Y/n's Pov
"A mission? Sure, what for?" I ask and mom sighs, "I need you to go to The Sand Village and deliver this," she hands me a scroll, "And then I believe Anko and some ninja are headed out so I want you to join them later." I nod, "Sure." I didn't need details and she knew it. I eat towards the door, "Oh and," I turn to face her, "Be careful and come back alive, ok?" I smile and nod, "No duh." She chuckles and I exit.
"Sand Village, huh?" I wonder out loud, "I get to meet the Kazekage." I realize, And it's not Gaara… it's his… father. I sigh, "Anko…" I wander around the village and as it gets later I look up at the sky to see the stars. I find a building and I feel drawn towards it. Slowly I find a small, single room with the curtains shut. Now don't get me wrong here, I'm just curious and it got the better of me.
I teleport into the room and find it's Anko's. I lean against the wall and knock on the wall. She looks up holding onto to her curse mark, "Y-Y/n?" She asks and I nod. "You look like you're in pain there, you ok?" I ask and feel a slight burn in my own curse mark, "Y-Yeah, just a nightmare. That's all." I shrug, knowing what it actually is but not pushing, "Alright. Just wanted to check on ya." I smile, "See ya." She nods but by then I had disappeared.
I teleport to my house to find a note on the counter;
Dear Y/n,
It's Naozumi here. I'm going to be gone for a while. Special mission, but don't worry, Takashi's with me. Also, try not to get into trouble and watch your step. That party sure did something.

I shrug and set the note back down, "The party, huh?" I blush slightly thinking of what had happened. Why haven't I cleaned up? I can do it easily. I frown, "Oh well. I'll do it later." Smiling at that I slip into my bed, falling into a dreamless sleep. For the most part.
I wake up and get ready, "Going to the Sand Village today. Meeting the Kazekage. Nothing to worry about. Just a scroll." Purposefully leaving out the second half for now I grab enough supplies for a week. Just in case.
Jumping around the village I spot, Sakura, Shino, Ino and Naruto. Shino had obviously just shocked Naruto cause well Naruto was flailing his arms around, Oh right. Their mission's with Anko… well minus Sakura. I should get going. I jump away before anyone of them could notice me. I walk by the guards to find them, go figure, asleep. I slam my hand on the desk and change my voice to my mom's, "Oi! What do you two think you're doing?! Falling asleep on the job, geez. What will I do with you two?" They both shoot up and look at me still half asleep. When they heard the voice the pretend to be aware but failed, "Lady H-Hokage! S-Sorry!" Izumo says and I giggle, "Relax." They both look up and sigh, "Gave us a scare there Y/n." Kotetsu mutters, "I know. I'm headed out, see ya!" I wave and they both nod.
Let's see. I spy with my little eye, trees, trees and guess what? MORE TREES! I would teleport but I'm being lazy. My mind wanders off to Anko's mission, What was it again? I-I forgot… something… Oro was part of it… memories? No… the mission itself was… was… 'A sea monster. But was it really?' Takashi's voice enters my head and it clicks, That's right! Wait aren't you with my brother?! 'Yeah, he's resting. I'm on watch.' THEN FOCUS! 'Yes my lady.' He says in a mock voice but still knew that I was serious so he listened… for once.
I finally reach the Sand Village, "Who are you?" The guards ask and I smile, "Y/n of the Hidden Leaf Village. Here with a message for the Kazekage." I say and one guard runs off, "He's off to go ask about this. Please wait." I nod, "Sure no problem." I look down at my ring, not letting the guard see it. It was f/c right now and I smile, I wonder how they're doing… Know what? I'll visit them sometime soon!
I finally reach the Sand Village, "Who are you and what's your business?" One of the two guards asks me, "I'm Y/n of the Leaf Village and I'm here to deliver a message to the Kazekage." One guard runs off, "We're going to check that, so please wait here." I nod. The guard comes back with Gaara, "This is Lord Kazekage's son. He'll be your escort." I nod again, thank them and walk over to Gaara.
"It's been so long since I've seen you!" He rolls his eyes, "Come on. I don't want to keep my father waiting." The word 'father' was coated with hatred. I nod and sigh, "Gaara." He looks at me, "What?" I make a cat face, "What's wrong?" He stares at me, "What? Nothing. Why would you thi-" I cut him off, "What's wrong?" He sighs, "Nothing. Just a bit tense with the Kazekage." I shrug, "Fine." I take it, he's still not telling me though… "We're here." He says as we reach the Kazekage's room.
After going in and sitting down he looks at me, "What are you here for?" Ouch… He's kinda cold… then again… what did I expect? "I'm here on behalf of the Leaf Village. Here." I hand him the scroll, "Name?" He demands, "Y/n. Y/n Senju." Yes. I am adopted by the 5th after all. "Senju? Are you perhaps the daughter of the Hokage?" He asks and I nod, "Yes."
"You seem nice. Better than my useless son anyways." My eye twitches, "Gaara?" I question with a slight edge to my voice, "Yes. My youngest and most disgraced." Can I kill him. Like now. Please? "Well. I think my mission's finished, but would you mind if I stayed the night?" I question and he nods, "Very well. You must be tired after the trip. Will you be fine sleeping with my children?" I nod, "Perfect." So he has somewhat of a heart after all! I muse.
Once I get out of the office I find Gaara leaning against a wall, "How'd it go?" I shrug and sigh, "I don't like him." I state bluntly and he chuckles, "But he's letting me stay the night so…" Gaara gets up as I keep walking. "Staying the night? Where?" He asks, "With you, Temari and Kankuro." I say smiling slightly, "Oh. I can show you where that is if you want." I nod, "That'd be appreciated." He nods and starts walking. I follow soon after.
"Oh, Gaara, you're back. Who was the- Y/n?!" I grin, "Temari!" She smiles, "It was you?" I nod, "Yup! I'ma spend the night, if that's alright by you guys." Kankuro walks in, "Eyyyy! It's Y/n! What're you doing here?" He asks curiously and I smile, "Spending the night. Then I'm headed out to another mission. Thought I'd spend sometime with ya!" Kankuro grins, "Awesome! Well, welcome to our humble home." He smirks and I laugh, "Why thank you for having me." We all laugh even Gaara chuckles a bit.
"Hey, what do you guys want for dinner?" I ask and they all stare at me, "What?" I ask, "Well we just didn't know you cooked." Kankuro says and I giggle, "Well have you seen my family? I can cook just about anything, just name it." After awhile I just decide to make a bunch of stuff so they could pick from it.
"Ok, here." I say setting down the last plate. As they all sit down at the table they stare wide-eyed at all the food and I tilt my head, "Umm…?" Gaara was the first one to snap out of it, "Oh." He blinks. "This looks great! Thanks Y/n!" Temari exclaims finally and I sigh in relief, "Gosh I thought you'd say it looked horrid or something. Geez." I giggle.
"Nah, thanks!" Kankuro states and everyone starts eating. This is great. I really like having them around. Doing things like this. It's rare to have a meal with the others. I think smiling, "Aren't you goin' to eat?" Kankuro asks with his face stuffed. I giggle and nod, "Yeah." With that I start eating.
After a fulfilling meal we all ended up chatting in the living room. I look outside and sigh, What does happen….? I feel something tugging...is… is it Naruto? Shino? Ino? Anko? What happens on their mission?! I'm losing my memory of the episodes! 'I told you so~' Shut up. Takashi. "Y/n are you alright?" I look over at Gaara, "Hmm? Oh yeah. Just thinking." I force a smile and notice that the other siblings are gone.
"Shukaku." I tilt my head, "Huh?" I wonder out loud. "That's what was bothering me." He elaborates slightly and I nod, "Oh. Then…" I smile, "How about you go to sleep? I ca-" He got up and walked over, "Thanks." I giggle, He planned that. "No problem." He layed down next to me and shutting his eyes, "Good night…" He mutters and I can hear his faint breathing as he falls into a sleep. "Night…" I murmur.
No matter what I tried I couldn't fall asleep. I focus some of my chakra and leave it by Gaara. Getting up I make a piece of paper and a pen to leave a note.
Gaara,
I have a bad feeling about something and it won't go away. I'm sorry and I hope you slept well. Don't worry, I'll be fine. I had a mission after this anyways and that's where I'm headed. Thanks for letting me stay,

I sigh and set the note down, "Sorry…" I say quietly as I look back before jumping out the window. Naruto and the rest might be in trouble. Gah, I hate not knowing! I run out of the desert and as soon as my foot's outside the gate I teleport in the direction Naruto, Anko, Shino and Ino all went in. Please be ok guys…
For some reason my mind wandered to my 7th birthday. Back then I thought Naozumi-nii hated me. Because he never showed up to anything. I understand now but… Still… He could've called more often. Then again I'm not sure when he was brought to this world… I should take a break. I stop and take a deep breath. Looking around I try to find anything familiar. Nothing.
3rd Pov
"Would you look at that? She know the 1 tails Jinchūriki." Kisame says as he watches from the crystal ball connected to Y/n's ring. Itachi sighs, "C'mon Kisame. We have to get going." Kisame rolls his eyes, "I know. I know." He stands up and starts following Itachi, "We're just getting a scroll right? Why do we have to?" Kisame put emphasis on the 'we' part of his question, "Because the Leader ordered it. Now let's go so we can get it over with." Kisame smirks, "What? Does Itachi have a crush?" He questions and Itachi rolls his eyes, "Don't be ridiculous. Now hurry up. The quicker done the faster we get back." Kisame keeps the same smirk on his face, "Whatever you say."
~With Naruto~
Naruto's eyes open slightly to see a girl placing a wash cloth on his head. His eyes slowly shut again, letting sleep over come him.
His team worried, go to bed eventually so they can have energy to look for him in the morning. Little did they know they'd have another teammate by then. Weather that's for better… or worse.
~In The Morning~
Y/n's Pov
I had made it to the port and managed to find Anko, Ino and Shino. But I quickly found out Naruto had gone missing at sea. Small memory portions came back. One thing stuck for sure though, Oro's flipping experiments. That butt! Sasuke's here as well. Kuso. After learning about doing things earlier I stuck with Ino and Shino looking and asking around.
I sigh as I try to remember more. Anko… abandon by Oro. Curse mark… CURSE MARK?! I didn't think this through! …. Oh well. "Hey guys. What's this mission about?" I ask them, "You came along without knowing?" Ino asks looking at me and I giggle, "I've heard that before. But I know the basics. Kinda." She let's out a sigh and goes on explaining. After she's done I look up at the sky, "What about Naruto? Where is he?"
"He's missing. I thought you were told this." Shino says looking at me. I smile, "Yeah, how though?" And more talking. Let's see, 2 ninja. Sunk underwater. Come on memory! Geez. Oh right! He get's saved by… by that girl… and she's…. She's… yeah, she's the so called 'monster.' I was so deep in thought I didn't notice that we had stopped and accidentally run into Anko.
"S-Sorry." I mutter and she nods. "What?! It's her!" Ino points out and I see the girl, "I wonder where she intends to go." Anko ponder. We watch as she looks around, "She's cautious." Shino states, "Let's follow without being noticed." Anko says and we jump out of the trees to follow the girl. We get in and see her in the fish like form, "It can't be! So you must be the Demon of the Ocean!" Ino exclaims and I facepalm. Instantly moving my hand to my curse mark. I glance at Anko who's done the same. Shino and Ino both run out to the girl but I'm a bit busy gritting my teeth trying to ignore pain being produced from the curse mark.
"An...ko?" I see her with her eyes shut… Memories… I reach my hand out and touch Anko's shoulder to have a huge wave of pain hit me, along with flashes of memory. Not mine. It's a young Anko and Oro looking at the girl. With that creepy butt scientist that isn't Kabutt.
"The frightening thing is to neglect pursuing the truth." Oro's voice echos in my head and I realize I'm on the ground… coughing. Anko bends down to me, "Y/n..?" I look up and smile, "I'm fine." Suddenly I hear Naruto run by onto the water to see Shino has the girl tied up. I sigh and jump up, slowly walking over.
"Isaribi...?" I overhear Naruto mutter as I slowly walk over, "It's you… You really are Isaribi, aren't you?!" Naruto inquires and I sigh, Wait till he learns who's behind it all… "Naruto! What are you talking about?!" Ino asks, "Just wait! Isaribi, answer me!" She breaks the bonds, "After her!" Ino shouts, "Wait! We can't be so harsh!" Naruto defends, "Explanations will have to wait. We're in trouble if we let here escape." Shino reasons and Anko walks over still holding her curse mark. I frown, But my pain stopped… right?
I hear a laugh and look to find a guy standing next to Isaribi, "Who are you?! Give Isaribi back!" Naruto shouts, "Naruto…" He glances at me but other than that ignores it, "Like that will happen! She's an important guinea pig. If she's lost, I'm responsible for it." I glare at the guy, "Then man up and take you flipping responsibility!" I shout but he just laughs and sinks into the water with Isaribi.
"We have to go after her!" Naruto yells and tries to chase him, "Don't! Remember yesterday!" Anko says, successfully stopping Naruto, "But he'll get away…" Naruto argues. This just make the man laugh more as they fully go under and the whirlpool.
"No question about it. That was her." Anko mutters then falls to her knees. I flinch from slight pain and then Anko faceplants into the water. They all look at her, even Shino shows a little shock, "What in the world is going on?!" Naruto questions. I grab Anko and carry her back to shore fully ignoring any pain flares going on, Naruto's asking the right question, I should be in a lot of pain to… Not that I'm complaining…
"Y/n, do you know wh-" I cut Naruto off, "Be quiet." It came out a lot more rude than I ever meant, I don't know why either. I look to see it's basically night by now and sigh, "Sorry Naruto. I'm just… not really in the mood." He grins, "It's alright!" I roll my eyes at his childishness, "I just thought that you might know something. You just seem so… so…"
"Intelligent?" Shino offers making my eyebrows shoot up, "Huh?" I ask, "Yeah! She always seems so smart, pretty and cool…" Naruto goes on listing things and I develop a small blush and giggle, "Guys! Is not really the time?" Ino huffs as I lay Anko down, "Well? How is she?" Shino asks as Ino examined her, "I don't know. She collapsed so suddenly." Ino admits. She looks at me and I sigh, "Look. I can't say much but she's recovering memories from here. It was part of my mom's plan…"
"Really? Plan for what?" Ino asks, "I-I… You'll see. It's not my place." Shino nods, "Then for now we should get back to the inn." I nod, "Yeah…" I look down at my f/c necklace, It's been awhile… Since I put a large amount of chakra in. I do it every day but not much… maybe I should… just for tonight. And the diamond. "When we get to the inn I'll see what I can do with my medical ninjutsu."
"But what's gonna happen to Isaribi?" Naruto asks, "Who cares? She's the Demon of the Ocean!" Ino protests, "I know but.." Naruto strays, "What happened with you and that girl?" Ino asks, "I told you! She saved me!" Naruto exclaims, "Look guys." They all look at me, "We should just go, explain more in the morning." They all nod and this time Shino picks up Anko and we go to the inn. Gosh they can be such a pain sometimes….
