Y/n's Pov

Ever since I got back, Naozumi has been worried about Orochimaru but found it easier if we didn't tell anyone, does anybody else see that as a bad idea?! Either way he's been training with me and when he can't, he finds someone else, be it from our household vessels to people like Neji.

"Y/n?" I look to find Yahiko standing there, "I think it'd be good if you went through my memories to understand… better what they found." Yahiko states and I blink, "Oh well… I mean…" I sigh, "That'd probably be good. Should we grab Naozumi-nii?" He nods, "Yeah."

He walks off only to come back moments later with my older brother. Naozumi sighs and smiles, "Alright, so how are we doing this?"

"We all hold hands and chant like it's a cult." I state and Naozumi blinks as Yahiko cracks up, "Ok!" He grabs both mine and Noazumi's hand and I snatch Naozumi's other hand, "Yahiko, focus on the memory." He nods and I connect all our minds to see what he's seeing.

~Flashback~

3rd Pov

"Kabuto, what is that?" Orochimaru asks, "This?" Kabuto holds up a vial, "It's a tear from Y/n. She used her tears to heal her comrades, I wanted to keep it just incase."

"Y/n?" Sasuke asks stepping forward, "When was this?" He asks, No matter what I tried, I couldn't bring myself to break my bond with Y/n… "A while ago. When they retrieved the 5th Hokage." Kabuto explains smugly in a tone that says, You weren't there sucker~. Orochimaru's head perks up, "There's someone here…."

Meanwhile Yahiko was listening in by a jutsu. He decided it'd be a bit risky to stay longer and left swiftly to tell Shisui. Shisui had stared for a solid minute.

~Present Time~

"Well, that's fun. Sasuke probably knows now too." I mutter with a sigh, "Yayyyyyyy… Duckbutttttt." Yahiko snickers as Naozumi grumbles about something.

"Ok!" Naozumi says, snapping out of whatever he was going on about, "I'm actually going out on a mission today, Y/n be careful." I blink.

"Wait, wha-?" He chuckles, "Don't worry, it's just a small one, B rank." I huff and flick him, "Fine. Ima go see this idiot off~!" I snicker as he jaw drops.

"Whaaaattt? No." He states and I laugh, "Yup, let's gooo~ I can tell you were getting ready before Yahiko dragged you out here." He walks out the door and I follow taking that action as his defeat.

As we get to the gates he looks at me, "I want you to be careful, ok?" He asks, putting a hand on my shoulder. I give him a grin, "You worry wart. I'll be fine." I look at him and roll my eyes, giving a small smile, "It'll be fine, ok? As long as you come back safe too." He nods with a smile, "Thanks." With that he jumps off and I let out a sigh, Might as well go back to the others.

~Toomskip~

Y/n's Pov

I let out a huff as Shisui grins at winning a round of go against me. I cross my arms, "I went easy." I say and he snickers, "I know. It's the only way I win." He smiles and ruffles my hair, "Why don't you take a walk?"

"It's not like I've been on my phone all day, geez, this actually requires thinking." He tilts his head, "You're what?"

"Walk it is!"

"Huh?! Wai-"

"Bye! Love you guys! See ya!" With that I walk out the door and slam it shut it. I huff and let out a small giggle, "Deary me."

"What's with you?" I turn to find Shikamaru standing a bit away from me. I walk over and smile, "Avoiding people's questions." He nods and we just start walking, "So what are you up to, Shika?" He shrugs, "Just finished cloud watching. Walking it off I guess." I nod, "Fun, fun."

"Where have you been lately?" He asks and I huff, "Extra extra training. My brother's worried quite a bit…" I guess with valid reason. He raises an eyebrow, "About?"

"Oh, not much. Just paranoid older brother." I smile and Shika chuckles, "I see."

"So have you guys been looking for me?" I question and he nods, "I guess. Naruto said you vanished on your last mission for a bit." I laugh and rub my neck, "Yeah…. Bout that."

"So, I guess that has something to do with your brother's worry." He states and I huff, "Why are you so smart?" He smiles and shrugs, "Want to tell me?" I shoot him a playful glare, "Are you sure you're willing to get involved with the bullshit that is my life?"

"Well, sounds troublesome, you can tell me if you want. I'll listen whenever." I giggle, "More like you'll be too lazy to move." He shrugs, "Same thing."

"Hey! We got a mission! Shikamaru come on!" We look over to see Choji waving. Shikamaru looks to me, "What a drag… Guess I'll be leaving, see you around." I nod and wave as he walk off, "See ya!"

After that I wandered around aimlessly till I ended by the front gates, "Hey Y/n." I look over to see a miracle, the guards are awake. I give a grin, "Hey to you two as well~!" They both smile back as I walk over.

"Heard your brother's been training you like crazy, how's that?" Izumo asks and I let out a laugh. "Fine, how'd ya know?"

"Lee was going on about how Neji got to work with you earlier this week before their team left again." Kotetsu states and I snicker. "Of course."

"Well any entertainment helps us." Izumo says at that Kotetsu agrees. "Hey why don't we hang out for a bit, like you said my brother's been crazy for my training but also my protection. Guess that's natural."

"We are supposed to be working.." Kotetsu states and I snicker. "Yeah, but I think mom wouldn't mind a few guards for me, right?"

"I… can't argue with that," Izumo states.

"Les go!" With that I snag Izumo and Kotetsu's hands and run off before anyone else can protest. Ignoring the small protests as we were running, of course.

"You sure have changed from when we first met you." Izumo remarks and I snicker, "I'd hope so."

"So what's your brother really going off about?" Kotetsu asks and I shrug.

"Really, I'm not to sure," I say with an innocent smile.

"Are you so sure about that?" Someone asks and I look sideways, as do the two guards with me. There's like 30 guys there and they don't look too pleasant.

"Y/n-"

"Sound village. Orochimaru's men, right?" I question and the 'leader' nods. "Correct."

"Ick." I say and he sneers. "Why don't you just come with us, and we'll leave peacefully." He offers 'kindly'. "No way in hell!" Izumo speaks up as the two guards with me take a stance. Cause yes, this is fair. 2 chunnin and a me vs 30 guys. Yeah, I'd say that's equal. I should probably check the area as well… for others. I take this time to use byakugan.

Oh… I guess it's more like 60 vs us 3… "Izumo, if this goes south, I need you to tell my mother, understood?"

"Wha-"

"Understood?" I question again.

"Got it." He responds this time and the fighting begins.

~Timeskip also Elsewhere~

3rd Pov

"Sir!" Orochimaru, Sasuke and Kabuto turn to find one of Orochimaru's subordinates standing there, "We've found her but had to use a lot of force to get her here." They all see him with a broken arm and he was limping, "We lost almost everyone." Orochimaru nods, "That's fine. Is she secure?" The subordinate nods then passes out on the ground, "Kabuto, clean this up and hurry to the lab with that tear." Sasuke's eyes widen, "Does that mean..?" Kabuto nods, "Of course. Y/n's here right now." Sasuke stares, "Sasuke, I want you to come and help me with this."

Sasuke nods slowly and follows Orochimaru. Orochimaru leads him to a room, sliding open the door to reveal the passed out and beat up Y/n. Sasuke walks in, emotionlessly well, externally anyways.

"What do you wish for me to do, Lord Orochimaru?"

"Keep her sedated but make sure she recovers… mostly," Orochimaru says and turn to Sasuke who was looking at Y/n.

Sasuke's Pov

I look over Y/n's beat up form as Orochimaru speaks to Kabuto. I walk over, she's still breathing. Her eyes crack open and she spots me. I blink as her mouth twitches into a small smile.

"Alright, Sasuke, let's go. We'll be back soon." Orochimaru states and I nod, leaving swiftly. Why? Why'd she smile at me?

~Location Switch~

3rd Pov

"Lady Hokage!" Izumo runs in her office. "What is it Izumo?" She questions with a sigh, then notices the slightly beat up state he's in. "What happened?!"

"Y-Your daughter… Y/n… we're pretty sure Orochimaru got her, Kotetsu's working on tracking her…" He says. Tsunade nods. "Go to her house and get a few teams together." Izumo nods and jumps off.

Y/n…. what happened..?

Izumo arrives at Y/n's place and knocks swiftly. Takashi opens the door. "Hello?"

"Y/n's been kidnapped by Orochimaru! I need some of the people here to-"

"Let's go." Shisui states and Izumo nods.

"We're coming with." Behind Shisui stands Yahiko, Rin and Minato. Clearly everyone is disguised. Izumo nods and takes a breath.

"Follow me then." Takashi says with a small sigh. "I already know what's going on.

Itachi's Pov

Zetsu had pointed Kisame and myself to one of Orochimaru's bases. He had left and taken the guards down with really no problem. As we go in the inside seems abandon.

"Why are we here, Zetsu?" I question coldly. Zetsu points the 2 in the direction of a lab door.

"You'll see." He states simply. WIth that Kisame and I head in the direction. I slowly step into the room and spot Y/n laying there. My eyes widen a fraction before going back to normal. Kisame walks in behind and stops.

"That's the girl…" He stops. "Let's get that thing out of her arm and destroy anything Orochimaru can use." I nod and simply do so.

~Mini Timeskip~

3rd Pov

"Let's hurry back to the base." Itachi states holding the injured Y/n. Kisame nods, "Anything to keep her from that snake's research." They run back. Upon arrival Pein walks over to them.

"... What happened to her?" Pein asks as they walk in. Itachi makes eye contact, "Orochimaru." He states and Pein's eyes widen slightly, "Really? Fine." Itachi lays her down on the couch and grabs some bandages that are very conveniently laying around. Tobi runs in, "OH NO! What happened?!"

"Ugh, get out of here!" Kisame shoves Tobi away. Tobi 'pouts', But really I wonder what happened…. He ponders.

Y/n's eyes crack open slightly. "Oh…" She lets out a small groan. "My… everything hurts…" Itachi nods but stays silent while patching her up. She winces and Itachi looks to her.

"Just try to go back to sleep. Get your rest." Y/n nods slowly, shutting her eyes once more. Itachi finished up.

"Hey." He turns to find Sasori behind him.

"What is it?" The ravenette questions.
