After confirming that Zoro is not a man-eating monster to the owner, the crew decides to take a walk around town, looking to buy essentials like medicine, food and the like for their journey,
But after wandering around town for a while and getting nowhere,
"Well how about we get Usopp to show us around town?" Luffy suggests,
"True, he's a resident here, so he probably knows everything," Jaune agrees, "but he's busy with something, so I guess we'll have to wait to see him."
"Well, how are we going to find him?" Zoro points out,
"Emily? You know where Usopp went?" Luffy asks, catching her looking at something,
"Emily?" Luffy calls out,
Snapping to attention, she cries out, "I'm sorry! It won't happen again!"
"You know where Usopp is?" Luffy repeats his questions,
"Yes, I saw him head over to the mansion." She replies and points at the mansion that is resting on a hill,
"Ok then crew, off we go!" Luffy excitedly declares,
Before the crew can even take a step, someone suddenly shouts, "STOP RIGHT THERE!"
Turning around, the crew watches three little boys stumble out a bush,
Standing up straight, all three boys point their wooden swords at the crew,
"Do not move demons!" A boy with green hair screams, "This village is under captain Usopp's protection," A boy with glasses says meekly, "so all of you are to follow us."
"Yeah! We're taking you to captain Usopp." A boy with a purple hat says with confidence,
Before the kids can say anymore, Jaune politely asks them a simple question, "Excuse me, but who are you three?"
Without missing a beat, "My name is Piiman." The boy with green hair replies without fear in his voice,
"My name is Tamanegi." The boy with glasses replies timidly,
"The name's Ninjin." The boy with the purple hat says with gusto,
Hoping to put the children at ease, "Well it is nice meeting all of you," Jaune responds with a bright smile, "let me introduce you to my friend, the one with the straw hat is Luffy,"
"Yo" He greets them with a wave,
"Next, we have Emily, she's the one with orange hair,"
"Hello." She greets with a smile,
"Lastly, the meanie over there is Zoro."
He says nothing and just evilly smirks,
Preventing Zoro from scaring off the kids, Jaune hastily asks, "So you guys taking us to Usopp right?"
"Of course." Tamanegi replies in a matter of factly tone,
"Come on, stop talking and get walking!" Piiman commands,
Playing along, the crew let themselves be "captured" by the children,
Overjoyed by this, the children skip and hop their way to captain Usopp,
After a few minutes of boring walking, Jaune's eyes begin to wander,
His eyes wander to the green lush grassy ground, to the trees that stand tall over them, back down to the dirt road that twist and turn, to the bushes on the side of the dirt road, to Luffy the strange kind boy that saved him from a watery grave, to Zoro the man that saved his life from a mad man and like to scare children, to Emily the-
Not realizing that they have arrived, Jaune keeps on walking and bumps into Luffy,
"Sorry sorry." Uttering a quick apology to Luffy, Jaune takes a step back,
Looking up, he sees a huge old-fashioned mansion with a blue roof and fancy windows aligning the white-washed walls, on the right side of the mansion, there is a great tree that has grown even taller than the mansion itself, to deter people from intruding, there is a 3 metres metal fence surrounding the mansion,
"Oh wow, what a mansion." Jaune mutters,
Only to have Piiman chastises him, "Hush, we're waiting for captain Usopp."
"What? He owns this mansion?" Zoro asks, "didn't think he was this rich."
"Oh nah, this is Kaya's mansion." Ninjin explains, "Usopp is telling her stories right now."
"Stories? It's not even night yet." Luffy chimes in,
"Nah, Kaya doesn't leave her house that much, so captain just visits her every day to tell her stories." Ninjin clarifies,
Cutting straight to the point, "So anyway, where's Usopp?" Luffy asks the three boys,
"He's in the tree." Tamanegi replies,
Knowing where Usopp is, Luffy promptly stretches out both his arms to the top of the metal fence,
Grabbing it, "Ok crew, grab onto me." Luffy shouts,
Realizing what Luffy is about to do, Jaune, Zoro, Emily, and the three boys tries to hold Luffy down,
"Luffy please, you can't just enter people's houses." Jaune pleads,
"You're gonna cause a ruckus, the mansion's guards will find us." Emily states,
"You have to wait for captain Usopp!" Piiman orders,
But he ignores all of their warnings, and launches himself and everyone up into the air, right over the metal fence,
Landing with a thud right on their butts, the children groans, Jaune moans, Zoro grunts, and Emily shoots Luffy with a glare,
"Guys?! How did you get in here?" A voice in the great tree asks loudly,
Leaning out of a window for a better look, a skinny, pale-skinned girl cries out, "What was that? Usopp what was that noise?"
"Don't worry Kaya, they're my friends." Usopp says, which considerably calm the other person down, turning to Luffy, Usopp repeats his question, "What are you doing?"
Unfortunately, thanks to all the ruckus, a tall, slim man with round glasses and slicked black hair appear around the corner to check if everything is fine or not,
Clearing his throat loudly and catching everyone's attention,
"You need to leave immediately." He demands coldly,
