Hakuba was very attentative, even in his bound and silenced state. Whoever kidnapped him, they were taller and stronger than the teen obviously. He saw the van door opening, but before he could get a really good look at who his kidnappers were, a dark cloth bag was placed over his head, and tied slightly still to stay there. The noose was taken off after that. Then Hakuba was lifted over the man's shoulder, as if he were a sack of potatoes and the kidnapper were a farmer. Hakuba was listening to everything. He heard the chilly breeze, leaves crunching under this a-hole's feet as he walked, even the sound of a distant bell from a shrine. That guy's partner was walking behind as to monitor the bound Hakuba as they moved him to the location he was going to be staying in temporarily.
Kaito was very worried. Not worried but worried. He laid in his bed, staring at the tiny paper note, still having not read it.
"Hakuba, you idiot. You got kidnapped." Kaito could just tell without opening the letter. He laughed slightly, but he couldn't tell how bad his situation was. "I call... you are going to be in big trouble."
The building was musty smelling, but Hakuba was paying attention to the directions. Straight, left, door, right, door, staircase down. The basement. Great. Hakuba knew that he would need serious skills to get out of whatever they had planned for him. Kuroba-kun, you might have your skills in lockpicking challenged. As Hakuba was in thought, the men put him onto the floor on his feet, and proceeded to unlock the handcuffs just for his minor struggles to be shut down with both men holding either wrist and holding them up to lock his wrists into some heavy shackles that were welded to the wall, keeping his hands up.
"Mmhn!" He groaned but stopped by a punch to his stomach. His ankles were also unlocked from their current restraint and locked to the wall separated, 6 inches apart. After he was secured, he heard the shutter of his phone's camera. He heard the steps of those two moving away, followed soon by a clang of a metal cell door, and finally the steps going up the stairs before the door to the basement shutting loudly and locking.
Ping! Hakuba's phone just texted Kaito, only it wasn't Hakuba. With widened eyes, Kaito was staring at 2 images, one of Hakuba locked to the wall, and another of a note saying, "Kaitou KID, if you want him returned alive, then at 23:00 Friday, deliver 50 million yen on the rooftop." The coordinates lead to an abandoned building that was condemned decades ago.
"Hakuba, you really got into something bad... OH NO that's my planned heist day!" Kaito was in a very tight spot. Shit.
