A/N: Years have passed huh? Damn, I have missed the hype between μ's and the boys of Sanada North High. Must have a long ass writers block because of my unmotivated ass and my planning is too much I guess. μ's and the boys will now finally meet again though this will be the preparation of the program to make sure that the festival arc is a success. Without further ado, Danshi Koukousei and Love Live is back again!
High School Boys and Preparation (Boys Side)
In the student council room at the boys side, Sanada North High student council and Otonokizaka's student council were now on the table as the Vice President was holding a whitebroad marker and writing on what will be the program is all about. Eli, Nozomi and Nico (Since she's the head of the Idol Research Club) did tell the others not to come with since it would cramp the area and it would be like a marketplace since both Honoka and Rin are very vocal to begin with. Waiting, the matured looking delinquent faced the people in the room.
"Today, we will discuss about the plans of this next culture festival."
"Agree," The president nodded in approval while playing Dragon Quest in his Switch, making the third year woman gave a deadpan look. He glanced at them, sweating, "Ummmm... Hello?"
"How the hell is that the president of your school?" Nico just stares at the light skinned male, "You guys are working your ass off while this dumbass is just playing video games."
'Here she is~ Nicocchi is at it again~' Nozomi giggled and closing her eyes while giving the fate of the cards to the group soon.
"Language Nico!" Eli gasped and scolded the "Best Idol" of their school because it wasn't modest for school idols to swear as she shakes her head and regaining her composure, "Anyway, we have an idea that you want us to have a concert here in your school correct?"
"Correct. Since we already have a performance and an idea on our own..." Karasawa stood and gestured the Vice President to give him the marker, he just writes: "Dragon Quest Sequel: Live". Motoharu's eyes went black and was astonished by that plan as he was sweating.
'Why is the President's plan would come to fruition? Ringo-chan already beaten his ass and treating it as a prequel. They are the best school idols in this country and we are talking about a sequel?'
"Why Dragon Quest?!" Nico was flabbergasted with her mouth agape and holding her cheeks together since she knew that these guys are a disaster.
"Ummmm... A video game stage play?" Eli sweat dropped, chuckling nervously because it was a bizarre idea.
"Yeah~" The president replied and he stood up, sitting down on his deck with a smug look on his face writting in such confidence, "I mean, everyone here loves the game so even until today. Every high school boy would be thrilled to see a sequel of a stage play of doing an another Dragon Quest drama."
"Take this seriously!" Nico stood up and slammed her hands on the table before pointing at the boy, "You think that your audience are all high school boys!? Think of the high school girls as well!"
"I agree with Nico here," Eli smiled sheepishly that the boys were getting hyped about the programs, "While your neighbouring school are trying to one up that high school girls can do better than your guys, I mean that drama shows that you aren't that serious."
"Don't get the wrong idea, Ayase-san," Motoharu smirked and trying to make sure that everything is on the line, "There are high school girls who are fans of Dragon Quest and we will make sure that everyone is gonna do their part~"
'Nice follow Motoharu~ They will be impressed of our idea.' The President smiled and closed his eyes.
'You only do that since Eli is there and you want to impress her, dumbass delinquent.' Nico rolled her eyes as she sits down on her chair and crossing both her legs and arms, listening to their obnoxious plans.
"Ya know guys," Nozomi was actually following their pace since she wants to go with the flow and even have a switch on her own, "If ya don't play the game, people would be confused about the plot and would not get the myth references~"
'Why are you siding with them Nozomi? What about our opinions?' Nico sweat dropped when she heard of Nozomi talking and playing video games.
"Okay okay..." The Vice President tapped the whiteboard using his head as he wants everyone to pay attention. He would face the blonde Russian, "Ayase-san, what songs do you want to perform for this festival?"
"Hmmmm..." Now thinking about, its always been Honoka who will suggest songs and has the final word. Closing her eyes, she hummed to avoid pressure. Nozomi giggled because she saw her best friend sweating.
"You guys are fans right? Can you help us too?"
Motoharu and Karasawa were stiff because they remember the threats that was given to the fans as they too are silent when they are included. The Vice President bellowed due to the duo having spirits coming out of their mouth.
"Oi! Don't die in front of them! Just how bad is that message anyway since it distracts our preparation?!"
The President shrugged and stopped playing his switch as he'll be the one to put the songs that μ's will sing for them. He suggested about something for μ's songs, "How about Wonderful Rush?"
Nico looks at the boy with a raised eyebrow since their first impression to this President is just a lazy bum who only plays Dragon Quest even when the trio is trying to help other people via odd jobs. How did she know this? Some students of Otonokizaka were their fans. She nodded since they want to hype up the festival and knowing the high school boys, they want hype which some wants to chill. As for their girl fans? They can be either depending on the mood of their choosing.
"That's a good song since most of our fans want Start;Dash, Yume no Tobira, Bokura no Live as examples. Don't forget Snow Halation too. We have lots of songs to be chosen as request."
"How many songs you girls want?" The Vice President asked an another question for them.
"You guys will perform too right?" The Otonokizaka student council president twirled her strands of hair and answered, "At least five songs to give the time of you guys."
"Five songs?"
"Yeah~" Nozomi smirked and showing a card that represents the Sun which indicates that there is positivity, "Fate decides that the festival will be positive."
Motoharu and Karasawa are now looking at the scenes as they were deep inside, excited and wanted to see how μ's do on stage. The President however though, he is still pushing the Dragon Quest sequel. Nico would then warn the boys.
"Listen here! We are school idols and if one finds out that you are showing a little bit of hints and interests that you have a crush on us, they will hunt you down and stalk you."
Because of that cold warning, Motoharu and Karasawa went stiff again with the memory of the email messages given to them causing the Vice President to rant at Nico and the duo.
"People aren't that creepy! Stop doing that! And you," He points at the girl in the distance, "Don't give them a heart attack! That's just a minority of fans!"
'Are we even preparing for the songs to be picked for the festival? In their heads, obviously random...' The Quarter Russian has a deadpan look to see that the boys were now shutting down to which Nozomi is just snickering, keeping her tarot cards since they are interesting.
Idols and Preparation (Girls Side)
After that success last year about the culture festival (happens to be a dream by Tadakuni), Ringo and her members were now on the table to discuss with μ's second year students. Umi was the serious one since the President of East High was actually dense at some point, similar to Honoka. She looks at them.
"Listen here. I know that you are excited since you've with us in the flesh and discussing you ab-"
Before she can think about, she noticed that Ringo and the three girls were panting as they are having a urge of having an autograph causing the blue haired girl to blush and rant to do so, "Hey! Stop that! This is not a first time meet-and-greet club to sign autographs! We are here since we are your guests of honor!"
'Uhhhhh~ I know that this is such a disaster, this is too embarrassing!'
"So, you guys are speechless that you want us to assist you right?" Honoka asked Ringo out of the blue causing the other clueless girl to snap out of her fangirl sense.
"Uhh... Y-yeah. I want to show those boys from North High that we can be on top as well."
"From the looks of it," Kotori smiles and she knew that she wants to challenge them to prove that girls can do better, "You girls want to one up the guys at least."
"Uhhh... Y-Yeah," Another girl form Ringo's group who happens to be short haired and prim while deep inside, feeling that she's about to burst.
'Kya! I want to see μ's in person and how they perform! It will sell the school's ratings higher for us!'
'Also that includes those bragging high school boys from North High as well since we collab with them!' Ringo stares at her friend, who freaked out since she has experienced seeing her rage, clenching her fist uncontrollably. Umi sighs and looking at the girl since to her, it was childish and petty.
"You look like you're about to burst Ringo-san. Do you still have a grudge against them?"
"Hah? No. I don't since we are here to plan and outdo those boys for good!"
'Are you an elementary student?'
"Anyway," Umi brushed off about the comment of Ringo and has to call them, while trying to maintain composure, "Can you help me out here Honoka?"
"Sure thing Umi-chan!" The ginger haired girl nods and she went to her without hesitation. She smacked the whiteboard hard, causing her in shock a bit from the force she's doing, "Ahhh! So-sorry, did that seem to be hard?!"
"Of course that was a powerful force! You forgot that you are once a member of the kendo club!" Umi ranted while being the tsukkomi to the Kousaka's boke, "I won't pay you once their whiteboard is destroyed!"
"But they said that Ringo-chan have done it before during her frustrations towards the high school boys."
"Why use the high school boys as a source of energy to girl's frustrations?! This isn't from a shoujo manga that once she found out that once she was cheated by her boyfriend, she'll vent her every guy she sees!"
'That's too much if you ask me Umi-chan~' Kotori sweat dropped.
Ringo heard that whiteboard smack from Honoka as she was actually feeling that μ's wants these three girls to listen. This would cause the President of East High staring at them, before tilting her head and having a question mark background with her as a sign that she's confused at her surroundings. All three μ's girls was flabbergasted at the reaction of the girl.
'What are you doing Ringo-chan?! Are you telling us that all this time, you are not a fan of μ's?!' The girl with round glasses can't believe that Ringo didn't listen all this time.
'At this point, we can't one up the high school boys from North High if this moment continues!' Another girl from Ringo's group stood up and grabbed Ringo by the shoulder, shaking her to snap out of her trance. She then gasped and then facing the girls with a dense smile.
"Say, what are we doing again?"
'This is unbelievable... How can she not know? What about our plans?' Umi is just shaking that there are airhead people in her and she thought that Honoka was like that during her childhood until now.
"Ummm..." Honoka would just talk to those girls and trying to keep on track, "Let's just talking about what would be the theme for μ's."
The other girl then be thinking about the scenario if the high school boys are there. She was shaking that the President and his crew are grinning, laughing and looking down at them that when she faced Ringo, the other girl got affected. It didn't last long until she slammed her hands on the table and screamed.
"DON'T MESS WITH ME! I WILL WIN WITHOUT PUNCHING THAT MORON!"
'She's still not moving on? Those high school boys have make her lose focus.' Everyone, including Otonokizaka second years agreed with them that's the case. Instead, they let Ringo be, like the President is being ignored while he plays Dragon Quest.
High School Boys and Love Triangles
Hidenori and Yoshitake were just looking at the scenario while everyone was doing their part like scaring people off like the last time during their haunted house. The brown haired dude with glasses would glance at Yoshitake before looking at the open field.
"Hey Yoshitake."
"What?"
"Do you remember that when we practiced during the time of the festival?"
"Oh yeah~" The blonde snickered, seeing the eyes (or eyeless in his part) of the girls, squirming out of the places, "That was the best time of our lives and we have to repeat several times before making even our classmates scared shitless."
"Mitsuo-kun is just too easy to get scared and fooled," Hidenori replied his opinion about the orange haired individual, "Even if we are obviously practicing, he would run away and saying that we are so cruel to him."
"Hey... Everyone gets shitted on."
'Though we agreed that Mitsuo-kun would likely be the first victim as a try out of the haunted house.' Both of the guys were practically sweating with guilt and even the one who told him to volunteer about this practice was Motoharu, just like when he was gonna prank him.
"Anyway, we should get going and practice for our parts to make this festival as a memory of our lives. Right Hidenori?"
"Yeah, I would say th-" Hidenori noticed that a certain red haired lady was listening to the beat of the songs, even moving her hands as if that she's playing the piano. The boys gasped that this is so out of nowhere.
'What the hell?! Why there is a girl out of nowhere!?'
Yoshitake was confused as to why Hidenori had a shock on his face. When he too a peek on the looks of the girl, he was also having the same reaction as well. They are now wondering because these guys were reading manga as spare time. The girl was just minding her business and she wants to be left alone for the meantime by her friends. The two boys faced each other and was profusely sweating due to them thinking about something.
"Y-Yoshitake?"
"Wh-What?"
"You know... There are manga's about... Love triangles right?"
"What are you talking about?" Yoshitake waved his hand in dismissal, believing that if that happen to his bud, he would add into his own ad, "Its typically cliche in some romance manga and I, for one don't want that to happen in our life~"
"Yeah!" Hidenori raised his fist in the air while laughing with Yoshitake that there is no way that it would happen to them, "Our friendship, over that lame ass dime-in-a-dozen scenario? No way, since even teenagers doesn't need love as of a moment. Our parents spend their money to send their kids to school to be successful."
Because of that noise, the red haired girl Maki got really annoyed because of the noise and knowing that she doesn't even want to be here at all since to her, its nothing more than a waste of them due to the scenario of high school boys wanting to have a girlfriend even if it means fighting for their friendship.
"Will you guys shut up?!"
Yoshitake and Hidenori stopped, facing Maki who is obviously annoyed while having that deadpan look on her face. The brown haired glasses brown gave a gaze towards the tsundere pianist, who obviously raised her eyebrow. Hidenori then faced Yoshitake and then glares at him.
"What are you doing here?"
"Huh?" Yoshitake was confused as to why Hidenori was intense towards him. Probably just trying to play along with this Love Triangle gag that is not meant to be taken seriously. The red haired lady Maki, annoyed by their antics decided to stand up and facing them with a stone cold face because μ's is having a concert in their school and they are doing some dumb stuff. Both agreeing with each other, Yoshitake and Hidenori are playing the scene where they are both into the Tomato haired girl.
"Still trying to make moves with my lady huh?"
"You think that she's into you?" The male duo are "fighting" against each other, trying to see if Maki was affected by this gag. For the mean time, she was only thinking that this was stupid to look at and would just be annoyed about what the glasses boy said.
'What do you mean "my lady"!? I'm no ones lady and I just wanna listen to music because its almost live for us in this school!'
"Of course!" Hidenori grits his teeth and facing Yoshitake like some macho man with that intense bravado. Trying to look manly, he gave the blonde haired boy that cutthroat stare, "You think that she's into you just because of your athleticism? That's a cliche of a jock falling in love with a nice lady like her!"
It looks like Yoshitake is playing is role of a jock due to his abilities and Hidenori was playing the role of a nice guy while Maki was just watching them, feeling unimpressed with this antics and stupidity.
"And does she feel the same thing?" The blonde would then facing Maki, while trying to attempt to do a kabedon to her, "She's like an angel that was fallen in the heavens, no way that she'll fall in love with someone like you."
'Ehhhhhh?! Wa-Wait a minute, why am I involved with this skit?!' Maki thought, staring Yoshitake in the eye, believing that they are just trying to one up with each other as she turned her head sideways and it was obvious that she's embarrassed, blush was visible as the day, 'I-I haven't heard from them at all, who are you two?! St-Stop this instant!'
'H-He's stepping up his game!' Hidenori's mouth has been wide open in shock, his face when pale because he thought that their talks about this love triangle cliche isn't gonna be real and wasn't to be taken seriously. Shaking his head, he decided to wing it and go into his pace, 'I have no choice but to go into the flow. Sorry... Nishikino!' Obviously he knows her due to knowing μ's. He pushed Yoshitake by the side, while doing the same thing, being all ikemen and such.
"Are you alright my princess?" He puts his hand into her cheek, with poor defenseless tsundere was frozen in awe, with her face still red and looking down like a typical high school girl, feeling butterflies in her stomach if her crush is making moves to her, "You'll be feeling better~"
'What's with that misleading sentence and tone?! What do you mean feeling better and why are you trying to act like those boys who are thinking that making moves won't give you a chance to be rejected by their crush?! I don't understand high school boys at all!'
There was an obvious steam coming out of Maki's head, still wanting to get out of her until it gives a shock that like the gag manga episode, Yoshitake was taking this gag seriously while making the scene look convincing. Because of this, the red haired girl only gave them a deadpan look before deciding to leave.
'I'm done with their stupid game. I'd rather play piano and focus for μ's rather than dealing with these over-the-top act of these two.'
Hidenori and Yoshitake were now throwing punches against each other as one would realize, they are doing their gags for nothing. Pausing, with their beaten up looks, they can still manage to blush while muffling due to the force of their blows. Agreeing that they won't do this seriously again since it was that embarrassing.
'I'd rather read manga than doing this Love Triangle skit... Too embarrassing!'
'This is too much for me to handle... Yeah, this skit is way over the top...'
The duo walked away slowly and not wanting to be seen by their friends and everyone. Hell, they hoped that no one is recording it just to tease the duo and even Maki in her school.
Funky Girls Special: Low Quality
"Yay! We are now here!"
"It looks like our quality here has gone down from the drain."
"What do you mean Habara?"
"Unlike the last time, we only have like similar to speech bubbles in the manga. No movements, no actions and such."
"Oi! Just how lazy this author of a bum is!"
"Just because we aren't the protagonist like these measly high school boys doesn't mean that he should shit on us!"
"Ikushima, Yanagin..." Habara attempts to halt their rants about high school boys.
"See?!" Yanagin points at the sky and her, "At least you even have an action for once!"
"Boo!" Ikushima shows herself in disgust at the author.
"Well... I think that..." The former Archdemon is feeling jiggly.
"Hmmm?" The duo faced her, wanting to know her answer.
"I'm in love with Toshiyuki-kun all over again."
'Haaaaaahhhhh?!' Ikushima and Yanagi had a flabbergasted look yet again.
"What?" Habara tilts her head with a question mark on top of her head.
"N-Nothing..." Yanagin smiled sheepishly, not wanting to crush her hopes up.
"Uhh.. Yeah~" Ikushima nods in agreement.
"So, so we able..." Upon walking together, they saw a girl looking at the mirror, smiling.
The trio was obviously in disbelief, since it was bizarre and they were like frozen.
'Who are you?!'
The girl would wear her glasses as she walked away. Yanagin knew who that is, but wasn't sure at all.
'Nago? There's no way that's her... She's grumpy af!'
"We shouldn't think too much." Habara suggested, with Ikushima nodded.
In their heads, they are now starting to shine like those boys. The former archdemon was not to the extent.
A/N: Now here me out, I was never dead and even abandon this project to begin with. I was stuck since how will I insert the girls in and adding original storylines within the time because it would come out as awkward and forced. Tadakuni is still there, but didn't appear like in the anime since the running gag of the series is that because he's really plain of a character, they left him out a lot making Hidenori and Yoshitake the main guys (+Motoharu as the replacement). Also, I'm kinda rusty with the comedy so bear with me everyone. As of now, the gag of the Funky Girls have minimal set of words and such.
I decided to add an another comedy gag for these high school boys and it involves with their roleplay (My name is Jyaaaack), indoor adventures (RPG "Dragon Quest" acting), even dramatic scenarios (like what Hidenori, Yoshitake and Motoharu did to Yassan. Not Tadakuni because he got his ass whooped by her due to not reading the atmosphere when they act. Even the scenarios (episode 1).) The ED in Danshi is stage acting (despite ridiculous, funny (the bear slugged the heroine hard) and stupid). Its an another series that I'll crossover with. I thought that I will never touch before due to so many risks (despite I have started it) and turns.
