As the light of the sky slowly disappeared, Lin Ye had to end the conversation with Yelena short. With the message that he just got from Skadi, he guessed both her and Exusiai must be quite worried for her.

With the sight of the first star in the sky, he excused himself and said his temporary goodbye to Yelena.

He also tried to invite Yelena to come along with him, intending to introduce her to Skadi and Exusiai, but he was rejected by her, saying that she had her own business to do.

He remembered that she was also the leader of a group, and he nodded in agreement. He didn't want to force her.

So after that, they exchanged mobile phone numbers and parted.

However, before he left, Lin Ye felt that something was amiss.

Yelena was acting quite… weirdly out of nowhere. She sounded a bit colder than how she acted before. If he had to guess, she started to act that way after he told his name to her.

The question was, why?

Maybe she was mad at him for telling his name sooner?

Maybe he was overthinking all of this?

After leaving the roof, Lin Ye walked past a house, and a cold voice sounded behind him.

"Finished?"

"Holy Messiah!"

Lin Ye's soul almost left his body when he heard this.

He turned his head and saw Skadi who was folding her arms and leaning against the wall, standing in the shadows.

"... Skadi?" Lin Ye breathed a sigh of relief, "It's you. I thought it was the enemy or something."

Skadi put down her hand and walked out of the shadows slowly. Her red pupils stared coldly at his blacks.

She looked a tad bit angry.

What was with women being angry at him today?

"What's wrong?" Lin Ye immediately asked, "Did I make you wait for me too long?"

Skadi gently shook her head "I did not wait long."

"Oh?" He sighed in relief, "I thought-."

"I only waited about half an hour."

"..." He stared at her, "Are you doing this on purpose?"

Skadi's only answer was to stare at him.

After a while, she finally spoke, "You asked me to hold those people, but there are too many of them. Without hurting them, it's hard for me to hold them all back completely. It was my fault that they found you in the end."

She was blaming herself?

"It's fine," Lin Ye smiled and said, "They didn't mean to hurt me anyway."

"... If they did hurt you, I would kill all of them."

What Skadi said is actually very casual and bland, like how people would say the sky was blue today, but Lin Ye still felt some murderous intent from her.

He believed what she just said. After all, he knew how strong Skadi was, and it was possible to do such a thing. If one of them really did hurt him, Skaid would end all of them without a second thought.

If Skadi really killed those people, he wouldn't be able to talk with Yelena.

So it was really lucky of him and them that nothing like that happened.

"Fortunately no one got hurt," Lin Ye said with a smile, "Otherwise I wouldn't be able to talk with Yelena."

"Why must you talk to her?"

He didn't know if it was an illusion or him hearing things, but Lin Ye felt that Skadi's tone was colder than normal.

He scratched his head in confusion and said, "Well, I just wanted to talk to her like how I used to do."

"Even if she is your enemy?"

"Enemy?" Lin Ye was stunned by this "Why did you say that?"

Skadi tilted his head slightly and glanced behind Lin Ye as if to confirm whether Yelena had left his side or not. When she didn't see any figure, she withdrew her gaze and looked back at Lin Ye.

"Do you know where she came from?" Skadi asked.

"Where did she come from? I remembered asking her that a long time ago." Lin Ye nodded, trying to recall some past memories, "She said she came from a group of Infected that spontaneously gathered together. I did not get their name but-."

"Reunion."

In the calmest tone, Skadi said that to him, however, Lin Ye felt the world stopped when he heard her.

"What did you say?" Lin Ye's eyes widened, "She's from Reunion?"

"The group she was talking about was the Reunion Movement." Skadi said, "You should be familiar with this group.

Familiar would be an understatement.

When Skadi said about Reunion, Lin Ye immediately thought of the pale face and the sick smile on someone.

Lin Ye couldn't believe it.

Was Yelena in the same group as him?

"Are you sure?" Lin Ye couldn't help asking.

Skadi shook her head and turned, "Come with me, you'll know soon."

With that vague answer, Lin Ye immediately followed her.

Skadi guided Lin Ye around the small town of Sokk for a while, they did not say anything throughout all of this. After a while, they finally came to a very ordinary-looking house.

Skadi pushed open the door and entered, and she glanced at Lin Ye, sibling him to follow her.

As he entered the house, he had a hunch about where they were. He was willing to bet that this place was the Bounty Hunter branch in Ursu. Their objective on what they were here.

Then he noticed a familiar figure in the house.

At this moment, he saw Exusiai and a person sitting at the dining table, chatting away. From the look of it, the man should be the one in charge here, Chris if he remembered correctly from what Skadi told him.

The angel was happily devouring an apple pie, Lin Ye did not know where she got it, while Chris was telling her about what bounty hunters do. From the look of it, he was trying to recruit her into joining him. Lin Ye was not that worried about her joining him.

She was not the type of person that would be easily used by people so it was fine.

However, she looked not that interested in joining, more focused on enjoying her food.

When Lin Ye closed the door behind him, both of them turned their heads to face Skadi and him. Exusiai was the first to react, smiling at his arrival, she got up from her seat and went to greet them. It was like she was reminding Chris that she already had a job.

Lin Ye shook his head, but a smile was still present on his face.

Chirs however had his intention more towards Skadi than him. Seeing her, he went straight to business with her. However, the way he approached her was like, he was meeting a Lord or something.

"The money is ready," Chris said to Skadi with a smile while handing her a bag of money.

Skadi just hummed and took the bag from him.

When they were done greeting each other, all four of them sat at the dining table. He wanted to start off the meeting by asking about the medicine however there was something that was bothering him to no end.

Is Yelena truly in Reunion?

He knew it was better for him to ask her instead but he thought that it would be awkward if he did that. So he chose the next best thing for information, Chris, the man in charge of the bounty hunter branch in Ursus. He must have something for him to know.

However, before that, he wanted to know what bounty hunters usually do. So he asked him that first.

"Bounty hunters are generally rarely commissioned to kill people, at least people that are usually on the brighter side of Terra," Chris said, "If that was not the case, many high ranking people around the world would not be breathing right now. However, the person that was assigned for Skadi to kill, CopperHammer, was an exception to this."

"How so?" Lin Ye asked.

"He has continuously killed bounty hunters under my command, and I had no one to get rid of him," He sighed, "That was why I ordered a bounty for his head for Skadi."

So that is the case. So she did not kill people aimlessly. I know that she wouldn't but it was reassuring to know it was right.

With one topic down, Lin Ye moved on to the next topic at hand.

He asked Chris about Reunion.

"Reunion? Luckily for you, I know a lot about them," Chris hummed, "We bounty know a lot about them because, in a way, Reunion is not that different from what we are. But there is a difference. They are much more extreme than us."

Lin Ye raised a lone eyebrow hearing this, "What do you mean?"

"Just like bounty hunters, Runion would do anything for money. But unlike us, there are many jobs that we won't take, jobs that they would gladly take. No matter what kind of job, as long as there is money, they will take it. And because the members of the group are all Infected, what they do is also crazy."

Looking back on his experience of fighting with the group, Lin Ye felt that Chris' description was on point what they were.

So, in summary, Reunion is just bounty hunters without restrictions? Noted. Now about Yelena.

Just as he was about to ask Chris about Yelena's situation, Chris spoke first.

"Didn't you just meet them today?" Chris asked, "Why are you asking me about them?"

Lin Ye did not like what he was implying, "Are they, the group of people in white, from Reunion.?

"The people that were in the bar? Yes," Chris sighed softly, "I was thinking, as long as the CopperHammer is solved it would be fine. Seeing them, it will be difficult for me to continue working here. Looks like I need to find a new location. I would be surprised that most of our bounty, will take them. The best thing I can do is to move one and find a new place."

"They're here to compete with you?" Lin Ye asked

"That's not true." Chris shook his head and said, "They are looking for a place to live. After all, you know how Infected are treated in most places in Ursus. Not to mention if a large number of Infected are discovered by the Ursus' government, they will definitely not be able to escape the siege. A remote place like Sokk would be the best place for them to stay."

Hearing all of this, Lin Ye's grips hardened.

As for what Chris said later, Lin Ye tuned it all done, not caring what he said.

Yelena was really from Reunion.

And his relationship with that group… was not the greatest.

Hearing this, Lin Ye noticed how familiar the group that Yelena was in charge of with the people that he faced when he was at Kjerag.

Lin Ye took out his mobile phone, opened his contact, and found Yelena's number.

He really wanted to make a call.

However, no matter how much he tried, his finger could hover just above her name.

"Big Sis. Big Sis," Flakes called.

Snapping out from her thoughts, she glanced at Zane.

The group was still at the bar. This place was not their new HQ. Most of the group was scouting the area. The only people left were him and his big sis. Both of them were seated at the counter.

"What is it?" Yelena asked him.

"Nothing, I just want to make sure you are fine," He answered, then he became serious "You are fine right."

"I am fine," She told him. Yelena glanced at her body and hummed, "I am better than ever."

"It's great, I thought something was wrong with you." He sighed in relief, "You were daydreaming quite a lot now."

"Just have a lot to think about." She vaguely answered. Not that he noticed.

"It's fine, then…" Zane rubbed his hands, "Who was that man with you on the roof when we found you?"

Yelena froze in place hearing this. After being silent for a while, he glanced back at him and asked, "Do you remember the person I told you last time?"

"Last time? I" He Fu showed a surprised expression, "Was he the veterinarian?"

"... No. Not that," Yelena shook her head, "The man that Tallulah told us who killed Mephisto and a large number of our family. Do you remember?"

"Of course. I remember, how could I forget." Zane's face scowled as he remembered the man, "It's Lin Ye, right?"

"Lin Ye…" Yelena muttered the name, "It seems that I remember correctly."

"What is wrong?" He asked her worryingly.

"... Nothing," Yelena shook her head and said. She pushed herself off the seat, "Let's go, with BromzeHammer dead, from today, the town of Sokk is ours."
