Alright, chapter 4 is officially out, Sorry this one took so long, I had to go back several times to make sure everything was right and not screwed up. It combines both Boruto the Movie and the episode, so i think this turned out rather spectacular in the long run. Anyways, without further adieu here ya go.
Naruto screamed in agony as his Tailed Beasts chakra was constantly being sucked out of him. "This is taking too long." Momoshiki complained.
Naruto smirked weakly as he looked up, "Sorry,... you see... we shinobi... Don't like to make things easy for you." Naruto said as he looked up to see, Natsu, Gray, Erza, Gaara, Kurotsuchi, Chojuro, Darui, and Satsuki were flying down towards them at high speeds.
Gaara narrowed his eyes as he pointed his hand out, "Alright let's go!" he called as he unleashed several balls of compressed sand.
Gray extended his hands and called out "Ice make: Lance" And several lance's made of ice rained down on them and the two Otsutsuki members separated themselves from Naruto to avoid the attack. The sand severed through the restraints and caused Naruto to fall from his position, however he was still bound to the wood. Erza requipped into her Heaven's Wheel armor, and cut the binds that held Naruto to the tree. Satsuki grabbed his hand and caught Naruto as he was falling, helping him to the ground.
"Are you okay?" she asked him.
"Yeah... Thanks..." Naruto said in between breaths smiling. Naruto stood up and he stumbled a little bit. Satsuki reached out to help him but she hesitated when she saw him stand up straight. "I'm sorry... For getting you guys involved in my problems." Naruto said.
Satsuki shook her head, "We're friends, I want to get involved. I want to help you. We all do." she assured him.
"You guys saved me, thanks a bunch." Naruto smiled.
"Here this is for you." Satsuki said as she handed Naruto his jacket. He smiled and accepted it from her, immediately putting it on.
"Let's go." Naruto said as he leaped into action and Mira followed suit.
Meanwhile-
Gray and Erza were facing off against Kinshiki in an epic battle of sword play. Kinshiki was able to find an opening and he struck Erza in her abdomen before he kicked her away where she crashed into a large root of the Shinju, "Erza!" Gray cried out.
"You're cornered!" Kinshiki declared as he moved to attack Gray with a battle axe that he made out of chakra.
Gray smirked and asked, "Aren't you talking about yourself?" confusing the Otsutsuki member.
Suddenly Kinshiki couldn't move as a pair of hands grabbed his feet from beneath the ground. He was pulled under the ground until only his head was above ground. As Kurotsuchi popped out the ground next to him she winked, "Doton: Shinjū Zanshu (Earth Style: Headhunter)" gotta love it." the short haired woman said and then cracked her hands. She looked to Gray and Erza, "Go, I can hold him here while you guy's take out that other one." she said.
"Ice Make: Hammer" Gray declared his attack as a gigantic mallet appeared and slammed onto Kinshiki's head, "That's for Naruto you bastard." Gray said and the two went off to battle.
Natsu and the other's were chasing Momoshiki who continued to flee from his attackers. Gaara extended his arm and created a large net of sand. With this, Darui ran across the top and jumped over the Otsutsuki and swung at him, forcing Momoshiki to dodge. As this happened Naruto and Satsuki had managed to catch up with them. Naruto was jumping from root to root and created the hand seal for his most known jutsu.
"Karyu no..." Natsu was inhaling but they were stopped by a yell.
"No! Don't use any magic or ninjutsu on him!" Satsuki warned as she finally caught up to Momoshiki and was able to stop him in his tracks as she tackled him and then rolled off where they squared off with each other, Satsuki with her sword pointed at him and asked, "You absorb Ninjutsu and magic and spew it back out right? It's not that different from the way a dragon slayer's magic works." she said.
"So taijutsu it is." Naruto grinned as he cracked his knuckles readying to lay a beat down on the man who tried to revive Kaguya.
"Hand to hand combat? I can work with that." Chojuro said.
"A minor setback we can adjust to easily." Gaara said carelessly.
"That'll be just fine by me." Darui stated.
"Oh yeah I'm all fired up!" Natsu said with a grin, "You should hide somewhere Happy, this is gonna get nasty." Natsu warned. Happy nodded and flew away, following his order.
Momoshiki gritted his teeth in frustration now that his weakness was exposed before he clashed with Satsuki as their weapons sparked against each other from the force of their collision. From deep beneath the rubble, Kinshiki thought to himself, "Lord Momoshiki." he grunted as he begun to force himself up out of his prison.
Seeing this, Kurotsuchi sent more chakra into the earth, "I won't let you!" she said.
The ground suddenly began to rumble underneath them as Kinshiki burst from the ground. With a yell he grabs the woman by the head and slams her down and knocks her unconscious. He then leaps high in the air and creates a series of weapons that soar in the same path as the larger man did. Seeing this, the group collectively leapt away as Kinshiki stopped and began gripping a giant red scythe and landed next to Momoshiki. With a roar, Kinshiki swung the scythe with overwhelming force, slicing the world tree completely in half causing a lot of destruction in its path. Kinshiki was breathing heavily and bleeding badly from his head and his arms.
"Lord Momoshiki... Now is the time... for you to consume my chakra, just as my ancestors have done. Do not hesitate…" He said with exhausted huffs of breath, his body bleeding and broken from his escape.
Momoshiki wasted no time in putting out his left hand towards Kinshiki ready to turn him into a chakra fruit, "I won't!" He said angrily Kinshiki gave a cry as his body was forcefully transformed into a blood red fruit that flew to Momoshiki's grasp where he quickly began eating the fruit.
"To his own...!" Natsu gasped in shock as he was about to rush in for an attack but he was a bit too slow. The effect of eating the chakra fruit caused Momoshiki to explode with power pushing away the four who surrounded him a great distance.
After absorbing Kinshiki, Momoshiki's appearance took a drastic change; his body becomes lithe and covered with radiating black markings that resemble sunburst patterns, his horns greatly enlarge and curve back, he grows short claws on his fingers and toes, his canines extend and resemble fangs, and all his dōjutsu turn golden, including a third Rinnegan on his forehead.
Momoshiki salivated with power and he gave out a mighty roar, containing all kinds of killing intent.
"What the hell! What kind of power is this? It's on a whole other level!" Gray thought.
"I've never experienced something like this not even from Master!" Erza panicked.
"Dear God..." Mira said as she collapsed onto her knees and shook in fear.
Suddenly, Momoshiki seemed to vanish where he appeared next to Darui who jumped with wide eyes, "He's fast!" only to grunt as the demonic alien smashed a foot into his stomach and sent him flying away where he crashed into the fallen tree.
Seeing this, Gaara lashed out with hundreds of tendrils of sand, chasing Momoshiki where the alien bobbed and weaved around them until eventually the redhead managed to catch him in his sand, Sabaku-" however, Momoshiki grinned as he flexed his chakra and his hair ripped itself out of the sand and wrapped up Gaara tightly where Mooshiki smashed a fist into his guts causing the redhead to cough up blood before he flew off and crashed into the rock.
"Lord Kazekage!" Chojuro cried out only to cry out in shock as the alien suddenly appeared before him and slapped him away where even Chojuro was knocked unconscious next to the tree.
Kurotsutchi gave a cry as she encased her arm in stone and attempted to hit the devil-like being from behind, but Momoshiki simply raised a hand and stopped her attack before it could hit him. Elbowing her hand away, he attempted to hit Kurotsuchi with a palm strike to her face,but the woman swayed out of the way from his strike, but was left open to Momoshiki elbowing herinthe temple where she gasped as she was smashed into a nearby root and knocked unconscious.
Once more,Momoshiki vanished and appeared in front of Natsu and Gray and grabbed their faces before he leapt up into the air and crashed down just as fast and dragged them across the ground for several metres before he leapt up and threw them in opposing directions where the two wizards crashed into large rocks. Mira gasped as Momoshiki proceeded to strike several nervous points on her body before he leapt up and smashed a foot into her face before he once more vanished. Ezard raised a sword, but felt her eyes widen as the blades not only shattered, but her armour was torn to pieces as Momoshiki clasped his hands together over his head and brought them down on top of her skull.
This only left Naruto and Satsuki, but even their resistance was futile as Momoshiki engaged with Naruto in a hand-to-hand fight for several moments before he closed several chakra points and grabbed him by his face directly as Satsuki appeared in a spark of lightning, only to gag on saliva as Momoshiki gripped her by her face too before he leapt up and smashed his foot into their stomachs and sent them flying away.
And with that,Momoshiki grinned in victory.
The wizards looked up weakly as did the other ninja, and they could only pray for a miracle. This Momoshiki guy, he was just so strong.
However, much to the wizards collective shock, Naruto and Satsuki stood back up almost instantly and wiped themselves off, "Hn, it's like I'm looking at my old self." Satsuki said nostalgically as she let her cloak go from around her neck.
"No kidding." Naruto agreed with a smirk.
"Hoh, you were able to get up after all the damage I dealt to you? Impressive fox." Momoshiki said, ignoring Satsuki's presence.
"I see." Naruto commented.
"Yea, he's completely different than he was a few moments ago." Satsuki said,brandishing her sword.
"Nah, rather… You're just a monster."Naruto commented.
Momoshiki gavea snort as he gazed at Naruto, "Oh please, we're both monsters." he responded with ease, "I just know when to unleash my inner beast."he said seriously.
Without a moment's notice, Naruto andSatsuki vanished from their spots and Momoshiki was quick to move as he blocked their attacks with his bare palms, "Finally, this is actually starting to get fun." he commented.
"Let's teach him a lesson, Satsuki." Naruto said as his Six Paths Chakra roared to life and covered his form.
"Yeah." Satsuki agreed.
And with that,the three godly beings clashed. The earth shook and rumbled with each strike. Several moments later Momoshiki crashed hundreds of metres away asNaruto and Satsuki stopped their rampage and glared at the alien as Momoshiki readied himself for the next match, "Bring it!" he demanded.
Not hesitating in the face of this opponent, Naruto, Satsuki and Momoshiki rushed each other and Momoshiki caught each of their punches with one hand. Although their punches were able to move the gigantic stump of the world tree ruining the landscape even more than it was before. They struggled against Momoshiki until Naruto ducked and Satsuki hit him with a strong reverse roundhouse kick.
They rushed their enemy again and engaged in a taijutsu battle. Erza and the rest, having recovered from their small bouts, watched as best they could as their battle took place and were just in awe, "They're both ridiculously strong individually, but their teamwork is flawless." Erza said.
"I feel ashamed to have to sit back and watch. I need some more training if they can keep up with this guy on their own." Gray thought as he scolded himself.
"I wanna fight too but... I think we'd only be in their way." Natsu said.
"Oh? You've become a lot more mature since you joined Natsu." Erza cooed at him and she squeezed his cheek like he was a child.
"Don't do that!" he yelled at the redhead.
The three gods clashed in various hand to hand combat fights,Naruto and Satsuki constantly being bashed away, but neither being taken down as they constantly tag teamed the monster in flashes of gold or blue as Satsuki used her Lightning affinity to keep upwithNaruto's sheer speed. With a roundhouse, Satsuki was sent flying, but she didn't stop engaging Momoshiki as she threw her word up and spun it several times at the bottom of her foot and kicked it at Momoshiki.
Knocking the blade away, Momoshiki grinned as he once more engaged Naruto in taijutsu, the speed and reflexes unmatched as Naruto blocked and struck back against each jab aimed at him before smashing his fist into Momoshiki's face, "How dare you!" the alien cried only to cry out as Satsuki flashed next to Naruto with her Rinnegan and smashed her foot into his face as Naruto slammed another haymaker into his cheek, the two ninjagrinning as they brought their full might to bear.
Momoshik flipped twice over his feet before he crashed down and summoned a polearm into his hands with a roar of challenge. Not letting up their assault, Naruto and Satsuki charged ahead with full force, Naruto's body literally expelling large gouts of golden chakra and Satsuki trailing behind with sparks of lightning as she followed quickly after her rival.
Sparks flew as the three clashed once again, Naruto having to take several moments to try and close the gap between him and the alien as Satsuki continuously blocked his attacks with raging sparks flying with each clash of hers and Momoshiki's weapons before Naruto rolled back as Momoshiki hit his stomach. Momoshiki was quick to rapidly spin the polearm behind his back and slash downward forcingSatsuki to flahs away,butthisleftMomoshiki open for a powerful right hook fromNaruto dazing Momoshiki slightly,but even with that, Satsuki once more reappeared and summoned a section of her Susanoo and lashed out using its skeletal arm and sent the alien soaring up, both hits ripping up sections of the earth and reshaping the land with each blow.
With Momoshiki flying up through the air, Naruto and Satsuki gave chase. Flipping back and landing on his feet,Momoshiki growling to himself as he brought himself to a stop and glared at Naruto and Satsuki as they landed in front of grinned as he punched his palm ready for more action. Satsuki, reaching to her hip, pulled out a scroll and unfurled it where a small pulse of chakra released a large Shhuriken, "Let's go, Naruto!" she cried out as Naruto nodded showing he was ready.
With a huff, Satsuki launched the bladed weapon behind her asNaruto formed a very specific hadseal for the next move. The shuriken rounded back and rushed at Momoshiki, a second one trailing right behind it, sparks of lightning flying through the air as the singular weapon suddenly multiplied into hundreds of copies of itself. Momoshiki seeing this gawked a second just as the Last uchiha pulled on the string and guided them at her enemy.
Without hesitating, Momoshiki began to flee, but he wasn't able to get far and was forced to begin dodging the countless weapons coming for him, but when he began to start becoming overwhelmed, the alien gave a roar and expelled a blast of chakra that sent the remaining weapons flying away, but thi allowed Naruto and Satsuki to make their next move. Appearing in front of the Otsutsuki, Satsuki slid under Momoshiki's body and kicked him in the chin, sending him into the air. Naruto met him in the air and punched him through a mountain. Satsuki met Momoshiki at the other end, and kicked him back towards Naruto. At this point they were playing tennis with Momoshiki's body. Naruto grabbed him by the legs and flipped several times in the air, flinging him to the ground in the crevice of the mountain.
Naruto and Satsuki dove towards him, preparing to end it with a single strike. However Momoshiki didn't plan on going quietly into the night as he created a chain and wrapped it around Satsuki, using it to throw him out of the picture. He rolled out of the way of Naruto's hit the ground with explosive force and hopped on the tree stump. As the dust settled, Naruto was seen under a large pile of rubble trying to free himself, but as he was about to, Momoshiki clapped his hands together and the sides of the mountain came together, entrapping Naruto.
Satsuki recovered where she leapt onto the stump of the Divine Tree where she tried to rush Momoshiki alone but had to dodge and block and slice up several spikes of the Divine Tree itself on her way to help Naruto. At least that was her original plan, until her feet got stuck in the liquified wood of the tree. With this done, Momoshiki rushed her with a giant mallet. Being unable to move, the most she could do was stab her sword into the ground and release lightning chakra from it in order to help block the attack.
However, Momoshiki's brute strength knocked the Uchiha high in the sky and Satsuki recovered in the air. However the onslaught of attacks only continued when Satsuki was being bombarded by several boulders that were smoldering with flames. Using the susanoo to block them, it only made matters worse because the rocks didn't fly off like they were supposed to, they instead clung to the susanoo and began to glow a red color, "He's using me as an epicenter!" Satsuki said as she groaned in pain as the radiant heat coming from the stones burned her, so much so they actually combusted. And sent her falling to the ground, her Susanoo destroyed and the Uchiha left worse for wear.
"Satsuki!" The crowd beneath her cried out. Suddenly the ground shook as Kurama in his full might leaped from the structure that Naruto was trapped in. Catching Satsuki in his chakra, Naruto noticed his rival covered in burn marks and scowled. He fed Satsuki some of Kurama's chakra in order to help her recover and let a roar of anger "AAAAHHHH" this in turn made Kurama roar as his friend was angry "RRRRRAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH"
Suddenly several snakes made of the earth hooked themselves on Kurama's shoulders and thighs with their fangs. Kurama grabbed and ripped apart the snakes gripping his shoulders.
However, Momoshiki wasn't done and summoned a giant Phoenix-like bird made entirely of flames. Kurama grabbed a hold of its wings, struggling against it. Naruto growled as he struggled against all of the monsters he had to fight. However he felt a tug on his arm and when he turned he saw that Satsuki had completely recovered. He grinned as Kurama ripped apart the Phoenix. A monster made of magma started to come to life as soon as the Phoenix was defeated. However all of the snakes that were grappling on to the nine tails were obliterated by the building up of the Susanoo armor of the two ninja calling on their combined powers together.
Satsuki's purple susanoo armor built up around Kurama, giving the fox the armor of a warrior providing extra defense. Momoshiki was controlling the Magma monster from the top of its head and used it to swing at Kurama. Although due to its size and body structure, the attack was slow, giving Satsuki and Naruto enough time to materialize a sword for their combo. Kurama swiftly ducked under the punch and swung the sword, easily slicing the monster in half and causing it to implode on itself.
The swing of the massive sword also causes a huge shockwave to blast across the land blowing Natsu and others away a bit, nearly as much as Momoshiki. Kurama and the Susanoo both dissipated as Naruto and Satsuki landed on the ground smirking in victory.
Natsu and the others ran up to them with smiles on their faces, "You guys did it!" Happy said ecstatically.
"Your teamwork is absolutely flawless. Good work." Erza praised but Satsuki immediately silenced all congratulation talk.
"We certainly did a lot of damage, but I highly doubt it was enough to kill him." Satsuki said.
"If we could use our ninjutsu on him, we would have beat him already." Naruto said as they saw Momoshiki struggle to rise up out of the dirt, completely battered. He was breathing heavily and had a huge scowl on his face.
"You dare ruin my garments!? I'll kill you!" Momoshiki declared to them angrily with a glare.
"Do any of you wizards think that you can eliminate the eye on his left hand while we accumulate power?" Satsuki asked.
"Heh, who do you think you're talking to of course we can!" Natsu declared.
"Hey, Kurama, can you absorb as much natural energy as you can?" Naruto asked.
"Of course, I'm on it." the bijuu said.
"I've got a plan." Gray said as he huddled them together to quickly explain it.
"I see... That'll surely work." Erza said.
"Satsuki, when we give the signal, use your... ninjutsu." Gray said and he nodded.
Momoshiki pulled a few round red pills and swallowed all of them, gaining back a lot of his lost energy. "I can go on for infinity worms." he declared loudly to the group who began their strike.
"Let's go, we won't get a second chance." Erza said as Naruto threw down a few smoke bombs filling the area with a thick smoke. Natsu, Gray and Mira jumped out of the smoke and Gray threw an ice boomerang while Momoshiki held out his hand to absorb it. However what he tried to absorb was a transformed Erza requipped into her lightning empress armor.
"Take this!" Erza was about to try and shock him with her lightning spear but he grabbed Erza and tossed her aside. Suddenly he was being raised up by a near mountain sized ice platform.
"Now Natsu!" Gray ordered. The center of the ice hill started to glow a red color.
"Don't you know how hard it is to melt ice without making it completely evaporate!?" Natsu complained as the ice instantly started melting into a giant pool of water. Once all the ice was melted Momoshiki stood in the water holding Natsu up by the throat.
"Your measly little attacks won't have any effect on me. You're all so weak!" Momoshiki glared at Natsu who happened to smirk.
"You're up Mira." the son of Igneel said, barely having enough breath to do so.
"Evil Spark" The energy of demons has the ability to destroy anything at the cellular level and numb the body." the woman said as she electrocuted the pool of water. Momoshiki shrieked in pain and let go of Natsu unintentionally. "And since you can't feel anything..."
Gray smirked as he froze the water, holding Momoshiki's feet in place. Ice began creeping up his body preventing even further movement. "This ice will be child's play to absorb." Momoshiki said confidently. But then when he went to absorb it he found he couldn't. "What!?" he said as he looked down at his arm and saw that he was actually lacking one.
"Looking for this?" Natsu smirked as he tossed Momoshiki's arm up and down like a baseball in his claw-like hand. Suddenly a wave of unfathomable power washed over them and the group turned as one to see what was causing it. As they did, they saw Satsuki's perfect Susanoo charging Indra's arrow with two arms as the remaining energy of the purple warrior covered a three headed Kurama that was charging one massive Lava Rasenshuriken and one Tailed Beast Rasenshuriken in the remaining six arms.
Natsu used all his might to toss Momoshiki's severed hand away. He grabbed Gray and Erza and launched them towards Naruto while Mira flew there on her own with her transformation.
"Rikudo: Shinra Tenkyō (Six Paths: Almighty Scream)" Naruto and Satsuki declared their attack and launched it at Momoshiki who was defenseless.
However, as Momoshiki was struck, Naruto found himself being pulled into some strange illusion.
"Can you feel my presence, Fox?"
"What?" Naruto recoiled in shock, seeing the pale face of Momoshiki before he absorbed Kinshiki staring at him, an analytical expression on his features. His Byakugan was deactivated, but it still felt like it could gaze into his soul. They were floating in some clouded orange and crimson space, with what would look like several pieces of wood from the Shinju on which they fought previously. Taking his gaze downwards he saw a black, endless void.
"Kurama!" He telepathically called out to his partner. "What's happening?" he called out to his partner. Nothing. There was no answer, "Oi! Kurama? Are you there? Answer me!"
"He can't hear you." Momoshiki told him, as if reading his thoughts.
"What did you do to him!?"
"I wanted this to be a private conversation. He's safe. For now." Momoshiki's Byakugan was activated at this point, staring into his blue eyes, "I see. When you were a child, you already proved by defeating one with eyes similar to mine that fate isn't set in stone. Remarkable. Senju Naruto, you truly do have the power to defy fate." Momoshiki spoke as he gazed upon him.
His face showed surprise that he spoke to him by his name, instead of using some degrading nickname. However, a solemn expression was on his face when he heard him mention Neji. Momoshiki undoubtedly gained the information when he read his mind.
The Ōtsutsuki's white eyes narrowed, "Your naive misplaced trust you have in people will only prove to be your downfall in the end.."
Naruto's blue eyes widened in fraction, before dangerously hardening. "Explain."
Momoshiki snorted, "It wasn't supposed to end like this." He spoke up again, ignoring his question, "However, seeing that you are too weak to deal with the others, it will be beneficial for your people if you do receive it." Momoshiki took a hold of his left arm, feeling a tingling sensation coursing through his body, "Remember this; those who defeat Gods cannot remain ordinary individuals."
Momoshiki stated as he began fading away in the form of dust, "Reflect well upon my words, as you proceed with your actions in the future, Fox."
Then he was gone.
He was back in the real world, his and Satsuki's attack finally smashed into Momoshiki and soared away with breakneck speeds. The earth was completely obliterated and the attack continued to travel on at a rapid speed, breaking away ground and soaring into the atmosphere after it separated the clouds, where it finally exploded.
At the last moment Happy picked up Natsu and flew away from the explosion as fast as he could. After a few minutes the explosion finally subsided. Everything that had form was completely decimated, not even a trace of anything left.
"This place was already in bad shape when we came. Is there even a word beyond barren wasteland?" Mira asked as she looked on at the massive damage, her Animal Soul spell receding. "Massive would be an understatement for this kind of destruction." Happy commented in awe. "That... was... awesome!" Natsu beamed. "You gotta teach me how to do that!" he said looking at the two men. "If they taught you that you'd probably destroy all of Magnolia." Gray said.
Susanoo Kurama and Satsuki's Susanoo began to disappear as they landed on the ground. "It was necessary to defeat opponents as strong as they were." Erza said.
Naruto and Satsuki collapsed onto their behinds and let out a sigh of relief. "Whew I'm beat." Naruto said.
"Yeah... I don't even feel like moving right now." Satsuki said.
"Those were incredibly powerful techniques, but they're pretty taxing it seems." Mira said as she transformed back to normal, her dress now in tatters.
"Yeah they are." Naruto said.
"Yeah. And loser don't ever do something as reckless as get captured again." Satsuki said exhausted.
"Yeah. You know I'm still waiting for that fight you promised." Naruto said.
"Maybe later and when we are at our best." Satsuki said.
Ok, it's a bit short, but there ya go, a chapter worthy of our hero's from the Elemental Nations, even if they didn't do much.
