Almost twenty-nine years have passed since graduation, & Kyo is happy with his life. But ever since he was a teenager, he's felt a calling to one day return & to take over the dojo from Kazuma. None of them have been in any rush; Kazuma has always been healthy. Then an accident forces all of them to realize that things are changing, & they have to figure out what they truly want.

For most of her life, Sachiko has dreamed of two things: growing up to be a karateka like her father Kyo, and someday finding a relationship as strong and affectionate as her parents'. One of those things has always seemed admittedly easier than the other, but that's ok; boyfriends have come and boyfriends have gone, but karate is forever.

All her life, Momo Sohma has felt a kinship with Momiji that she never quite understood. As silly as it sounds, she wanted him to be her brother.
