Chapter 33

(In Virgil's Point a view)

We had got the babies settled and decided that we would watch a movie with Robyn, but our oldest daughter wanted to ask us a few questions. So, we done our best to answer them for her.

"Daddy, Mummy did I do the right thing with looking after Joshua?"

"You did a brilliant job with looking after your little brother. Has uncle Scott been giving tips on how to look after your brothers and sister?"

"Yes, Daddy he took me one day and told me lots of stories about how he felt becoming a big brother. It was very helpful and I can now be a good big sister." Said Robyn, while I was talking to my daughter Jo is on the phone. It sounds as if Rebecca is ready to be picked up.

"Thank you so much for letting me know, we will pick Rebecca up first thing in the morning."

"Jo was that the hospital?"

"Yes, Rebecca came through her operation okay and she can be picked up in the morning, Robyn why don't we get you ready for bed now? Your Daddy is right we are really proud of you for looking after your little brother."

"Okay Mummy why not." said Robyn while Robyn was getting ready to go to bed, I went into check on both Joshua and Scotty who both seem to be out for the count. Once Robyn was settled and in bed Mum had called in to see how we were. We spent the evening talking and going to through internet to see what we can buy to get the apartment up and running again. Mum was in for a couple of hours then decided to go so that we could get some sleep. While Jo was having a shower, I went in to check on Robyn and the babies. Joshua had woken up so I lifted him out and brought him back into the lounge space in our hotel room, While I was feeding Joshua, Jo came out of the shower looking a bit shocked, I had to find out what was going on. "Hey Jo are you okay? You looked a bit scared coming out of the shower what's going on?

"it's nothing really, I am just being silly."

"Look Jo I won't sleep till I know what is wrong with you. Whatever it is we will face this together like we always do." I told Jo as I took my hand in hers.

"Okay when I was in the shower I found a small lump on my right breast, I am so scared Virgil. I really don't want to die; you need me and so do my children." said Jo while trying not to care. So, I just held her there for a few moments. Once she had calmed down, I spoke to her again.

"We will be at Chicago Med the morning and we will get you checked out, I will ask Mum if she could mind Robyn and the boys for us.

So, the next morning we met Mum and the girls down for breakfast. We had told Mum and Holly what was happening and they both said that they would look after Robyn and our boys for us. So, an hour later we headed to Chicago Med to pick Rebecca up. While we were making our way up to the children's word, we thought we heard screaming from a person that we hadn't seen in a while.

"Virgil that sounds like Lisa, I thought she had a miscarriage a few months ago" said Jo who pulled back the curtain to see that her best friend was giving birth.

"And where the hell is your older brother, I need him here right now."

"Okay Lisa please calm down, Virgil why don't you go and get Rebecca and call Scott while you are at it? I will stay here with Lisa. I will get myself checked out later."

While Jo was with Lisa, I picked up Rebecca and went outside with her. Once I got somewhere private to speak, I called Scott from my watch. "Virgil Tracy calling Scott Tracy come in bro."

"Hey Virgil what's up?"

"We are in Chicago Med and Lisa is here giving birth."

"And what has that got to do with me?"

"Oh, you are the dad alright because she is screaming for you, why didn't you go after her after she had left the island?"

"She said that she needed a break Virgil and I gave her that."

"Scott where are you at the moment?"

"Helping 51 out with a plane crash why?"

"Perfect you can jump into 61 and get here then, I think Lisa is in the final stages of labour here and really needs you. Scott, I really don't want you missing this birth

"Okay I will see if I can make it there."

"Scott please just get here, will you? Jo is with Lisa at the minute."

"How come you two ended up in Chicago Med?"

"Rebecca came through her operation for her implants and Jo wants to get herself checked out, if you can get here, I will fill you in on everything."

"Well, we are just packing up here now so I will see you in a few minutes." said Scott

"See you soon and please hurry."

Now that I had called Scott, I met Jo who was standing outside getting some air. Rebecca was clapping her wee hands because she saw her Mummy. Jo had taken Rebecca into her arms.

"Is everything alright with Lisa?"

"Yeah, she is fine and resting now, Virgil we should have told Lisa to stay on the island with us just to make sure that she was okay. If only we had of known."

"Jo Lisa wanted to leave and get a bit of space but she seems to want to have this baby. Scott will be here soon he is only a few minutes away in fact I told him to jump into 61 to get here. He was on site helping 51 dealing with a plane crash."

"That was lucky."

"I know once Scott arrives, we will go and get you checked out. I know that you are scared but it's better to get this looked at. You will pull through this and you have got this Mrs Tracy.
