The Schnee sisters and mother were shocked to see their little brother/son here. Sienna Khan growled at the younger Schnee while Ilia glared at him. Kali and Ghira were also surprised a little. The teams were surprised but they accepted it anyway. The other audience members didn't pay it to mind.
Onyx cleared his throat, gaining everyone's attention.
"Can Schneebling no. 3 find a seat so we can start?" he asked. Whitely ignored the nickname and went to a vacant seat, far away from his sisters and mother.
"Okay. Some information about this world; It's similar to yours, but they don't have dust, Grimm, or Huntsman and Huntresses, but they're still pretty advanced in tech." Onyx gave a brief rundown, but he left out a very important detail he'd rather show.
'Another normal world?' they all thought. Not that they were complaining but, what's the difference between this one and the one made by a god? Poor bastards have no idea what's gonna happen...
"So are we all good?" Onyx asked. Everyone nodded. "Alrighty then. Let's go!"
The screen opened up to a white background and an armored stranger in white and red facing away from the audience.
"Once, there was a Giant of Light." a familiar voice narrated.
"Wait, 'Giant of Light?'" Ozpin narrowed his eyebrows, could this giant be related to the God of Light?
"Wasn't this supposed a normal world as you said?" Qrow turned to their host for answers.
Onyx just gave him a wide smile. Qrow groaned realizing he was not gonna get any answers.
The Arc parents on the other hand...
'Is that me/Nicky?' they thought about the voice.
"The Giant of Light merged itself with a human and protected the world from numerous threats of destruction and chaos."
"Due to the invasion of aliens and giant monsters called 'Kaiju.'"
"Cool..." both Ruby and Nora muttered in awe.
"Wait, Kaijus also exist here?" Weiss raised an eyebrow, remembering what Tsukasa said during the first world they watched.
"It seems so, Ms. Schnee." Glynda said.
"Eventually, the Giant of Light completed its mission and returned to its home in a distant universe."
The white background and the stranger slowly shifted to a city in the night and a blonde man in an orange jumpsuit. The man watched a bright red light soar above the sky and presumably into space.
"The human it had bonded with lost all memory of these events and returned to where he belonged."
The man was revealed to be Nicholas Arc, still looking at the light leave the planet in the starry night.
"That...that is me." Nicholas was surprised to see himself on screen.
"Huh, looking good there, Nick." Tai complimented. Glynda simply nodded.
"The world that had been released danger was at peace. Conflicts among humans have yet to cease, but threats to humanity from external enemies have disappeared entirely."
The transitions to an apartment building in the day, then it pans to the side to reveal a giant alien that towered over buildings.
The alien was a bipedal insect-like being with antennae, a carapace, and what appear to be wing shells on his back. Its eyes are located on either side of the glowing patch on its face. What disturbed the audience was the yellow parts on its body.
"Oh, what the hell is that ugly son of a bitch?!" Coco exclaimed in disgust.
"It looks like a Grimm tumor." Qrow remarked. The Rose/Xiao Long family looked at him confused.
"That is Zetton. Created by the Zettonian aliens and the strongest of the Kaiju that battled the Giant of Light, even managing to kill the giant. Even though the giant got resurrected afterward." Onyx said.
This made some of the adults cautious and fearful of these Zettonian aliens.
"Then decades later...this is the story of the world, where the Giant of Light, Ultraman, is the thing of the past."
The scene pans to reveal a giant silver and red humanoid in a combat stance.
The giant possesses two oval-shaped eyes, on the giant's chest possesses a blue crystal orb. The giant also has a dorsal fin, extending almost all the way down his back but not rising up very high on his skin, whose purpose is unknown. He has red around his neck and chest that looks like a trident, on his arms, his waist, upper thighs, and on his knees. The giant was almost as tall as Zetton.
"Ooooh, who's this guy?" Sun's eyes lit up.
"That is Ultraman, the Giant of Light and the protector of this world's Remnant." Onyx smiled.
"Fascinating, where do they live? How long can they live? How many are there? Tell me more!" Oobleck fired several questions back to back and brought out a notepad to take notes. Thankfully everyone can understand now since he's slower.
"In order; They live in Nebula M78 or more specifically, in the Land of Light. I don't how long they can live, but the oldest of them is like 300,000 years old. There are eighteen billion of them and rising." Onyx explained. Oobleck furiously scribbled on his notepad.
"Remarkable." Ozpin muttered.
"That's amazing." Amber smiled. Oscar agreed with her.
"That's cool!/sensational!" Ruby, Nora, and Penny yelled. Summer smiled at her daughter's antics and petted Zwei on her lap.
Adrain clapped his hands in joy at the giant superhero, making his mothers coo at him.
"Any weaknesses?" Ironwood asked.
"They require an adequate amount of light. Due to your planet filtering out most of the light, they are only limited to three minutes, and/or they need a host so they can stay longer. They're susceptible to the cold, so freezing them is an option. And their attacks use up their light energy." Onyx elaborated.
Apparently, all of this was just a diorama, because a seven-year-old Jaune was looking at it in fascination.
Jaune wore his signature Pumpkin Pete hoodie with a yellow shirt underneath. He also wore red shorts and red shoes. He was holding an Ultraman action figure.
"Woah!" Jaune gasped.
"My baby boy!" Artoria gushed.
"Tiny Jaune!" Nora cheered.
"He's so cute!" Ruby and Pyrrha squealed.
"Uncal Jan!" Adrian bounced on Terra's lap, making all the girls, minus Sienna and Ilia, gush at the baby.
Nicholas smiled seeing his son so young. Brings back memories of raising him. But his smile slowly faded remembering denying him his dream of becoming a huntsman.
Next to him was a slightly older Velvet Scarlatina.
Velvet wore a white dress shirt with a maroon tie with a tie tack, an orange jacket, and pants, a black belt with a silver buckle, and black boots. Her hair was tied in a bun and her rabbit ears stood proud.
Coco lowered her glasses. "Damn, Bun-Bun, looking good." she commented. Yatsu and Fox smiled seeing Velvet grown up.
"Yeah! Looking snazzy!" Sun chimed in.
She was currently giving a tour to a group of men in suits on the second floor.
"The Giant of Light Museum has recreated the many battles of Ultraman and the SSSP in these dioramas. Moving on!" Velvet gestured the group to follow her, while Jaune ran off to see more of the displays.
She moved towards a portrait of a group of people wearing the same outfit as her. "Next, please look at this. This is a picture of the members of the Scientific Special Search Party, also known as SSSP." she said as little Jaune joined them.
On the portrait were Ozpin, Qrow, Ironwood, Glynda, and Nicholas.
"It's us!" Nicholas said happily.
"Heh, I look good." Qrow grinned, meanwhile, Winter stifled her laugh, causing the drunk to glare at her.
"What does the SSSP do?" Ozpin asked.
"You're basically Space Cops. It has different branches, you and your team are the Mistral branch." Onyx said. "Your branch is led by Captain Ironwood, followed by Chief Arc, Tech genius Ozpin, Qrow, and Officer Goodwitch."
Qrow deflated on not getting a rank. Prompting those closest to him to laugh at his expense. Amber reached out to him to pat his back.
"Space Cops, cool!" Sun and Neptune said.
"I guess I don't have really need to explain that though." she said with a smile.
"Jaune." one of the men with blonde hair and glasses called out to the child. "Do you know which one is your dad?" he asked as he pointed at the portrait.
"I do!" Jaune said and pointed at the bottom right man. "There you are!"
The man laughed. "That's right. You spotted me easily." he smiled and crouched down to ruffle Jaune's hair. Velvet clapped in amusement.
Nicholas was 58 years old now, wearing a dark gray suit and glasses.
"You've gotten older now." Ozpin sipped on his mug.
"Yeah, I have." Nicholas chuckled. Artoria hugged his arm with a pout.
"You're still handsome." she said, the two laugh. Glynda watched with a envious look on her face.
Jaune giggled. "I mean, you're my dad after all."
"Defense Minister Arc!" a man approached the father and son duo. Jaune and Nicholas looked at the man.
He wore a brown two-piece suit with a red tie. He also has gray hair and spectacles.
It was a 58-year-old Ozpin.
"I haven't seen you since the spring meeting." Ozpin said casually.
"Huh, you're here too, Oz." Tai said.
"And you're more casual here." Summer said.
"Indeed I am, and look like the same age as Nicholas." Ozpin hummed.
"Old." Qrow drawled and snickered.
"Oh says you Uncle Qrow." Ruby teased. Making Yang, Tai, Summer and Winter to laugh at him.
Qrow grumbled and sank to his seat. "Jerks."
Amber shook her head at Qrow's behavior.
"Ozpin, you're here too?" Nicholas was surprised to see his old friend.
"You bet." the two shook hands. Then Ozpin noticed Jaune and crouched down.
"Jaune. You've grown." Ozpin noted. "Do you know which one is me?" he gestured at the picture.
"You're that one!" Jaune pointed at the bottom left man.
Ozpin smiled a bit and sipped on his mug.
"Good job. You spotted me easily!" Ozpin congratulated the boy, and Velvet clapped again.
He ruffled Jaune's hair. "Like your father, you're sharp too, Jaune."
Jaune looked at Nicholas. "Hey dad, can I look over there?"
"Sure, but don't run." Nicholas answered his son.
"Okay." and with that, the shota ran giggling while Nicholas and Ozpin watched him go.
"He just said don't run." Weiss shook her head, but she smiled a bit.
"Boo! Jaune-Jaune's allowed to do anything he wants!" Nora said.
"Our son's friends are a chaotic bunch, aren't they?." Artoria giggled. Nicholas nods with an amused chuckle.
Nicholas sighed. "You must love him more than anything." Ozpin said to his friend.
"I didn't have him until I was older, after all." Nicholas said in slight sadness. "More importantly, what are you doing here again today?" he asked.
"Well, I happened to be nearby for work. Then when I heard you were at the museum, I thought I would pay you a visit since I haven't seen you in a while." Ozpin answered.
Meanwhile, Jaune was looking at the Jet VTOL hanging from the ceiling. He was starting to climb the railings.
Jaune's family and friends gained worried looks.
"He shouldn't be doing that." Blake said. Since this world doesn't have aura and he's still young, a fall like that could...
Artoria held her husband's hand tightly.
"Please don't fall." Ruby whispered.
"Excuse me, I hate to interrupt while you're talking. Can I have your autograph?" a random employee approached Nicholas and Ozpin with a clipboard, prompting Nicholas' guards to take action.
"Sorry, but that's not allowed." one of the guards said.
"I don't mind." Nicholas insisted and approached the employee.
This made the employee happy. "Thank you, I really appreciate it!" he bowed.
The scene briefly cuts back to Jaune and the Jet VTOL. He was still trying to reach it. Then it cuts back to Nicholas and Ozpin's group.
"Thank you!" the employee bowed.
"No problem." Nicholas waved him off.
Ozpin, on the other hand, was slightly jealous. "Hey, don't you want my autograph?" both the employee and Nicholas looked at him funny.
Before any of them could say anything, a loud thud and Velvet screaming got their attention.
Velvet was looking over the railing with a panicked look on her face. Nicholas immediately rushed to see what happened. He gasped at what he saw. His son, Jaune laying on the floor, seemingly lifeless.
"JAUNE!"
"JAUNE!/MY BABY!" those who knew the blonde cried in terror. Adrian whimpered and was about to cry.
"Damn." Qrow cringed.
All of them rushed downstairs to get the child. When they did, Nicholas immediately rushed to Jaune's side and held him.
"Jaune!" he cradled his son in his arms. "Jaune! Hey, Jaune!" Nicholas has a worried look on his face. Miraculously, Jaune stirred and opened his eyes. He started to cry, hurt from the fall. Whereas the others couldn't believe someone survived a fall like that, a child no less!
"How did he survive that?!" Weiss exclaimed. "That was several feet long drop!"
"Yeah! How did Jaune survive that?!" Yang asked. Everyone turned to their host for answers.
Onyx just crossed his arms. "All will be revealed, just watch." he said seriously.
Everyone begrudgingly went back but they were still worried.
"Nicholas, we need to get him to a hospital!" Ozpin said to his friend.
"He's alright." Nicholas stated, much to the confusion of everyone. Nicholas lifted Jaune up and prepared to leave. Ozpin was confused as hell on why wasn't Nicholas taking Jaune to the hospital and why did he say he was alright.
"'Alright?' Did you see how far he fell?!" Ozpin yelled.
"Yeah, listen to Oz!" Qrow yelled in frustration.
"Nick, what the hell is your counterpart even thinking?!" Tai turned to his old friend.
"I don't know! I'm as confused as all of us!" Nicholas said.
"He's not hurt anymore." Nicholas reassured his friend. "He's just crying because he's scared." he said as he started to go with his guards. But Ozpin wasn't convinced in the slightest.
"Hey!" Ozpin called out and grabbed Jaune's Ultraman action figure and followed them.
Outside the museum, Nicholas and Jaune went inside their car and drove off. Jaune, from the backseat, waved goodbye at Ozpin, Velvet, and the employee.
"Bye-bye!" he waved happily, not crying anymore.
"Bye!" Velvet and the employee waved back. Ozpin didn't say anything, he has his arms crossed and started to wonder why Nicholas didn't get any help, how Jaune survived a long fall, and why was Nicholas relaxed during it all.
The good guys were relieved that Jaune isn't in pain anymore.
"The plot thickens." Roman remarked and continued to smoke his cigar.
From the backseat, Nicholas looked at his old friend with an unreadable expression. The ride back to their house was quiet.
The scene cuts to an apartment building at night, from inside, a woman with short blonde hair and blue eyes was walking down the stairs to a living room.
She wore a black shirt, a white thigh-high skirt, and black shoes. She was younger compared to Nicholas.
"Why am I younger compared to Nicky?" Artoria asked.
"Well, he married a little late is all I can say." Onyx answered. He then materialized a soda can and drank it.
"Has Jaune gone to sleep?" Nicholas asked his wife, Artoria. He was sitting on the couch.
"Yes, I think he was exhausted. He's deep asleep." she answered.
"I see." Nicholas nodded. Artoria left to make some tea, leaving Nicholas with his own devices. "No doubt about it." he muttered and pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration.
"That boy isn't normal." he said to himself. He then proceeded to browse photos of him and his former colleagues on his tablet with growing frustration. Something wasn't right with him, there was something missing, something he can't remember, and it was driving him crazy!
"What gave it away? The kid surviving a fall he shouldn't?" Roman snarked. Making almost everyone to glare at him.
"Why doesn't he remember?" Ruby asked.
"You dolt, didn't you listen earlier? Mr. Arc lost his memories of becoming Ultraman." Weiss said, making Ruby go 'Ooohhh.'
He eventually gave up and leaned on the couch.
"Why? Why?" he muttered.
He got up and started to call Ozpin, maybe he knows something, he always does.
"Yeah, Ozzie always knows things." Qrow said. Tai, Summer, and Amber nodded.
"Indeed he does!" Port gave a heartily laugh.
"Sorry to call you this late. Can I see you now?" he asked.
The scene cuts back to the Ultraman museum at midnight.
"Why are we meeting here again?" Ozpin asked.
The two adults were inside the building. Fortunately, they managed to get the keys to the building so they could have a chat.
"You're not comfortable at your old workplace?" Ozpin asked.
"I'm fine" Nicholas answered, but the truth is, he's not fine.
"So, what is it you want to talk about?" Ozpin asked his friend.
Time to confess. "Actually..." Nicholas started, earning Ozpin's attention. "I have no memory." he said.
"You have no memory?" Ozpin repeated.
"...Yes." Nicholas said.
"Memory of what?" Ozpin asked.
Nicholas then walked towards the Ultraman statue, standing triumphantly at the center of the building.
"How can I put this?" he said. "I...have no memory of seeing Ultraman." Nicholas finally said it.
"You mean, you don't know what Ultraman did?" Ozpin asked.
"That's right."
"That's crazy!" Ozpin said. "I mean back then you were with me in the SSSP."
Nicholas growled in frustration. "Yes, I know that!" he placed his hands on the stone stairway.
Then Ozpin got an idea. "In the final battle, when Zetton showed up, you hit your head pretty hard-"
"That's not what I meant!" Nicholas shouted. In his frustration, he slammed his fists on the stairway and smashed it. This shocked him and backed away.
This also made the audience jump a bit.
"Holy pancakes!" Nora exclaimed.
"Damn." Roman whistled. Neo just clapped.
"Interesting..." Ironwood muttered.
"Haha! Even in an alternate world, you are still as strong as ever Nicholas!" Port laughed.
"Uh...thanks, Professor Port." Nicholas said awkwardly.
Ozpin saw it and got a closer look. "Look at this. That's pretty amazing." he praised.
"But, why did you wait until now to tell me such an important thing?" Ozpin asked his friend.
Nicholas was quiet for a second "...I can't hide it anymore."
"You mean Jaune?" Ozpin asked.
"Yes." Nicholas nodded. Then he turned to Ozpin. "You saw it too. That boy isn't normal. He may be even stronger than me." he said.
They both stayed quiet until Ozpin spoke. "Actually, there's something that I want you to see. Come with me." then he walked towards the elevator.
Nicholas followed him, confused. "Where are we going?"
"Just follow me." Ozpin said. He pressed the down button on the elevator, which is odd since there's no underground parking area.
"Ooooh! Maybe it's a secret underground headquarters!" Nora guessed. Ruby thought that it would be cool
"Nora, please." Ren scolded.
They all didn't notice Onyx nearly choking on his soda.
In the elevator, Nicholas was starting to get suspicious of this building. "This is nothing more than a museum, right?"
"No. It's not." Ozpin revealed. Nicholas just gave him a surprised look, which made Ozpin smirk.
The elevator doors opened. Ozpin was right, it wasn't just a museum, it was a secret headquarters. a lot of computer systems, a second floor with a meeting room, and there were people working.
"I KNEW IT!" Nora exclaimed, causing everyone to cover their ears in pain.
"Nora!" her friends shouted.
"Oopsie." Nora rubbed the back of her head.
"This place is operational, the museum is just for show." Ozpin said.
Nicholas was shocked to see everything. "What the heck is this? What's going on?" he demanded.
"Hold on, I'm getting to that." Ozpin reassured his friend, but everyone can tell he was being smug about this. "The Mistral office of the SSSP is still going strong." he said.
Nicholas was staring at Ozpin for an answer.
On the second floor's meeting room, Nicholas sat on a couch with a table and a laptop in front. He was trying to wrap his head around all of this. How long has this been here? Why didn't anyone tell him about this? What was going on?
Ozpin went up to him with two coffee mugs. "Have you calmed down a little?" he asked.
"Of course, I can't calm down. I have no idea what's going on." Nicholas answered as Ozpin gave him a mug.
"Same here." Coco said.
"Yeah." Sun agreed.
"Ditto." Yang said.
"Well, I can understand why you're surprised." Ozpin said as they both took a sip.
"But, there's a reason why I've kept it hidden." Ozpin told Nicholas.
"What reason would that be?" Nicholas asked.
Ozpin was silent for a second and put his mug on the table. "Actually, right now, Remnant is facing a new danger." he revealed, making Nicholas sit straighter.
"'New danger?'" Ironwood narrowed his eyes.
"What kind of danger?" Yang asked.
"I think it's those giant Kaijus again." Blake hummed. Many paled at that thought. Those giants attacking again? Without Ultraman's help? That's a disaster.
Ozpin opened up the laptop and pressed a button. "Look at this."
It was a video of an airplane leaving an airport.
"Is this the incident from six months ago?" Nicholas asked.
"That's right." Ozpin confirmed.
"What incident?" Qrow asked.
Onyx just looked at him annoyed and pointed at the screen.
The video continued as the plane got high in the air, then suddenly, it blew up. Killing everyone on board. Ozpin paused it.
The audience gasped. Roman nearly choked on his cigar.
"All those people..." Ruby hung her head in sadness.
"...How many were on board?" Ghira asked.
Onyx sighed with a sad look. "A lot."
"At first we were told it was a terrorist attack." Ozpin said. "But then it was cleared up by saying it was improper maintenance."
Nicholas nodded in understanding. "Look closely at this." Ozpin zoomed in on the video, at the center of the explosion.
Then he enhanced the video to make it clear, revealing someone floating.
"Who the hell...?" Roman trailed off.
"Who is that?" Nicholas looked at Ozpin, but he continued to enhance the video.
Nicholas narrowed his eyes on the stranger that caused the explosion. He looked familiar...
"This accident was caused by this guy." Ozpin said. The image became clear.
The suspect was wearing some sort of metallic silver armor with blue eyes and sharp angles. He looks very similar to Ultraman...
"Wait, is that..." Weiss started
"...Ultraman?" Ruby asked.
"Why would he blow up a plane? That doesn't make sense. And why isn't he a giant?!" Sun yelled.
"Or perhaps, this one isn't Ultraman..." Glynda said.
"Could be." Ozpin said and turned to their host. "Who is he?"
Onyx looked at the immortal with a serious face. "Bemular."
Nicholas narrowed his eyes at the alien then his eyes widened.
"Ultraman?" Bemular spoke. Nicholas grabbed his head in pain as he started to remember.
"He sounds scary." Nora said. Ruby and Penny nodded.
He remembered encountering a red light during a mission on the SSSP's VTOL Jet, and a being coming straight at him.
"ARGH!" Nicholas yelled and slammed his hands on the table and knocked the laptop off, with the alien still on the screen.
Artoria and Glynda were worried for Nicholas.
"What just happened?" Sun asked.
"I think he's starting to remember." Neptune guessed.
Nicholas panted, trying to regain his bearings. Ozpin looked at his friend in concern.
"Did you remember something?" he asked. Nicholas looked at him and weakly nodded.
"I...was Ultraman." he said.
"I knew that." Ozpin said while Nicholas looked at him shocked. "Everyone in the SSSP realized it."
"Ozpin knew all this time?!" Tai was surprised.
Glynda pinched the bridge of her nose. "Of course he does." she muttered.
"Why didn't he say anything?!" Artoria asked/demanded.
"What? Then why didn't you say anything?!" Nicholas got up and grabbed Ozpin by the arm and didn't apply much pressure to snap his arm.
"What if the world found out?" Ozpin asked him calmly. "You and Jaune would be treated like guinea pigs." he stated matter of factly.
"We wouldn't do that!" Ironwood denied.
"Ironwood, I'm gonna be honest with you; you probably will for Remnant's betterment and/or the Atlas council forcing you to do it." Onyx said.
Ironwood hung his head, knowing that Onyx was right, but he wouldn't do anything extreme, right? He felt a chill run down his spine, but he ignored it.
His colleagues just looked at him with pity. Ozpin just patted his back for reassurance.
Nicholas let him go and sat back down on the couch, trying to comprehend everything.
"You and your son...have inherited the genes of Ultraman." Ozpin revealed.
"'The genes of Ultraman?' What the hell does that mean?" Roman quirked an eyebrow.
Onyx sighed. "Due to the numerous amount of times, Nicholas transformed into Ultraman, some of the big guy's genes rubbed off." he explained.
"Wait, does that mean Ultraman is kinda like the other dad for Jaune here?" Yang asked. "Does that make sense?"
"Mmm, more or less." Onyx shrugged.
"And is that how Jaune survived that fall? Because of the genes?" Artoria asked the question that's been bugging them.
"Yes." Onyx confirmed.
Nicholas looked at him confused. "'The genes of Ultraman?'" he repeated.
"We did it to protect both of you. I'm sorry." Ozpin said.
Nicholas was quiet for a moment. "...You mean, the SSSP has kept operating for our sakes?" the scene briefly pans to several agents working.
"That's nice of you Mr. Ozpin." Oscar complimented.
"Thank you, young man." Ozpin acknowledged his future/former host.
"Yeah, he does care about his friends and co-workers." Nicholas chimed in while he and his wife cuddled together.
Neo stuck her tongue out childishly at the good guys.
"That's right. But now it's the time for it to perform its original function." Ozpin states.
Nicholas got up. "Because of him?" he referred to the Ultraman-look-alike on the laptop.
"This time, he's not friendly to humanity." Ozpin said. "I know I've hidden this from you, but will you cooperate with me now?"
The two friends stared at each other for a moment, before Nicholas could give an answer, the scene cuts back to the city.
TEN YEARS LATER
An older Ruby Rose was walking down the sidewalk with her friends, Blake and Weiss beside her and the three of them wearing tanned-colored school uniforms, while Jaune, Neptune, and Sun passed by them with their navy-blue uniforms.
"They are all such pretty girls." Sun said.
"Nice uniform design." Coco said. Her teammates just sighed at their leader's behavior.
Both Tai and Qrow glared intensely at the monkey faunas, said faunas started sweating in fear.
"MY BABY GIRL!" Summer squealed and hugged her own daughter. "YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL!"
"Mom!" Ruby squawked in embarrassment, prompting Yang to laugh at her expense.
Willow secretly smiled as she watched her daughter on screen with friends. She also glared at Sun for the comment his counterpart made.
"Look, Blakey, you're also there!" Kali said cheerfully. Ghira chuckled at his wife's behavior but he's also happy to see her daughter on screen. But that doesn't mean he liked hearing the blonde monkey saying things he didn't like.
Poor Sun was trying to hide in his seat from all the glares from the parents.
Jaune and Ruby briefly glanced at each other before moving along. Unfortunately for Jaune, Sun noticed it.
"She's looking at you!" Sun said to him, which gained Neptune's attention from looking at his nails. The three boys looked back at the girls.
Sun grabbed Jaune's arm. "I'm serious! The way she was looking at you!" he said excitedly.
Jaune was quick to dismiss this. "She probably thought I was someone else." the blonde said as he continues to walk, but Sun was insistent.
Sun grabbed Jaune again. "No. She was looking at you, Jaune no doubt about it!" "Yeah!" Sun and Neptune looked at Jaune with a smirk.
Tai and Qrow then glared at Nicholas' son.
"Isn't that the boy you like, Ruby?" Summer teased.
"MOM!" Ruby hid in her cloak. The glares increased.
Roman and Neo laughed at Ruby's embarrassment.
"Man, you're just trying to get me to talk to girls, aren't you?" Jaune accused Sun.
"No, I'm not!" Sun quickly denied it. "I'm just telling you that you've got a chance with her!" he points at Ruby.
"You're the only one of us without a girlfriend, Jaune." Sun encouraged Jaune.
"Don't you want a girlfriend?" Neptune chimed in.
"Of course, I want one." Jaune said.
"I could be your girlfriend." Pyrrha and Velvet muttered to themselves. Onyx just shook his head with a smirk.
"But isn't Friend-Ruby already Friend-Jaune's girlfriend?" Penny asked innocently.
Tai nearly broke his chair's armrest, Qrow nearly choked while taking a swig, Summer and Artoria squealed, Pyrrha was glaring at the back of Ruby's head, and Velvet just pouted cutely.
Winter. "Penny, being a girl who's a friend and girlfriend are completely different." she explained.
"How so?" Penny tilted her head.
"One of them is love and of them is just friendship." Winter elaborated.
"Oh, I see." Penny nodded.
Sun nudged Jaune. "Then quit acting shy all the time and go get one!"
And with that out of the way, Sun and Neptune walked away. Jaune looked back at the girls before going.
"I'm not acting." he mumbled.
Sun and Neptune boarded a bus to go back to their respective houses, leaving Jaune alone.
"See ya!" "Bye!"
"Later!" Jaune waved goodbye at them.
"Good to see that you guys are friends with him." Blake commented.
"Hehe. Yeah, Jaune seems cool." Sun chuckled.
"Yup." Neptune remembered Jaune encouraging him during the dance. He's cool in his own dorky way.
With them gone, Jaune walked back home. He passed an alleyway and saw an entrance from the back and got an idea. He jumped over a garbage can and went inside.
Time has passed and the sun was setting, Jaune stood on the edge of a really tall building, looking over the city and the horizon he admired the view for a little while.
He leaned forward and closed his eyes...
The good guys gasped.
Then he leaped across several buildings at a shockingly fast speed and cracked the concrete beneath him. He laughed in joy as he felt the cool wind against him. He didn't know that Ruby and her friends were down on the sidewalk walking. He landed on another building and skidded a few feet and caught dust. Somehow managing not to break on the rooftop.

"THAT WAS AWESOME!/COOL!/ SENSATIONAL!" Ruby, Nora, and Penny exclaimed.
"W-what?! How...how did he...?!" Weiss sputtered.
"Incredible!" Amber clapped.
"Again! Again! Again!" Adrian clapped. Saphron and Terra cooed at their son's behavior.
Sienna had to admit, that was impressive. Not that she would ever compliment a human.
He stood up with a small smile. He took a deep breath and sighed, losing that smile replaced with a frown.
The scene changes at night in the Arcs' apartment.
Jaune opened the door and went inside. "I'm home!" he called out, but it sounded forced.
A much older Nicholas was sitting on the couch reading a book, his hair was completely white and his suit was gray instead of the dark blue suit he wore a decade ago.
"You've been coming home late recently." he noted while not taking his eyes off his book. Jaune walked past him.
Jaune stopped for a while. "Really? It's the same as always." he said, seemingly trying to avoid this conversation.
Nicholas quickly noticed the air in the room. "Why are Jaune and I seem estranged now?" he asked.
"Well, you haven't told Jaune about you being Ultraman and his powers. Jaune discovered his power early and had no help controlling his power, which made your relationship with him worse." Onyx explained.
Nicholas sighed dejectedly. Artoria hugged him for reassurance.
The Schnee family could relate. Willow practically re-married herself to a bottle of wine, Winter went off and became a Specialist, Weiss went to Beacon, and Whitely was left with the worst influence on a child ever. Of all time. (Jacques)
Nicholas said nothing for a second before speaking up. "I heard you dropped out of your school club. Did something happen?" he asked, trying to at least be a good parent.
"No. Everything's fine." Jaune said, but Nicholas wasn't convinced.
Nicholas closed the book he was reading and sat up. "Isn't there something you want to talk about?" he asked.
"Not really. I just got a lot on mind, that's all." Jaune shrugged.
Nicholas stood up from the couch. "I see, and just what exactly might that be?" he prodded.
Jaune just looks at him with an irritated expression. "It's none of your business okay?" and with that, he went upstairs to his room.
Both Nicholas on screen and in the audience just sighed.
The scene cuts back to the building's rooftop where Jaune jumped from with smoke. Standing, or floating in the smoke was Bemular, the alien that destroyed the airplane a decade ago.
Bemular went to inspect where Jaune jumped, running his sharp hand across the cracks. He hummed.
Jaune's family and friends have a bad feeling in their guts about Bemular right now."
Then the scene cuts to the early afternoon with Jaune, Sun, and Neptune laughing while they strolled across the city.
Sun noticed something and pointed at it. "Hey, isn't that the girl?" prompting his friends to follow where he's pointing. "She was the one looking at you yesterday, Jaune."
It was Ruby and Blake getting harassed by Mercury and two of his lackeys. The three of them also wear school uniforms.
"Mercury." Yang growled as her eyes shifted to red.
Tai and Qrow nearly jumped from their seats and attack the screen. The students all glared at the silver-haired assassin. Ghira and Sienna growled at Mercury on-screen while Kali tried to calm the both of them down, but she too felt rage at the boy while Ilia glared.
'Those pants look atrocious!' Coco screeched inside her head.
Yeah everyone didn't like Mercury. (Excluding the fandom)
Jaune, Sun, and Neptune stopped to check. "You know, doesn't she look a lot like Ruby Rose?" Sun pondered.
"You mean the pop idol?" Neptune asked surprised.
The two boys squinted their eyes and looked at Ruby carefully.
"I guess she does look like her." Neptune noted. Not knowing that is the pop idol.
"'Pop idol?'" Blake asked.
"My baby girl is famous?!" Summer asked giddily.
"Uh-huh." Onyx answered. "Ruby is a singer, a popular one too."
Summer squealed and grabbed her daughter in a tight hug.
Ruby slowly turned purple. "Mom, air." she wheezed.
Pyrrha silently pitied Ruby. Being famous isn't always a good thing. She just hopes that Ruby can get through better than her.
Neptune took cover behind the pillar next to them and adopted a serious look.
"That looks like a lot of trouble." Neptune said as Mercury and his cronies kept on harassing the two girls.
"Yeah, no shit, Nep." Coco said sarcastically.
"Those guys are from Haven High, right?" Sun said. "We're better off staying out of this." he said with his hands on his hips.
"C'mon other me, don't be like that!" Sun said.
"But...we could score a ton of points." Jaune said.
"What?" Sun asked in disbelief.
"Regardless of whether they're looking at us or not, if we help them, we could score a ton of points with them." Jaune told them. In reality, he's just saying this so his friends would help him stop the three boys.
Sun and Neptune looked unsure of this, Jaune Arc, the shyest of them taking the lead?
"Yeah, Jaune!" Take them down!" Nora cheered.
Ren would've calmed her down, but he too wants Jaune to stop them.
"Oh come on, and if we get our butts kicked, we would lose points!" Sun said.
But Jaune didn't listen and walked up to them.
"Hey, Jaune!" "Jaune!" Sun and Neptune called out to him to stop, but Jaune ignored them.
"I have to quit worrying about stuff right now." Jaune said to himself as he approached the three jerks. "If I hold back, they should be alright." he clenched his fist in anticipation.
The three were oblivious to Jaune walking up to them.
"Yeah, good idea." one of the goons said.
"You bet it is." Mercury said.
"Hey!" Jaune yells.
Mercury turned to look at Jaune. "What the heck do you want?" he asked annoyed.
"Can't you see those girls are frightened?" Jaune tried to reason.
"Who the hell are you?" Mercury asked again. "Are you this girl's boyfriend or something?" he points his thumb at Ruby.
"I wish." Ruby whispered. Blake heard her but chose to not say anything.
"No." Jaune answered. "But, I wouldn't mind dating her." Jaune added awkwardly and rubbed the back of his head.
Mercury approached Jaune. "Or are you one of those rare dudes now who fights for justice?" he mocked and posed with his left arm vertically and his right horizontally in front. Like a plus sign.
"The hell is that pose." Roman snarked.
No one noticed Onyx's smirk, knowing what that pose is.
"No, that's not what I am." Jaune denied.
Then Mercury smacks Jaune in the face. "Then what the hell are you? You're pissing me off, asshole!" he growled and reeled his leg back for a kick.
"Jaune!" "Look out!" Jaune's friends and family cried in terror.
Ruby covered her eyes from the inevitable fight that was about to happen. But Jaune just caught the foot with no effort and twist it ever so slightly, but due to his super strength, he underestimated how much force he needed, causing the bully's ankle to break with a sickening crunch.
The audience cringed at the sound of bone breaking, but they weren't gonna lie, that actually felt satisfying in some twisted way. Considering that Mercury is working for Salem and an asshole.
"Well, he kinda deserved it." Qrow shrugged. No disagreed. Even Roman knew that harassing is a dick move, he may be a thief but he is a gentleman thief! He has standards.
Neo nodded. No Legs had it coming.
Mercury was shocked, along with everyone watching, and cried in pain. He fell on his back and clutched his broken leg.
"Yay broken leg! I'm so proud of you Fearless Leader!" Nora cheered.
Ren just sighed in frustration. "Nora, no."
Jaune looked at his hand with shock and guilt. His friends just watched with wide eyes.
"How did that happen?!" one of the goons asked and crouched down to check the injury.
"You okay, man?" the other asked worriedly. He looked at Jaune. "What did you do to him?" he demanded.
"I just grabbed his foot." Jaune answered nervously and looked at Ruby.
Ruby and Blake looked at each other in panic.
"Let's run." Blake said
"His foot is in bad shape." Ruby said.
Both girls ran, seeing the opportunity to get away.
Tai and Summer sighed in relief that Ruby and Blake got away.
"Hey, someone call the police!" one of the bullies pointed at Jaune and his friends.
Sun and Neptune also ran away, not wanting to deal with the police.
"You all right?" asked Mercury's friend.
"All I did was..." Jaune tried to explain but he can't find the right words. In fear and guilt, Jaune ran.
"Shit. This is bad." one of the bullies inspecting Mercury's injury said. "Hang in there!"
"Hey!" the other one called out.
Jaune ran away. He didn't mean to do it, he didn't know what would happen.
Time has passed, it was nighttime. Jaune sat on top of a billboard of Ruby posing with her name beside her.
"What will I do now? I did something awful." Jaune sighed.
"It happened so fast, I guess I used too much force." he rubbed his hand on his face. "That's not what I meant to do."
He looked at his hand. "What's the deal with this crazy power anyway?"
Jaune closed his eyes and lamented. "Just when I thought I finally had control of it."
RWBY, NPR wished they could comfort Jaune right now, but they couldn't.
The Beacon Professors felt bad for the young Arc.
Then suddenly. "It seems Arc hasn't told you anything." a voice noted.
Everyone bristled. Bemular was there, which was very worrying.
Jaune immediately became alert and looked around to see who said that. He jumped down from the billboard onto the rooftop and looked around.
"Who's there?" he asked.
"So, you want to know about this power of yours?" Bemular revealed himself.
Jaune saw the alien and couldn't believe it. The alien looked very familiar to him for some reason.
"That is a power that is not meant for this world." Bemular said and raised his hand.
Bemular launched an arc of blue energy at Jaune. The blonde used his power to jump over it, but the attack sliced off a portion of Ruby's billboard, making it fall on the roof.
"Holy crap!" "Woah!" Sun and Neptune exclaimed.
"Jaune, get out of there now!" Pyrrha called out, despite him not hearing her.
Jaune panicked and looked at the broken billboard then at Bemular.
"I'm impressed." he said.
Not wanting to stay here and fight him, Jaune jumped to another rooftop. He jumped again, this time landing in the middle of a football stadium, kicking up a lot of dust and dirt in the process.
Jaune panted from exhaustion and looked to where he jumped.
"I guess I got away." he said.
"No, you haven't gotten away." a very familiar voice said behind Jaune.
Jaune tensed up and look behind him to see that Bemular standing a dozen feet between them.
"Oh come on! Really?!" Yang's eyes flashed red.
"This is bad. He has nowhere else to go." Ironwood said.
"No shit, Sherlock." Qrow snarked.
The Arc/Cotta family was getting worried and worried.
Jaune was so stricken with fear that he fell on his back trying to get away.
"What...what do you got against me anyways?! Why are you attacking me for?!" Jaune demanded.
"Your power, I already told you, isn't meant for this world." the alien answered cryptically.
"That's not my fault! It's not like I wanted this power!" Jaune retorted.
"You're right. If anyone is at a fault, it would be Nicholas Arc!" Bemular then rushed at Jaune to kill him.
Jaune screamed in fear and tried to block in rapidly approaching alien.
"JAUNE!"
But before Bemular has the chance to kill Jaune, a red light shimmered in the air. It was Nicholas with a trench coat, but something else the audience couldn't tell. Nicholas landed between the two, protecting Jaune and stopping Bemular.
"Oh thank Oum." Artoria sighed in relief and tried to calm her rapidly beating heart.
"That was close." Coco said. Her team nodded.
Bemular flipped in the air and landed where he first did. Jaune panted and realized he wasn't dead, he lowered his arms and saw his dad.
Nicholas looked at son. "Are you okay, Jaune?" he asked.
"Dad?" Jaune asked in disbelief.
"You're not hurt are you?" Nicholas asked.
"Uh, no." Jaune answered. "Wait, what's going on?"
"Let's just say, he and I go way back." Nicholas answered and clenched his armored fist.
"Yeah, but who or what is he? He looks like Ultraman." Jaune noted.
"No, Jaune. He is not Ultraman..." Nicholas then opened his trench coat, revealing to be some sort of suit of armor and a glowing blue orb on his chest similar to Ultraman in the museum decades ago. "...I am Ultraman." he revealed to his son.
"Oh my gosh, that looks cool!" Ruby gushed. "What can it do?! Does it have lasers?! Can it fly?! Can it give cookies?!"
"Yes, what can this suit do?" Winter asked.
"It's a prototype suit made to help control his power. But this pales in comparison to the other one." Onyx answered cryptically.
Adrian, Nora, and Penny have stars in their eyes in awe.
Ironwood, Winter, and Penny looked at the suit and tried to memorize the design for future Atlas technology.
Jaune's eyes widen at the reveal. His dad was Ultraman? The giant that protected humanity? He couldn't believe it.
"No way..." he said breathlessly as he watched his dad about to face off against the Ultraman-look-alike.
Then the screen went black.
"Hey! What the heck! It was getting good!" Yang shouted.
"Hold on, I'm gonna get the next episode. Be right back!" Onyx then disappeared.
While he was gone, the audience was left to their own thoughts.
The Arc parents and the Beacon professors were getting anxious about this fight. Ironwood and Penny were crunching the numbers in their heads on the possibility of Nicholas winning.
Ruby, Yang, Nora Sun, Neptune, Roman, and Neo were excited about this fight.
Weiss, Blake, Ren, and Pyrrha thought this fight might not end well for a handful of reasons.
Saphron and Terra looked at each other worriedly.
Adrian was excited to see grandpa beat up the mean alien.
Sienna and Ilia didn't really care that much.
Kali and Ghira sat quietly and patiently for the next episode.
They all waited for this climactic fight to happen.
And done! I feel so burned out! So stressed! Damn college...
Sorry if the reactions are not enough, I had to do my Midterm test *sigh* and starting now is my one-week vacation actually, I have to go back to college on April 4. I won't be able to post the reworked chapter with this. I'll just post it some other time, just look out for the change in the story description. I nearly couldn't finish this due to writer's block.
I combined the English dialogue and the original dialogue btw because I felt like it would be better.
I wished I could do better...
Anyways, I'll do the next chapter with the fight scene in the future and an Intermission, providing I survive.
