THE BRIMWYLF
By Twisted Eternal Wolvetta
Unto Endless Storms
Shizuru had boarded this watercraft to flee her shallow life. 'Twas heartbreaking indeed that this is a thiefs' lorddom. Before the seated wrongdoer—a hapless highborn—stood her eerie keeper. Gnawing her lip, Shizuru kept her stare upon her foewoman. She did not know who they were and feared for her awful life.
"Who are you?" The water-robber's voice was gruff, as though made guttural by seawater wind. She spoke lowly, but was neither kind nor warm. A book—no qualm logging Shizuru's overstepping—was held by this rover. "...Tell me, else I will cut off your pretty fingers one after another." Green eyes pulled upwards; rough gaze dead-set upon the spooked athel. "What say you?"
Shizuru's heart raced, woe blasting against her. She felt sick.
"Well?" The thief—who Shizuru dreaded must be the ship's Headwoman—edged near. Book smearing against her chest, her free arm twisted behind herself; as though to hide something. Lips inches from Shizuru's ear, she whispered: "...Tell me why a stowaway is on my ship? What makes you believe you won't feed the sharks?" She moved behind the highborn, her hidden limb unwinding to show her a blade. Sweeping the knife near Shizuru's right hand which was tied to the chair, she warned: "I am an unforbearing woman."
"I-I needed to leave Windbloom!"
Writer's Words: Why does this tale read so weirdly? The Brimwylf is written in Anglish, a tongue that in English is "patriotic purism". On the whole, it takes out anything deemed outlandish from the English tongue. This means that anything without a Deutsch root isn't used.
I do not know if I will write The Brimwylf in Anglish. This alone took forever. If I do this in Anglish, I would need to craft a plugin that spots words not in Deutsch tongues.
The Deutsch tongues are as follows:
Icelandish
Faroish (Faroese)
Norse
Norish (Norwegian)
Danish
Swedish
Scots English
English
Frisish (Frisian)
Netherlandish (Dutch)
Deutsch (German)
Wordbook (Anglish to English):
