As night finally fell, the group gathered around to make the sign. Ryder and LB spray painted the title of the newly-designed garage while CJ made one small sign that read "Grand Opening". Using a ladder, Cesar and Ryder posted the sign on top of the garage while CJ placed the "Grand Opening" sign on the left side. Inside the garage were the workers gathered around: CJ, Kendl, LB, Cesar, Ryder, Lisa, Zero, Dwaine, and Jethro.
"Excellent work, fellas!" Lisa told the other eight people. "So now it's time to celebrate! Aside from the imminent grand opening, this demands a well-deserving party!"
"Jeah!" Ryder agreed. "It's time to celebrate!"
"I'm down with that," Kendl added.
"Me too!" Cesar replied.
"Excellent!" Lisa said. "Now all we need are some food and beverages! Which is why I'm making Carl here the designated delivery boy."
"Hell yeah!" CJ said, standing proudly as Lisa picked up a pen and paper and started writing down a list.
Lisa handed him the list. "Here you go, Carl," she told him. "You know the drill."
"Thanks, Lees," CJ said as Lisa walked away. In a few seconds, CJ then realized exactly what he just agreed to. "Wait, what?!"
Before he knew it, CJ had gone outside to hop onto the parked Washington. He couldn't believe he was the one who had to pick up the food for the party. But he didn't complain. The Art of Automobiles was now open for business, and he was going to have a fun time with the others.
CJ drove the car on the road and through Downtown. The lights around the city glistened through the cold, nocturnal air. The cars' horns blared as they drove through the roads. It was a very smooth ride for CJ. All he wanted to do was to head to the supermarket to grab some food for the party at the garage. So he drove uphill and made a left turn on Juniper Hill, where he parked in front of the Supa Save supermarket. CJ grabbed the list Lisa gave him and hopped out.
As he entered the supermarket, he grabbed a shopping cart and looked at everything to buy on the list: chips, fruit punch, water, guacamole, nachos, muffins, sour cream, fruit salad, and crackers. Of course, CJ also bought some paper plates, paper cups, napkins, paper towels, aluminum foil, ice chest, and plastic utensils So CJ walked around the aisles in the market and grabbed the items listed on the sheet to place them in the bag. After a few minutes of shopping, CJ finally went to the checkout center and paid for the food.
CJ carried the bag of food as he walked out of the supermarket and to the car. But when he finally put the food inside the trunk of his vehicle, he overheard two guys inside a black Tahoma talking.
"Ah, what do you want to do, homie?" one of the guys asked his partner.
"I hear that this garage over at Doherty is opening up," his partner answered. "I say let's crash the place!"
"Yeah, I'm down with that!" the other guy agreed.
"Ah shit!" CJ shouted. "I can't let those motherfuckers ruin our business!"
So as CJ overheard this, he watched as the Tahoma sped away. This prompted CJ to hop inside his own vehicle and drive after the Tahoma. He had to keep the vehicle from getting to the garage. So as he finally caught up with the vehicle, he rammed it to the side.
"Hey, who the fuck is this asshole?!" the driver asked.
"I got this!" his partner told him.
He pulled out his tech nine and shot at CJ's vehicle. CJ swerved to his right to avoid the bullets. He knew that if the car got damaged, so would the food and food material, and he wasn't going to go back to the supermarket to buy any more. So CJ had no choice but to drive-by shoot at the vehicle. The two cars drove side-to-side through the city, and CJ and the passenger guy were exchanging bullets to each other.
By the time the cars drove Downtown, the opposing car later caught on fire, and CJ slowed down to watch the Tahoma ride a few inches ahead right before it finally exploded, killing the two drivers inside. CJ punched in Zero's number.
"Yes?" Zero answered through the phone.
"Yo Zee," CJ replied. "It's CJ"
"CJ," Zero answered. "Did you get everything on the list?"
"Yeah," CJ responded. "Just to let you know, our business here is gonna need some security – something that's as tight as a boa constrictor around a fool's neck that will keep any of those motherfuckers from destroying our property."
"No need to worry about that, CJ," Zero told him. "I already planned ahead on that, and I have just the right kind of security. Just drop over at my shop and I'll show you what you can use."
So CJ drove straight through Garcia road and parked in front of Zero's shop. He quickly hopped out and walked inside the shop to find Zero standing right behind the counter up front.
"Yo Zee," CJ said, "what you got for me?"
"Bam!" Zero blurted, showing CJ a small piece of technology. "It's a sniper cam. It looks harmless, but just watch what it does."
He placed in onto the counter and aimed for the wall. The sniper cam suddenly shot at the wall with a dangerous shot sound.
"This cam can detect any threat and will fire automatically at anyone who dares to sneak inside and destroy whatever work we put into that garage," Zero informed.
"Cool," CJ replied. "Good looking out, Zee."
"No problem," Zero said. "I'll come with you to place the cameras all over the garage."
So CJ grabbed about ten of them and he and Zero walked out of the shop. They hopped inside the vehicle and CJ drove off to the garage.
As he and Zero made it there, the whole garage was now completely opened for business. There was a large sign that said "The Art of Automobiles" on top, with the other sign that read "Grand Opening" on the left side. There were a lot of patrons taking their cars in to get all of them modified, as well as many of them at the counter drinking beer. The workers were sitting inside the garage at the table drinking wine.
"A toast to the grand opening of our successful business," Kendl said as she and the others held their wine glasses up high and started drinking. Just then, CJ arrived with all the food and kitchen material.
"Hey, Carl," Kendl said.
"Yo what up, CJ?" Cesar, Ryder, and LB all said together.
"I'm straight," CJ said as he set the stuff on the table on the side of the wall. "Got all the food right here."
"Excellent," Lisa answered, hopping off her seat and walking over to the table. She arranged the food and the other material around the table and spread them out to organize them all.
"Just to let you know," CJ said as Lisa finished setting up the table, "I went over to Zero's shop to get some security cameras so no one would try to break in."
"Let me guess, Carl," Lisa said. "Some random guys attempted to break into this garage to crash it, didn't they?"
"Damn!" CJ uttered. "How'd you know that?!"
"I have street smarts, Carl," Lisa replied. "My intuition always tells me any premonition that might come to bitch-slap us any moment!"
"You know," CJ said, blushing, "you really scare me sometimes, Lisa."
"Just stop tripping and enjoy the party, boy," Lisa told him. "I'm just glad you got everything here all in one piece."
So CJ decided to enjoy the rest of the party until around midnight, in which everyone was leaving and the garage was now closing.
"Carl," Kendl called to CJ. "Would you mind dropping Lisa back to her new crib? It's over at Calton Heights."
"Uh...sure," CJ replied, blushing. "Come on, Lees."
"Better buy that girl a tampon while you at it, CJ," Ryder told him. "You wouldn't want her to bleed out anger all over your good ride."
"Very funny, bro," Lisa replied. "By the way, I got something for that smart ass mouth of yours."
Lisa pulled out a small light bulb from her pocket. "Here," she told Ryder. "You'll need this to screw inside that busted-up ass head of yours, fool."
She tossed the bulb to Ryder, who caught it with his hands, and Lisa turned to walk away with her wide hips swaying back and forth. "Momma always reminded you to stay yo' ass out of the dark," Lisa sneered as she continued walking away. "That way, your mind would be much brighter."
The others laughed at her sassy retort. "She got you good, holmes," Cesar told Ryder.
"And this fool ain't even got a comeback over her either," Kendl laughed.
As everyone else closed the garage door, CJ guided Lisa to his vehicle and the two hopped in.
"So you really staying here in San Fierro?" CJ asked Lisa as he drove onto the road.
"Yep," Lisa replied. "After all, I am responsible for the new design on the garage, so it's no point going back to Pineland when I can just help design vehicles here in San Fierro."
"That's... great to hear," CJ said, sounding slightly nervous.
"Besides, I kind of miss seeing you guys after roughly a year after moving out of Los Santos," Lisa added. "So I figure that since I'm now living out here in San Fierro and we finished the job, we should have some quality time with each other."
"Really?" CJ asked, blushing once again, his voice sounding slightly dry. "Uh, sure. That'll be real nice."
"Consider it as an award for your diligence, Carl," Lisa replied. "You deserve so much after you worked your ass off helping me and the others. I really appreciate the man you grew up as."
"Gee, thanks, Lisa," CJ told her, blushing even harder. He was so nervous inside that he almost lost control of the steering wheel while driving.
Eventually, he parked in front of Lisa's new house in Calton Heights. As he and Lisa hopped out of the car, Lisa walked over to CJ and gave him a tight hug. CJ started blushing once again. He took a silent sniff of Lisa, who smelled like a sweet scent of strawberries around him.
"Thank you so much for dropping me off home, Carl," Lisa told him. "I had a great time tonight. You can come over to my place whenever you want to see me, okay?"
"Sure," CJ replied monotonously.
"Goodnight," Lisa told him as she walked to her house. CJ watched amorously as he started at Lisa's shapely rump as she walked to the door before finally stepping inside. CJ felt a stiff bulge in his pants from this and felt his heart thumping.
You don't have any romantic feelings for Lisa, he reminded himself. Snap out of it Carl!
He didn't wanted to give in and tried to keep his feelings from giving in. He just hopped back inside his vehicle and squealed away.
