazy!"

"I want those eyes. I'll remember you as the only one who really could've beat us together! The broken look is so nice, it's unique."

The drivel they started talking about wasn't important. What was that first part he said? Something about thinking they were crazy? The sinew and muscle started growing over more of the bones. Covering the entire Susano'o with a muscular appearance, but that wasn't the end. Skin layered over the muscle then covered the head and horns to give a menacing appearance with that devilish smile. The silver chakra construct was looking so much more menacing just by seeming more human… but clearly demonic in appearance,

"You said you were crazy? You think hurting a couple nobodies in your sex dungeon would count as crazy?" His Susano'o started growling and the air turned heavy with bloodlust. "That's not crazy at all. It sounds like two daddy's girls doing whatever their bitch dad wants them to." There would've been objection if his already oppressing chakra didn't double in its intensity.

Takeshi was starting to feel a cold sweat go down his neck but he didn't lose his cool. Even if this was such a strong feeling of pure bloodlust that it was almost choking him. He could still breathe so there wasn't anything wrong.

Tsubashi was feeling his chakra get more and more oppressive but nothing he had would make her be less than ready to do whatever Father needed from her.

"A pair of little bitches doing whatever daddy asks them isn't crazy. You're dogs following orders… Order is the opposite of crazy!" His Susano'o roared loud enough to pierce the sky and his aura turned noxious. "You think you understand anything about crazy?" He smiled and his crimson eyes shone through the dark fury that he was forcing onto them. "You think you're hot shit?!" He stood ready to take anything they could throw at him, and his avatar was right behind him with its white eyes staring into their souls. "Come on then you little fuckers! I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT CRAZY MEANS!"

It was so heavy. It felt like they were at the bottom of an ocean! How could one person be so suffocating just by standing there?! It was so awful just to be in this presence! A sharp pain in his wrist made Takeshi look and see that he was scratching his arm so badly that he ripped through several veins trying to kill himself just to get out of this ungodly presence!

Tsubashi was choking on this dark chakra. Nobody she ever met has had a presence so outright malevolent and her body wasn't ready to face this! It was even worse than Father being angry at them. It was worse than fighting a bear summon unarmed. It was worse than so many situations she'd actually dealt with and this was him being angry for them saying they were crazy?! This was him after they fought for the last half hour and he lost an arm?! Even if he didn't have much left in him it wouldn't matter if they had to slit their wrists just to be near him.

"Papa!"

Huh? He looked and saw- Oh no. Kanna! His daughter was suffering from him doing this too! The Susano'o lost its skin and then the muscle, leaving the bones to dissipate into a silver mist. He dropped the oppressive aura and ran to his sweet child without hesitation. "Kanna! Are you okay? I didn't mean to do that, these clowns just made me so mad at them!"

"Lord Kotetsu… for future references please be aware of your surroundings… when using your full Killing Intent." Even the spider matron sounded out of breath. While she wasn't the boss summon, she wasn't a pushover. "Using my own presence to cover your offspring took everything out of me… I must be going." In a puff of white smoke she was gone and now he was holding his shaking daughter close to him.

"It's okay Kanna, it… probably won't happen again." No promises, keep that window of failure open if you need to hop out of it. "Just calm down first, it's fine now."

She was shaking like a leaf but she still managed to nod and bring herself closer to normal again. Her breathing slowed down and her clammy skin finally started getting its color back. This was done in a record level of time since both the adults that the threat was directed at were still recovering from its sheer intensity. Kanna was easily going to be built very different.

"Let's go home. I'm done playing with these tools, they aren't even worth my time anymore."

Kanna just looked at him as he stood up and at the tense muscle in his right arm. "Are you just saying that cos' you're low on chakra papa?" His eyes went from the intricate black on red patterns to a simple three tomoe… then to his normal dark pools in the time it took for her to ask that.

"Kanna. If you say that to anyone else, you're grounded for ten years." He turned and walked to his sword while getting some blood on his daughter since he was supporting her weight with the remainder of his right arm. 'Clenching this so hard is getting annoying, but who else can stop blood flow just by flexing?' He used his foot to toss his sword into the air and landed it straight into the sheath, no hands need- no hand needed.

While the Uchiha left the battlefield the siblings were still on their knees and recovering from that raw bloodlust but it didn't escape their ears that Kotetsu was running low at the end. 'In all honesty they could've done him in if Takeshi didn't set him off like that. So much of the fight was scrambled from his lightning style, just great. Now I can't even sell footage to anyone who wants his head. The woes of being such a caring father, but to think that he would have a daughter of his own… this could really help things in the future, but for now I have to recall my own children.'

Author's Notes: Longer, way longer than it shoulda took to get this out. But damn I love writing Kotetsu, and I hope I did the characters justice. See ya next time.
