Ending Story
Of course he knew her name. Who wouldn't? She was a busy body being involved in everything with everyone. He grew to be jealous of her. Well he honestly despised her very being. How can somebody with everything be so captivating without even trying?
He's had to fight his way for simply living. When his father would tie that stupid chain around his neck. It was a never ending nightmare for him. His mother was already lost within her own mind. He loathed her. They were both despicable. Yet he remembered the day his parents were finally taken from him.
He couldn't bring himself to see their tombstones.
He ran into
He couldn't help the cocky grin that made her lovely cheeks glow. "Well? Are you simply going to continue staring or rather tell me why your eyes always seem to linger longer than intended?"
"Well I don't necessarily hear you objecting," with that outfit she wore he couldn't seem to realize what she said. "Very well. Now you have my full attention Miss..."
"Allura," Oh the things I'd do to that voice. "Please call me Allura."
"Ah very well... Allura," the sound of her name coming from his mouth sent shivers down her... spine. "Why have I peaked your sudden interest?"
~~Flashback~~
The day her father past, she remembered being at his funeral, with a bunch of strangers lining around her. All unknown. They only cared about her father's money and legacy. Many of these strangers introduced their sons and asked what she'd do with all her inheritance. She walked away needing to get away from all the fake appearances. She walked along random gravestones curious at why there was a small plate with only two names. Not even their death dates. She placed her fingers along the names.
"They didn't deserve to die, but they didn't deserve to live either," she jumped at the sound of the boy's voice. She seem to recall him. Lotor. The troubled youth, everyone called him. He always wore turtlenecks, except right now. Where the scars around his neck were exposed. "Everyday I prayed for him to stop. My mother was no better... she let it happen."
She didn't know what to say.
"I'm sure yours wasn't a want, but mine was," his eyes seem to linger for moment before giving the girl a painful smile that didn't reach his eyes. "Trust me. I'm really happy they're gone."
He began to descend his way out of the graveyard but something told her to call out to him.
"Wait! You're right mine wasn't a want... but neither was yours." He paused at the exit. "I mean despite all that I'm sure you still loved them, otherwise you wouldn't be here. Right."
His hands ghosted his neck. If any louder she wouldn't have been able to hear the soft spoken, "Right," that escaped him. He continued off and Allura just watched wondering why her heart felt so broken for this particular stranger.
~~End of Flashback~~
She looked at him for who he really was, a broken soul. How she wanted to help him, because nobody deserves that kind of turmoil. "Well for starters why wouldn't I be?" Good I got him off guard. "Is it so hard to believe that a fine specimen such as yourself could attract the opposite gender. Besides..."
He stayed in place, enjoying the proximity between them, and waited for her. "You make that look like the hottest turtleneck around."
He couldn't even fathom what happen except the the beauty of the school left him a desire he couldn't wait to explore.
Sorry I didn't want to leave this uncompleted but I can't remember for the life of me what I was going to do with this story, but sorry if you wanted more. I couldn't think of anything. This is the end.
