3rd Pov

Takashi stops abruptly, causing everyone else to follow his action.

"What is it?" Izumo questions and that's when all their eyes fall on Kotetsu, hiding himself behind a tree, holding his arms. Izumo's eyes widen. "Kotetsu?!" No response. Takashi squats down and lays a hand on his forehead.

"What happened?" This makes Kotetsu's eyes slowly search the fairly familiar faces. His tense form loosens a bit. Izumo looks concerned at his friend.

"I found her… at Orochimaru's base and no one noticed me but…"

"The Akatsuki?" Takashi asks.

"Yeah, they took her so I followed them this far. I feel like I can't get closer…" Kotetsu says, letting out a small breath.

"You did good. Rin, heal him up for me?" Takashi says and Rin nods, setting to work. "I want Izumo and Rin to report back. Finnan(Yahiko), Sting(Minato), Grey(Shisui), you stay with me, we will be escorting Y/n back or we will wait here for back up. Take this radio and tell us what Lady Tsunade believes to be the best course of action along with Naozumi." Slowly everyone registers that Takashi was being the leader and they nod.

"Yes sir!" Was the collective response. And with that the split up.

~With Sasori and Itachi~

"How'd you find her?" Sasori asks and Itachi sighs.

"We were scouting Orochimaru's base." He replies blankly.

"Did you patch her up?" Sasori asks.

"Yes," Itachi says. "Why?"

"Was she sedated?" Sasori questions and Itachi blinks once, wait does he care?

"Yeah…."

"I'll go take care of that." The redhead states and picks the girl up before taking her to his room and laying her down gently. He slowly gets to work on extracting and countering the sedative Oro used on the girl.

Once he was sure he got it all he sat back for a while before heading out.

"Sasori-senpai! How is she?!" Tobi asks, following around the poor guy and pestering him.

"Shut up Tobi." Sasori says with a sigh, proceeding to ignore him.

~The Next Day~

Y/n's Pov

I slowly roll myself off of, what I assume, is Sasori's bed, just by looking around at the decor. Oh, I guess the puppets might also have given it away but eh. I walk out of the room and head for the kitchen cause, food.

"I'm surprised you know the layout so well." 'Tobi' comments in his deeper voice. I smile and turn to him.

"My memory's photographic. I remember everything I've seen or read. But… due to circumstances some memories are being… well they're fading." They're being forced out I suppose.

"That's quite an intriguing predicament. What happened to you?"

"A man that thinks he's a snake and is in denial about being a pedo." I remark calmly back to Obito as I start making some pasta.

"Oh… yes quite nasty isn't he?" I snort.

"No shit." I sass. "What's with the dropped act?" I question and he shrugs.

"No one's around right now."

"Can't' hurt to be careful."

"I suppose. Do you prefer me like this?" He asks, going back to his act and I stick my tongue out.

"No. I mean, it's fun and all but… yikes." I crack a smile and he lets out a low chuckle. "Hey, if we met earlier, would we have made good friends?" I ask, plating my pasta, putting spaghetti sauce on top. I walk to the fridge and look around before finding some parmesan and romano cheese.

"Friends? Us? Hm…" Obito thinks for a little. "I suppose we probably would've." I crack a smile.

"My offer of friendship is always there for you…" I murmur. Just give it sometime.

"I'm sorry, did you say something?" He asks and I shake my head.

"Pasta?" I ask and we both hear some footsteps coming our way.

"Pasta~!? I'd love some from you Y/n-chan!" Tobi says and I see it's Deidara walking towards us.

"Leave her alone! She's still healing, hn!"

I let out a small laugh. "Nah, he's fine…"

"Still… be careful, yeah?" Deidara says and I giggle.

"Yes mom~"

Tobi bursts out laughing. "She's right! You are acting like her mom! And your hair-" and Tobi's getting strangled. I let out another laugh as I watch them. I can save them can't I….?

"You two have fun, don't fuck each other, see ya~ I'll be outside." I say with a laugh as Deidara jaw drops and glares. This makes Tobi and I laugh our asses off as I go out.

I find a quiet grassy slightly forested area and look around with a soft hum. This is nice…

Naozumi's Pov

"She WHAT?!" I shout at my mother and Izumo. Rin had casually slipped away earlier, now I see why. Izumo nods.

"Takashi would like to know what you'd like to do," Izumo says and I sigh, taking time to think.

"I'm going to send her a message. I have a feeling Takashi and then can handle the 'rescue' part on their own. We won't need back up." I say. "I need something though."

"That is…?" Mom asks and I look at her.

"The information on where Orochimaru's last know base is."

Y/n's Pov

"Is that a black crowned crane…?" I wonder out loud as the flying beast glides toward me. It lands right next to me and drops a scroll in an elegant like bow. I take the scroll and open it, tossing it away, just incase it blows up. As soon as I confirm it won't, I pick it up again. Side note: I'm pretty sure I saw that crane deadpan.

"Ho boy." I sigh and start to read, it might as well be a howler, since I can practically hear my brother screaming at me.

Y/n, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! You not only get kidnapped and hurt by that fucking snake then you end up with the akatsuki!? HONESTLY I LEFT FOR A COUPLE DAYS! Blah blah blah blah… Also you've kinda sent our village into a frenzzie…

This idiot. Ok, so I didn't read the entire thing and it didn't really say 'blah blah blah blah' but you get the gist. As a side note, I'd consider that a scroll that blew up but maybe that's just me.

"Nice crane." A voice says behind me. It's male, so it's not Konan. I turn, "Hello to you too, Sasori."

"I heard you got injured." He remarks.

"Oh it's wonderful to see you too. I'm doing fine. Yeah I got a little beat up." I smile, "How've you been?"

"Deidara. Tobi." He states, sitting down and I snicker, "Go figure."

"What do you think of art?" He asks. Minefield, here we go. "Hahah… uhm… welllll, it's kind of about perspective. Everyone's thoughts are going to be different. It's a way to express themselves I suppose… an extension of oneself. Passion put into a form."

"I…. I suppose I can agree with that." He says and I smile. "Damn right you can. Thanks for taking care of me, by the way." Sasori shrugs, and only then do I recall he's not wearing a puppet right now.

"It was on orders." I'm sure it was. I think with an internal snicker. "Right, of course. I should head back soon though. Who knows what kinda bullshit my brother might pull… maybe I shouldn't go back."

"What if he comes looking for you?"

"Good point." I nod. "Yeah, you've really helped though…" He nods. "You either get here injured or leave here injured." He remarks and I shrug.

"I came here on a mission last time and I was unharmed."

"I suppose…"

"Why? Worried about me?" I ask, wiggling my eyebrows. He rolls his eyes.

"No." He answers quite bluntly. I pout and sigh. "I should be on my way…"

"Oh fine fine but Sasori?"

"Yes?"

"Thanks for taking care of the sedative." I say and he nods, getting up. "See ya Sori~" I give a grin and he turns back, shaking his head but gives a faint smile.

"Whatever brat…" and with that he's gone. I let out a sigh. I shut my eyes. Takashi?

"Yes?" He responds and I deadpan at the slightly smug tone to his thought.

I assume you and a few others came after me?

"Yep!" He says happily.

"I'm here!" Yahiko.

"Me toooo~!" Shisui.

"Should we come get you now?" Minato asks suddenly, throwing me off.

Go for it dude. I reply.

"Then we're on our way, you have about an hour, see ya then. Adieu~" Takashi informs me.

I get up and look at the crane. "You… feel familiar in your chakra…" I state. It how's it head and suddenly...

"Did…. did that crane just change into a lion…?" I mutter, squinting my eyes. The lion nods and then, and only then do I note the phantom tails behind it. Sure it has it's one solid one but boy do I see… 11… total… oh.

"Hello… What are you doing?" I glare at the plant man, "Piss off."

"Why? What did we do?" I raise an eyebrow, "Gee, I wonder. I'm busy anyways. So… just leave me be."

"So so cold." But he complies. I sigh.

"So uh… Adolphus…. new form?" I ask looking at the lion which quickly turns into a North American Beaver. I deadpan.

"Yes hime. I believe you called them state and national animals. I can turn into anyone of them but they all end up with 11 tails total, however many real tails plus phantom ones."

"Huh... Cool." I say. He nods and then I have a human standing before me. It still has 11 tails. He smiles warmly before turning into a lynx.

"Indeed. I gain the attributes but this could be useful when you need to use and fuse your chakra with mine. Tell me a form and we can work together. I'd like to practice now." I give him an incredulous look.

"Here? Now?" I ask and he simply nods and stretches out.

"It's not like it's odd and it'll heal you fully." He says and I sigh.

"Fine fine, whatever."

After half an hour I collapse on the ground. "No more today." I state and he nods, simply vanishing, back to my head probably. I stare at the sky and suddenly I feel something on my head and look up to find a flower crown, "Tobi's happy to see Y/n doing better!"

"Thanks Obi." I mutter with a shake of my head and a small smile. He chuckles as I sit up.

"What's with you?" He questions. "Do you like me or not? I can't tell." I smile softly at the ground.

"That's a question I cannot answer right now." I state. "If I do, I will end up making things worse…. That's how somethings have decided to work I guess." He tilts his head.

"Alright…?" He mutters and plops down next to me. "How are your injuries doing? I see they mostly healed."

I nod. "Yup, I'm doin pretty good but Naozumi's probably going to make me into a mummy when I get home." Obito chuckles.

"I wouldn't blame him, would you?"

"Nah, just that snake," I respond with a sigh. "I've got a rescue team coming here, think you could chase me like I got away?" I ask with a small laugh.

"Sure~ I can chase you like a pubescent teen boy with a crush~" he responds and I snicker.

"Crushing on me are we~?" I ask, getting up.

"You have no idea senpai~! Oh how I love you so!" He says in his Tobi voice and I lose my shit.

"Bye, Obito." I say and run off into the forest where I know Takashi's coming from.

Obito's Pov

You really don't notice the other guys around you N/n? I wonder with a chuckle. Itachi walks out and looks at where Y/n just left. "She's gone again huh?" I simply nod and turn to head back to the base.
