Hey, guys bet you didn't expect to see me update this so soon weren't you? Well, to tell you the truth I didn't ether. I finished this chapter in about a day three days ago, so this is a short one since this is about the last bit of the second visit to Traverse Town. So I managed to add a little extra. and hey we're almost half way through the game now. We walked out of the Tired District and saw Cid at his Gummie Shop.
"Hey, Cid, is this the job you were telling us about?" I asked,
"Yep, this is it. I run the only gummie shop in town. If you ever need any gummi blocks to upgrade your ship feel free to stop anytime. I'll be here." Cid explained,
"Sounds great. We could always use a way to get the gummie ship stronger." Goofy said,
"Hey, that reminds me. I think we found another gummie block while we were out exploring." Sora said, giving it to Cid.
"Well, what do we have here. Looks like one of those gummi blocks that come in pairs. I can't install it without the other half." Cid said,
"Oh, well, we'll keep our eyes open for it while we're in other worlds," Emily said,
"Thanks for the help, Cid," Riku said,
"No problem, fella's see you around," Cid said,
"We made our way to the item shop and saw Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka unloading things for the triplites.
"Hey, guys, long time no see. How have you been?" Riku asked them.
"Huh, Riku!" They said, running up to us.
"No way we thought you were lost," Tidus said,
"I'm so happy you're safe; I've been worried sick about you," Selphie said,
"How are you doing, brotha?" Wakka asked,
"I'm fine. I've been looking for you guys too. So, what's been going on?" Riku asked,
"Well, after you left, the three of us started helping out around town. Since this place is still crawling with Heartless, we've been taking them out and stealing the stuff they have on them and giving it to Huey, Dewey, and Lewy." Tidus explained,
"That's great guys, do you have anything new in stock?" I asked,
"Yeah, tons of things. Also, Amy, your orders ready. If you're ready to pay, see Huey inside." Selphie explained,
"Thanks, I should head inside to see what else they have. Also, we need some crowbars. You guys wait here." Amy said, heading inside the item shop.
"Hey, how come I'm never in charge of the counter? All I ever do is clean up around here." Louie asked,
"It's because I know how to deal with customers. Dewey knows where everything is, and you're closet to the broom." Huey said,
"Aww, phooey, one of these days, I'll be in charge of this place," Louie said,
"Hello, boys, how are you doing?" Amy asked,
"Amy!" They said, greeting her.
"We've been waiting for you. Your order has been ready for a while." Huey said,
"Well, I hope I haven't kept you waiting for long. Hey, can I ask you a question?" Amy asked,
"Go ahead. Do you want to see the new items in stock?" Dewey asked,
"Yes, I do, but I was wondering what you know about the bell in the Second District?" Amy asked,
"Oh, the one on top of the gizmo shop? Well, it's said that if you ring it three times, the mural on the fountain will change." Huey explained,
"But the bell's been boarded up. Because it's not safe with the Heartless around." Dewey explained,
"Wait, are you going to the old bell. Cause if you are, please be careful." Louie said,
"We will. I just wanted to know if you have crowbars in stock," Amy said,
"Sorry, we're all out of stock. But we do have some new weapons. Want to look?" Huey asked,
"Sure, after that, I need to head back to the others," Amy said,
Amy brought the stuff she needed and a little extra and headed outside.
"Hey, there you are, Amy. We were wondering when you would come back," Riku said,
"Sorry, I'm late. The triplites were out of crowbars, so I brought us some new weapons to make up for it." Amy said, giving us the things she brought.
"Wow, this is so cool, thanks, Amy," Sora said,
"Now we're stronger than before. I feel like I can take on anything," Donald said,
"Well, I guess we better head to the gizmo shop before the Heartless find the Keyhole," Sora said,
"You're right, Sora. I'm ready for Riku to see how strong I've gotten," I said,
We rushed to the Second District, and as we expected, the Heartless were in full swing.
"Looks like we're not the only ones who thought to come here," I said,
"I think you're right. Maleficent must've thought to look here too," Goofy said,
"Aww, who cares about that witch? We'll find the Keyhole, and when we do, she'll see that we're real heroes." Donald said,
"Um, Donald, I think your missing the point of us being here," Chole said,
"So, where's the gizmo shop?" Riku asked,
"Over there up those steps," Amy said, pointing to the building. We ran inside, but the power was off.
"Great, looks like a power outage. I can't see anything," Donald said,
"Wait, since the powers out, doesn't that mean Heartless will be drawn to this place?" I asked, and at that moment, a swarm of Shadows appeared.
"You just had to ask, didn't you?" Donald said,
"Hey, can someone turn on the lights?" Goofy asked,
"Don't worry; I'll use my rainbow wand like a flashlight," Cindy said, lighting her wand so we could see.
"That's much better, thanks, Cindy," Sora said. We began to fight back against the Heartless. But even with Cindy's makeshift light, it was hard to see where we were going.
"Ow, my foot, what did I knock into?" Sora asked,
"I think it's a gizmo, Sora." Goofy laughed,
"Well, I didn't think it was funny. Take this Thunder!" Sora yelled, firing the spell at the Shadows. When he did, the power came back on.
"Sora, you did it! Your Thunder spell restored the power. Three cheers for my big brother!" I cheered.
"Hip hip hooray!" We cheered,
"That was nothing. Now let's get out of here. This place is getting crowded." Sora said we left the gizmo shop and climbed up to the roof.
"Well, this is it, right?" Emily asked,
"Yep, I think so. Now how do we breakthrough? We don't have anything strong enough to break down the boards." Sora said,
"Hey, what's this red mark?" Riku asked,
"Huh, a Trinity Mark!" I said,
"What's that?" Riku asked,
"A Trinity Mark is something to show we need to work together as a team. Come on fella's let's show him," Goofy said,
Sora, Donald, and Goofy lined up and smacked into the wood, breaking it.
"Well, haha, I guess that's one way to do it. Nice job, you three." Riku said,
"Thanks, Riku. Now let's see if the rumors are true." Sora said, ringing the bell and the mural on the fountain changed.
"Sora, I think something happened. Ring it again!" I shouted.
Sora rang the bell a second time, and the fountain changed again.
"One more time ought to do it," Sora said, ringing the bell one more time to revile the town's Keyhole.
"It worked, Sora, it worked. I can see the Keyhole! Come on, let's go, let's go, let's go!" I said, flying down.
"Dakota, wait for us!" Sora shouted as the rest jumped down.
"You know, I don't think I've seen her so happy before," Goofy said,
"I think it's because I'm here Dakota's grown quite fond of me," Riku said,
"You're lucky to have such a great girl like Dakota as your little sister. You two seem like good friends." Goofy said,
"Yeah, we are," Riku replied,
"Ahhhhh!" screamed, flying back to everyone as the Guard Armor made a reappearance.
"No way the Guard Armor? Didn't we take this thing down the last time we were here?" Emily asked,
"Looks like Maleficent brought it back. Well, guys, ready for round two?" Sora asked,
"Always!" We replied,
We used the same techniques we used the first time to take the Guard Armor. With Riku on our team, it was even easier to split up and take it down. After a few hits, the Guard Armor just fell apart.
"That's it? That's Maleficent's idea of a rematch. Ha, I thought that would be harder! Man, what an underwhelming battle." Emily said,
"Yeah, I was expecting it to be harder and stronger," Sora said,
"Well, you've guys have grown since then, plus I'm here with you. I think Maleficent underestimated our power." Riku said, walking over to the Keyhole. "So, this is the Keyhole. I've never seen one up close before."
"Yeah, it's pretty cool. Who would have thought there was one on our island, and we didn't even know it," Sora said,
"Uh, guys?" Chole asked, hearing rumbling.
"So, the Keyblade locks them automatically, right?" Riku asked,
"Yeah, it does. I've done this a few times," Sora replied,
"Um, guys?" Chloe asked again, seeing the Guard Armor moving.
"So, do you think it's possible for me to wield one?" Riku asked,
"Who knows, maybe once we find the King, he could teach you. It would be awesome to have you fight alongside us." Sora said,
"Guys!" Chole shouted,
"What?!" We asked,
"Look," Chole said as the Guard Armor rebuilt itself and became the Opposite, Armor.
"Oh, that Run!" Emily shouted, and the battle began again.
"What Heatless is it now?" I asked,
"I believe it's now called the Opposite Armor. A stronger version of the Guard Armor, be careful everyone this thing doesn't play around." Amy said,
"Yeah, well, neither do we," Sora said,
"Come on, girls, let's do this," I said. We all split up and targeted each part of the Opposite Armor. It was harder to fight it since it was stronger and used its chest as a cannon.
"Riku, look out!" I said as I swooped in to defend him.
"Phew, that was a close one, Dakota," Riku said,
"Hey, Riku, you were around Heartless with Maleficent, right? Can't you tell it to back down or something?" Sora asked,
"I don't have that ability, and even if I did, Maleficent wouldn't let me change its mind that easily," Riku said,
"Sora, I think it's time to use our secret weapon," I said,
"What secret weapon?" Sora asked,
"Use the summon stone!" I shouted, taking out an arm.
"I read you loud and clear. Give me strength!" Sora said, summoning Simba. Simba and Sora used a charge attack and took out the Opposite Armor.
"Wow, that was amazing," Riku said, seeing the Heart fly out of the Heartless.
"Yep, it's all in a day's work," Emily said, dusting herself off.
Sora walked over to the Keyhole, and the Keyblade did the rest.
"We did it. Traverse Town is safe now," I said,
"Nice job, you guys. I haven't seen fine work like that in a while," Leon said,
"Aww, you guys saw the whole thing, didn't you?" I asked,
"Just the part at the end, you guys make an excellent team," Yuffie said,
"Now that the Keyhole is locked, we shouldn't have any trouble with the Heartless for a while," Aerith said,
"That's great. But what about you, Riku? Now that our job here is done, what are you going to do?" Sora asked,
"Riku, I've been watching you for a while now, and I think you have the making of a fine swordsman. I wouldn't mind putting you under my wing for the time being. The Heartless won't be gone forever. We need all the help we can get." Leon said,
"Thanks for the offer, Leon. But I think I know what I can do next. I need to find Kairi, and I think Jessabelle and Wendy can give me a hand." Riku said,
"You're going back to Maleficent's domain? Riku, it's too dangerous. Who knows what tricks that witch has up her sleeve? She might try to turn you evil or something or worse, a Heartless I can't lose you I just found you again." Sora said,
"Hey, don't worry, I'll be fine. And even if something does happen to me, I know you'll save me." Riku explained, "Come on, I know you're busy helping Donald and Goofy find the king, so let me take care of finding Kairi."
"Okay, fine if you think you can do it. But I'm warning you if you even think about betraying us, I'll rip you limb from limb, got it?" Emily asked threateningly.
"Um yeah, I got it," Riku replied,
"Good, have a nice day now," Emily replied, skipping away.
"Riku, please be careful. We don't know what we're dealing with," I said,
"Like I said, don't worry about me, just think of me as a double agent I'll be sure to give you information from time to time. I'll let you know when I find Kairi." Riku said,
"Okay then but remember I'm always here for you if you need us. If you're in the same world as us. Don't be afraid to look us up." Sora said,
"I won't; I promise," Riku said,
We went back to the First District and said our goodbyes.
"Riku, I'm really going to miss you," I said,
"I'm going to miss you too, Dakota. Don't worry; we'll see each other again soon, okay? The next time I see you, Kairi might be with me." Riku said,
"Okay, Riku, I can't wait to show you how strong I've gotten when we see each other again," I said,
"Goodbye, guys, see you soon," Riku said, hugging all of us.
"Bye, Riku, I'll send you a postcard!" Sora said we went to the gummie ship and our planes and took off. We waved Goodbye to Riku, Leon, and the others, and they waved back.
"You sure those kids know what they're doing?" Cid asked,
"Of course, they do, Sora's the choosing one. And I have a feeling Riku will be one too." Leon said,
Riku walked away from Leon and the others into a dark alleyway where Maleficent was waiting for him.
"Sorry, I'm late. I was wondering if the offer was still on the table?" Riku asked,
"So, changed your mind, have we. Well, normally, I wouldn't do this, but I'll help you find your friend and teach you the power of darkness." Maleficent said,
"Are you sure the power of darkness can help me find Kairi?" Riku asked,
"It can and so much more," Maleficent said, and she and Riku left in a corridor of darkness.
Meanwhile, back at Hollow Bastion, Jessabelle was in Wendy's room trying to plan for rescuing the next princess.
"We could always warn Emily and the others. Maleficent is going to Agrabah tomorrow. And Jasmine is in trouble." Jessabelle said,
"We're too far away for clear communication, plus we're not allowed to leave unless Maleficent says so," Wendy replied,
"Aww, who cares about her rules? Last time I checked, we're supposed to gather information for Emily and the others." Jessabelle said,
"Jessabelle, I know you're getting impatient, but until Sora is strong enough to come here, everything is up to us. We owe it to Amy to keep things under control." Wendy said as a knock came from the door.
"Ah, quick, hide the board. Ah, who is it?" Wendy called out.
"Hey, guys, it's me, Riku."
"Riku?!" They asked, opening the door and shoved Riku inside.
"What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you to go with Sora and never return?" Wendy asked,
"Well, about that," Riku said, telling the girls about what happened.
"So, King Mickey disappeared; no wonder Donald and Goofy were looking for the key bearer. Alright, that makes sense, so since the others are looking for the King, you want our help finding Kairi?" Wendy asked,
"I know it's a bad idea for me to stay here, but you're the only ones who I can trust around here. So, what do you say will you help me find my friend?" Riku asked,
"Well, since Maleficent is dead set on finding the ultimate power, I don't think she'll be focusing on us for a while. Of course, we'll help you. But we have something to do first." Jessebelle said,
"Well, what is it," Riku asked,
"Have you ever heard of the Seven Princesses of Light?" Wendy asked,
We are about to go into the second batch of worlds starting with Agrabah next chapter. I hope you'll look forward to it because I want to finish this story sometime this year. also my next chapter for My Life in Despair School is more then half way done so expect that to be posted in about a week or two.
