The fire soon turned into the shape of a couple of swans and they went back down to the ground. Eventually, Odette and Alise were shown as the flames scattered, showing the both of them alive and well fortunately enough. Everyone soon looked jaw-dropped and very impressed with what just happened.

"Odette... Alise..." Derek called gently once he saw his true love and adoptive daughter were both going to be okay now. "Is it really you?"

"Oh, Derek." Odette smiled warmly as he cradled her face.

"Odette... I'm so sorry," Derek smiled back softly as they then shared a hug. "I love you."

"I love you too." Odette smiled back.

Lucas was just about to leave in the rowboat, but was soon stopped by Patch as he grabbed him by his pant leg. "Please let me go; it's better that I leave." he then told the young Dalmatian.

"No, you helped, and you'll be happy here." Patch insisted with a muffle.

"No, I won't." Lucas shook his head.

"Besides, where will you go?" Tyke asked.

"Back to that island without people," Lucas replied. "I can just find enough fish and coconuts to survive on my own. I don't belong anywhere anyway."

"Come now, maybe you and your parents just had a misunderstanding," Cleo piped up. "Maybe you should just stay with Odette and Derek and maybe we can try to help you too."

"You're all very kind, but there's nothing more that I can do here and nothing will change my mind." Lucas said as he tried to stay strong, but he soon had tears in his eyes.

"But Lucas made things right by destroying The Forbidden Arts and the notes of the formula for The Forbidden Arts." Patch muffled.

"Yeah, plus by staying with Derek and Odette you would still have a friend to hang out with." Tyke smiled.

"Plus being on an island alone is not the best life choice for any child." Cleo told Lucas.

"I'm sorry, but since I got mixed up with Miss Zelda, it's best that I go while I still can," Lucas said lowly before he turned away and looked like he was ready to cry. "Besides, my parents didn't even want me... Nobody wants me... Who would want me?"

"I would." A familiar young voice suddenly said.

Lucas looked over a bit. "Alise?" he then asked.

"Lucas, I've never had real friends before until I met Atticus, Cherry, Mo, and Thor, also the animals like Jean-Bob, Puffin, and Speed," Alise said as she stepped over. "I was a bit of a lonely girl, especially when my father died in a fire until I was adopted and became a princess. You felt like a real friend to me and I'm sure that they feel the same way too."

Patch, Tyke, and Cleo nodded in agreement.

"You don't have to leave. You can stay with me and my new parents." Alise smiled.

"And like Cleo said maybe you and your parents just had a misunderstanding." Tyke said.

"You guys go home, I'll try to fend for myself." Lucas said, bowing his head out of guilt.

"Lucas... I would be honored if you stayed with us." Odette said softly with a small smile.

"You would?" Lucas asked softly as he looked back over.

"Yeah, we're stuck around here too," Mo said softly. "We can help each other out and get you settled for however long it takes."

"Even though it feels like we've been stuck here for 20 years." Cherry muttered thickly.

"Plus Rogers would miss you," Atticis said. "After all you're like the son he never had."

"Did he really say that about me?" Lucas asked.

"Yep, he sure did." Thor smiled.

"Though he was probably just saying that cuz of Zelda and losing her made him go crazy." Cherry rolled her eyes slightly.

Atticus nudged Cherry a little, but not in a way to hurt her.

"Well... I guess I could stay for a little... Even with what happened to my parents." Lucas said softly then.

"Of course you can," Thor nodded. "I'm sure Derek and Odette will work something out."

"Yeah." Mo nodded.

They soon left with Odette, Derek, and Alise as they went back to the castle.

"I can't believe we lost the book." Thor frowned.

"But I'm sure everything will be alright in the end." Tyke replied.

"Cheer up, guys. There's still Festival Days." Mo suggested.

"Yeah, but at what cost though?" Patch sighed. "What cost?"

Thor soon followed the others over before he saw a certain book and picked it up. "Hmm... I'd look through this to see if it's the real storybook or not, but I should probably ask... It couldn't hurt." he then said to himself.

They soon continued to leave to head back to the castle to get ready for Festival Days with the villagers in the kingdom.

Walt was shown to be standing by the window, looking out to see the others coming back, then rushed back into his guest room so that he could look busy.

"How are we going to explain to Walt that we lost the book?" Mo asked.

"We'll have to be delicate." Patch replied.

"Yeah. After all, it was important to him just as it is to us since it had a lot of adventures in it similar to our own somehow." Atticus said.

"Not it." Cherry suddenly said.

The others gave Cherry a look.

"What?" Cherry shrugged in defense.

"Come on, Cherry. Be nice." Mo told the perky goth.

"I am," Cherry retorted. "I'm being nice to myself."

Mo narrowed her eyes with a low and firm hum.

"Children?" Walt asked as he came downstairs. "Oh, I was so worried about you all. You were gone for a very long time." he then said, sounding a bit fatherly.

"Um, Walt, there's something we have to tell you." Patch frowned.

"What's wrong?" Walt asked.

"Um, it's about your book." Atticus frowned.

"What about my book?" Walt asked.

"We... I think... Uh... We sorta lost it..." Atticus explained.

"What?! Are you sure?" Walt asked as he looked over in concern.

The group looked at each other before bowing their heads.

"No..." Walt frowned. "I need that book... It's very important."

"Can't you just buy another one?" Cherry suggested with a nervous shrug and sheepish smile.

"That book was no ordinary book..." Walt replied. "It was more than just stories and adventures."

"But I think I have a solution." Thor spoke up as he stepped over with his hands behind his back.

"You do?" Mo asked.

"Yep." Thor nodded.

"And what might that solution be?" Tyke asked.

Thor soon smiled as he showed them the book.

"What?! But how?" Patch asked.

"I dunno, it was just on the ground before we left Zelda's lair." Thor replied.

Walt soon took the book and flipped through it.

"I wasn't sure if it was yours or not, but I didn't wanna snoop inside in case I saw something I wasn't supposed to see." Thor then told Walt.

Walt continued to look before he suddenly smiled. "This is it!" he then said. "I just... Oh, thank you! Thank you so much."

Thor then grinned, looking very proud of himself.

"I'll keep this closer to me and definitely make sure that a certain cricket friend of mine doesn't get any ideas with the pages again." Walt then said as he smiled warmly at the adventure group with deep gratitude.

"Thor, you did it!" Mo smiled.

"Hmm... But I wonder how Jackson dropped it without him knowing?" Patch asked.

"Who cares? The important thing is that the book is safe." Tyke smiled.

"Well, you're welcome, Mr. Walt." Patch then said.

"Thank you so very much." Walt nodded.

"Will we ever see you again?" Mo wondered.

"Only time shall tell," Walt said mysteriously. "Only time shall tell~"

"Uh, yeah, I guess so." Atticus said.

"Well, we had best get some sleep," Walt suggested. "The Festival Days are tomorrow."

"He's right." Tyke said.

"Yes, you should," Walt nodded. "You've all had a very long day."

Thor let out a rather big and noisy yawn before he slouched over slightly. "You have no idea..." he then agreed sleepily.

"Good night, sweet dreams..." Walt nodded. "You all deserve some rest."

The group agreed heavily before they went to go to their respective rooms in the castle they were given ever since they first started this adventure and met Derek and Odette.

"Gee, Cherry, what do you think you'll put in your scrapbook when we get back after this trip?" Mo asked the perky goth.

"That's a very good question," Cherry shrugged as Walt smirked after they had left for bed. "Maybe a family photo of Derek, Odette, and Alise."

"Ooh." Mo smiled.

"Of course, we'll have to wait and see when we get home." Cherry replied.

"Right. Right." Mo nodded.

Soon, everybody went to their rooms and went straight to sleep after a very long and adventurous day, especially compared to going up against Rothbart and Clavius before they tangled with Zelda and not to mention the help that included Jackson and Vicky working for them to take down the adventure group, but would always be doomed to fail. They all dreamt about safely being back home so they can go back to their normal, well, mostly normal lives and probably and hopefully take a break from adventures for a little while since their adventures with Derek and Odette were quite a lot to handle.

Cherry soon had a dream that was unlike any other dream as she began to feel confused as she found herself in a dark room. "Luna? Can I not work tonight?" she then called out to The Equestrian Princess of the Night. "I had a very long day and I'm just looking forward to sleeping without any problems until after we get back to Greendale. Besides, I thought you and Celestia were taking a break from princess duties."

There was no answer, however.

"Luna...?" Cherry called before there was a light in the room and she suddenly ended up in what looked like the bedroom of a small child. "Whose room is this? I don't recognize it at all." she then said before looking around, then saw a brown-haired child in the bed who looked sort of familiar and unfamiliar at the same time along with a young boy with black hair who was in a sleeping bag beside the girl's bed. "Who are they?"

Soon, the two kids heard something and looked at each other as Cherry stepped away, thinking they were about to be found.

"Wilbur, did you hear that?" The brown-haired girl asked the boy next to her.

"I did... What's going on?" The black-haired boy replied before turning on the light and looking around the room.

"Let's play a game! Try to find me!" A new voice spoke up after the lights came on.

"Something really weird is going on around here and I'm not sure what it is," Cherry said as she looked around in confusion. "Hmm... I wonder if I should tell the others or not?" she then wondered about leaving this dream for now and coming back to find her friends or not, but wouldn't wake them up of course in The Waking Realm.

Cleo continued to sleep until she felt her human waking up.

"I wonder what that dream was about?" Cherry wondered after she had woken up. "Something tells me it'll be a future adventure, possibly."

"Hmm...? What's going on?" Cleo yawned.

"Oh, Cleo, I'm sorry, did I wake you up?" Cherry asked her kitten out of concern.

"Yeah, you kinda did..." Cleo yawned and stretched. "So what's happening?"

"I had a pretty interesting and crazy dream that I don't fully understand." Cherry said as she held her head.

"Maybe you were dreaming about being back in Bloomsbury?" Cleo suggested. "Didn't you end up falling in love with-"

"Ah, bup-bup! That was the past!" Cherry interrupted as she covered her kitten's muzzle before blushing. "We don't talk about that anymore."

"I thought we don't talk about Bruno?" Cleo replied.

"Very funny," Cherry rolled her eyes slightly. "Anyway, I think I better go and see the others and maybe when we get back home, I'll talk to Drell about what I saw after Festival Days ends."

"Alright, I might as well go with you; I don't think I'll get back to sleep." Cleo said.

Cherry and Cleo both soon went to see the others.

Of course, each one was still sleeping before Cherry and Cleo woke each of them up. Cherry winced and grinned sheepishly as she waited out in the corridor with Cleo.

The others yawned before looking a little grumpy that they were woken up suddenly.

"Sorry to bother you guys." Cherry said bashfully.

"You better be because while I'm very pleasant and sweet to be around in the daytime I'm rather not when woken up suddenly and I tend to give people the most unpleasant pillow fights of their lives," Thor narrowed his eyes as he cocked his pillow like a shotgun. "You better start talking."

"Well, that's a bit terrifying..." Cherry blinked before she shook her head. "Anyway, I saw the most interesting thing in The Dream Realm. I don't really know what it could mean or what it'll probably do, but I swear, you had to see it to believe it."

"Well, what was it?" Atticus asked.

"Yeah, it must have been really interesting that it woke you up the way it did." Patch replied.

"Well, at first I thought maybe Princess Luna was around, but she didn't answer me when I called out to her, but then I saw a door that lead somewhere and I ended up in a room that I haven't seen before, someone's bedroom." Cherry began to describe.

"Whose room was it?" Tyke asked with a yawn.

"I'm not sure... I saw this girl with brown hair and some boy with black hair who was in a sleeping bag while the girl was in the bed in the room." Cherry continued to explain.

"she didn't reply back to me when I called out to her and then I saw this door leading to someone's dream and when I went in I saw a bedroom of a child." Cherry said.

"Those two must've been having a sleepover," Thor said. "What else?"

"There was another voice which I feel like I've heard before, but I can't think of from where, but he was apparently hiding in the dark and the two kids were about to explore and look for the voice." Cherry then explained.

"So you think we could watch and see what's going on?" Atticus guessed.

"I dunno..." Cherry shrugged. "I don't think we can interfere with what I saw, but it's a very curious and mysterious case," she then hid a smirk at Atticus. "Though, I think one of you would find that to be very interesting enough to dig up."

"Haha, very funny," Atticus smirked back. "But it does sound like a good mystery to solve."

"We should probably try to get some sleep for tomorrow." Thor said.

"Right, we don't wanna be too tired." Tyke smiled.

"So you guys are gonna sleep this off instead?" Cherry asked.

"Write down what you see as soon as you wake up, then when we go to Festival Days, we'll probably go back home after that, and we can have a word with Drell," Atticus suggested. "We all had a VERY long day today."

"Well... All right," Cherry sighed before nodding. "Back to bed, we go."

The others nodded in agreement as they yawned, heading right back over to their rooms and beds for the night.

"All right... Just write down what I saw... Shouldn't be too hard," Cherry said on the way back to her bed. "I have probably the best memory when it comes to dreams."

"You usually do, yeah," Cleo nodded on the way back to bed. "I usually have dreams about Salem~"

"He's a 500-year-old warlock who was cursed to be a cat and you are a kitten." Cherry reminded.

"I can dream, can't I?" Cleo defended with a smirk.

Cherry rolled her eyes before she laid back down with a yawn. "Oh, brother... Good night, Cleo." she then said before going under her covers to go back to sleep for the rest of the night.

"Good night, Cherry." Cleo said with a yawn before going to sleep.

'Okay, I just have to write down what I saw. This'll be a piece of cake.' Cherry thought to herself.

Soon, everybody fell asleep again as Cherry drifted off to sleep. Once asleep, Cherry sat up in a blank void before she nodded at herself and soon walked off to go into the room she was in before with the kids she didn't know and their upcoming adventure until she would wake up for Festival Days with her friends.

The next morning soon came for everyone as they went to have a quick breakfast together before they would go out for the day.

"Ooh. I'm so excited." Tyke smiled.

"Yep. The Festival Days will be so much fun." Thor smiled back.

"I can't wait to see who wins the obstacle course." Patch replied.

"Pretty sure Jean-Bob will try to rig the race or something like that." Thor hinted.

"What does that mean?" Tyke asked.

"He'll try to cheat just so he can be Prince for a Day." Mo explained.

"Oh... Okay..." Tyke nodded. "I knew that, I just wanted to see if you knew."

"Sure you did." Mo smirked playfully before patting the bulldog pup on the head a little.

"Well, it's getting late," Thor said before checking on the time. "Should we wait for Cherry?"

"That's very complicated to answer." Atticus replied as he knew how Cherry could get in the morning if she was woken up before she wanted to wake up.

"You don't think Patch will wake her up, do you?" Mo asked.

"With how she kinda woke us up in the middle of the night, um-" Thor replied.

They soon heard Patch's barking from Cherry's room. Suddenly there was a loud thump and crash heard.

"Didn't hurt!" Patch's voice replied after those sounds.

"Don't care! Shuddap!" Cherry's voice retorted.

The others looked at each other before they ran into Cherry's room to see that Patch had been thrown into a bookshelf and they both hit the wall, making a rather big crack in the wall while Cherry was lying in her bed in annoyance and frustration.

"...He started it." Cherry said once she looked over to see the others who were standing outside her doorway suddenly to see what had happened.

"I had to get them up somehow." Patch said.

"I'm gonna claw his face off." Cleo glared.

"You wouldn't dare." Patch glared.

"Wanna make that a promise or a threat, Spot?" Cleo warned as she bore her claws just as a warning.

Patch blinked before deciding to stay quiet.

"Sorry about that, Cherry," Atticus said. "Were you able to get everything down?"

"I don't know about every single thing, but I did see some new things that definitely looked familiar this time." Cherry nodded as she showed her notebook with filled pages.

"Awesome." Atticus smiled.

"We'll have to read them later; we have to get ready for Festival Days, especially with two of us in the obstacle course along with Jean-Bob." Tyke said.

"He's right." Mo replied.

"Well, all right then," Cherry said as she looked at her notebook. "Hopefully Icky Vicky and Devil Boy don't come back again with yet another evil plan against another evil force of nature that knew Rothbart or whatever."

"Hopefully this was the last of that for a while," Patch replied. "I miss Collette, The Buddies, and The Pound Puppies."

"And I really miss Gloriosa and Timber." Mo added.

"Heck, I even miss my little sister," Thor admitted. "Though she's probably playing with her Sky Dancer dolls."

"So let's go outside and have fun and hopefully that's the end of these adventures with Derek and Odette for a while." Atticus then said.

"Right behind ya, guys," Cherry said as she put her notebook in a bag given to her for now. "I guess we could use a break after being here for a long while."

"You better believe it." Mo said.

They all soon went outside after getting ready and were ready to have fun at The Festival Days celebration.
