Chapter 108

"So what's the deal with Nate and Katianna?" Aaron asked his fiancée as they were leaving the arena an hour later and headed back to their hotel.

Ashley smiled. She knew she was going to get asked that question eventually. "The two started hanging out in September. They were hanging out occasionally for a couple months until he was on Raw."

"I see," Aaron said. "I'm just surprised she didn't tell me about hanging out with him. You know."

"Babe, did she tell you all the times she had crushes on boys when you two were in middle school or high school?" Ashley asked, knowing full well the answer was no.

"No."

"Well, there you go."

"I'm just worried, because she's my sister."

"That's okay. You're her big brother. You're going to worry about her. But Nate is a good guy. Kati hasn't told me anything bad about him. Unless you know something, I don't."

"No, you're right, Ash," Aaron replied. "Nate is a good guy. I am just worried for her, because she is my little sister."

"And that's okay!" Ashley exclaimed. "That won't ever change either. My dad still worries for my aunt, his little sister."

Aaron chuckled.

The next morning, Katianna was up at 10:45 to get ready for her lunch date with Nate. Mariah had been staying in her sister's hotel room with her that weekend.

"Are you nervous at all?" Mariah asked her big sister as she got ready.

"Nope!" Katianna replied. "I'm very excited, though!"

"Good."

"I was really upset and everything when Darren broke up with me. But then Nate and I were talking while backstage at an NXT Houseshow in September suddenly and everything happened. I got really excited to go to the Performance Center for classes and everything. Then Nate and I were hanging out outside of the Performance Center. It was like Darren who?"

Mariah laughed. "And you never told Mom about hanging out with him?"

"Nope," Katianna replied. "Just you, Evie, and Ash know really. Well, now everyone knows."

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure Aaron and Trevor asked Ash and Evie about that last night."

"Whatever. I am a full-grown ass woman. One who is about to make her Raw debut tonight for Raw as a WWE Superstar."

"Yay!"

Katianna smiled.

There was a knock on the hotel room door. Katianna and Mariah exchanged smiles. Mariah got up from her bed and went over to the door to sneak a peek through the peephole.

"It's him," Mariah whispered.

Katianna giggled as her little sister did. "Open the door."

Mariah unlocked the door and opened it. She smiled as she saw Nate standing outside.

"Hi Nate," Mariah said.

"Oh, hey, Mariah," Nate replied with a smile.

"Katianna's right here," Mariah said, pointing over to her sister.

Katianna smiled as she walked over to the door. She had her purse on her arm. Her winter coat in her arms, because it was January in Boston and cold out. Plus, a cute little beanie hat in her hands.

"Hi," She said.

"Hi," Nate replied with a smile. "Ready?"

"Sure am. I'll see you later, Mari."

"Have fun," Mariah said. "Bye, Nate."

"Bye, Mariah," Nate replied.

Katianna stepped out into the hallway, closing the hotel room door behind her.

"Where would you like to go?" Nate asked. "Your choice."

Katianna recommended a place she would go with her parents all the time to whenever they were in Boston.

"My mom would go to it all the time when she lived in Boston. Then she would take my dad to it after they got together and were in town."

"Sounds good," Nate said.

A few minutes later, Katianna and Nate stepped outside their hotel in the freezing cold weather of Boston. They were both dressed in their coats and everything necessary to sustain the cold. They walked in the parking lot to Nate's rental car and then were on their way.

A half hour later, they arrived at a small restaurant. The place wasn't too busy. They asked to have some privacy, so they were seated at a booth in the back of the restaurant.

"This is a nice place," Nate said as they sat down.

"It is," Katianna replied. "I love it. And I think we'll have some privacy."

"Good. Nate Harris wants to enjoy his first date with Katianna Rollins!"

"Shh!" Katianna smiled, holding her finger up to her lips telling him to be quiet.

Nate smiled.

And the two did enjoy their first date. They enjoyed talking, their meal and each other's company.

A few hours later, the two were both at the arena for Raw that evening. They were both doing their own thing, because they had their own things to do. Katianna had to focus on her debut while Nate had to focus on his work for later that night.

"I am so nervous for tonight," Katianna confessed to the WWE Hall of Famers of The Four Horsewomen, her mom and her three adoptive aunts.

"You'll do great, Kati," Pam said.

"Yes," Ashley said.

"Boston is a great crowd," Becky said. "They sure were last night."

"Oh, my God, they were," Katianna replied.

"Well, Boss Town finally had the daughter of their hometown hero to cheer for," Mercedes said.

Katianna smiled at her mom.

"They love her son with Seth Rollins. And let's face it, Arick Rollins takes after his father. But wait till they see, Katianna Rollins take after her mother. She bears her father's name, yes. However, Katianna Rollins takes after Sasha Banks."

Katianna's smile widened. It was true. Aaron was like his dad in the ring while Katianna was like her mom. However, Aaron and Katianna had their own styles mixed in with that of their parents. It was what made them stand out. Yes, they were the son and daughter of Seth Rollins and Sasha Banks. But they did some things their own way. Just like Charlotte Flair, the daughter of the Great Nature Boy Ric Flair, did things her own way. The same with Natalya Neidhart or even Roman Reigns. WWE Superstars who came from great wrestling families.

"You know what will help with your nerves?" Becky asked.

"What?" Katianna asked.

"Maybe see if you can talk with Nate for a little bit," Becky suggested.

"You think?" Katianna smiled.

"Oh, yes. Talking to the guy you like helps out. Especially if he is a wrestler."

Pam and Ashley agreed.

Mercedes smiled.

"Talking to Fergal always helped me," Becky continued. "Of course, it took a bit for us to get together. But he was always a great friend and mentor."

"Did Uncle Fergal know about you going to make your debut on Raw with Mom and Aunt Ashley?" Katianna asked. "Or was that a surprise?"

"No, he knew. He was the only one who knew. He was the very first person I called after our segment, though," Becky said, looking at Mercedes and Ashley.

"Was your brother ever made about that since you two went into wrestling together first?" Pam asked.

"No. He didn't care. He completely understood me calling Fergal first. He was extremely proud of me, though and still is."

"I bet you talked with your dad right after, huh, Aunt Ash?" Katianna asked.

"Yes," Ashley (Charlotte) said. "I was balling my eyes out and sobbing uncontrollably. It had to do with myself and thinking of Reid."

"Well, lucky for me," Katianna said. "All the people I want to talk to right after will be here to see it in person. Especially my mommy."

Mercedes smiled as her daughter hugged her.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world, sweetheart," Mercedes said. "I am extremely proud of you and your brother for getting this far."

"My brother the future Universal Champion," Katianna said. "But like you said, Aunt Becky, I am going to see about talking to Nate for a little bit."

Becky smiled.

Katianna gave her mom a hug and kiss. As well as hug for each of her aunts.

"I'll see you all a little later," Katianna said.

"Bye, sweetheart," Mercedes said.

Katianna happily walked away and went to find Nate. It didn't take her long to find him at all. He was standing outside catering, playing on his phone.

"Hey," Katianna said.

Nate looked up to see who was talking to him. He smiled when he saw it was Katianna. "Hey yourself."

Katianna smiled.

"How's it going?" Nate asked as he put his phone in his pocket.

"Good. And you?"

"Same. But better now that I'm talking to you."

Katianna grinned.

"You look great by the way."

"Oh, thanks," Katianna said. She had gotten her hair and makeup done already for that night. Raw was in two hours actually. She just needed to get dressed into her ring gear, which she would in a little bit.

"You ready for tonight?" Nate asked.

"Yeah, just nervous is all."

"Understandable. I know I was two months ago. But you'll do great out there, Kati. You did last night in the Rumble and at WrestleMania last year for that Women's Battle Royal."

Katianna nodded her head. That was true. She had taken part in the Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania last year just like they had the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal each year at WrestleMania and had since 2014. The Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania didn't start until 2018.

"This is a big match, yes," Nate continued. "Its your official main roster debut. But you're going to have even bigger matches in the future. Someday you'll have a Number One Contender's match for the Women's Championship and then you'll have that Women's Championship match. You'll have big matches your whole career. You just need to take a couple breaths and go out there to do what you do best: being a great competitor and inspiration."

Katianna nodded her head with a smile.

"I know a lot of the girls back at NXT are so excited to see you debut tonight. I know a lot of fans are going to be excited for you to debut tonight. I especially know of a certain eleven-year-old girl who is excited to see her big sister debut tonight."

"Valerie," Katianna said, continuing to smile.

"Yeah. And I'm pretty sure Derek is excited for his big sister too," Nate said.

"He is."

"Being a WWE Superstar is one of the coolest jobs in the world. You're going to make a lot of people proud and excited tonight, Kati! Just go out there tonight and be Katianna Rollins! Let every woman of that locker room know that Katianna Rollins is here and she's ready to kick some ass!"

Katianna nodded her head with a smile.

"Yeah, smile," Nate said. "You have much to smile for."

"Thank you. I do. Talking with you makes me smile too."

"Same here," Nate smiled.

"And talking with you right now has helped my nerves somewhat."

"Anything to help you out. But maybe I can do one more thing."

"What?" Katianna asked.

Nate smirked. He moved forward and kissed her lightly on the lips. Katianna smiled to herself and happily returned the kiss.

A few hours later, Raw got underway. Things started out with a recap of Royal Rumble the night before. They talked about Arick Rollins winning the Men's Royal Rumble and then him announcing he wanted to face the current Universal Champion.

"And there's WWE Hall of Famers, Seth Rollins and Sasha Banks," One of the commentators commented as a camera showed Colby and Mercedes sitting front row in the crowd with Mariah, Derek, and Valerie.

The fans cheered seeing the couple.

"Yes, the proud parents of Arick Rollins," Another commentator said.

"Not to mention the proud younger siblings of him!"

"Yeah!" Derek cheered.

"We love you, Arick!" Valerie cheered.

"Your next Universal Champion, Arick Rollins!" Mariah cheered.

The current Universal Champion's theme music hit. There was a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd. Mariah, Valerie, and Derek booed, of course.

"Well, speaking of the Universal Champion," A commentator commented.

While the Universal Champion came out to speak about Arick Rollins challenging him at WrestleMania, Katianna was backstage getting ready for her match and debut. She had not stopped smiled since she got back to the women's locker room. She and Nate ended up having a full on make-out session. Of course, they did move from standing right outside catering to somewhere a little private. People had seen them, but Katianna didn't care.

Katianna didn't care because they were not the first two to do something like that. Back in the day, people would see her parents or her adoptive aunts and uncles with their respective significant others. People would even see Evelyn and Trevor making out. The same with Aaron and Ashley.

The current Universal Champion was named Cole Troy. Cole had actually defeated TR Andrews back in December to get the title.

"So Arick Rollins has decided to challenge me for the Universal Title, huh?" Cole commented.

Boston cheered.

Cole chuckled. "Well, I look forward to crushing his dream of winning this title as I crushed his brother-in-law to win it for myself!"

The crowd booed.

Cole smirked. "Yeah, let me remind you how I took this title from TR Andrews!"

Footage was shown of TR Andrews and Cole Troy going at it in their match. It had been a regular TLC match. Trevor had gotten hurt, though. He had been busted open and suffered a concussion. He had actually needed help to the back after the match. Evelyn had been on the road with him and came to check on him. She had just found out she was pregnant again too, so she was an emotional wreck.

Cole laughed. "Look at TR! And look at his poor wife so worried for him! That must have hurt so much! I look forward to doing the exact same thing to her little brother too!"

Arick Rollins's music hit. The crowd erupted into cheers and applause. Colby and Mercedes being a few of them with their three youngest kids.

Arick smiled as he walked out onto the ramp. He had a microphone in hand.

"Oh, are you happy about that, Cole?" Arick asked as he spoke and walked down the ramp. "Are you happy about how my brother-in-law needed to be helped to the back with my sister an emotional wreck?"

"Yeah, I am! Because I won this!" Cole replied, holding up the title. "I got what I wanted. And I'll do the same to you if necessary, to keep it!"

Arick smiled. "Well, I'll do what I have to do to win it! But before you and I come face-to-face for that Universal Title, I am stepping aside and letting someone else have their go at you!"

TR Andrews's music hit. The crowd went wild.

"TR Andrews," A commentator said.

"We haven't seen him since TLC. Since Cole had defeated him for the Universal Title," Another commentator said.

Cole was ready for TR. He dropped the microphone and his title belt just waiting. However, he was suddenly nailed from behind with a chair. It was TR Andrews.

Colby chuckled. This was going to be the start of Trevor and Aaron forming a tag team. This was the start of the Rollins/Andrews family taking over Raw.

TR beat the living hell out of Cole with the chair. It was his payback.

Evelyn was sitting backstage with Ashley watching her husband and brother.

"I love that fiery side of him," Evelyn commented as Trevor repeatedly hit Cole with the chair. "So hot!"

Ashley laughed.

Cole was down and hurt from the chair shots. Arick climbed into the ring. TR had stopped hitting Cole. Arick got right in Cole's face, the microphone still in his hand.

"I'll see you at WrestleMania!" Arick said. He threw the microphone down. He and TR then stood in the ring. Arick raised his brother-in-law's arm in the air. TR raised the chair up in his other hand.

The crowd went wild. Colby cheered and clapped for his son and son-in-law. This was the start to something special.

Raw went to a commercial and came back. Footage was shown of what happened. Arick and TR were then shown backstage. An interviewer came up to them.

"Arick and TR, tell us why did you attack Cole Troy?"

"Payback," TR said. "It was payback for me."

"Yep," Arick said. "I was only helping my brother-in-law out."

"It doesn't bother me that I lost the Universal Title," TR commented. "Not anymore. I've had a month to get over that fact. I don't need a rematch for it. I just don't take to kindly for him making fun of my wife. I don't take to kindly to it, because when I lost the Universal Title and was bleeding and a little disoriented my wife was worried. My wife was worried and scared, because she had found out she was pregnant again!

"But luckily I am just fine now. My wife is fine now. She will be fourteen weeks pregnant on Wednesday. It took a month for me to recover from that. But I am back. And I look forward to watching my brother-in-law defeat Cole Troy at WrestleMania and become the Universal Champion! However, Cole Troy, you and I aren't finished!"

The crowd cheered.

Later in the night, it was Katianna's time to shine. Her opponent, Gia Marcel complained about losing at Royal Rumble the night before. She complained about how she should have won the match and not Phoebe Michaelson on SmackDown Live.

"I am in a mood! So, whoever my opponent is tonight, make it snappy and let's get this show on the road!" Gia exclaimed. She threw the microphone down.

It was quiet for a moment. Katianna's music hit. The crowd cheered and screamed.

Katianna smiled brightly as she walked right out onto the ramp. She listened to the fans.

"Its Katianna Rollins!" The commentator said. "Its NXT Superstar, Katianna Rollins who gave one hell of a performance in the Women's Royal Rumble last night."

"Not just that, but it's the daughter of Boston's hometown hero, WWE Hall of Famer, Sasha Banks!" Another commentator said.

Katianna made her way down the ramp and to the ring. She got right inside. She was ready for her match. As was Gia.

The referee was already in the ring. She made sure both ladies were ready and they were. She called for the bell and the match got under way. The ladies locked up.

Colby, Mercedes, Mariah, Valerie, and Derek cheered Katianna throughout her match. Backstage, Evelyn and Aaron with Trevor and Ashley proudly watched their little sister. Many others proudly watched the match backstage. Nate being one of them.

Katianna had Gia laid out. She went over to the ropes and climbed to the top. She jumped from it, giving a Frog Splash.

"Frog Splash!" The commentator exclaimed as Katianna landed on Gia. She went for the pin.

"One…two…three," The referee counted. She called for the bell.

"Here is your winner, Katianna Rollins!"

Katianna's music quickly played and she got to her feet. The referee held her arm in the air.

The crowd cheered.

Katianna smiled.

"What a debut for Katianna Rollins!"

Katianna quickly got out of the ring. She went right over to her family. She embraced her mother.

"And there Katianna is hugging her mom, Sasha Banks!"

Mercedes held on tightly to her daughter. "Congratulations, sweetheart," She said.

"I love you," Katianna said.

"I love you too."

Katianna pulled out of her mother's embrace. She gave her father a hug next.

"Great job, baby," Colby said. "Great job."

"Thank you," Katianna replied.

Katianna pulled from her father's embrace. She looked at her younger siblings. She smiled brightly at them. She gave them a hand gesture. The three nodded their heads at her. It was her way of telling them she'd see them in the back.

Katianna went and slapped hands with fans as she was making her way to the ramp and to the back.

After making her way to the back, Aaron, Evelyn, Trevor, and Ashley were all there to greet her. Katianna smiled brightly at all of them. She hugged each of them. They were all proud of her. Next to greet her were Pam, Becky, and Ashley Sr. They were proud of her too. Then it was Jon and Joe. Katianna was happy to see all these people. But the person she really wanted to see was Nate.

And there he was patiently waiting for her.

"Hey," Nate said.

"Hi," Katianna said.

Nate smiled as he hugged her. "You looked great out there."

"Thank you. It was so much fun."

"We should celebrate," Nate said. "You want to go out after Raw?"

"Yes!" Katianna exclaimed.

"Great."

Katianna smiled.

"But first, how about a victory kiss?" Nate asked.

"Please," Katianna giggled.

Nate chuckled. He kissed her.

Katianna knew full well her parents and younger siblings would be coming backstage to see her soon, but she didn't care. She wanted to kiss Nate. She also didn't care about her older sister and older brother being nearby with her brother-in-law and future sister-in-law. Katianna was in the start of something new with Nate and she was going to enjoy every minute of it.
