Y/n's Pov

"Ok, if you're not lying, then why did Pein say you were here?" I question. He shrugs, "To throw you off?" He asks, "Why would you listen to him anyways? Do you trust these people?" He throws back.

"You're avoiding my question!" I shout, I can't tell him… can I? I could really use some HELP. "What? Oh rightttt… Nah, you got this~" Minato I'ma smack you. "Well it is your brother Y/n…." … Mmm…. Fine!

"... and it's not like you didn't just turn that around on me- Hey! Are you listening to me?!" Naozumi questions with a shout. I give a sheepish smile, telling him everything he needed to know, "Ugh…" He facepalms, "I saiiiiddddd, I don't think it matter-"

"Of course it frickin matters! You got medicine from here, how would you know it's not poison? Huh?! Maybe you trust them!" I fire back.

"I mean uh," He pauses, a look of realization appears on his face, "You know we left Shisui and Yahiko behind, right?" He says.

"..." I say nothing, just expressionless.

"..." He looks at me, "Wel-"

"We'll finish this later!" With that we both run back. Then, thinking again, I grab his arm and teleport inside the base. The Akatsuki members were talking with the two missing members of my group. I grab Shisui and Naozumi grabs Yahiko and we teleport outta there real quick.

"What were you two doing?!" I hiss at them. Yahiko shrugs, "Waiting for you to do that?"

"Plus we still have to finish the actual mission part." Shisui adds. We all trade looks, "Welp." I state, "That's a fair fricken point."

"Well, now what?" Naozumi questions. I smiles sheepishly, "I saw a scroll on Pein's desk… could grab that and ru-"

"Hello there~" I'm so rudely interrupted by a plant man. I turn to face him, "Hey chatterbox, wicked tongue." I say with a roll of my eyes, "Would you not just pop in? I thought you just snuck around and eavesdropped not actually, like, made your presence known." I state. Yahiko and Shisui nod, "She's not wrong…" Shisui says.

"Yes I suppose that's what we normally do…" Zetsu admits with a shrug, "However… tell me if I heard you correctly, this is Shisui Uchiha and Yahiko?"

"Nooo…" I drag out the word, "What chu talkin aboutttt?" Everyone facepalms right then and there. Zetsu gives a smirk, "So you can revive people?" I shake my head, "No."

"Then explain how two dead people are here." I shrug, "You're delusional. It's just their names, doesn't mean it's those dead people, it could just be two people. It doesn't even look like them."

"True, but how did you know who?" He questions. I frown, "Huh?"

"They died quite some time before you were around." He states. I shake my head, "No, because Sasuke knew Shisui so I could've when he was at the village." I state, BS-ing everything.

"Itachi said you weren't apart of the village a back then, he told us he never knew anyone like you." I roll my eyes, "I didn't get out much."

"Then how did yo-" Zetsu gets cut off by Naozumi, "My life you talk a lot! Listen, just leave us alone ya butt!" He snaps, "Honestly." We all blink at Naozumi, "What? Oohhh I get it, Y/n can do that but I can't. I see how it is." I giggle, "Well I was definitely thinking it."

"Fine. We will leave." Zetsu states, shocking most of us.

"Yea! Get! Get!" Shisui says shooing him away, making an odd face. Zetsu shakes his head and vanishes into the ground. Yahiko looks at Shisui, "Well be back, Y/n, you and Naozumi… talk." I nod, "Alright, don't get killed." I say and with that they vanish.

"Sooo about my trip…." Naozumi looks away from Y/n, "I did come here but it was to chat with Zetsu about your condition." He states. Y/n stays silent so he continues, "I got upset and Pein walked in. He… well, I don't really know what happened but…"

"But?" I question. He looks to me, "I let it slip you were, erm…" He fiddles with his fingers. After a bit, I facepalm, "You didn't. You did not let it slip I'm a Jinchuriki." I say, Hah, I know, Pein mentioned it.

"Well, maybe?" He says nervously as I shake my head, "And you're the older sibling." He blinks, "You don't seem as mad," He pauses, "As I thought you might be." He states. I shrug, "Well I mean, they were bound to figure it out." I say.

"Yeah, bu-" I cut him off, "I'm trying to give you an easy way outta that one." He shuts his mouth real quick, "But the medicine…."

"Well… I guess… I guess I kinda knew Itachi had something similar to you, but I also knew Zetsu is a butt." He says looking up at the trees and sky.

"Pff we all know this." I say, leaning against a tree. He looks to me, "You're still upset, huh?"

"Well I should've known anyways… there's only one person who can make pills like that." I say after a moment of silence and ignoring his question. He still got his answer with just what I said.

"Sasori." He states and I smile slightly, "Andddd we still fought over it, plus it got in the way of a mission. And as the leader, I shouldn't have let that happen." I pause, "Then again I originally planned on coming alone." He shrugs, "Oops? The mission still got finished though."

"It did?" I question and he nods with a small smile, "Yeah, Yahiko and Shisui got some information, plus I'm sure they got that scroll you mentioned earlier. For that matter, I want to check something here real quick…" He mutters the last part. I give him a smile, "Go for it~ Tell me about it when we get home, ok?" He nods, "Of course."

"One more thing." He looks over at me, "Hm?" I look up at him, "We don't let this happen again." He nods and laughs slightly, "Yup! Sounds like a plan." He pats my head and then vanishes into the forest.

I run in the direction Shisui and Yahiko had gone off in in order to give us some space, "Hey guys!" I call out as I see them. They both turn from their own conversation to face me, "Y/n!" He says snapping and giving a finger gun, "What's up?" Yahiko asks. I laugh, "Ah, nothing, let's get moving, that mission was short and I was told we should help Guy's team," Something tells me Naruto got to go. I think looking sideways, "So we should get moving. Naozumi's finishing up around here." I state.

"Uh, is that a good idea? I mean after this time?" Shisui asks and I nod, "Yup, we made a deal to not let this happen again." Shisui gives a hesitant nod, "Alright."

"Anyways this mess it all your guys's fault." I state with a shrug and walking away. They both blink, "What?! How?!" The shout, as I laugh, "If you hadn't asked to come along, I wouldn't have shouted for others to join us sarcastically."

"So it's still your fault!" Yahiko says and I shake my head, "Either way you would've come along, right?" Shisui looks guilty, "Hah, you're right…"

"Exactly! Now let's go!" I say with a small laugh and teleport us elsewhere.

Naozumi's Pov

I was around the edges of the base, thinking and waiting in a way. I take a breath, Anytime now, he'll show up… I think, eyes shut. Then I stop moving, sensing his chakra. There's a long silence and finally;

"Naozumi, you never got back to us on whether you were to join or not." Pein says from behind me. I stay standing in place.

"So what do you say?" Pein asks, "We could use someone like you." He states and I open my mouth to reply then shut it, "And if I said yes?" I question finally, after sometime.

"Come again?" He questions, slightly off guard. He obviously expected a flat out no… I think, "You heard me. What would you do if I said... I would join the Akatsuki."
