Hello all of you who have been supporting me by reading this third story of Cicely and her exploits with the "Surprise", Jack Aubrey, and, of course, Stephen Maturin.

I have planned the rest of this story out, however, I am struggling with source material for Australia in the early 19th Century. Apart from Wikipedia and the odd book in the local library and passing references to the 1810s in other works, I'm drawing a blank.

The second bit, is the part of the story that occurs in the background, the Louisiana Purchase, and a schemer who tries to make this land independent in an alliance with Spain over the west, and not part of the USA at all, whose name now I have lost. This seems an incredible story, but again, struggling with source material (in which case, I might have to drop this, but the captain Cicely has already met, Eaton, might be a little redundant.

So, thank you SO MUCH for reading, and your messages, I am truly grateful as an author - such a child I am that even when I get one more review for anything it makes me overjoyed and "buzzing" for days afterwards.

If you ave any information or "leads" in these aspects of history, I would be extremely grateful, and thank you again.
