Chapter 113

Later that day, the whole family was at the arena for Raw that night. Aaron, Trevor, Nate, Katianna, and Ashley all had to be there, of course, because they were current WWE Superstars. Colby, Mercedes, Evelyn, Mariah, Valerie, and Derek with that of the twins were all there to hang out and attend the show later that night.

"You're fucking telling me you saw the asshole who raped Mercedes again?" Jon questioned.

"Yep," Colby said.

"When?" Joe asked.

Colby shook his head with a smile. "When we all went out to eat earlier today."

"What happened?"

Colby explained to his friends what happened.

Jon shook his head. "Dude, fuck no! If that had been me, I would have fucked him up!"

"Oh, yeah," Joe agreed.

"I fucking wanted to, Jon! I fucking wanted to!" Colby exclaimed. "I would have kicked his ass twenty-five years ago in that fucking nightclub if Rami and Matt hadn't been holding me back."

"I wouldn't have held you back if I had been there with you," Jon said.

"Same," Joe said.

Colby smiled. "You guys get it!"

"I am a Catholic man and shouldn't use violence as a threat. But if someone had ever attacked Galina or JoJo the way Mercedes was, the man would be dead!"

"Yeah, same with Renee!" Jon said.

"Believe me, Glenn would be dead!" Colby exclaimed.

"Is Evie okay?" Joe asked.

"No, she isn't. Neither is Mercedes."

Joe and Jon nodded their heads.

Mercedes was with Pam, Becky, and Ashley talking about what happened earlier that day. Katianna had Mariah and Valerie with her and Ashley while Aaron had Derek with him.

"Asshole!" Ashley said.

"We should have let Colby kick his ass all those years ago," Becky commented.

"I want to kick his ass!" Mercedes said. "Punching him that day in Boston a few years ago felt good! He just got the better of me!" She started to cry. "It all just came back when it happened! When I was in that alley with him raping me! With him on top of me! With me trying to fight and it not working! With him choking me!"

Pam moved over toward Mercedes. She wrapped her arms around her friend, hugging her tightly.

Mercedes cried hard. She was reliving what happened again.

Becky and Ashley looked at each other with sadness. They were about to cry. Just as they had so many times over the last twenty-five years for their friend. They hated what happened to her and they hated now as she was in pain yet again.

"Oh, dear God," Mercedes cried.

"It's okay, Mercedes," Pam said.

Mercedes continued to cry.

"It's okay."

Pam looked at Ashley and Becky. "Find Colby now!" She mouthed.

Ashley and Becky nodded their heads. They got up from their seats. They both rushed out off to find Colby.

Colby was just outside catering talking with Jon and Joe. Ashley and Becky were glad for that. They told him what was going. Colby quickly walked into catering, which was where Mercedes was with Pam.

"Its okay, Mer," Pam whispered to her friend as she cried. She saw Colby coming over toward them. "Colby's coming."

Mercedes looked over to see Colby. She was quick to get up and go over to him. Colby wrapped his arms around her tightly.

"It's all right, Mercedes," Colby said. "You're all right, baby."

Mercedes continued to cry, but she cried into his body, muffling her cries.

"I know you hate reliving everything of that night! I hate when you do too! But you're okay, baby!" Colby commented, trying to sooth his wife's pain the best he could.

"I need to see Evie," Mercedes sobbed.

"Okay, let's go see Evie then."

Colby pulled away and looked at her. Mercedes looked at him. Tears streamed down her cheeks. "Let's go see our daughter and grandchildren."

Mercedes nodded her head with a smile, but the tears continued to fall.

Evelyn sat by herself as she watched her twin son and daughter play on the floor. She currently sat on the sofa in the locker room of The Shield. Trevor, Aaron, and Nate's locker room that was. The three Superstars were off doing something for Raw later that night. Derek was with them too. Evelyn knew this. She wished he was in the locker room with her instead. She wished her whole family was there.

The door to the locker room opened suddenly. Evelyn looked to see who was coming in. A smile spread across her lips as she saw her husband.

"Hey," Trevor said.

"Hey," She said.

"Dada," Hannah said, seeing her father.

"Dada?" Andy asked, looking around. He saw Trevor.

The twins began to chorus "Dada!" making both Evelyn and Trevor smile.

"Yes, Dada's here," Trevor said. He quickly went over to his son and daughter. He scooped them both up into his arms. He kissed them both. "Let's come sit over here with Mama."

Evelyn smiled as her husband and their children in his arms sat down on the sofa with her.

"Mama," Andy said, reaching for her.

"Come here," She said, taking him from her husband.

Trevor smiled. He placed Hannah on his lap while Evelyn held onto Andy.

"Are you okay?" Trevor asked.

"Yes, I'm fine," Evelyn said. "I was just caught off guard with what was Glenn today."

"I think we all were."

"My emotions just took over me, though. I would have told him to F-off instead of cry."

"I believe you would have too. You did a bit four years ago when we saw him in Boston."

"Being pregnant right now did not help the situation. Not that I am unhappy with being pregnant."

"I know you are extremely happy to be pregnant, baby! But know this, if the asshole comes anywhere near you or the kids, I am going to beat him within an inch of his life!"

Evelyn smiled.

There was a knock on the locker room door.

"Come in," Trevor shouted.

Evelyn and Trevor both looked as the door opened. In walked Colby and Mercedes. Mercedes had stopped crying.

"Look who's here, Andy," Evelyn said. "Grandma and Grandpa!"

"Yeah, look, Hannah," Trevor said.

Andy and Hannah got very excited at the sight of their grandparents. Mercedes smiled brightly as she walked over to them. Colby followed.

"Hi cuties," Mercedes said.

Evelyn and Trevor placed the twins on the ground. The two went over to their grandmother. Mercedes bent down. She scooped them up one by one into her arms.

"Oh, you two," Mercedes said, carefully standing up with them. "You make everything better!"

Evelyn made eye contact with her mom. Evelyn could tell her mom had been crying.

"Is everything okay?" Evelyn asked, knowing full well it wasn't if her mom had been crying.

"It is now!" Mercedes exclaimed.

Evelyn nodded.

"Here, come sit, Mom," Trevor said, standing up.

"Thank you," Mercedes said. She sat down on the sofa next to her daughter, still holding onto her grandchildren.

"No problem," Trevor replied. He walked a few feet away and grabbed a folding chair. He brought it over to sit near his wife and mother-in-law. Colby had grabbed a nearby folding chair as well and sat down himself.

"Look, Evie," Mercedes said, looking at her daughter.

"Yes?" Evelyn asked.

"I am sorry about earlier today. About Glenn."

"Why are you sorry, Mom? It's not your fault he showed up. It isn't anyone's fault in this room! We had no idea he was going to show up."

"Yes, but I never, ever wanted you to cry the way you did, because of him. I never, ever hoped you'd see him. I never, ever wanted him to come near you!"

"I know, Mom. But he never came near me when I was a little girl…"

"…That's because the bastard was right where he belonged. In jail," Colby interrupted. "He especially shouldn't have come near you ever, because I gave the bastard what he wanted for signing his rights away to you: money!"

Evelyn nodded her head. She and her siblings knew everything with what happened all those years ago.

"Yes, well, a higher power decided to be a jackass and have that bastard run into all of us that day in Boston and then today," Trevor said.

"All this happened with me as an adult," Evelyn said. "I was fine that day we ran into him in Boston. But today my emotions overtook me. I didn't like what he was saying to mom to make her so upset."

"I understand it, Evie," Mercedes said. "You're nearly twenty-three weeks pregnant. Your hormones are crazy and all that. I know you would have gotten up and punched him in the face if need be for upsetting me."

"Which was what I wanted to do!" Colby exclaimed.

"Likewise," Trevor said.

"Yes, well," Evelyn said, looking at Colby. "Despite, what Glenn thinks, I did have my father there to walk me down the aisle when I married my husband and to be there when I had his grandchildren. He's been there for everything important in my life!"

Colby smiled at his daughter. "That's right, you're my daughter! My name is on your birth certificate and you bore the last name Lopez until you changed it after you married this fine young man over here. And I raised you with your mom!"

"That you did. And I am the woman I am today, because of the both of you."

"You are a great woman, Evie," Mercedes said. "Your dad and I am very proud of you. You are a great sister, daughter, wife, and mother."

"Well, I learned to be a great wife and mother from you, Mom!" Evelyn said.

"And I am proud to be your mom, Evelyn! I will say this until my dying day, I still have no regrets for when it comes to you, sweetheart! Even if Glenn shows up. Or if I have flashbacks or relive my attack! For women who have chosen to abort pregnancies due to rape, they did what they had to do. Every case is different. But for me, I couldn't do that one. Yes, I had hoped for a miscarriage. But I was destined to be your mom."

Evelyn smiled. She quickly moved over on the sofa to her mom. She wrapped her arms around her, hugging her, squeezing her son in the process as Mercedes still had hold of both Andy and Hannah.

"I love you, Mom," She said.

"I love you too, Evie!" Mercedes replied.

"I'm going to tell you something right now," Colby said.

Evelyn stopped hugging her mom and looked at her dad. Mercedes looked at him as well.

"If Glenn tries to get near you two or my grandkids, I will hurt him! That is my promise! I'm not holding back again!"

"Same here!" Trevor exclaimed. "If he tries to come near my wife and kids, I will beat him within an inch of his life!"

Evelyn and Mercedes smiled at each other.
