Y/n's Pov
"I'm fine. Let's just get moving. It's already morning." She states and I nod. Everyone faces out looking for sign of the idiots. Ino looks to us, "The ships for collecting funds are in danger!"
"We've got to follow them right away!" Naruto says and I sigh, "Don't be so rash, or nothing will go right." I say seriously. Naruto looks at me, "What?! But Y/n-" I roll my eyes, "Like heck I'd say that!" I say jumping into a boat. They all follow me, Naruto at the front, Anko and Ino in the middle and Shino and I at the back, steering, Cause that's smart.
"I don't see any ships that look like those that collect funds in the port!" Naruto reports to us. Anko stares, "How could they depart without us? Have they already fallen into Amachi's scheme?" She questions. I look around, "I-I… I think they got a report saying the monster was taken care of but…"
"It's not true…" Anko states in realization, "Yeah, we need to hurry." I say, "But do you remember exactly what happened?" You know Takashi… I don't need this from you right now.
We finally arrive to a heavily damaged ship and the idiots tormenting and taking the supplies. Shino stops a guy from doing, whatever, by throwing a kunai that hits the guys hand, "I'm your opponent!" He says boldly, bugs coming out of him. Ino was helping the crew members out of the water onto our boat.
"Don't be to hasty!" Anko says to Isaribi and the stupid scientist, "We meet again, weirdo!" Her words, not mine, "Excuse me, but I still have something to ask you."
"What are you doing Isaribi?!" Naruto yells, "Cut it out already! Keep this up and you'll really turn into the Demon of the Ocean!" He tells her. The weirdo looks to her, "Do it, Isaribi." He tells her and she lunges at Naruto tackling him into the water. goes to the side where they fell but Anko gets in his way, "Your opponent is right here." She states, "You said that Orochimaru left that research facility half a month ago… Where did he go?" Anko questions. I let out a sigh, So what do I dooooo?
"I don't know. Now that you mention it, Orochimaru had a kid in tow. I heard that the kid is really excellent, unlike you." says.
"Oh, you mean Sasuke Uchiha." I say absently as Anko just states his name. Yeah… duck-butt…
"You know because of his power, that's probably why he ditched you~" He taunts. His gaze lands on me, "He seems interested in you too. I can see why~" I gain an eye twitch, Oooo Death? Please? I look over to see Naruto roll back onto land from afar. I look back to - no, , "Yeah, I'm powerful as all heck." I state.
He pulls out three scalpels and holds them in between his knuckles and lunges at me. I go to flick him but Anko gets in his way. After a few strikes, and words traded he throws the scalpels and pulls out a jar. He gets ready to throw it and I grab it, "Can I eat this?" I question examining it. He chuckles and breaks it, jumping off and pushing Anko towards me. Gas flows out of the bottle making her collapse onto the ground, Dang it… I should play helpless… shouldn't I…? I let out a sigh and faceplant on the deck as he heads towards Naruto and Isaribi.
I listen to Naruto and exchange words and he starts to laugh and taung Isaribi. Then, of course, he transforms into a full fledged sea monster thingy. I faceplant again, Stupid, stupid, stupid. I forgot about that… "You've forgotten a lot of thin-" Shut it! Aren't you helping Naozumi-nii? "Yeah." … Whatever.
My lovely conversation with Takashi is interrupted when I hear Naruto shout, "What are you doing?!" I let out a sigh, This acting weak thing won't work. I jump to my feet and walk over slowly, watching as Naruto starts to fight with . I walk over to Isaribi and she looks to me as I smile kindly.
"I told you…" Naruto starts, standing up from the water, "Until I take Isaribi back… I absolutely will not… quit!" He shouts running back at . In all honestly I think I've forgotten his real name. Ooops. Naruto's sent flying back once again.
"Why… would you go that far to save me?" Isaribi questions Naruto looking at his form. Aaannnddd -Creepy uses a summoning jutsu to summon a Sea Monster. It eats him as the giant water blob suffocates him. I look up angrily, as I step back onto the water. The creep look towards me as Anko tries to attack and bounces off the water creature.
"You're stupid." Story of my life genius. Thanks. "Do you think something like that will affect it at all?" I walk over to the creature and think about it, Yeah, haven't done something stupid in the past hour, why not give it a shot! I think, "Hey blobby~!" I call and everyone deadpans.
I jump up on the creature and right. Into. it's. Mouth. Naruto stares up at me, "What… are you doing…?" He asks and I roll my eyes and grab him by the collar, probably suffocating him slightly, but pulling him out of the blobby. He gets sent on land, in a weakened state but, oops forgot to get myself out.
Isaribi goes to attack the Stupid Scientist and Naruto looks over, "It's no good…I can't let Isaribi go to… that world..." He manages, and I see his eyes slowly shutting. I can feel inside of me right now… what he's doing. Kurama. If he summons his power… it'll probably affect me too… whether it'll give me the same power or make me fall weak… I'm unsure of.
Suddenly half my brain is with the 9 tails, in the corner. I can see Naruto standing in front of the gate. Kurama seemingly notices me and gives some power to Naruto, not fully controlling it, of course, but hey, why not.
Naruto's Chakra starts bubbling and so does mine, So I get the same power…? Or did… "I just lent it to you brat." Thanks Kurama. I can feel the love. "Be grateful you can control yours." I nod, I know that…
"I will never… let Isaribi go over there!" Naruto growls angrily. I land next to him after blowing apart the Blobby.
"What are you two…?" The creep asks. I land next to Isaribi, having the chakra flow down to a small outer coating. She looks to me, "What's going on..?"
"They're the same as you." Anko chimes in. Isaribi gives a confused look, "Same as me…?" She questions and I nod, "Yeah, both Naruto and I have the Nine Tailed Fox Spirit sealed in us." Not explaining, so don't ask.
"The spirit long ago attacked our village. And there was a time when everyone in the village treated Naruto like a monster." Anko states, "Y/n wasn't there back then… and no one really know about her 'power'." I didn't think you did… or did I? "Either way, Naruto works so hard so that everyone approves of him. Y/n was one of the first people to help him instead of shun him...
"Those words… were true…" Isaribi looks ready to cry, "Naruto!" She shouts.
"You bastard!" Naruto yells in a terrifying way. I sigh and Isaribi looks to me, "Will he be alright…?" I nod, "O-Of course. He's Naruto… Everything will turn out alright." I smile slightly.
"So you're monsters too! You're only to be acting you are above me! Take this!" The scientist fires water balls at Naruto who doesn't even move as they dissolve, "What?!" He asks, "Crap!" Naruto jumps at him as he keeps trying. He sends him into the air and kicks him down into the water. The power leaves him and he starts to fall back. He splashes into the water and Isaribi goes after him.
Anko looks to me, "What about your power? How did you get the 9 tails in you?" She asks and I shrug, "Luck?" I smile, looking around I realize the big Blobby sent everyone else into the water, oops, sorryyyyyy~ I think innocently. But they gots it.
"Hey Anko look, the cowards sneaking away~" I point in the water and he turns to us as a rope ties around him, "You're right! I caught the huge coward fish!" She says and I snicker, "Looks like the fishy was gonna try and escape alone." She nods and he stares up at us, sweating bullets.
We finally got everything back in order for the most part. I don't really care about the lectures or anything much like that. I lay back, staring up at the clouds. Suddenly interrupted by Blobby coming back, "Saltwater is it's life… huh?" I say getting up. Naruto smacks the scientist head, "Shut up!" I laugh at the idiots face, "Aww I wanted to do that~"
"Naruto! Wait don't summon him here! They hate salt wate-" Oh, too late. I think as the big frog has been summoned by Naruto. I watch as Naruto tries to order him around and the Chief frog sends a smoldering rock from his pipe right onto Naruto's head, "That's hot! HOT, HOT!"
"You got no business getting so motivated all by yourself!" Chief frog rants, "It itches, itches and I'm getting a rash all over my body!" I hold my hand to my mouth as Ino tell him not to go near her and the others. My face turns red as I try to hold back my laugh when they get splashed.
"Humph! You can't even control the summoned animal you called up!" I glare at Amachi, That's(probably) his name! "Oh? So what? You want to see mine? It's hecka lot worse~" Amachi shrugs, "If he doesn't send that thing home Sea Monster will eat him and he'll look like a slug."
"A slugh, he says?!" Chief rages, "Hey, Naruto! I'm going to kick your butt later… Right now, I'll help you." He states. Naruto blinks, "R-Really?!" I smile, "You don't mess with amphibians like him."
"I'll show you my terror!" Chief says as he grabs his sword. Naruto smiles, "Yeah! Now you're talking." He stabs the monster, "Huh?! You rat… let go of me, huh!" He yells as it takes a hold of him. The Chief manages to push off the monster and get away, "This isn't accomplishing anything…"
Chief lobs a large blob of oil as Naruto throws a kunai with an explosive tag attached to it, setting it a flame, blowing Blobby to splashes of water. Chief toad throws Naruto to the air for summoning him to a place of Salt Water and I look up, Well then. He says by an disappears after Naruto splashes back into the water.
Now we're done… I hope. Amachi looks to Isaribi, "Kill these guys!" She looks at him, "I won't." She states boldly. Amachi smirks, "Have you forgotten? I am the only person who can turn you back into a human!"
"If I continue doing this, I'll be a monster all the way to my heart!" She argues back. Naruto looks over and smiles, "That's right, Isaribi." She nods and Amachi laughs crazily, "You're neither a human being nor a fully integrated like me. The best you can do is to live the rest of your life as a monster for your whole life!" He says. I roll my eyes, "Nah, we like her just for her. Nothing you'd ever understand. Too obsessed. Sometimes it's good to take a break from things before you really do go insane. I mean, have you seen the look in your eye?"
"All the same. In the end I hadn't even thought of a way to turn her back to a human!" He says and I nod, "I know because I'm one of the few that can." Isaribi holds her hand to her heart, "No way…" She and Naruto seem stuck on the fact he wasn't going to turn her back to normal as Naruto is going to punch Amachi. Anko and I hold him back, "Stop it. Once we've returned to the village, he'll be punished harshly." She says and I nod, "She' right."
"Well it's about time you told us… Where…. Did Oro go?" I ask close to his ear. He turns his head away, "You think I know something like that?!" He asks and I pull the rope tigher around his skinny a** body.
"Orochimaru tossed Anko aside. It's only right that she follow after him forever." I smirk, "Until he dies." I whisper very quietly so that no one can hear.
"Her and I are very different!" Correct dumbo~ She's a great person. "One of these days my research will prove Orochimaru wrong for leaving it." I tilts my head, "Is that so?" I kick him to the face, "Really?"
"Just for yourself Y/n?! Not fair!" Naruto points and rages. I turn and smile, "Yup! You got to earlier, so I get to now! It's totally fair!"
I go out into a forest just wandering around. Anko went out to figure out her missing memories… So I expect a flare of pain that I don't want the others to worry about. I keep wandering around and as expected, the pain flares largely on my neck. I reach back to grab it, "Ow…" I mutter rubbing it lightly. A few minutes later it fades, She's done...it still aches though… I go to leave the forest, heading to the way I came in.
"Y/n. Wait." I don't turn around as I already know who it is, "What is it, Sasuke?" I ask and his voice doesn't come for a little bit, "You aren't really going to stay, are you?" This catches my attention, "What?" I turn around, "Are you seriously going to stay at the Leaf Village?" I nod, "I don't see why not, but I do know when the time comes I'll help you." I smile mischievously, "But that's far from now~" He glares, "I'll stop you here, Y/n. I'm much stronger now." I smirk, "Sure you are. But for now~" I pause, "You still can't beat me. Train with the snake. Learn what happened. And come back crying." I scoff, "I said still can't. I meant, never will beat me, Duckbutt." I smirk and turn away.
"Y/n. Wait." He says and I snort, "Not gonna happen. After all, you got nothing over me." I say head tilted back slightly, "See ya later duckbutt." I run out with a small smile. I find my way back to the others.
"Yes, because Lady Tsunade and Y/n are medical specialist." I hear Shino saying as I walk up.
"That's right, Lady Tsunade is amazing!" Ino says, "Surely she'll do something for you!" She says and I put on a fake pout, "Oh but I can't Ino?" They all turn to me, "Y/n!" I smile, "Yup." I turn to Isaribi, "You've got nothing to worry about kiddo." I say, "Let's get on the boat now."
"Why Y/n? We're waiting fo-" Naruto gets cut off by Anko calling for us, "What are you doing?! The boat will leave!"
"When did you-?" Ino gets cut off by Naruto, "What were you doing?!" I set a hand on his shoulder, "Let's go. It's fine Naruto." I smile and jump on the boat, "Set sail!" I call to the crew and the all start to go.
"Ah! Y/n! Not cool!" Naruto calls as the others calmly jump on. Naruto rages for a few more seconds as he realizes the boat is pulling away, "Ahhhhhhhhh! Wait for meee!" He calls and runs after us. I smile as he jumps reaching for the boat, and missing, "Gosh dang ittttt!" He yells as he starts falling. I reach over and grab his hand, "Idiot!" I laugh and pull him up as he glares at me and I smile. Everyone laughs and we sail back home.
