In the Seven Seas News newsroom...
Zack announces, "we now go to Cody Martin for a special report. Cody."
He points over to a TV screen in the SSN-TV newsroom.
The Seven Seas News camera cuts over to Cody and his news report.
Cody reports, "Missing at Sea: Day 2. We now have two confirmations that it is not only one passenger missing. We also now know there is foul play going on. Both sources have agreed to be interviewed on the condition they remain anonymous. So... A quick question for our first source: A employee on the ship."
A silhouette is reflected on a projector screen.
Cody sits down in a chair. He's facing the projector screen.
Cody questions, "as a employee on the ship... Can you confirm that there should be 2,000 passengers onboard?"
From the direction of the projector screen... A high pitched voice insists, "yes honey. I checked and rechecked the ship's manifest."
Cody concludes, "thank you for your time. And now... Time for our second source."
The high pitched voice goes, "you're welcome honey. Before I go... Do y'all have any mustard?"
Woody points out, "it's on the table, Kirby."
The high pitched voice realizes, "oh."
Cody nervously points out, "Woody: Anonymous means no one knows who that is!"
Cody adds, "sorry Kirby. Um... Rats!"
In his normal voice... Kirby assures, "that's okay. I'm going to go finish my sandwich now. Bye Cody."
Cody awkwardly adds, "bye."
Kirby leaves.
Another silhouette appears on the projector screen. This one has a wand pointed at Cody.
From the direction of the projector screen... A familiar voice warns, "Cody? You better not announce who I am."
Cody makes a nervous face.
He assumes, "okay, okay! Just don't point that toy wand at me...and maybe seek some counseling."
The familiar voice remarks, "so says the news station on deck with staff that need help on figuring out what's not too personal to show on the air and what is too personal to."
Woody calls out, "hey!" Cody mutters, "anonymous source... Did you just insult all of us?"
A familiar voice suggests, "oh sorry. Aside from Bailey Pickett? Just your class's news station. She actually seems to know how to report... Moderate sigh. If your annoying brother let her talk much."
With mixed feelings... Cody goes, "umm... Thank you? She is my girlfriend."
A little stunned... A familiar voice reasons, "wow. Maybe I underestimated you a little."
With a smile... Cody reasons, "yes. Maybe you have."
Cody questions, "what can you tell us about our missing passengers?"
A familiar voice continues, "well... Moderate sigh. Richard Gold sounds like a fake name of a stowaway: The fake name of the supposed missing passenger. I may not know much for certain about Richard Gold. But... S.S. Tipton security let me look at the ship manifest...in light of the last time Alex Russo was here."
Cody looks wide eyed in shock.
He says, "oh my god! You're not saying..."
A familiar voice points out, "yes I am. My sis... Um... I mean si: The Spanish word for yes. Yes: Alex Russo is up to something on this ship. Moderate sigh. How do I know this? Monroe Cabot and his daughter Olivia Cabot were expected on this ship. But, my intel says only Olivia Cabot showed up...and disappeared in a hour. S.S. Tipton security has been looking for her, and so is her father Monroe. He's very worried about her."
From the SSN-TV newsroom... Zack asks in shock, "what?"
Back on Cody's news report... Cody wonders, "umm... How do you know all of this?"
Justin supposes, "that's powerful classified information. Let's...just say I'm with the government and leave it at that."
Cody assumes, "okay: Fair enough. I don't want to know what spy device that wand is."
Justin all too lightly adds, "and you never will."
Woody all too lightly asks, "ooh! Can I touch it?"
Justin calls out, "no!"
Woody goes, "aw."
He frowns. Cody just shakes his head annoyedly.
Later that day...
Zack is heading to his cabin.
With a slight glare... Zack mutters under his breath, "how can this be? She's up to something, and she didn't let me in on it?!"
He lets out a frustrated sigh.
With a smile... Alex says, "hello Zack."
Zack looks wide eyed in shock.
Zack nervously figures, "umm... Alex. Hi. H...how did you...?"
Alex hints, "no time to answer now. Meet me in Suite 1123 tonight. I'll let you in on my plan."
Zack concludes, "sweet! All is forgiven."
Alex waves to him. Zack waves back.
Alex fast walks down the hall.
And... Zack sees some electrical sparks going off right behind her.
Zack all too lightly reasons, "electrical sparks coming from Alex? Oh, please. Scoff. That's not sparks: Just a brilliant prank she has to scare away nerds."
He heads into his cabin. He closes the door behind him.
What he doesn't see...are lights in the hall flickering on and off around the electrical sparks.
The next day, in Cabin 1123...
Zack annoyedly mutters, "how was I supposed to know it was a trap?"
Zack and Alex are tied up to cushioned chairs on wheels. Another Alex is standing by.
Alex comments, "oh gee. Maybe the electrical sparks from my robot me?"
She heavily sighs.
Getting teary eyed... Alex solemnly murmurs, "I should never have run away from school."
Zack apologizes, "sorry."
Olivia Cabot somewhat nervously tells Robot Alex, "please don't hurt them."
She's wearing a deep sea diving wetsuit. It's mostly red.
Robot Alex lightly insists, "no: Of course not. You can trust me Olivia. This is just to buy time for us to escape with our new riches."
At the same time... She's crossing her fingers behind her back.
Zack and Alex heatedly glare at Robot Alex.
With a smile... Olivia all too lightly goes, "oh good! Chuckle. But... If Zack wants to come? I want him bad."
Robot Alex figures, "all right! Now go and get into the rest of your scuba gear and get us our first sunken treasure."
Olivia adds, "okay!"
Olivia fast walks out the door to the suite. She closes the door behind her.
Robot Alex darkly observes, "not even a smile from Zack. Laugh. Well, no worries on him having to drag us down."
Zack fires back, "hey! I got skills, robot psycho."
Robot Alex cruelly laughs.
She challenges, "you turned down my offer to be grown up like me. What does that say about you?"
Zack determinedly points out, "no: You tried to trick me into thinking the real Alex is a robot and for me to beat her up as a sign of loyalty to you. Alex and me may play tricks and pranks on people. But... She would never want to go too far like this."
Alex smirks a little at the last part.
Robot Alex figures, "suit yourself. I still kind of like you Zack. So... Moderate sigh. I'll give you a few minutes with one of my creators."
Zack somewhat lightly adds, "thanks."
Robot Alex walks into the bathroom of the suite.
Electrical sparks go off around her as she does. Lights flicker on and off for a bit.
She closes the door behind her.
Zack nervously wonders, "what...what happened to you Alex?"
Alex nervously asks, "Zack... You really want to know?"
Zack assures, "yes. I love you Alex...and nothing is going to make me change my mind on that. Not even Olivia: Who I had some good dates with."
Alex blushes some.
Alex reasons, "aw. All right. I...I'll tell you."
Alex somberly reveals, "it all started when I was selling T-shirts on school property. My brother Justin, as part of the school student body, said I have to give a large percentage of that money to the school. That's not why I ran away though: I'm getting to it. Heavy sigh. Because of the donating part... I was selected in the school for a citizenship award for being a good citizen. It was fun annoying my brother on that one...until I got up to make a speech about it. I was winging it: Really bad. And no one... Hard sniffle. No one told me until too late: Not even my brother. Hard sniffle. I embarrassed away everyone else at my school. No one except my parents and the principal would talk to me: Like actually talk to me like a human being. Hard sniffle. Justin was just rubbing in the bad news."
Zack gets teary eyed.
Alex continues, "the principal tried to help by saying he's my bff. But, that just made the other kids make fun of me more. And... Hard sniffle. I couldn't wait for the principal to try another way to make me feel better. I just ran. Hard sniffle. A little magic at the right time, and I snuck onboard to this cabin. Hard sniffle. Then I found London. London told me this cabin is her extra closet space. I asked if anyone else knew, and she asked what it would take for me to keep this a secret from her father so that she can keep all her extra clothes. So you see... Hard sniffle. I had this really stupid idea to get popular again. Hard sniffle. I made London a deal to pay for a company to build a robot me, no questions asked, in exchange for not telling anyone her secret. And now..."
Zack grimly realizes, "she's trying to take over your life instead of taking the fall for you."
Alex somberly admits, "yeah. She is. Hard sniffle. I created a monster. And... Hard sniffle. Now I don't know how to fix any..."
She's about to cry.
But... Zack says something first.
Zack tries to assure, "don't worry about a thing. I'll take care of her. Trust me."
They both faintly smile.
The teariness in both of their eyes starts to dry up.
Robot Alex is coming back.
Zack all too lightly suggests, "hey Robo-Alex? Before you destroy us... Wouldn't it be easier to make a robot version of me by taking my measurements first?"
With a dark grin... Robot Alex assumes, "I can make a robot Zack? What a wonderful idea!"
She pulls out a tape measure from who knows where. She uses it to measure the overall height and width of Zack.
Interestingly... Zack is, for both times, purposely shifting his body away some.
Robot Alex moves the tape measure faster to take the measurements.
Some electric sparks unintentionally go off from her moving faster fingers...and onto Zack's ropes.
With the ropes around Zack starting to burn and become fragile? He moves his arms quick enough to break free from them.
Robot Alex gasps in shock. Alex laughs.
Smoke goes off from the exploding ropes. Robot Alex reactively shields herself with her arms.
Alex comments to Zack, "well, good for you. But, I'm still tied up here!"
Zack points out, "I'm working on that!"
He goes over to Alex.
But... Robot Alex angrily charges for Zack.
Zack goes, "oh dang it!"
Zack barely tumbles out of the way of Robot Alex's bladed robot fingers.
Alex lightly suggests, "oh! I know. Give me my wand."
Zack asks in confusion, "what?"
Alex adds, "just trust me." Zack adds, "okay."
Just then... Harper throws metal chopsticks into Robot Alex's back.
Robot Alex is shaking all over. Electric sparks go off all around her.
Harper informs, "I got it stunned Alex."
Alex realizes, "ohh: That's even better! You came to help me, Harper."
Alex, Zack, and Harper smile wide.
Teary eyed... Harper bittersweetly reflects, "yeah. Admittedly? I first thought you hanging out with the principal more meant you...wanted more time to think about things before coming to find me. But... When you ran away? Hard sniffle. I realized I should come find you. Faint chuckle. I'm here for you now."
She goes over to Alex. She unties her.
Alex and Harper hug each other close.
Zack wonders, "how did you get onboard?"
Harper divulges, "I talked my carefree parents into letting me come on deck on my own to look for Alex. I also talked Justin into giving you the chance to come back on your own."
Alex solemnly says, "thank you Harper. I forgive you." Harper goes, "aww."
Zack offers Alex her wand.
Zack adds, "here you go Alex." Alex adds, "thank you."
Alex pulls away some from Harper so she can cast a spell.
Alex spell casts, "a robot me can't be better... Box up the bot, better return her to sender!"
Robot Alex vanishes in a puff of smoke.
Zack realizes, "wow. You're a wizard!" Alex adds, "yes. Yes I am."
Zack remarks, "and Harper... Why couldn't I have your parents when I was growing up?"
Harper and Alex laugh hard.
Harper points out, "you know? Being in a circus isn't all fun. You'd have to work really hard."
Zack nervously realizes, "ohh. Never mind. You lost me at the work part."
Alex laughs.
She adds, "aw. Me too."
Harper assures, "it's okay Zack and Alex. Circus life is not for everyone."
Zack and Alex add at the same time, "thanks."
Not long after, just outside Cabin 1123...
Cody starts to report, "Missing at Sea: Day 3. Zack? Alex? Can you tell us what's in...?"
Alex, Harper, and Zack are running out the door wearing wetsuits, air tanks, and goggles. The door closes behind them.
Alex's wetsuit is purple. Harper's wetsuit is mostly white and green. Zack's wetsuit is blue.
Almost at the same time... Alex and Harper call out, "sorry. No time!"
Zack calls out, "sorry Cody! We're going after bigger gold."
Alex, Harper, and Zack run jump off the S.S. Tipton and into the waters.
Cody nervously observes, "well... That was awkward. Keep the camera rolling, Woody."
In the Seven Seas News newsroom...
Bailey concludes, "Zack going after a breaking news story of his own? Not if I get there first!"
She grins. She starts to fast walk out the door.
Miss Tutweiller brings up, "Bailey! As much as I admire your drive to succeed... Who's going to be news anchor now?"
Bailey realizes, "good point. I'll call in somebody."
She points upward on the first part.
Miss Tutweiller nervously adds, "great."
Bailey heads out the door. She calls someone on her cell phone.
Bailey says, "hello? London? Can you appear on TV for me? Wait a minute. Who is...? Oh. Ohh. Laugh! That's a whole lot better than what I was thinking. Thank you very much."
While Cody continues on with his news story on Cabin 1123...
Alex, Zack, and Harper swim together to a sunken ship.
They're about to swim in to check it out...when they see London's shoe submarine.
From the shoe submarine... A familiar voice reports, "Seven Seas News viewers... You've seen it right here from London's shoe submarine's cameras. Bailey Pickett has got the treasure first."
Zack and Harper at the same time realize, "Robot Alex?! I thought you...!"
Alex awkwardly insists, "hey! I thought I left her back in her box to not be found too."
Olivia murmurs, "aw. I was swimming around too long. That treasure should've been mine."
She's now sitting down on the sunken ship. She's pouting to herself.
From the shoe submarine... Bailey lightly declares, "yes! I found the treasure chest in a underwater cornfield, Zack. My story. Not yours! My story. Not yours!"
With a glare... Zack mutters back, "I hate you."
Bailey chuckles. Harper and Alex frustratedly groan.
That night...
There's a party in the Seven Seas News newsroom. Everyone there is wearing casual clothes.
The ratings are still high for the show. It'll likely last for two whole weeks for Miss Tutweiller's school assignment of news broadcasting for her students.
Bailey didn't just find gold coins in that treasure chest. She's also found a book titled Haakon Haakonsen: En Norsk Robinson, a pirate ship toy, a film reel labeled The Muppets Broadcasting Company: Let's Hear It For Your Ears, and a defunct supply of Earn It spyglasses toys.
Olivia was grounded by her dad. London had to give back Cabin 1123 to her dad.
Bailey has donated most of her riches to environmental groups to fight climate change. She's kept a hundred thousand dollars out of millions of dollars for her financial savings.
Bailey also has convinced a fully repaired Robot Alex to be a good robot by letting her be in charge of Mister Tipton's now growing popular robots division.
And... A glum Zack is in the corner of the classroom playing with a Earn It spyglass toy.
Cody pinpoints, "Zack? I know you're still bummed out about Bailey beating you. But... Do you know why that commercial cargo ship was taking those spyglasses back to a toy company?"
Zack puts down the spyglass toy.
Zack cluelessly figures, "no. Why?"
There's a ring of charcoal left from the spyglass toy around his eye.
Bailey holds up her portable mirror so Zack can see.
Zack cries out in shock. Cody and Bailey chuckle.
Alex assures, "don't worry, my knight. Harper will help clean it off." Zack adds, "thanks Alex."
Alex nervously calls out to Bailey, "and I wasn't having him spy on you for something we could use to get back at you with a prank! That would be crazy."
Alex leads Zack away by the arm. They're both nervously smiling.
Cody comments, "they're so jealous of you sweetie. I'm proud of you."
Bailey too lightly concludes, "aw. Thank you sweetie. And I know: It does feels good."
They both smile wide.
A hour or so later...
Justin and Alex are talking in a hall of the S.S. Tipton.
Teary eyed... Justin nervously checks, "do...do you still need me to back off?"
Teary eyed... Alex somberly voices, "Justin... Moderate sigh. You on purpose didn't take the truth spell away all day that day so I'd really badly humiliate myself and have almost no friends anymore. Hard sniffle. How can I ever forgive you for that?"
With mixed feelings... Justin concludes, "I...I understand I haven't been a good brother in recent days. So... Hard sniffle. I hope this will help you be popular again."
He hands Alex a DVD set of Muppet Babies.
Alex deduces, "really? I'm not trying to hate on the Muppets. I love the Muppets. But... This is the best you can come up with to make me popular?"
Justin plans out, "no one has a official release of the DVD set of Muppet Babies. It didn't exist until I cast a spell and made one for you. Now you can show it off to plenty of teenagers from school, get a ton of invites to go to their houses, and bring it from house to house to watch it with them or their younger siblings. You're welcome."
Alex looks wide eyed in shock.
Alex realizes, "wow. That...that is a brilliant way to start up a babysitting business and be popular. I could do less work, and sell T-shirts of mine to little kids! Thank you Justin. I...I think I can forgive you."
Alex hugs Justin. Justin hugs her back.
The teariness in both of their eyes is starting to dry up.
Justin brings up, "thank you. Also... Max is sorry for selling bunched up T-shirts to throw at you, and that before Mister Lariate gave him detention. Mister Lariate does care for you too."
With a smile... Alex concludes, "I feel so much more honored now."
From across the hall... Harper and Zack smile in their direction.
They walk over to Justin and Alex.
Alex wonders, "Harper... Can you sew the T-shirts? Because I can only do so much."
Harper assures, "I'd be happy to Alex. And of course I want to be ready to jump in if you need help babysitting."
Zack concludes, "well... Better you than me Harper. I got plenty of happy for my girl already."
Alex and Harper chuckle hard. Justin annoyedly sighs.
Alex and Zack pull each other into a kiss.
Alex lightly tells, "come on Zack. Let's go someplace more private."
Zack lightly goes, "all right!"
Alex and Zack head back to Zack's cabin...holding hands as they do.
Justin recalls, "hey: You still got to go back to Waverly Place with me and Harper!"
Harper tries to assure, "oh Justin. Chuckle. Let her be happy. We'll just head back tomorrow."
With a annoyed tone... Justin deduces, "fine. I guess I kind of deserved that."
They both smile in a knowing way. They'll all be back at Waverly Place soon enough.
