Craft 16: The Cliff Face battle Pt 3
We are Artoria
Me and Yagyu both swing our blades at the Zashi who counters, swings all 4 blades at us. We clash our blades against each other, Yagyu and I trying to hold our footing against the Cast Grimm. The Zashi steps back bringing the blades above his head, swinging back down at us, we raise our blade and enter a blade lock. The Zashi presses it's weight down on us, the two of us push back against the weight of the 4 blades pressing down on us.
Yagyu:(pressing back) Arthur, can you take front? That shield will need to take this guy's arms.
Arthur:(nods) Ri-Right! Push back on 3, 2, 1,(pushes) Now!
We both push back the blades as I step in front of Yagyu and shield bash the Zashi and follow after it, keeping my shield up, I block the Zashi's counter swings. The Zashi steps back and swings from all sides. Putting my shield out to the left with my blade to the right, I hold back all 4 blades. "Yagyu, go for it!" I shout, Yagyu jumps over my shoulder, swinging and slicing off one of the left arms. The Zashi roars using one of its right arms to knock Yagyu away. Damn! I push the blades off me before slicing off the main right arm then lunging forwards to dodge a counter attack by the Zashi.
Arthur:(rolls onto feet) Ah.(turns around) Yagyu! Are you-?
Yagyu:(standing up) Rrhhh. Alright, You're pissing me off!(redies sheath) Let's see how you like when I saw your body IN HALF!
Arthur:(sweatdrop) …
Side stepping to the right, the Zashi glances at me before turning to Yagyu who revs her Chainsaw, with it's high speed chain roaring like a beast. Even the Zashi takes a fearful step back as Yagyu's helmet changes to that of a demon. "JUST DIE!~" Yagyu screams charging in and jumping right at the Zashi, the Cast Grimm counters by putting both of it's blades above it's head to block only for the chainsaw to tear right through the blades and slice straight down the Zashi's body. The creature goes limp for a moment, when dark growth begins to grow pulling the creature back together. "Argh! Just DIE!" Yagyu screams, going back in to cut the monster in half again, only for the growths to produce dark tentacles that attack Yagyu, pushing her back. I run around to get behind Yagyu, putting away my blade and shield, I right straight at Yagyu.
Arthur:(running) Yagyu! Make way! I can finish it off!
Yagyu:(cuts dark tentacles) Tch! Fine! Kill the Bastard!
Arthur:(nods) Right!(looks down at belt) He finished the last Cast Grimm like this if I remember.
I reach down to my belt and bring down the blade. "Blade Fall!" Jumping up into the air, then entering a kick I fly straight into the Zashi my impact sends something though the Cast Grimm as it's body begins beaming light from within its body, light pours out of the eyes, mouth, and cuts across the body. I land back on the ground as the Zashi explodes in front of me, and it finally goes limb. Yagyu walks up to me, still clearly holding some internal anger.
Yagyu:(looks at Grimm) Why the hell isn't it disintegrating?
Arthur:(Crosses arms) Forge removed a Mold from them, remember? You have-
Yagyu:(revs chainsaw) Tear it out, got it…
Arthur:(looks at Yagyu) Yes, so let's not use th-(Yagyu saws into the Cast Grimm) Cain… Saw...
Black goop covers me and Yagyu as it's sprayed out from its body. Yagyu pulls something from the body and turns to me holding out a mold covered in black goop. "... Are you happy with that?" I ask, pointing at the mold, looking at Yagyu who's now dripping with black goop. "I'll be honest… I'd be happier if I didn't need to clean this so... Not so much." She said clenching the mold.
We are Shahryar
Me and Leo run from the Stalker, we keep our distance from each other. "Hey! You noticed something?!" Leonidas asks me while we are running. "What?" I ask, glancing back at the triple barreled Ravage Stalker. "That Stalker really seems to only be able to shoot at one of us at a time!" Leo points out, I jump to the side to dodge an incoming round. Yeah… He's right…
Shahryar:(looks at Leo) That mouth gun also seems to only be able to shoot when he's standing still!
Leonidas:(reloading rifle) Okay, I'll distract it then you cut it's arm off.
Shahryar:(stops running) Naw, I got this my Semblance has a better use for that kind of Role! 1000 Nights, 1000 Illusions.
Creating copies of myself, I send them around to distract the Striker, I move too get around the Striker while making more copies. Leonidas stops and turns the other way from me and gets around back of the Stalker. Taking out my shotguns I fire on the Stalker keeping it's focus solely on me. Leonidas changes his Rifle into it's lance mode, the shield proturdues a blade across the edge. Leo spins throwing the shield as flames blast out of the ports making it fly right into the right shoulder of the Stalker, the shield spins at high speeds cutting the arm right off. Leo follows this by throwing his spear while shooting it at the same time, it flies right into one of the left legs, causing the Stalker to fall down on its knees.
Leo:(catches shield) Shahryar! Now is your chance!
Shahryar:(holsters guns) Well! I'm honored,(looks at Grimm) so be a dear and die here!
Bringing my hand down to my belt and bringing down the handle. "Shatter Fall!" My belt exclaims as I twist my feet before jumping up, as I spin sand whirls around me into a small storm. The Staker is only able to glance at me as I slam into its chest, it roars as it's body begins to crack then shatters. I drop to the ground landing behind the Cast Grimm, something gimmers from within the shattered pieces. "Hmm? What's this?" I ask walking over to the shimmering object.
Shahryar:(Keels down) Let's see what you are, Hmm!-(pulls object out) Ah, there we go- Hey isn't this Mold one of the ones that the Hooded Guy used?
Leo:(picking up Spear) Really? Let me see?(observes Mold) Yes, I believe this is… Best to pocket it for now, let's meet up with the others.
Shahryar:(nods) You got it.
We are Hooded man
I watch from a distance as Jaune, Nora, Pyrrah, and Ren finish off the Death Stalker by nailing it's own Stinger into it's head. "Hey! Good job!" Forge said slowly walking off, before seeing Ren collapse. "H-Hey! Are you- Huh?" Forge said looking up, as the Nevermore flies above. Yang from atop a pillar jumps into the beak of the creature as it tries to eat her. "I, Hope, You're, Hun, Gry!" Yang shouts, firing her shotgauntlet into the Nevermore's mouth. Yang observes the ground behind her, as she backflips off the Nevermore and onto the bridge connecting to the cliff. The Nevermore crashes into the cliff and falls atop the entrance to the cliff, as the other 4 Riders stand just below it, the Nevermore screeches beginning to fly back up into the air.
Hooded Man: The Casts are dead,(looks over) those 4 dealt with the Death Stalker,(turns) how will these 4 handle the Nevermore?
Yang runs back towards Ruby and Blake, Weiss runs straight towards Nevermore. The two pass each other exchanging a knowing glance at each other. Weiss jumps into the air and thrusts her rapier into the ground creating ice pillars that catch the Nermore's tail keeping it in position. So they have trapped it. Now what? Weiss pulls back, while Blake launches her weapon across to a pillar just across from her, the weapon is caught by Yang. Blake and Yang drop down the pillar and stretch the band on the blade across the two pillars. Are they? Ruby fires her weapon launching her right onto the center of the black ribbon, stretching it while Weiss creates a Semblance circle, the circle turns from bright white to dark black, catching Ruby and holding her in place.
Hooded Man:(stands up) Ha Ha!(Clapping) A Slingshot! A Slingshot! But will it work?
Weiss:(aims) Of course you would come up with this idea.
Ruby:(looks ahead) Think you can make the shot?
Weiss:(smiles) Hmm! Can I?
Ruby:(raises eyebrow) Wait can you-?
Weiss:(looks at Ruby) -Of course I can!
Ruby chambers the next round into her weapon, whilst Weiss turns the circle red, firing the Ruby straight towards the Nevermore. The force behind the shot is so powerful it knocks up rubble behind it just by firing. Ruby flies to the right of the Nevermore's head firing to keep her momentum. Her synthes blade catches the Nevermore's neck, as it and Ruby hit the Cliffface. Weiss creates a path of Semblance circle all the way up the cliff. Ruby charges ahead shooting to speed up her momentum. Finally hitting the cliff lip, Ruby fires her weapon one last time slicing off the Nevermore's head and landing beautifly on the top of the cliff.
Yang:(stears up) Well… That was a thing.
Hooded Man:(smiles) Hmm… Ha ha ha ha~!
We are Taiso
I look over at the Hooded man, who begins laughing and clapping. "HA HA HA HA HA~!" The Hooded man laughs, looking back towards the entrance I can see the other 4 Riders also looking at the Hooded man. Everyone's eyes are on this man… I hold my breath waiting to hear what this man is going to say next.
Hooded Man:(clapping) Oh, you Humans… You are both the Most hypocritical species and THE most amusing insects to ever see! I was expecting a blood bath, but Here we are! Not a single person dead!
Forge:(sweatdrop) I-... Can't tell if it's some kind of insult or not…
Jaune:(leans towards Forge) It probably is.
Forge:(steps forward) In any case.(points at Hooded man) Who are you! How are you controlling the Grimm?!
Hooded Man:(smiles) How?(shakes head) Oh, you people are such a curious bunch. But I'm sure you can all appreciate a good mystery!(Nevermore flies up behind him) So I'll keep it a secret for now! But I'll give you my name at the very least!
Forge:(uncomfortable step back) … You're… Name?
Legion:(respetable bow) You may call me… Legion. Me and the Others have many plans for you!(gets on Nevermore) So you're test ends here today everyone! Congratulations! You are all now Official Hunters and Huntresses in Training!(smiles) Enjoy your time at Beacon, It's gonna be a Bloodbath~!
Legion flies off not even muttering another word. Everyone stared in silence at the Hooded man now flying off into the distance on the back of a Nevermore, questions swirling around all of our heads. Staring at the black figure fading into the distance I can only clench my fist and feel a shiver of dread go down my spine. Legion, are there… More like him? Silence falls upon the area, as the Test comes to a close...
