I've finally finished this chapter and this mini arc that I've realized that I had put into for some reason.

I really hope that this almost a year update will be worth it.

Disclaimer: I do not own Danganronpa V3 nor its characters. You knew where they own them from.

TW: for blood, cursing, and other things I may not remember. If there is a thing that I wrote that may have trigger you, please tell me as soon as possible as to not let it happen again.

Chapter 5: Escape from the Rest Stop

Tsumugi did not respond to the stun gun that was pressed against her forehead, nor to the angry looks that Maki and the others. She shared a big smile at her in her most natural way.

"Hello Maki," she smiled brightly, looking up and down on her. Maki's hair was still in pigtails with red scrunchies, but her clothes are different. She wore a black blouse with red shoulder strap pants and white sneakers

"Hello Maki. How are you doing?" Tsumugi said, grinning through her teeth. Maki only glanced at her and pressed the gun harder to her head.

"You have five seconds to answer why the hell are you here, or I'll shock you so hard that you'll still feel the aftershocks even after-"

"Maki Roll!" Kaito's voice shouted as he hurried outside of the bus. He was wearing purple pants, space-like shoes, an alien hat, and a moon rocket shirt. He steps between her and Tsumugi.

"Maki Roll! Don't!" He turned to her. "Don't do anything rash." He also turned to Tsumugi. "Though Maki Roll did ask you a question. Why are you here?"

"There's a tracker in the bus. I've been able to track you." Tsumugi lifted her tablet and showed them the dot. Maki's eyes widen as the other kids slowly got out of the bus.

"None of you degenerate males checked to see if the bus has a tracker," Tenko shouted from beside Himiko. Tenko wore a half-green sunshine shirt, a dark blue beanie, blue jeans, and black boots. Himiko wore a light brown romper over a large red long-sleeved shirt, a light brown bucket hat, and lighter brown boots.

"Well, to be fair, none of us have thought of that. None of us expected Team Danganronpa to be one step ahead of us," Rantaro ruffled his long blue and white sleeved shirt, multiple pocketed blue pants, and blue sneakers.

"Wait, who's the old geezer in the back of that fucked up beyond repair?" Miu pointed to the light brown car behind them. Everyone turned around and walked over when they saw an elder man slumped down on the car, the blankets covering him stained with red; blood they realized right away. Keebo took one look at the old man and gasped.

"Dad!" he yelled, opening the door, and gently pulling him out. Everyone gasped at the sight of the old man.

"Professor Idabashi!" Miu yelled, opening the jacket to see the two bullet wounds. "Holy shit! He's been shot at!"

"I know how to treat bullet wound and such, but let's hope that it's not that deep and not too late," Maki lowered the gun, but handed it toward Shuichi, who pointed it toward Tsumugi. She pushed the kids that were still in the bus, grabbed the first aid kit, and approached Professor Idabashi.

As Maki checked the bullet wounds, Kokichi wheeled towards the spot where Shuichi and Tsumugi stood.

"You said that there's a tracker in the bus, right? Where is it? Where's the tracker?" Kokichi demanded. Tsumugi's eyes widen as she glanced at Keebo, who was searching his dad for internal damage the bullets wound may have cause. Kokichi glanced over at Keebo and seemed to understand to what she is trying to say.

"Hey Keebs!" he yelled. Keebo ignored him as he was checking on his dad with Maki beside him.

"Maki, is he going to be all right?" he asked, watching her treat Professor Idabashi.

"He'll be fine," she said. "My memories were fake, but they served a purpose. Seems like Danganronpa Maki can treat their wounds. And he was not injured critically, so he will be fine. He's probably going to be asleep for a while, so he'll live," Maki stood up and closed the first aid kit.

"Keebo!" someone yelled. They turned to see Shuichi, walking behind Tsumugi as Kokichi was wheeling behind them by himself. They stopped just of short or them.

"Tsumugi thinks that you might be able to detect where the tracker where the tracker is in the bus. You think you might be able to detect the tracker," he said. Keebo glanced up from what he is doing and looked at the three of them.

"I think I can. Dad and Miu put something in me that can detect any sort of tracking devices the family members might have," Keebo stood up and glanced down at his dad and creator. "Trackers on a bus. Seems pretty easy to me," he went to the bus, where they assumed that he was searching for the tracker. After a few seconds of him seemly searching for the tracker, he went back to the group with a grim expression.

"Tsumugi's right. There was a tracker in the bus, but-" he didn't finish as everything exploded.

"I knew it!"

"No one's checks if the bus has a tracker yet!"

"Well, we didn't know that there was a tracker in the first place!"

As the teens continued to argue with each other with the tracker, Keebo sighed and realized a crowd has formed around them. Some were taking pictures; others were talking on their phones.

"Um guys-"

"Why didn't you degenerate males get anything right!"

"Hey, you guys didn't check out if there's any tracker in the bus either, so you shouldn't be blaming at this point."

"Guys-"

"Nyeh, maybe we should blame this on Kokichi, since it's his plan!"

"Don't you dare blame this on me," Kokichi yelled as Professor Idabashi groaned, attempting to get up but settle down on the ground. Soon, Shuichi stopped arguing with them and realized that there was a crowd surrounding them.

"Um guys," Shuichi yelled. The teens stopped their arguing and stared at the growing crowd around them.

"Holy hell, how did we not see this!" Kaito yelled as the crowd got bigger and bigger. Someone shoved a camera in Kaede's face, who clutched onto Shuichi's whose eyes widen in fear.

"Aren't you Kaede Akamatsu," someone yelled as the crowd got tighter and tighter around them. The teenagers were now panicking as someone from the crowd tried to grab one of them.

"We need to get out of here! What if Team Danganronpa is here," Keebo yelled as he got onto the driver's seat. The others were climbing onto the bus as well, apart from Kokichi, who was carried into the bus by Gonta, who was also carrying his wheelchair as well, Maki was carrying Idabashi, who was stirring as well.

The minute that the last person went in the bus, the doors closed behind them as Keebo started up the bus and drove away from the site. Well, tried to. The fanboys and fangirls were actively trying to make sure the bus does not go.

"Why can't we run over these fuckers," Miu yelled from the shouting crowd and the teens in the bus.

"Miu, we're not doing that," Keebo yelled. Angie was praying to Auta while the others were glancing nervously as the crowd started banging on the bus.

Then, red, and blue lights entered the parking lot as police officers drove toward the crowd and the bus. The crowd disperses right away and one of the police officers went to the bus. Keebo freaked out the minute he saw them.

"The police officer is here," Keebo yelled. Everyone started to panic while Professor Idabashi stood up at full height and step forward and walked gingerly towards Keebo. Everyone grew silent at the sight of Professor Idabashi walking up to Keebo and tapped him on the shoulder. Keebo turned around and his mouth drop open.

"Dad I" Keebo attempted to say but Idabashi tried to push him away. Keebo did not want to, but Miu placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Let the old man do what he wants he's going to do," Miu whispered. Keebo glared nervously at his dad before stepping out of the driver's seat and allowing Mr. Idabashi to slipped into the driver's seat. Keebo sat down next to Miu who promptly force him underneath the bus seat. Keebo tried to yell at her, but stopped when the police officer knocked on the bus door.

Professor Idabashi opened the door and said, "How can I help you?"

The police officer stood silent. "Is there a reason on why there's a crowd around this bus?" The officer step up on the steps and glanced around the teens.

"To be honest," Idabashi said. "I don't know what happened. We were just stopping at this rest area when someone probably thought that one of them look like those Danganronpa characters on TV. One thing led to another and before we knew about it, there was people surrounding and trying to hurt of them."

When he finished the story the two police officers were nodding at the statement. "The story seems to add up with what the others are telling us. If we could see their IDs, then you can go on your way then."

The teens in the back started to freak out when they heard about their IDS, which they don't have. Idabashi must have figured it out because he turned to Tsumugi and said "Tsumugi, please bring in the kids IDS for me, please?" He pointed to his bag that was laying next to back of the bus.

Tsumugi was surprised but nodded wearily and grabbed the bag. She opened it and pulled out fifteen probably fake IDS with their faces on them. Shocked, she just handed it to Idabashi, who handed it to the police officers.

The one police officer came up on the bus and started to go up and down the bus, calling out the fake names while standing in front of said student. Each time, one of the kids raised their hands and pointed it at themselves. Someone said that Kaede is mute, with Shuichi proving that she is, in fact, mute.

After the final person, Shuichi, raises his hand, the police officers went out, telling Idabashi that he can finally leave again.

The bus slowly peeled out of the parking spot and drive far, far away from the rest stop until neither the kids nor Idabashi could see the blue and red lights of the police cars.
