Arielle fiddled with her long dark brown hair as she stared at her complexion. The candlelight made her face look paler than usual. Downstairs in the Gryffindor Common Room, she could already hear the rowdy laughter and tussle of the Angels and Devils party hosted by Chloe Chalice. Chloe, Sirius's new beau, was a bit on the basic side, but Sirius didn't seem to mind. She was tall and beautiful.

"So, what do you think?" A slender redhead figured asked as she exited the bathroom. Lily did a quick turn around to show off her attire. Arielle's eyes widen at the sight of her virtuous friend. Lily wore a snug lace red dress with a headband that had too little horns poking out of her auburn hair. She looked gorgeous.

"Cat got your tongue, Arielle? Lily laughed, noting Arielle's astonished expression.

"No! Wow…just you look hot Lily…and naughty." Arielle smirked.

"Don't act so surprised!" Lily remarked with a blush.

"I am not surprised really, well I am. It's just, you look different is all. Different is good." Arielle noted. Lily was 15 and close to going on 16. The red headed witch had changed a lot of the past school year. She had relaxed a bit and began hanging out with the Marauders nearly every day. Lily and James were quite inseparable lately. Arielle wondered if love was blossoming between the two. It certainly was for James who had been obsessed with Lily, following her around, teasing her, and always finding a way to snag her attention since he was a first year.

Arielle sighed. Poor Severus. He would lose the Gryffindor beauty soon enough. The chasm between the Slytherins and the Gryffindors and the muggle world and the wizarding world deepened with each passing moment.

"Don't look so glum Arielle. " Lily said sweetly, placing a hand on her friend's shoulder.

"I'm not glum." Arielle replied.

"Look, I know things are uncertain for you right now…" Lily began.

Arielle snorted. Uncertain? Sure, that was one way of putting it.

"Some of the fourth years have been talking about what happened in Potions yesterday. You know, Arielle….I fought some feelings down for a long time. But despite my attempts, they kept brewing inside me."

Arielle knew she was alluding to James Potter. The two used to fight back and forth like cats and dogs.

"So, I decided to embrace my feelings and to be honest, I feel wonderful…more at peace now, you know?" Lily continued.

"It's not that easy for me." Arielle grimaced, understanding her friend's sentiment. Lily completely missed the mark. Regulus hung out with Death Eaters, his family would pledge loyalty to the Dark Lord. James was a git but also someone who defend anyone against the treachery of blood status discrimination. For all his annoying habitats and misdeeds, James was on the right side of the coming war.

"You're right it is different. But Arielle, you should know…I don't think any man will ever look at you the way that Slytherin boy does." Lily said as she reached for her sheer red shaw that lingered on the bed.

Arielle sighed as the door closed behind Lily. Arielle had managed to destroy her relationship with Regulus in a matter of three minutes when the two departed the train and headed back to Hogwarts to finish out their fourth year. Regulus had chosen to align himself with Lucienda, that much was clear to Arielle after seeing them snogging in front of classrooms and in the Great Hall during mealtimes. How many times this week did Regulus snog Lucienda and then meet her gaze from across the room with a wicked smirk on his face? He knew what he was doing. Torturing her. Punishing her. In fact, Arielle was certain that Lucienda and Regulus were already shagging. Her pride was crippled after he rebuffed her on the astronomy tower that night after Rita Skeeter published that scandalous article making Arielle out to be….a brotherfucker?

How Regulus always managed to slither out on top of scandal and leave her in the depths of the snake pit never ceased to amaze Arielle. She really despised him for it. Her life seemed to be going quite smoothly with only the occasional folly until Regulus entered the picture. She wanted to hurt him badly.

"Stop!" Arielle shouted out loud. She looked at herself in the mirror one last time to gather her mind. To truly rid herself of Regulus, she would need to first banish him from her thoughts and tonight, that was exactly what she was going to do. Arielle knew Regulus would be calculatingly absent from the party tonight after the Potions fiasco and Slughorn's misdiagnoses of pure disdain for love. The old professor was really daft to confuse the two.

"Ah, there she is!" Sirius shouted as Arielle emerged from the spiraling stone staircase that led up to the girl's domorities.

"Firewhisky?" Remus asked as he handed Arielle a solid wooden cup. The music was playing loudly and students were talking and laughing with each other. It was the first party after the optional Spring Holiday. Students filled each other in on vacation excursions and the like.

"I see you have gone for a more demure look this evening." Sirius noted allowing his eyes to linger up and down Arielle's body. She rolled her eyes in annoyance. Arielle wore a classy pearl midi silk dress and had beautiful golden wings that glittered in the dim lights. She was the only angel at the party that had wings that weren't hand made. She managed to conjure up a charm that to the onlooker's eye looked as if she actually had wings.

"What a beautiful enchantment Arielle!" Lily cooed as she returned with Chloe from the makeshift bar in the corner of the room.

"Yes, quite the new look for you Arielle. I suppose it's good to try on a new outfit or two every now and then. " Chloe remarked, eyeing the Gryffindor queen.

Arielle stopped herself from retorting and chose to smile sweetly at Chloe instead.

"Oy Arielle! How was Potions yesterday?" James asked while exchanging a wicked glance with Sirius.

"Leave it alone, James." Lily commanded.

"Watch out mate, there is more scolding where that came from." Sirius laughed.

"I don't mind scolding every now and then. Especially when it's from the lips of a beautiful lady." James winked at Lily who blushed furiously into her glass before taking a seat beside the witty Gryffindor.

Arielle had already finished her first firewhiskey quickly and Sirius handed her another one. Before she knew it, the party started to become much more enjoyable due to the relaxing elixir. She partnered with Remus for some dancing with the Marauder gang before finding herself standing alone at the counter pouring herself another drink and watching her friends continue to laugh and sing along with the music.

"Cool enhancement."

"Thanks." Arielle smiled looking to see who her complimenter was. Her eyes widened when she realized it was none other than George Thomas, a sixth year, who also happened to be top of his class. Her cheeks immediately flushed red. Why was he talking to her? In the four years she attended Hogwarts the smokeshow never even glanced at her. She remembered having a slight crush on him her first year but it was fleeting.

"Would you like to dance?" He asked with a devilish grin. Arielle looked him up and down. Wow, he really was a smokeshow. He wore groovy bell bottom pants and a red button up shirt.

"Um, sure." Arielle managed to choke out.

George was an extraordinary dancer. He told Arielle how he was able to check out the disco scene on a trip to America with his older brother. Although, he later admitted he viewed himself as more of a rock n roll guy. He even decided to learn how to play the guitar after listening to Jimi Hendrix's Are You Experienced Album.

"You know, I have always thought it was kind of awesome that you skipped a grade in Charms. I can tell you are really talented with enchantments." George remarked, nodding again at Arielle's wings.

"Charms are a speciality of mine." Arielle smiled. "The exam Flitwick made me take to enter the fifth year class was a challenge but I enjoyed every minute of it."

"You are very studious then?" George asked.

"Well, I'd like to think so."

"I have seen you in the library a lot studying with that friend of yours…he's a fifth year Slytherin."

Arielle blushed again at how casually George admitted to watching her in the library. "Oh yes, Severus. He's pretty brilliant, especially at Potions. Also, a great study partner, he barely utters a word."

George laughed, "Yeah, not a chatty bloke that's for sure."

"Aye! George, come check out this new record." Sirius yelled from across the room.

"Do you mind?" George asked.

"No, not at all." Arielle smiled.

"Well, you're a cool cat Arielle. It was nice dancing with you. You got some groovy moves. Maybe, we can sit together for breakfast sometime next week and I can walk you to your first class."

Arielle felt her heartbeat quicken in her chest. Was it the firewhiskey? Or was it the fact that a super sexy sixth year was asking to walk her class.

"That would be lovely." Arielle exclaimed eagerly.

"It's a date then." George winked before heading over to see what record Sirius had uncovered. Arielle's mouth fell open as she watched George saunter off across the common room. Did she just snag a date with George Thomas?

"Arielle!" Lily squealed, bouncing over to where Arielle stood in shock. "Merlin, I saw you dancing with George Thomas! He never dances with girls at Hogwarts. Don't say anything, but I know for a fact Chloe spent a good portion of her third year chasing George around like a puppy. He's so cool and really smart. One time we had this amazing conversation about…"

"Lily, please…" Arielle interrupted. "I want to enjoy this moment. Tonight was the night that I got asked out by the hottest sixth year boy in Gryffindor."

Lily laughed. "Well, cheers to that!"

It wasn't long before Lily dragged Arielle for another round on the dance floor. Arielle's eyes beamed with radiance and happiness. It was the first time in a long time that she felt good about something. The rest of the night was a blast and Arielle chose to go upstairs as the party was winding down. She slipped off her heels and fell flat on her bed. Binx, her black cat, jumped up on the bed and snuggled himself beside her.

That night Arielle slept soundly with sweet dreams of traveling to America and dancing all night at a hot disco club with none other than George Thomas.

The next three weeks flew by. Arielle's new partner in Potions was a complete slug but she didn't mind. It was far better than having to endure sitting next to Regulus. She was happy that the Slytherin prince completely ignored her, not even looking in her direction or making eyes at her during his makeout sessions with Lucienda outside in the hallway. It seems Slughorn's comment had warned him off. Merlin forbid anyone accuse Regulus Black of being in love.

After her first breakfast date with George, the two Gryffindors realized that they had much in common. They liked similar music, literature, and had the most interesting conversations about the wizarding and muggle worlds. George had taken to walking Arielle to class every morning. He ate breakfast with her and the Marauders every day. He even studied a few times with her and Severus in the library. His prefect duties kept him away most afternoons and evenings, but Arielle didn't mind. She was completely enamored with the attention she was getting from the sixth year. There were five weeks left at Hogwarts and Arielle was determined to make the most of them.

One evening, George asked Arielle to meet him at the astronomy tower. When she arrived, George had set up a beautiful midnight picnic with a bottle of fine wine and some delicate dessert delights. He showed her how to look through his muggle telescope and explained everything he knew about the world beyond the stars.

Arielle spent most of the evening listening to George talk, he was so brilliant. She stared at him with wanting eyes, imaging him shirtless as he meandered on and on about space exploration.

After a second glass of wine, Arielle managed to shore up enough liquid courage to ask George a question that had been plaguing her mind the last week.

"George, I was wondering…well we have been seeing a lot of each other lately…" Arielle began.

"Let me stop you there." George interrupted. Arielle felt her cheeks flush pink. Of course, she would ruin a great thing by bringing up her blossoming feelings for the boy.

"I really like you and well, I can't stop thinking about you. Especially at night, when I am alone…laying in bed." George smirked and Arielle's cheeks deepened to ruby red at his confession.

"I'm a bit traditional and well, if you are comfortable I would like to get to know you more intimately, as my girlfriend?"

"Girlfriend?" Arielle blurted out. "You want ME to be YOUR girlfriend?"

"Well, what do you think?" George asked.

"I mean…uh….yeah!" Arielle exclaimed before jumping into George's arms.

"Wonderful." He chuckled.

"Um, there is one thing I actually need to check first." Arielle said with a naughty smile playing upon her lips.

"What's that?"

Arielle leaned in close and placed a hand gently on George's face. She looked into his sparkling brown eyes for a few moments before closing the space between them. The moment her lips met George's she felt a warm feeling arise in her stomach.

"Just checking." Arielle said breathlessly as they broke apart from each other. George pulled Arielle down to the brown picnic blanket stretched across the floor of the astronomy tower. She straddled his waist, as he sat with his back against the tower wall for support. The two Gryffindors continued to make out passionately. Arielle let out a sigh of relief as George trailed kisses up and down her neck.

"George…this feels so good." Arielle moaned as he began to play with her breasts under dress robes.

"Merlin, you are beautiful." He whispered back before breathing deeply into Arielle's ear which sent shivers down Arielle's spine.

"I want to know what it feels like." Her desire giving her the courage to speak her mind. "I want to know what it feels like to have sex."

"Well it usually hurts if it's your first time." He said before gently grabbing Arielle's face and looking her straight in the eyes. "It's also not something to do if you aren't ready."

"I am ready." Arielle stated boldly. George looked at her skeptically for a few moments, seeming to analyze the situation.

"Listen, I feel safe with you." Arielle admitted. She did feel safe with George. He was kind, respectful, and level headed. Arielle was level headed when she was around him. Unlike with Evan or Regulus, Arielle could actually think when she was around him. She didn't swoon at the sight of him. She wasn't consumed in constant angst when she was near him. Instead, she felt a slow burning desire for the sixth year Gryffindor, a gnawing feeling like an itch that needed to be scratched.

"Are you sure about this?" George asked.

"I am sure…unless you don't want to." Arielle said, looking away embarrassed.

"Oh I am sure." George said before bringing Arielle's lips to his once more. He kissed her softly at first and then more passionately, slipping his tongue in and out of her mouth. Arielle felt her warm wetness start to build in her core. She lifted her dress robes over her head to reveal her naked body to the man in front of her.

The Gryffindor man responded by slipping a finger under her panties into her vagina and placing a hand over her mouth. Arielle gripped George's strong shoulder blades for support as she let out a muffled groan. He began to pump his finger in and out of her for a few moments before slipping in another one, and then another one. Arielle rocked her hips back and forth to the rhythm of his fingers gasping and panting at the sensation. She felt his dick bulging under his trousers and began to undo his pants to reveal a large throbbing cock desperate to be played with.

Feeling curious, Arielle slid her body down George's so that her mouth was near his penis. At first, she began caressing his dick gently, gliding her hand up and down, listening to how his breath hitched every time she neared the head. Feeling more adventurous, she bent down and began licking the top of his penis which elicited grunts of pleasure from her new lover. Arielle began to slowly insert George's penis into her mouth and bobbed her head up and down. After a few minutes of sucking on George's cock, he pulled her head up and kissed her passionately. Arielle slid off her underwear and straddled the strong Gryffindor man once more ready to finally feel what it was like to have someone else inside her.

"You're so wet." He whispered as he massaged her vagina. Arielle groaned in frustration. Her desire was there and she wanted him now.

Sensing her impatience, George positioned himself at her entrance and gently pushed his way inside her.

Arielle yelped in pain and held herself steady on George's shoulders.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yes. Just go slowly." Arielle breathed. The first few thrusts were painful, but after a while the pain subsided and Arielle began to grind her hips against her lovers.

"You feel so good." George cried as his breath quickened each time Arielle's hips met his.

Arielle let out soft moans. The sensation felt good. Her nipples grew harder with each passing moment and she followed a steady wave of desire that guided her movements.

Suddenly, George groaned loudly and pulled Arielle off his penis. She watched as white liquid erupted from its head.

"Fuck." George exclaimed with half closed eyelids. Arielle smirked before kissing her new boyfriend gently on the lips. She snuggled up beside him on the blanket. George wrapped his arms around Arielle kissing a few times on the forehead.

Although Arielle wasn't sure what to expect, sex felt good. It wasn't an amazing mind blowing experience for her first time and did hurt a bit. However, after the pain subsided she enjoyed herself and the feeling of closeness to another person.

"You look different." Sirius barked looking up at Arielle who skipped down the steps of the staircases towards the Great Hall where the Marauders had gathered in a hangout circle waiting for breakfast to begin.

"Different? Different how?" Arielle smiled. Sirius exchanged a wicked glare with Remus.

"How did it go last night Arielle?" Lily asked as she leaned into James's shoulder.

"Ooooooooo!" Sirius bellowed. James, Remus, and Peter soon joining in.

"Oh shut up, she was just talking to him about making things official." Lily chided.

Arielle blushed.

"And how'd you do that Arielle, how did you let a good studious guy like George know you wanted to make it official?" Sirius asked, batting his eyelashes teasingly.

"Ummm…." Arielle bit her lip trying to find a way out of this situation.

"I knew it!" Sirius yelped in triumph. "I can snuff out a good lay from a mile away…"

"Oh, Sirius!" Lily snapped, shaking her head furiously.

"WHAT! I knew you looked different!" Sirius said, wrapping his arm around Arielle and tasseling her hair.

"Don't make a big deal out of this. George won't like it. It's not cool." Arielle stated.

"Guys, GUYS, you're right Arielle." Sirius said dramatically. "Not cool…so not cool."

Arielle rolled her eyes.

"Hey! George is a cool cat, smart, digs the best music and he happens to be shaggin' my favorite young lion–"

"Sirius!" James interrupted smacking his friend in the back of the head.

Arielle shifted her gaze from the floor to look up at James who was staring intently forward. She followed his gaze and her eyes landed on a distraught looking Slytherin boy.

"Ohhhhhhh-um, hi Reggie." Sirius stumbled regretfully.

Regulus stood silently looking intently at his brother.

"Perhaps we should give these two some privacy." Lily suggested intertwining her arm in Arielle's and dragging her into the dining hall. James, Remus, and Peter, followed quickly behind the two Gryffindor girls.

"Is it true?" Regulus asked darkly.

"Hey, look Reg….it's not a big deal or anything. I was just–you know being…" Sirius began.

"Ridiculous? Is it ridiculous? Or is that Gryffindor git fucking her?"

Sirius opened his mouth to speak but couldn't find the words. Sirius was well aware of the secret crush his brother had harbored for the Gryffindor queen. In fact, Sirius had exploited this knowledge to his advantage in the past when he cheated Regulus out of the quidditch cup earlier that year. Regulus began to shake his head profusely.

"Reg–" Sirius reached out to put a hand on his little brother's shoulder who immediately shrugged it off.

"Come on Reg, it's not a big deal." Sirius sucked in his breath when he saw a few stray tears glide down Regulus's face.

"Yeah–not to you." He spat before taking off up the staircase and out of sight.

Sirius watched his brother run heartbroken up the stairs. He wondered if he should go after him. Surely, that's what big brothers are supposed to do? But now, the brothers stood on different sides of the river and Sirius knew he would do everything in his power to try and pull Arielle back to his side, even if that met fucking George Thomas and breaking his brother's heart.

What do you think of Arielle's decision to finally take the plunge with George?
