Chapter 9
The next morning
The sunlight peered through the curtains of the room and hit directly onto Naruto's eyes. Rolling over to the other side, he groaned 'stupid sun! One day I'll blow you up for disturbing my sleep!' Sighing to himself, he arose from the bed and went through his morning rituals before heading downstairs for breakfast. As he arrived in the kitchen, he remembered that he was going to spend the day with Kushina today. Seeing that he was alone, he went about making breakfast for everybody. As he was preparing the food, minato and kushina entered the kitchen to the sight of Naruto working the kitchen. Upon noticing them, Naruto instructed them to take a seat and await the food. Soon the food was served and the family of three- soon to be four- ate together while discussing their plans for the day, with Minato going to the office while kushina and Naruto further planned their day out.
Giving his wife a kiss, Minato left to do his work at the hokage tower while the other two members of the household went about making plans. After about two hours, they had everything prepped and ready so they departed for their day out.
As they travelled through the streets of the village, they made light conversation and kushina teased Naruto about his relationship with Izumi and the possibilities of grandchildren. Meanwhile, Naruto decided on his walk with his adopted mother that he was going to tell her the truth of his origins today.
Hours passed and the two redheads were currently moving to an unoccupied training grounds where Naruto was going to come clean. As they arrived at the grounds, kushina looked to her son and said, "Naru-chan, what is wrong?" To which, Naruto looked at her before doing some handsigns and placing his hands on the floor and said 'fuuinjutsu:outcast dimension'. Looking up at his companion who was looking at him with stars in her eyes from his sealing technique, Naruto sweatdropped. "Sugoiii naru-chan! I had no idea that you were this capable in fuuinjutsu. What does it do? How does it work? And can you teach me? That would be so cool dattebane!" exclaimed kushina while looking at Naruto.
"This is my own creation called outcast dimension. I based it on a privacy seal but my technique is way more advanced. What it does is that it transports the occupants of a set area to another dimension while simultaneously casting a genjutsu on the surrounding areas so that anyone who wanders into the area would see something of the users design. In our case, they will see us talking. The best part is that it consumes as much chakra as about a kage bunshin to use and that is only to initialise it afterwards, it draws on ambient energies to sustain itself until the user releases the technique at which point, the seal release the nature energy back into the ambient environment." Responded Naruto with a look of pride on his visage. "And yes I can tech you it but it would have to stay between myself and you. No one else can learn of it," continued Naruto. "Now as for why I brought us in here, I need to tell you something important about me that nobody else can know-not even Minato." Said Naruto as he grew serious. Seeing the expression on his face, kushina nodded and Naruto began his tale.
He told her all about his life before they found him and what happened just before he was sent here. He told her about his biological family and also the fact that he was a devil even going as far as to show her his wings. He even told her about is inherited power from his mother's side of the family and gave a demonstration of its capabilities. After telling his tale, kushina looked at him and embraced him tightly and told him that he was still her son and that even though they may not be true clansmen, he is still family to her. At this Naruto felt a weight lifted off his shoulders and then asked if there was anything else she wanted to know. She nodded and asked if there was a way back to his home and if he would leave if there was one. At this Naruto told her that he had created a dimension travelling seal but it would take a lot of energy to power it as even though it could draw from nature, it still needed more power. Then kushina asked to see his evil pieces-which Naruto had admittedly forgot about until she asked. He showed them to her and explained how it worked. After that, Naruto released the seal and told kushina that they should go and get some ramen and that it was his treat.
As if he said the magic words, kushina immediately grabbed his hand and dragged him from the fields to the ramen stand where they could partake in 'the food of the gods'. After their ramen binge, they returned home where they decided that it was enough for the day and spent the rest of the evening in their home with Naruto showing kushina a couple of his seals and even teaching her the outcast dimension, a barrier designed to use against space time ninjutsu and a technique he created to rival the hiraishin of minato. Kushina gave him her input on some of his seals and grinned when he showed her the three he was going to teach her. She only managed to learn the barrier and outcast dimension however as her body wouldn't handle the strain of the last one right now.
With that they packed everything up and turned in for the night.
