"Now let's bring attention to the sensations you are aware of. Shift attention to your arms, upper arms, lower arms, your hands, and fingers…"

"Misty," Ash whined. "This is boooring."

Misty inhaled, trying her best to ignore him and focus on the soothing voice giving directions. "Would you be quiet?" she snipped out of the side of her mouth.

"But I'm hungry," he moaned. "And this is stupid."

"Maybe if you stop thinking about food and actually follow along, you'll find it's very relaxing."

"Fine."

"Now, we're going to shift our bodies into Tree Pose," the pre-recorded voice instructed.

Misty breathed deeply as she pressed her palms together and raised her right foot to rest against her left calf.

"...Feel the connection between your body and the floor. Notice each point that connects your body to the floor. Begin to feel the heaviness of the body sinking into the floor..No-"

Misty's focus was shattered by a panicked cry followed by a thud beside her. Cracking one eye open, Misty glanced to her right to see Ash sprawled out on his yoga mat.

Misty burst out laughing and Ash glared back at her. Serves him right.

"Not funny, Misty."

"On the contrary, I find it hilarious."
