Chapter 116
Three months later on July 26, 2042 at about three o'clock in the morning, Evelyn gave birth to her and Trevor's daughter, Sadie Camille Roberts. Sadie Camille which meant Princess Perfect. She was their perfect princess.
"All right, I'm going to go to the store," Trevor said as he walked into his and Evelyn's bedroom two days later on July 28.
"Okay," Evelyn said as she laid on the bed. She and Sadie had just been released from the hospital that day.
"You'll be okay by yourself?"
"Yes, I'll be fine. I can handle myself with that of Sadie. When are your parents bringing the twins home?"
"After their nap," Trevor replied. "They thought it was better to give them a nap at their place rather than with us, because they might not want to nap when they get here."
Trevor's parents had taken care of the twins while Evelyn had been in the hospital to have Sadie.
"That makes perfect sense," Evelyn said.
"And your parents were thinking about coming at that time too. They wanted to let us get settled in."
"Okay."
"But if you need me call me or text me. Or I'm sure if you did the same to your parents they'll be here too."
"I'll be just fine, Trevor. I'm just going to try and sleep maybe," Evelyn replied.
"All right," Trevor said. He walked over to her. He sat down on the bed and leaned in to kiss her. "Love you."
"Love you too."
Trevor gave her one more kiss. He got up from the bed and headed out of the room.
Evelyn slowly dosed off after her husband left. It was so nice to be in the comfort of her own home and bed again. It was also nice to know that her baby girl was sound asleep in her own room. Plus, that her other two children would be brought home by her in-laws within a couple hours. She was ready to take on the world as a mother of three.
Evelyn was woken up by the doorbell. She groaned. She looked at the clock. It had only been ten minutes since Trevor left. She got up from the bed. She took the long trek down the stairs and to the front door. Evelyn didn't bother to see who was at the door. She just unlocked it and opened it.
Evelyn was in shock when she saw who stood outside her door.
"Hello sweetheart," Glenn Parsons said.
"How the hell do you know where I live?!" Evelyn said.
"That's no way to speak to your father who came to see his daughter and meet his new granddaughter, sweetheart. Your mother would be so ashamed."
"Not to you! And you're not my father! Now leave!"
Evelyn went to close the door, but Glenn stopped her.
"I know where you live, Evelyn! I made it my mission to know! I have made it my mission to know where my daughter is and my grandchildren!"
"Grandchildren?!"
"Yes, I know exactly where Hannah and Andy are! I know exactly where Trevor's parents live just as I know where you live! I was a tech expert before I went to jail twenty-four years ago. It was easy to decode everything and find your location through your posts on social media. Plus, your in-laws are listed on the internet. Michael and Renee Roberts…"
Glenn then listened Trevor's parents' address.
Evelyn stood their dumbfounded as he listed her in-laws address.
"You slamming the door on my face might send me over there to see them," Glenn said.
"What do you want from me?" Evelyn asked.
"I want to know you."
"Why?"
"You're my daughter, of course."
"Well, I don't want to know you! And you better stay away from me and my family! Because if you go anywhere near my children or me, I will kill you! The same with my husband and the man who is my father!"
"I'd like to see Colby do that! I know his blood has been boiling for years since I raped your mother. I know he wanted at me in that night club. However, his friends were holding him back. I know Ashley Fliehr wanted at me too. I bet she still does."
"So, you admit you raped my mother!" Evelyn exclaimed.
"Oh, your mother wanted it! Just as Abby and Denise wanted it too!"
Evelyn went to hit Glenn, but he quickly stopped her.
"No, no, Evelyn!" He exclaimed as he had hold of her arm. "Lying a hand on me will do you no good, honey. But you do have such fire in you as your mother does."
"You're sick!" Evelyn exclaimed, yanking her arm from his hold.
"Think of me whatever you want, Evelyn. I am your father! And do not give me that crap again as Colby as your father!"
"His name is on my birth certificate. And up until November of 2040 I bore the last name Lopez. His last name!"
"It doesn't matter what last name you have. I am still your birth father! A DNA test could prove that."
"It could prove it. But I am twenty-five years old, you can't fight over custody rights for me."
"I could for Andy and Hannah! I could fight for rights to see them as I am a grandparent of theirs by blood!"
"Why would you do that?!"
"Because I can! Or I could just take them!"
Evelyn went to speak. However, Sadie began to cry.
Glenn smiled.
"Well, you better go take care of your daughter. What is her name again, Sadie Camille? So beautiful. I'll see you around, my sweet girl."
Glenn walked away. Evelyn quickly closed the door and locked it again. She then went up-stairs to take care of Sadie. As she went to her newborn daughter, she began to cry.
