Crystal sat on the bleachers watching as her crush Alison ran around the track. Alison was the top female distance runner on the track team. In fact she was even better than some of the boys on the team. Alison came to a stop in front of Crystal picked up her towel and wiped the sweat off her face. She smiled at Crystal as she picked up her bottle of water.

"So Crystal, how long have you been watching me?" asked Alison

"Since you started your run."

"Maybe we should go some where and talk. Give me fifteen minutes to go shower and we can head over to Big Belly Burger."

"Sure, um are we going to walk or do you have a car? My parents don't believe in giving my siblings or me a car. If we want our own car we have to get jobs and help pay for it."

"I don't have a car. But I do have a motorcycle. You ever been on one?"

"Yeah with my Uncle Ollie."

"Uncle Ollie?"

"Oliver Queen. He is like one of my dad's closest friends. So I have always called him Uncle Ollie."

"That is cool. See you in fifteen minutes."

"Yeah, fifteen minutes."

Crystal watched as Alison headed into the locker room to shower. She pulled out her phone and sent a text to Dani that she was going to Big Belly Burger with Alison. Dani replied with a thumbs up. Crystal really loved that her sister was so supportive of her. H.R. was too. But he just didn't get it like Dani. Crystal headed over to wait outside of the locker room. Alison came out right on time. Alison after her shower had spiked her very short hair that she had dyed purple. Though Crystal knew that Alison was a natural blond. Alison climbed on her motorcycle and handed Crystal a helmet. Then put on her own.

"You always have an extra helmet?" asked Crystal putting it on and climbing on behind Alison.

"Only when I am hoping that I will have a hot girl to ride with me."

Crystal blushed. If only Alison knew how ironic that statement was.

"You think I am hot?"

"Girl, you and Dani are the two hottest babes in this school. I just got you mixed up and hit on the wrong one."

"I am glad Dani set you right."

"You will want to hang on tight. Might be best if you hold me around my waist."

"Sure."

Crystal wrapped her arms around Alison her hand brushing under side of the other girl's breast. Alison smiled and took off. It didn't take long for them to arrive at Big Belly Burger. They walked in together ordered a couple of milkshakes and some fries. They then headed over to a table to talk.

"So Crystal, have you told your parents you are into girls?" asked Alison

"Yeah. They are like really cool about it. I mean they have friends that are gay. They also have a friend that is bisexual but leans more to women."

"That is nice. My parents aren't like that. They threw me out and I live with my Uncle. He is cool about it."

"It is good you have someone that accepts you."

"Yeah Uncle Steve is great. I came out to my parents when I was fourteen. They threw me out the next day."

"That really sucks."

"It is better than living with people that treat you like crap. So Crystal have you ever kissed a girl?"

"No. I mean I never liked anyone like that. Well until you."

"I kissed a couple of girls. But they were no one special."

Alison leaned over the table and started to kiss Crystal. Crystal was surprised at first but quickly returned it. She enjoyed how warm Alison's lips felt on hers. Alison pulled away and grinned.

"Damn girl for never kissing anyone you are pretty good at it. Though you should know that your lips are a little cold."

Crystal bit her lip. She was afraid that might be the case. Other than her family she had never given anyone a kiss. Her family even her parents friends knew that she was a cryogenic metahuman. So they knew she ran cold.

"Sorry. I knew my body temperature tends to run lower than normal. But I didn't think it was that cold."

"Never said I didn't like it. It is just different. Kind of made me think what it might be like to kiss Frost."

"You have a thing for Frost?"

"I think she is cool. No pun intended. Besides she has to be old enough to be my mom."

Crystal smiled thinking if she only knew. They spent the rest of the afternoon talking with Alison taking Crystal home. They agreed to go on a date on Friday after the track meet. Crystal walked into the house and went up to her room. There was a knock on the door a few minutes later. She opened the door to find her mom standing there.

"Hey mom."

"So is that the girl you like?" asked Caitlin

"Yeah. Her name is Alison Winters. She is on the track team."

"So when are you going out with her?"

"Um Friday after her track meet."

"Your dad and I are going to want to meet her."

"I told her. She is ok with it. She thinks it is cool that you and dad accept me the way I am. Her parents don't. They threw her out when she came out to them when she was fourteen. Her Uncle Steve took her in."

"Steve Winters works at CCPD with your dad. He is a detective if I remember right."

"That's right. Mom, I should tell you that she thinks Frost is the coolest."

"That is only because Ice hasn't made her debut yet."

"Thanks mom. Love you."

"Love you my sweet girl."

Caitlin hugged her daughter and then headed downstairs.
