welcome to the twenty-seventh chapter of my 'Frozen 2013' fanfiction told specifically from Kristoff Bjorgman's point of view. once again, I can tell that Bjorgman really is his family name, I just hope that I don't wear it out. this fanfiction bares the title, 'This Icy Force Both Foul and Fair Has a Frozen Heart Worth Mining', and it's been titled after the signature verse(s) in that one song from the film, 'Frozen Heart'. the storyline of this fanfiction, however, is not really mine and I have been paraphrasing from another 'Frozen' fanfiction on here which bares the simpler title of 'Worth Mining' and had been written years ago by another blogger on this website under the penname of classicdisneyFTW. hey, at least I can say that I actually admit to it. anyways, this chapter of 'This Icy Force Both Foul and Fair Has a Frozen Heart Worth Mining' is a full one-thousand-five-hundred words worth of pure plotline long. there are no comments from me disguised as author's note this time, and the only other words to this chapter that are not within the storyline are this headnote, right here, the disclaimer that is directly following the headnote, and the confession from yours truly about only owning this fanfiction, itself. OK, onto the disclaimer...

disclamation: I do not own 'Frozen' in any way, shape, or form other than owning the film on Blu-ray and DVD. in terms of the movie's production, however, all ownership rights are reserved for the folks of the Walt Disney Animation Studios company of Hollywood down in Los Angeles, California of the US of A. even ninety-nine-point-nine percent of my fanfiction's own storyline belongs not even just one, but rather two other bloggers on this very same website under the pennames of ubermooo for the mini-trilogy that makes up chapters fourteen through sixteen which I titled 'Fire and Ice' after the one-shot by ubermooo which I had used for the fanfiction within this fanfiction's inspiration, and classicdisneyFTW for all of the other chapters in my fanfiction.

the only thing from 'This Icy Force Both Foul and Fair Has a Frozen Heart Worth Mining' which I truly own is the fanfiction in and of itself.

That was when Anna and Elsa had finally released one another from their hug. The snow queen had finally taken notice of Sven and me. "So," she began. I grew nervous about her approach towards us not knowing how she would react to Sven's and my presence at the time. "I know this is a shot way out there, but I'm fairly certain that you and I have yet to properly meet one another." That was what she wanted to say to me? That was it? If a proper introduction was all Queen Elsa was going to talk to Sven and I about, then I guess that there was no real cause for concern regarding exactly what she wanted to talk about.

Before I could say a thing about it to the snow queen, however, Anna spoke up to her sister for me. She probably sensed my nervousness. "Oh, and Elsa, this is Sven and Kristoff," she told her sister with a smile and pointed towards the both of us respectively. "They were the ones who helped me find you in the mountains."

"It's nice to meet you, Kristoff," Elsa said, shaking my hand. "You, too, Sven," Elsa cooed to my reindeer. Oh great, now the snow queen was trying to get chummy and cozy with my reindeer companion and boy did Sven ever seem like he was enjoying it, worst of all. I supposed that all in all, it was the true Elsa from beneath the mask of fear she had always put up in front of strangers, along with the mask of indifference she put up above her mask of fear.

I guess that it was a family thing, however, especially since Olaf and Anna were so eager to get to know Sven when they had first met him. Granted, the former confused me for a funky-looking donkey and the latter did not know that Olaf was gesturing over to me when he said that and unintentionally created confusion up until our time in the Valley of the Living Rock, but I guess that not even the snow queen could ever be hated by animals, unlike the evil prince named Hans.

Back with the story and finally being introduced to her majesty, Queen Elsa, I was just not sure on exactly how to act towards the snow queen, of all people. The only thing that she had to say to me next, however, was nothing but, "I believe I owe you two a debt of thanks for guiding my sister to me and keeping her safe."

I just chuckled slightly nervously at what Elsa, the snow queen, had said to both Sven and I upon hearing about the both of us from her sister who she trusted and loved more than anyone else in the entire kingdom, which was clearly evident from the way she spoke of Anna.

"Not necessary at all, your majesty," I told the snow queen of Arendelle as I glanced at Anna, rubbing the back of my hair with my hand, a surefire nervous habit which I had no doubt developed while journeying with the princess of Arendelle. "I actually enjoyed your sister, uh, Queen Elsa. She's really quite lovable. That is to say that you can't not like her… what I mean is, erm…" I just continued embarrassing myself in front of royalty from there.

Granted, I knew for a fact that I was babbling at the time. I just needed to stop talking for even a little bit before I could say something really bad. Queen Elsa just smiled at me, however, just before turning to face her sister, Princess Anna, thereafter. "Well, I, for one, think that since you've all been out in the wild, wandering about for close to several days, you all deserve a nice change of clothes, a warm bed, a piping-hot cup of tea and a nice, hot bath," the surprisingly gracious snow queen told us all.

Wait a minute. Just who was 'you all'? Surely, she was not talking about Sven and me in addition to her own sister. Anna, I could actually understand Elsa being a little more welcoming to very easily after what I bet had been a full thirteen long years of sisterly neglect, but Sven and I had just met her that day. Anna, however, almost immediately perked up at these words from Elsa. "Ooh. That sounds so good right about now," she said.

Elsa linked arms with her sister, Anna. "Come on," she said to her younger sister.

The two of them both began walking away. Meanwhile, I just stood there beside Sven, just as confused as I had ever been. I saw Elsa glance back at me, however, then whisper something into Anna's ear. "Oh!" I heard Anna suddenly exclaim to Elsa. Then, Anna looked back at me, too. "Don't worry, Elsa. I'll take care of it," she told her sister.

I could barely even find the time to think before Anna was at my side. She coyly looked me up in the face and held her hands behind her back. "Look, Kristoff," she began. "Since it is a bit… warmer now, Elsa and I just figured that maybe you might wanna come in and change clothes, too."

I just raised up my own left eyebrow at her. Anna's eyes suddenly widened most likely upon the realization of just what she had said to me. "In separate rooms, of course, as you would obviously know," she sputtered slightly incoherently. "We've got plenty of things you could wear. I mean, it is a castle. Even I don't know what's all hidden in there, and I've frankly lived there my whole life! I'm just saying that if you wanted to…"

I just had to chuckle at the nervous rambling from the princess of Arendelle. "Sure," I interrupted her after a few chuckles at her babbling.

Anna stopped her incessant rambling just long enough to look up at me once again. "Yeah?" she asked me.

"Why not? It definitely sounds good to me," I told Anna. "Between you and me, I'd been dressed in this winter gear too long for my taste, and I guess since you're offering it…"

"Great! And don't you worry one bit, Kristoff," Anna exclaimed to me right before telling me not to worry. I did not get the 'don't worry' part at first, because I had absolutely no idea just what I had to be worried about. "I'll certainly have someone find you some clothes and fix you up with a bath, right away."

I just smiled at Anna and watched her prance down onto the docks and towards the Arendelle royal palace with Elsa in tow. Even when the princess of Arendelle put her foot in her mouth she was just absolutely perfect. And now I was well on my way to get a fresh change of clothes and… wait a minute. Did she just mention a bath? Wait what?

Yes, I believe that Anna certainly had mentioned a bath. Apparently, she was true to her word in addition to being loyal to her sister and loving to a fault. I found a bath drawn up and ready for me to get in by the time I had reached the palace. I could easily admit that I had never in my life had a real proper bath before that very same day. And I feel like I should tell you that it was quite the first-time experience for me, especially when considering that it had a surplus of bubbles, bath salts, bath bombs, oils, scents, God only knew what else! There were even places to put candles along the edges of the tub, a tray for food on the left and… was that a place to hold a wine bottle to the right? Ah man! Who knew that a bath could be as extravagant as all of this?

I just needed a change of clothes, really. Even when thinking that the bath looked and felt a little over the top, I still simply used it if only to be courteous towards my own hosts. My own family had always apparently thought that even whenever I had used my usual washing methods, they still believed that I wound up kind of on the smelly side… and they were mountain trolls. And as long as I was going back outside to meet up with Anna and her sister, the queen, once again… I would just tell you all that I wanted to make an impression towards Queen Elsa and Princess Anna that did not basically say to the both of them that I was nothing but an 'isolated mountain man with no sense of personal hygiene', no matter how honest an impression of any type it actually was admittingly to my own surprisingly self-inflicted humiliation.
