Y/n's Pov

Mom took Naozumi-nii for a quick heal, and my guess is she'll try to find out where he went. To be honest, I don't know either. I don't actually know a lot about Naozumi…. Huh I ponder, What did he do… he always seemed to be gone.

"Yo." I look up to see Naozumi standing there, "Gah! When'd you get there?" He chuckles, "Not too long ago, how are you feeling?" I shrug, "Alright." He nods and there's a long silence as he walks over to the side of my bed and sits in the chair right by me.

Suddenly I get up and hug him, "I knew that you wouldn't just leave me." I mutter into his shirt, "That's what I always believed. What I always will, Naozumi-nii." He smiles down at me, "I know but that's why… why I have to tell you this." I look up at him, "What?" His smile turns sad, "You've always had a strong mind. Takashi realized that when he brought you here. But I think you should know, I did technically die." My eyes widen, "But then how..?" He pats my head, "You believe that I'm here. What you think, goes right?" I frown, "But when?"

"To get here. To end up here, I crashed. Dad probably told you but you worked so hard to lock away that memory…" As he spoke I knew something was off, "I felt pain then I felt relief. I guess I wasn't dead. Some force kept me alive. I woke up in the Leaf hospital, badly injured." I frown, Is he... lying? "They asked if I had knowledge of what happened and if I was a shinobi. I couldn't think. I ended up spacing out and then… the Hokage walked in."

Naozumi's Pov (Flashback)

"What's your name?" I look at the elderly man, "It's… Naozumi… Naozumi L/n." He smiles kindly, "How strong are you?" He asks and I frown, "Where am I? What do you mean by how strong am I? What's going on? Who are you?" Questions came out one after another and he just smiles at me, "The Hidden Leaf Village. I'll explain later. We found you badly injured in front of the village gates. I am the leader of this village. The Third Hokage." I look at him confused, "What's a Hokage?"

"Oh dear." The elderly man chuckles, "You were caught in a battle it seems. Luckily you made it out alive."

~Out of Flashback~

Naozumi's Pov

"Battle?" Y/n asks, "What battle? It was a car crash. That's what my sorry excuse of an adoptive brother told me." She spits, "T-They thought it was a battle. From how badly I was injured… I guess." I lie, Why… why am I lying? "But anyways…"

"Stop." She says looking me in the eyes, "Tell me the truth. Right now." She states seriously, "I don't want to live a sheltered life. I won't and I can't." I frown, "What do you mean by you can't?" I ask.

"I mean I've killed people. Stolen a life. I know this world is far from perfect.. I have no right for a sheltered life. Nor do I want one." She says and I stare, "All I've heard you do… is prevent people from dying…" I say and she shrugs, "Well that's that, now tell me."

~Back to the Flashback~

"Alive…?" I wonder, "I was… no I did crash…" I mutter. The Hokage looks concerned, "Crashed? What were you doing?" I hesitate, "Fighting… I think? War…" I murmur. He nods there was a war… but that was awhile ago…" I shake my head and shrug, "I'm sorry… I don't know…"

"Why do you have a leaf village necklace?" He questions, pointing at my neck, "I… don't remember…. Not sure…. I-I think…. My little sister…. Gave it to me…?" I mutter and hold my head in pain, Fudge…. I think, That hurts still…. Remembering….

"Are you alright…?" The Hokage asks and I shrug shaking my head, "It hurts…. To remember…anything." He nods, "It may take time. But we have some ninja's here that might be able to help or at least keep you company for the time being." I nod, "Sure." I say with a small smile, "Thanks." He chuckles, "Of course, you don't seem like a bad person anyways. I shall be right back."

It seemed like only minutes as he came back with a raven haired boy, "This is Itachi Uchiha, I don't think he can do much about your memory but it's someone to talk to." I nod with a small smile.

"Medical ninjas will be in here in a bit but I have other business to take care of, so I'll be off." I nod again, "Thanks." He smiles and leaves to do whatever.

"Hey." I say to Itachi as he takes a seat, "What's it like around here?" I ask. He stays silent for a bit, "It's pretty peaceful I guess. Not any wars for a while and ever since the nine tails was sealed…" I tilt my head, "Nine tails?"

"Yes, a beast that did a lot of damage and took many lives. The Nine Tailed Fox Demon." He tells me. I nod, "Oh…" he looks to me, "You have amnesia?" I nod again, "Y-Yeah… but I remember things here and there…"

"Like what?" He questions and my hand goes to the necklace I was wearing, "My little sister…" I say with a small smile. Itachi looks at me, "I have a little brother, you think they're the same age?" I shrug, "Possibly." He shrugs, "Is she here? Maybe they could hang out, Sasuke doesn't have many friends so…" I shake my head, "I don't know where she is…"

"Huh…" Itachi goes to say something else when…

"Hey Itachi!" A boy about his age says coming in through the window. I jump and the other boy laughs, "Who's this?" I just stare at this guy, "You just… came in through the window…" I utter and he laughs more, "Thanks, I'm aware! The names Shisui! Shisui Uchiha!" I nod slowly, "Naozumi… L/n." He smiles, "Pleasure to meet ya!"

"Shisui what are you doing here?" Itachi asks and Shisui shrugs, "I got bored and saw you in here, thought I'd drop by." He says, "Say you wanna go get something to eat?" Itachi deadpans at him, "Well maybe later, the Hokage told me to stick with this gu-"

"Great! We'll take him with!" Shisui says with undying confidence. I sweatdrop looking between the two, "Umm…"

"Shisui, he's injured. And just woke up." Itachi argues. Shisui shrugs, "But everyone wants something to eat." They both look to me, "I mean… I am hungry bu-"

"There it's settled, let's go!" Shisui says, but how am I I start to wonder,when suddenly I get pulled to my feet, stumbling quite a bit.

~Out of Flashback~

Y/n let's out a small snicker, "Sounds like him." She states and I nod, "Yup." I chuckle, "He hasn't changed much."

"True that." Y/n states, "Now continue."

~Back Flashback #3 or something~

Ending up at a restaurant I was seated by Itachi with Shisui across from us, "So how'd you get in the hospital anyways?" Shisui asks after we had ordered food. I shrug, "I got injured." He chuckles, "I mean what'd you do?"

"Oh, well everyone seems to think it was a battle… so I guess it was probably a battle." I say.

"Ohh, I see. Amnesia a too?" He asks and I nod, "Yup." He smiles, "Man that sucks! But hey, you can still train right?" Itachi looks at him, "Shisui you aren't going to-"

"Because it'd be cool to train with you, maybe introduce you to Sasuke, oh but the clan doesn't like outsiders that much…" Shisui says more to himself. How'd this guy befriend me so quick? "You know what, let's train after this." Shisui states and I blink, "Well I really d-don't know if I can-"

"Sure you can!" He says with a smile and finally our food comes. Itachi didn't really get much and I wasn't sure what I wanted so I let Shisui order for me. Oops. This guy…. I smile and eat the food, it was actually pretty good. After we all finish I look to them, "Uhh… who's paying?" Shisui blinks and pulls out his wallet then looks to Itachi, "I can.."

Itachi sighs and shakes his head, "You are unbelievable sometimes." He pays the waiter and we leave. I'm surprised I'm not hurting more… I think looking around, "Hey, do you know when you need to be back?" Shisui asks me looking over, hands behind his head leaning back a bit. I shake my head, "I don't think I was supposed to leave in the first place…."

"Oh, ok." He says with a shrug and a smile, "Well we're at the training field anyways and I wanna see what you got~" I sigh, "But of course." I give a small smile, "Well what do you want to see? I don't really… remember these so called, 'skills'." I state and Shisui chuckles.

"We'll just have to rely on your muscle memory then. I'll just attack you and see what happens." My eyes go wide, "W-What?! You can't be serious!" I exclaim and he shrugs, "I don't see why not. You at the very least have the will to live."

"Huh?" I ask and he smiles, "If you didn't you'd probably already be dead." I blink, He's right… huh… My thoughts are cut off by a sharp object being thrown at me. I let out a small yelp and jump out of the way, "OI!" I shout, "I wasn't paying attention!"

"Pff like you're attackers would!" He retorts, Fair enough. He keeps throwing blades at me, if I recall their called kunai, as I keep dodging, unintentionally… getting closer to him. Sooner than I realize I'm within arm's distance of Shisui and I give him a shove to the ground. This makes both guys blink. Shisui slowly breaks into a grin, "That's what I'm talking about! You sure you're injured? That was pretty fast movement. Then again I wasn't using Sharingan, but hey, you're pretty quick." I was too busy looking at my own hands to answer him, "Uh-huh…" I let out barely.

"Well, you seem to be a close combat person and pretty skilled fighter. However if Shisui hadn't been holding back, I doubt that would've happened." Itachi says with a small smile, "But I don't know."

"Hey! Itachi! There's no way this injured guy could beat me!" Itachi chuckles slightly and I smile, offering Shisui help up, which he takes, "Say what you will, but with training I'm sure he can get stronger." Shisui nods and goes to say something but is cut off.

"Itachi-niisan!" A little boy runs over and I look at him. He has raven hair and onyx eyes like Itachi. With the honorific I assume this is Itachi's little brother he spoke of.

"Yes Sasuke?" Itachi asks looking to his brother. Sasuke looks up, "I want to train with you!" He states and I chuckle at the boy. He turns to me and Shisui, "Hi Shisui! Who's this?" I smile, "My name's L/n Naozumi." Sasuke nods, "Nice to meet you!" He turns back to Itachi, "So will you train me?" He asks. Itachi looks to both Shisui and I.

"I gotta get back to the hospital, probably." I state with a shrug. Shisui nods, "I think I'll go with him just in case." I roll my eyes but smile. Itachi nods at Sasuke the to us, "Then I'll see you both later."

Once Shisui returned with me to the hospital room we find the nurse almost panicking. When she spots me she instructs me to lay down so she can do a check up.

"L/n-san! You are not supposed to be wandering around! You are injured from war!" She scolds and I smile sheepishly, probably shouldn't mention I was doing a little training…..

"Anyways, do you have family members we can contact?" I shrug helplessly, "Can't recall…" The nurse nods "I see, that's right. Well I'll tell you if anyone comes by. You seem to be doing fine, just take it easy." She tells me and I nod, "Alright, thank you." She nods and leaves. Shisui smiles at me, "Well I'll get going and let you rest, but I'll be back."

"I figured as much." I state and he chuckles, "Bye Nao." I blink as he jumps from the window, "Hey! What's with the nickname?!" I shout and hear a laugh in response. I let out a sigh, war… huh?

~Back to the Present~

Y/n's Pov

I was in a state of many emotions. Itachi and Shisui knew my brother, and said nothing? But I guess he never mentioned my name or looks…. I look up at Naozumi-nii, Glad he told me directly… I smile slightly, Guess Itachi didn't know. Maybe we can surprise him sometime. The 3rd Hokage didn't know it either…. "well your last name gave me a theory." I sigh, Gee thanks for telling me. "It wasn't like that child, and you know it." I know...

"Did you know our father was in the war?" Naozumi-nii asks, breaking me from my thoughts. I shake my head, "No…" He looks to me, "Then you wouldn't know I took his place on the battlefield?"

"And that's how you died… honorably…" He nods, "Well I thought I died, apparently, not."

"Wait a crash?! That doesn't size up!" I say and he shrugs, "It does if you were flying a plane."

"Oh." I respond looking down at my hands, "Thanks for telling me… I knew some of it anyways." He stares at me, "What?! How?!" He asks and I smile, "Did you know you sleep talk?" He blushes in embarrassment, "N-No…"

(Kinda Extra, Kinda Not: still Y/n's Pov )

I giggle, "Yeah I got a recording~" I tease.

"How?! There aren't camera's here!" I hold up my otherwise pretty much useless phone, "This still takes video's ya know~?" He sighs then lunges at it as I jump away from him, "Hah! Nope~!" I get up and run out the window, landing easily and breaking into a sprint.

"Are you sure you got injured?!" Naozumi yells after me and I nod, "Yeah! But I'm not injured anymore!" I yell back and keep running, trying to avoid bystanders but failing anyways, "Oof." I grunt as I fall back on my butt looking up at the person I ran into.

"Sorr-" When I actually see who it is, I get back up and keep running, Crap! I don't have the time to deal with mom and Shizune-née! I think, "Y/n! Get back here!"

"Nevahhhh!" I call back and keep running as if my life depended on it, maybe it did just a bit.

~Elsewhere~

3rd Pov

Itachi had been listening to Naozumi's story and a faint smile could be seen on his face. Pein walks into the room with the crystal that Y/n's ring is connected to, "What's going on?" He questions and Itachi points to the image of Y/n running from Naozumi, "It's Y/n."

Of course it is, Pein thinks with a small roll of his eyes, "What's going on with her?" Itachi shrugs, "Typical Y/n things." It is Y/n after all. What do you expect? Itachi thinks as both males watch the girl a bit more before leaving for other things. So… the little sibling was Y/n… interesting.
