The crowd with cheers of joy at the sight before their eyes as the audience clapped and shouted the Cra queen picked her daughter up, "I don't care if we're in public you're in no condition to be walking."
"It's fine mom." Elena said relaxing a bit. "I don't think I'm going to be able to keep my eyes open much longer."
"Then sleep and when you wake up your teammates will be by your side helping you hold up the trophy." The Cra queen reassured Elena.
"Okay Mama." Elena said before closing her eyes.
Yugo and the Cra queen carried their children out of the arena and to the healing wing where the one in charge looked at the rulers as if they did something wrong. When Fennora woke up Yugo explained what had happened with her fight.
"So I lost." Fennora said, gripping the sheets tightly.
"Yes you may have lost the fight but you made me and your mother so proud of you." Yugo said, hoping to make Fennora feel better. "You weren't given the greatest cards but in the end you used the cards you were dealt and came out on top. So in our eyes your a winner"
Fennora held her arms out and Yugo hugged his daughter as she cried tears of joy. The others soon joined them in the healing wing and congratulated Fennnora on gaining her powers.
"Got to say you never spot impressing me sis." Alleea said. "If I don't watch it you might just become stronger than me."
Fennora smiled knowing Alleea was secretly telling her she wasn't going to give up being the next queen yet. As the day went on people came to visit and left until only Alleea and Yugo remained in the room with her. The door to her room then opened revealing Elena and the Cra queen came in holding some flowers.
"Hey, I hope we're not interrupting something." the Cra queen said. "We just wanted to check in on the princess."
Fennora looked at Elena and saw that she had bandages around her head that covered her right eye and arms.
"Don't worry, the doctors said that I should be fine in a week or two." Elena explained. "Thou I have been ordered by the queen and mother that I'm not allowed to practice with a bow until the pain in my fingers is gone."
"I should make it so you don't leave my side for the month but you did a splendid job in the match so I'll be somewhat leanyit." The Cra queen.
"Thanks our majesty."
"Don't think you'll get away from your royal duties just cause you're injured." the Cra queen responded. "You have more offers for husbands than before and this time you are reading them and just throwing them into the trash."
"I'm not getting out of it this time am I" Elena said, putting the flowers they brought into an empty vase nearby.
"Nope." the Cra queen said.
"I think we both got off easy." Fennora said. "My dad is making me stay with my mother until I'm able to move my arm without seeming to be in pain."
"Guess so, speaking of which, how are your injuries?" Elena said. "You took the brunt of the attack. I'm amazed you aren't more injured.
"My dad got to us right before the attacks hit and forced most of the energy into the sky saving my life." Fennora explained. "Seems left leg is broken along with a few ribs, then there's the fact that my hands have some serious wakfu burns."
"Doctor and our father gave her a lecture about channeling wakfu without proper control." Alleea said "Now after all that they're letting us take her home in about three days so long as she comes back for a check up in a week."
"So have they had the award ceremony?" Fennora asked as her father brought her some food that didn't taste like hospital food.
"No, since the winning team was missing two members they postponed the award ceremony for tomorrow." Elena answered.
"Cool, maybe I can see it." Fennora said as Alleea looked towards their father.
"We'll see what the doctor says." Yugo answered. "Speaking of which, come on Alleea the doctor said she wasn't going to allow us to stay too long because it will make her more likely to convince us to take her home early."
"Okay, see you tomorrow Fennora." Allea said, hugging her sister.
"Later Alleea, thanks again for bringing me some books to read." Fennora said letting go of Alleea.
"Get some rest kid." Yugo said, kissing her on the forehead.
"I'll guess we'll take that as our queue to leave as well." The cra queen said.
"Got it." Elena said. "Hope to see you tomorrow Fennora."
"Maybe by then Flopin will be by your side." Fennora teased.
Elena pread that her mother didn't hear that, but when she looked at her mother she was smiling. Once Fennora was alone in the room she started to feel sleepy and used the remote to turn the light off and get some more sleep hoping she could see the award ceremony tomorrow with her friends.
The next day
As the sun shined down the winners of the tournament stud proudly on the podiums in the center of the arena.
"Congratulations Dinna for Winning the adults Division of the Rivals Tournament." Yugo said, placing a medal around Dinna's neck.
Dinna looked at the medal and smiled then whispered, "Thank you your highness and sorry again for what happened with your kids."
"It's all water under the bridge now." Yugo whispered back.
"Silver Arrow team congratulations on your victory, your familys should be proud of you." Yugo said as he played the awards around the kids' necks." Yugo said. A guard then brought out a trophy that looked like a silver chalice with thirteen different colored germs around the rim of the cup and the Eilartope symbol in blue on the front. "And it is with great honor that I the king of the Eilatrope's present the Cra Queen with the rivals tournament Trophy."
The Cra queen walked up to the Eialrtope king and said, "It was a close call and I'm proud of my team and what they have achieved." As the Cra queen took the trophy the Blue Eialtrope symbols changed into the Cra symbol while the blue was replaced with an emerald green.
"A FINAL ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR ALL THOSE THAT HAVE COMPLETED." Yugo shouted. THIS CONCLUDES THE RIVALS TOURNAMENT WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AT THE NEXT ONE!"
The crowd cheered for joy as the Cra queen handed the trophy to her daughter so that they could raise it high. As the cortiapets left the arena Elena saw Fennora in a wheelchair being pushed by Amalia.
"You made it." Elena said, walking up to them.
"Yep, it took some convincing on my part to get them to let me see the ceremony. Got to say you earned it." Fennora said, "But I'm telling now the next time I'm going to win."
"We'll see about that." Elena said.
"Are you going to stay for the party?" Fennora asked as the Cra queen came closer.
"Oh we'll be staying alright, I'm not missing a party in the Eilatrope kingdom." The Cra queen. "Who knows, maybe this time other rulers will beat your husband in drinking."
"Not likely." Amalia said. 'Yugo has a hell of a toleric. Anyway We'd better go. I need to help these two get changed, it may not be a royal party but they can't show up in the clothes they train in. It was nice to see you, Cra queen."
"Please Amalia call me Elizbeth." The Cra queen said.
"As you wish Elizabeth." Amalia said, turning the wheelchair around. Amalia took her daughters back to their rooms so that they could get change for the party to come. Once they were changed they made their way to the ball room as they entered they saw that the party was in full swing. Amalia gave Fennora to Alleea and told them to stay together and stay away from any Enutof's that seem a little tipsy.
Alleea soon found Elely & Flopin eating at a table and pushed Fennora towards them."
"Hey guys." Alleea said as they got closure.
"You guys made it." Elely said, looking up from her plate.
"Well the party is being held in our home so it's kind of hard to miss out on it." Fennora said. "Not like you could keep me away. So Flopin are you going to ask a princess to dance or what?"
"I'm not sure you should be dancing Fennora." Flopin quickly said knowing what Fennora meant.
Fennora gave Flopin a look that said it all, Flopin tried to get some support from Elely but she was looking at him the same way.
"Flopin this is maybe the last day before they leave for who knows ow long and there is no gairenty that you'll; see her again so just go find her and dance with Elena." Elleea said, taking a seat next to Fennora. "She'd be happy if you asked her, you know."
Giving in Flopin got up and went to look for a certain Cra princess that he hoped wasn't near the Cra queen. As the girls watched Flopin go find Elena a male Eilatrope asked Alleea for a dance, she was about to decline till Elely told her that she would stay with Fennora till she got back. Alleea walked away from the table with the boy smiling a little.
"Thanks." Fennnora said. "She's the only one that's been treating me like I'll die if no one's watching me. Even my Dad & Mom finally came to a compromise that I would have a tracking spell on till my leg heals."
"You can't blame them, they saw their daughter almost seriously injure herself." a voice said. Fennora turned around to see Mishell and smiled. "So how are you fair since you're in a wheelchair for the time being.
"Can't complain, it's a lot better than being in a hospital bed doing nothing." Fennora answered. "What's new with you?"
"Nothing much but I think my sister really wants a child of her own now more than ever." Mishell said, taking a seat next to Fennora.
"What makes you think that?" Fennora questioned.
Mishell snickered a little then said, "I saw her looking in on the nursery in the hospital."
Fennora couldn't help but laugh at her aunt. As the night went on some of the adults got drunk while others danced and made memories to remember.
"Hey mom can Mishell spend the night tonight please." Fennora asked with pleading eyes.
"What did her mother say?" Amalia asked, looking towards the Osamodas Queen who was talking to the Iop king.
"Oh she agreed." Fennora lied hoping her mother wouldn't ask anymore.
"No she didn't." Amalia explained. "And I know this because you didn't look me in the eyes, also I'm your mother. Now I will agree if her mother says yes. But lie to me again and you'll be spending the night in our room young lady."
Fennora looked down and said, "Yes ma'am." She walked over to the Osamodas Queen and asked her, "Miss Osamodas Queen, is it alright if your daughter could spend the night? My mother already agreed if it was okay with you."
"I have no problem with it." Angelica (Osamodas Queen) agreed.
"Thank you." Fennora said, walking away to tell her mother.
"Thanks mom." MIshell said hugging her mother.
"You're welcome, but before you go, is there something you want to tell me?" Angelica said, looking at Mishell.
"Nothing comes to mind." Mishell said wondering what her mother might be thinking.
"Never mind. You should go, it seems your friend is waiting for you." Angelica said, looking at the doors out of the ball room.
Misheel went over to Fennora and they left the party for her bedroom. Amalia then helped Yugo & Adamia get the remaining members of the council of twelve to their rooms so that they might sleep off their drinks. Once everyone was in their rooms and the other rulers had retired, Yugo checked in on Fennora while Amalia went to see how Alleea was doing.
Fennora's room
Yugo quietly opened the door to Fennora's room to see her and Mishell past out on the floor playing a game. Yugo picked them up and placed them in the bed and laid the covers over them, Yugo made sure that Fennora's leg was given proper supported. He picked up the game piece and placed it on Fennora's desk then turned the lamp off.
"Good night my little Eilatrope." Yugo said as he closed the door.
Alleea's room
Amalia opened the door to the bedroom ever so slightly to see her child sound asleep at her desk again. She then placed Alleea in her bed while removing her hat and replacing it with her nightcap. Amalia then closed her daughter's diary without reading a page and cut the light out.
"Sweet dreams Alleea." Amalia whispered leaving the room and closing the door behind her.
Yugo & Amalia bedroom
Amalia opens the door to her chambers to see Yugo looking through the photo album.
"Walking down memory lane." Amalia said, closing the door.
"Sorry I couldn't help myself," Yugo said, turning the page. "Things really have changed, hard to believe that when you and I first met I thought I'd inherit the inn from my dad now I'm a king of my people."
"And a father of two girls." Amalia said joining Yugo in bed.
"Ya with two more kids on the way." Yugo said, placing a hand on Amalia's belly.
Amalia saw a picture in the album and chuckled a little.
"What's so funny?" Yugo asked, looking at the picture.
Amalia then pointed to a picture of them and their friends at Adamai's & Echo's wedding, Amalia was wearing her royal dress with a few blue leaf's mixed in with Yugo standing next to her close to Adamai. While on Echo's side was Evangelyne wearing a red dress that went to her ankles with matching shoes, Percedal was wearing a white shirt for once and a black cape. The picture had turned out fine but after the shot was taken Ruel had shown up in his drill forgetting that Yugo could have made a portal for him, in the end Ruel had drilled right under the cake causing a massive cake to fly everywhere.
"Adamai didn't forgive him until you forcefully portaled the drill somewhere Ruel couldn't get it unless he paid a toll." Amalia said, holding back her laughter. "Even then Ad still demand an apology because he told Ruel to come with us instead of using the drill.
"True be told Ruel has been banned from driving the drill under ground unless he knows he not going to destroy something important." Yugo said closing the album. "Makes me glad I warned him that if he did that on the island it might seek."
"True." Amalia said, pulling the covers up.
Yugo then turned out the light and kissed Amalia goodnight then closed his eyes.
