A/N: I apologize for the short chapter. Haven't been feeling good to be honest, but expect more updates soon.
Back at the Stark Mansion, Tony, Kim, and Ron were watching the news reports on Gulmira with sadness and anger. Tony was busy working on his arm repulsor, as Kim almost cried at the sight of the refugees being displaced because of the Ten Rings' violent actions. Ron held Kim's hand, assuring her that everything would be OK. The teen hero appreciated the sweet gesture from her best friend, but she still couldn't keep her eyes away from the TV. That little town was Yinsen's home, and now it was on the verge of being destroyed. Kim let a silent tear fall from her eye, as she knew if it wasn't for Yinsen...
"The 15 mile hike to the outskirts of Gulmira can only be described as a descent into hell, into a modern day Heart of Darkness." the TV news reporter explained as she stood by the refugees who were trying to leave. Kim gulped at that while Tony continued to tinker with the repulsor. "Simple farmers and herders from peaceful villages have been driven from their homes, displaced from their lands by warlords emboldened by a new-found power." The scenes of the Ten Rings made Tony's blood boil as she twisted the screwdriver more tightly, still seething. Kim also felt her blood began to boil too, but not at the same extent as Tony.
"Villagers have been forced to take shelter in whatever crude dwellings in the ruins of old villages or here remnants of an old Soviet smelting plant." The TV cut to the scenes of violence incited by the Ten Rings, causing Tony to make a fist with arm repulsor, now feeling more rageful. "Recent violence has been attributed to a group of foreign fighters referred to by locals known only as The Ten Rings." Tony and Kim seethed together when they spotted Raza, with his face still disfigured from when Kim dropped a rock on his head. And Kim knew that if Raza was there, Shego was there as well. "As you can see, these men are heavily armed and on a mission. A mission that could prove fatal to anyone who stands in their way."
Just then, the Kimmunicator rang and Kim answered it. "Sitch me, Wade." Kim said with urgency.
"The US military has condemned what's happened, but they can't go in because the Ten Rings will shoot any innocent civilians if there's military action." Wade grimly reported. Kim sighed sadly, feeling so sorry for the refugees.
"They're all gonna suffer, and no one cares?" Ron asked with sadness. Kim's sad expression then turned into a determined one with a smirk on her face.
"No. Because we care. And we're gonna save Gulmira and those people! It's what we do!" Kim smiled, with Ron smiling back, knowing Kim found her spark once again.
"That's the KP I know!" Ron smiled, with Rufus smiling in agreement.
"Uh huh." Rufus chittered.
"Alright, Tony, you ready to fly?" Kim asked Tony as he got up, still seething with rage over the images on the news. Kim turned concerned for her new friend. "Are you OK?" Tony then brandished his flight stablizer and fired the repulsors at the windows to his workshop in the room, causing Kim and Ron to duck as Tony took out his rage on glass, making sure not to hit his two new friends.
"OK, dude, not saying that wasn't cool, but you could have hurt us!" Ron exclaimed. Tony remained silent as he knew in order to stop the wronging he'd done with weapons manufacturing, he had to protect the people he put in harm's way.
"Are you OK, now?" Kim asked timidly. Tony simply nodded.
"Let's fly." Tony said with determination.
Kim and Ron then suit up in their mission suits and jetpacks with confident smirks. Tony then suits up in the newly completed Mark III, ready to help Gulmira. With that, the two then took off into the skies, on their way to Gulmira, to stop the Ten Rings and help the refugees.
Over the skies of the Middle East, Ron gulped to himself while following close behind Kim. "I don't know about this, KP. The last time we went to the Middle East, you and Tony got captured. How do you know it won't happen again, or worse, if we'll get shot?" Ron asked with fear in his voice.
Kim just kept her confident smirk. "Don't worry. It won't happen." she said as they got closer to Gulmira.
Inside the war torn town, Jericho Missiles continued to rain down on the mountains, and insurgents continued to raid homes and shoot any people who wouldn't comply with their rule. It was total genocide. Families, children, and old people were running for their lives, utterly terrified of what was happening to their peaceful town, and completely helpless as they knew they were not powerful to stop them.
"Hurry it up! Put the woman in the trucks!" The portly Ten Rings member shouted. "Stack the weapons there! Clear all the houses!"
A father was trying to safely guide his family away from the violence, keeping a tight hold on them when an insurgent knocked him down and grabbed him. "Grab that dog! Put him with the others!" the portly man shouted, wanting to line him up with the men who were selected to be killed. His wife screamed for him, begging to let him live.
"Pappa! Pappa!" the young boy, his son, shouted, running up towards him to protect his father. The father held him close before the portly man simply threw the young boy aside. "What the hell is this?!" He then repeatedly kicked the father while his family all watched and screamed with terror, not wanting him to die. "Shoot this dog! You're all incompetent!"
A gunman then prepared to kill the father while his son and the rest of their family helplessly watches. Clearly this was worse than hell. And no one could save them. "Turn your head!" the gunman shouted.
"Pappa! Pappa! PAPPA!" the young boy screamed with terror when suddenly the sounds of rumbling filled the town. The townspeople looked up, hoping to see a US fighter jet to save them. But landing at their feet were Kim, Ron, and Tony. Of course, no one recognized Tony because of the iron mask.
"Remember me?" Kim smirked as the portly man gasped at seeing Kim Possible again, and was more terrified of the man in iron standing in front of him. The gunmen then tried to take a shot at Tony, but then he knocked one of them away. Kim then stood toe to toe with at least four men, wielding their weapons. "Ready for round two?" With that, Kim used her king fu skills and knocked the four guns away before they got a chance to even shoot her. Kim then simply kicked then, one by one, knocking them down. "It's good to be back in the game."
Tony then used his flight stabilizers to knock away any gunmen who tried to shoot him. Kim also used her laser lipstick to destabilize one as well. But then as they turned around, five more gunmen held families, mothers, children, babies, and elderly people hostage, warning in Arabic that if they tried one more thing, they'll shoot them. Not wanting more bloodshed, Kim gulped as she and Tony put their weapons down. "OK, I think we're done for." Ron gulped.
"Not for long." Kim smirked as Tony had JARVIS identify who was a civilian and who was a hostile. After correctly identifying each, Tony then shot down the hostiles, leaving the civilians unharmed, much to Ron's amazement as his mouth hung open. "Targeting system. My personal touch." She then turned her attention to the refugees. "Is everybody alright?"
Despite knowing little to no English, they understood Kim and nodded. "Pappa! Pappa!" the little boy screamed with happiness as he rushed over to his father and the two tightly embraced each other in relief. The boy then looked up at Kim and muttered, "Thank you."
Kim smiled at that. "No big." Kim said with a blush. She, Ron, and Tony then walked over to the building where the portly man was hiding. Right as he was about to use a satellite phone to call for back up, Kim snatched it away using her hairdryer grappling hook and glared at him with Ron by her side. "Alright, one question: where's Shego?"
The portly man shook with terror as he replied, "I don't know!"
Kim and Ron looked at each other and smirked. "Tony?" she asked. Suddenly, Tony's arm came through the wall, grabbed ahold of the portly man, and dragged him out to the crowd of refugees he just terrified and threatened, along with his comrades all tied up, with some help from Rufus who smiled proudly at his handiwork before climbing back into Ron's pocket.
"They're all yours." Tony smirked under his helmet as he, Kim, and Ron took off, leaving the terrorists at the hands of the refugees. They all gulped, hoping they could have mercy on them, but the refugees were pretty pissed off.
Over the skies, Kim reached for her Kimmunicator. "Wade, did you find the weapons?" she asked.
"Yep, just a few miles north of you." Wade informed with a smile.
"OK! On my cue, we'll destroy them." Tony informed as Kim and Ron secured the grenades on their belts, ready to drop them. But suddenly, Tony was knocked out of the sky and crashed down onto the dirt below. Luckily, he got up and saw that the cause was a tank, clearly owned by the Ten Rings. The tank then fired another shell, but it missed. Clearly pissed off, Tony fired one back, then turned around and walked away as the tank exploded like a action movie stunt spectacular.
"Tony, you alright?" Kim asked through comms, sounding worried.
"Never better." Tony smirked under his helmet, allowing Kim to breathe a sigh of relief as Kim and Ron settled over the weapons as the remaining terrorists focused their attention on him and tried to shoot him. "Ready when you are!"
Kim nodded, then she and Ron released their grenades and dropped them over the missiles and other weapons, destroying them and knocking the terrorists off their feet. "Bombs away!" Ron smiled. "I always wanted to say that!" Ron and Rufus laughed over that while Kim smiled and rolled her eyes playfully.
"Great job, guys." Tony smiled under his helmet, satisfied with their mission.
"No big. Now let's go home." Kim smirked as Tony began to take off, and he, Kim, and Ron began their flight back to California. Kim smiled to herself, happy that she was able to save Yinsen's town, feeling like she and Tony had avenged their friend.
