Chapter 124

A few weeks later, it was WWE Survivor Series. Mercedes and Colby decided to take Derek and Valerie to Survivor Series and Raw so they could see their siblings work. Survivor Series was just 4 days before Thanksgiving so the whole family would be together in just a few days anyway.

However, with Survivor Series that night, Nate was going to turn on Aaron. Trevor had his own match that night as he was Intercontinental Champion. He was facing off with the United Champion for SmackDown. Nate and Aaron were two of the five Superstars representing the Men's team for the classical men's Five-On-Five Elimination Match for Raw versus SmackDown. Katianna and Ashley were two of the women representing the five women for the Raw Women's Team for the Five-On-Five match.

It was on that very night that Nate Harris was going to turn on Arick Rollins. It was going to be during that match that Nate was going turn on Arick, beating him up and giving the SmackDown team the advantage for winning by pinning the Universal Champion. After the match, though, Nate was going to attack Arick again and then leave the champion lying in a heap in the middle of the ring.

"Do Derek and Valerie know Nate is turning on Aaron tonight?" Allison, Katianna's friend and fellow WWE Superstar asked as they were in the Women's locker room.

"Yes, they do," Katianna replied. "The two know all of that with Nate beating their brother up is just storyline. However, they still get a little upset when Aaron, Ashley, Trevor or I get beat up, even with knowing. Its mostly Valerie. She just doesn't like it when her brother, sister, and in-laws get beat up and aren't really defending themselves."

"Gotcha."

"Valerie's still going to get upset when it happens tonight. When she was little and we were watching when my dad turned on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in 2014, breaking up The Shield, she got upset. She didn't like Uncle Jon or Uncle Joe getting beat up, especially by her daddy."

"Oh, that is so cute."

"It was," Katianna replied.

"Is Mariah gonna be here tonight?" Allison asked.

"No, Mariah's got classes still even with Thanksgiving this week. Just tomorrow and Tuesday, though. She has classes that meet two times a week, some classes on Monday and Wednesday. Then Tuesdays and Thursdays for others. My little sister is a hard worker to be a nurse someday."

"Nothing wrong with that."

"Nope," Katianna said. "Evie could fall back on her degree if she decided to enter the work force. But she got pregnant with the twins while she was still in school. Then once they were born, they were her priority for a year and then she got pregnant with Sadie. So, it's been all about being a mom."

"Well," Allison said. "Her husband is a WWE Superstar; she could be a stay-at home mom for the rest of her life. It's a great income for them."

"True. But nobody in my family has ever been worried about money. My parents just wanted me and my siblings to be whatever we wanted to be in this world. They would help us get the education or whatever training we needed. Evie went to college. Aaron and I wanted to be WWE Superstars. Mariah's in college. It's seven more years before Valerie graduates high school and its six more years before Derek graduates high school. My parents just want to make sure those two make it through the rest of their schooling. Plus, have fun in any activities they want to be involved in."

"Having a supportive family is one of the most important things."

"Yes, I'm so glad I have my parents. But it is going to be fun with Nate turning on Arick and then me turning on Keagan and attacking my own brother."

"I love that we'll be in Des Moines, Iowa for Raw next week," Allison commented.

"I know," Katianna replied. "Its freaking perfect, because my mom is actually going to come to Raw next week and she's going to want to know answers as to why I turned my back on Keagan and Arick. My family. It works out too, because Thanksgiving is this week and I won't be with my family for Thanksgiving. I'll be with Nate's. My family will have tried to "contact" me all week, but I only talked to my dad and not my mom."

"You got this, Kati. You got this!"

"Yep."

Later that night, Mercedes and Colby sat in the crowd with Derek and Valerie for Survivor Series. Evelyn was watching Survivor Series from home with her in-laws and Mariah.

Keagan Balor and Katianna Rollins were the two remaining for the Women's Raw Team. Keagan was in the ring with the only remaining member of the SmackDown Women's Team. Keagan was getting demolished by her opinion.

"Come on, Keagan," Katianna shouted to her team member. She was getting very irritated by her. Keagan needed to make a tag to Katianna so Katianna could put this SmackDown Superstar down to pick up the win for the Raw Women's Team.

Keagan was in a hold and her opponent had it locked in tight. Katianna began clapping her hands. The crowd clapped along with her. And with that, Keagan hit her opponent, trying to break free from the hold. Keagan was free. She was able to hit her opponent a couple more times. She then quickly moved toward her corner. She tagged Katianna in.

"Go Kati!" Valerie screamed at the top of her lungs as her older sister climbed the top rope and jumped from the turnbuckle. Taking her opponent down.

The crowd cheered and screamed as Katianna did her thing in the ring. Katianna gave her an opponent a kick and then she went down. Katianna quickly covered her opponent and the referee counted to three. The referee called for the bell.

"Here is your winner, the Raw Women's Team!"

Katianna got to her feet smiling. The referee raised her arm in the air. Keagan came over to her. Katianna gave a her a hug. Keagan then walked over to the side of the ring. The fans cheered as she did. Katianna gave a bit of an irritated look as she looked at her sister-in-law.

Later in the night, TR Andrews as the Intercontinental Champion defeated the United States Champion, picking up yet another win for Raw.

The next match was the Raw Tag Team champions versus the SmackDown Tag Team champions. Who would pick up a win for Raw or SmackDown? However, TR was shown coming backstage. He had his title on his shoulder.

"Great match, TR," Arick Rollins said coming into view.

"Thanks," TR said, shaking hands with his brother-in-law.

And we're gonna get the final win for Raw tonight. Right, Nate?"

Nate Harris was shown next. "Yep," He said.

"All right, time to hit the showers," TR said.

"I'll walk with you," Arick said. "I'll see you before our match, Nate."

"Sure thing."

TR and Arick walked away. Nate was shown glaring as they did. Tonight, was the night he was ready to turn.

The SmackDown Tag Team Champions picked up the win for SmackDown. Raw and SmackDown were both tied. The Men's match would determine who was the better brand of the two.

The men's match was awesome. Every superstar fought hard. But Arick Rollins and Nate Harris were the remaining two for the Raw team, while there was only one man left for the SmackDown team.

Arick was getting his butt beat while Nate was on the outside in his corner. Arick needed to make a tag to Nate or he needed to put his opponent away.

"Come on, Arick," Nate shouted, urging his team mate to do anything.

Arick decided to make a tag. He headed toward his corner. Nate quickly jumped down from the apron.

"Wait minute," The commentator said.

Nate and Arick just looked at each other.

"What the hell?" Arick said.

Nate just looked at Arick.

Arick's opponent came up behind him and knocked him down. The opponent beat him up a little, delivered his finisher, pinning him.

"Here is your winner the SmackDown Men's Team," The announcer announced.

The referee raised the SmackDown Superstar's arm in the air. Nate got in the ring. The SmackDown Superstar went to defend himself when he saw Nate in the ring. However, Nate went after Arick, beating him up.

"What?!" The commentator said.

"Why is Nate beating up on Arick?!" Another commentator said.

The SmackDown Superstar laughed and left the ring. The referee yelled at Nate. Nate ignored him.

Nate threw Arick to the outside of the ring. Arick tried to defend himself when Nate got out of the ring and came after him. Nate quickly moved to where he could grab Arick. Nate threw Arick into the barricade.

TR Andrews came running out then. Nate told TR to come at him, which he did. TR threw a few punches, but Nate got him down. Nate then took his attention back to Arick. Arick tried to fight back at Nate. However, Nate got the best of him again. Nate went over and grabbed the Universal Title. Arick was on his feet again. This time Nate ran at him and nailed him with the Universal Championship belt. Referees finally came out to break everything up.

Nate smiled as he stepped away from Arick. He held the title up in the air. Everyone knew what he wanted. He wanted the Universal Championship.

"You okay, Valerie?" Mercedes asked.

"Yes, I am," Valerie said.

Mercedes smiled. "Even with Aaron getting beat up?"

"Yes."

"Good," Mercedes said. She kissed her daughter on the cheek.

Valerie smiled.

The next night…

Raw started out showing a video package from Survivor Series. It showed all the moments the Raw Superstars picked up the wins in their matches for their brand. However, it then showed Nate jumping down from the apron when Arick went to make a tag.

When the video package ended, the commentators introduced themselves and welcomed everyone to Raw. Things started out with Arick Rollins making his way to the ring. Both him and TR came out to the ring together. They both wanted answers since they had been a team with Nate since April.

Arick retold the story of what happened between him and Nate the night before. He called Nate out, wanting to know why for sure. But he knew. TR knew. Everyone knew.

Nate made his way out onto the ramp, a microphone in hand. He smiled.

"Arick. Arick. Arick Rollins, son of WWE Hall of Famers, Seth Rollins and Sasha Banks. A former NXT Champion, 2042 Royal Rumble winner, and the current Universal Champion. It's a great list of achievements," Nate said. "But its funny with that Universal Championship title you have, Arick. That championship title, you didn't win on your own."

The camera showed Arick in the ring with TR. But it was focused on Arick.

"Yes, yes, Arick, let's remember how you won that Universal Championship in the first place," Nate continued. He continued to the Titantron.

Footage from WrestleMania earlier that year was shown. It showed Arick down in the ring with his opponent and current Universal Champion, Cole Troy. It showed when The Shield's music hit and TR slowly made his way out onto the ramp.

"Come on," Cole said, telling TR Andrews to come into the ring.

TR smirked. He quickly walked down to the ring. He then jumped into the ring. He and Cole went at it. The two fought each other. However, someone came out of nowhere and nailed Cole with a chair.

"Who is this now?"

"It's Nate Harris!"

The crowd cheered.

Cole was down. Arick was on his feet. TR and Nate both stood next to him. Arick looked at both of them. He pointed to the table. The three nodded. Nate grabbed onto the table and moved it into position. TR grabbed Cole.

"Are they going to do what I think they're going to do?" Mariah asked.

"They sure are," Colby smiled.

"Come on," Arick said.

All three Superstars grabbed hold of Cole and lifted him up. They threw him through the table, delivering a Triple Powerbomb.

The crowd was going wild.

"Triple Powerbomb!"

Arick, TR and Nate all exchanged smiles. TR and Nate pointed to Cole, telling Arick to pin him. The referee had been watching this the whole time. The match was no DQ so everything was legal with TR Andrews and Nate Harris having come out to the ring.

Arick smiled. He pinned Cole, being in the table and all. The referee counted.

"1…2…3." He called for the bell.

"Here is your winner and the new Universal Champion, Arick Rollins!"

Arick got to his feet and his music played. He celebrated with his brother-in-law and Nate. The referee handed him the title. He held it in the air. He looked at Nate and TR. He nodded his head. He held out his fist. TR and Nate held out theirs, showing the symbol of excellence.

The Shield's music played.

A camera showed Arick and TR in the ring. It then went back to Nate.

"Yes, yes, it was TR Andrews and I who helped you win that title, Arick! It was all three of us forming a new Shield. By TR and me joining you we formed a new Shield. The Original Shield having been your father, Seth Rollins with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.

"You did not win that title on your own, Arick! It was me and TR that helped you. Or more so it was just me who helped you win that title!"

"How was it just you who helped him the title, Nate?!" TR snapped.

"I was the one who knocked Troy from behind with a chair," Nate said. "Without me specifically to hit Troy with that chair Arick wouldn't have gotten that beat. In all honestly, without me you wouldn't have the Intercontinental Champion as well, TR. Without me none of you would a champion."

Nate laughed.

"That's so funny. You could say I was the Powerhouse of this Shield when back in the day Roman Reigns was the Powerhouse of his Shield with Seth and Dean. So, I was actually something of The Shield when you two were and are worthless."

"You better watch what you say about us," TR said.

"Oh, are you going to come kick my ass, TR?" Nate laughed.

"Laugh all you want, Nate," Arick said. "But there have been quite a few times where you needed TR and me to help your ass out too!"

Nate shrugged. "I cannot tell a lie! That's true, Arick."

"But let's also see, TR and I are the ones with gold!" Arick held his championship up and pointed to TR belt on his shoulder.

TR smiled. He held it up.

Nate smiled. "Yes, yes, you have the gold. But who says for how long? How long with either of you hold onto to any of those titles? Hey, without me not backing the two of you up, the next person who wants at either of you can take those titles away from you! In fact, I want that title that you have, Arick! I want the Universal Championship!"

"You want this?!" Arick asked, holding up his title belt.

"Yes!"

"Well, guess what I will defend this championship against you tonight!"

The crowd cheered.

"I accept!" Nate exclaimed.

Arick smiled. "Good. But while you claim you can beat my ass; remember you and I have a connection more so than having been in The Shield together!"

"And what connection is that?"

"My sister, Katianna!"

Nate nodded his head.

"Yeah, my sister, your girlfriend!"

Nate nodded his head again. "Yes, your sister is my girlfriend. What does that have to do with anything, though? I know for a fact Katianna feels the same way I do. Or more so she has her own feelings in some way."

Arick just looked at Nate.

"Enjoy your last hours as Universal Champion tonight, Arick, because at the end of the night that title will be mine and I'll be celebrating my win with your sister!"

Nate dropped his microphone.

Arick glared at Nate. He looked over TR. TR looked back at him.

Raw went to commercial.

Twenty minutes later after the commercial break and a matchup in the ring, Katianna was shown backstage. The crowd cheered seeing her.

"Katianna," Someone said.

Katianna looked at the sound of her name. She looked to see Keagan.

"Keagan," Katianna said.

"What are you thinking?" Keagan asked. "What are thinking with your boyfriend with your brother who happens to be my husband and then TR who happens to be our brother-in-law married to your sister?"

"I don't know what I'm thinking, Keagan! I didn't see my boyfriend after Survivor Series last night! And I have been avoiding you, Arick, and TR all day because of it. I haven't even spoken to my own sister or parents because of everything! I was on my own all of last night and today until I got here! But quite frankly, I really do not want to talk to you! And for various reasons!"

"What reasons?" Keagan asked.

"Not now!"

Katianna walked away.

Raw went to commercial again. The segment coming back from break showed the current tag team champions in the ring. This segment talked about Survivor Series the night before and all that tag teams. All the tag teams of Raw all came out and challenged the current tag team champions. It was announced there would be a tag team tournament to determine the number one contenders for the Raw Tag Team Titles. One of the matches took place right then.

After that match Raw went to commercial and came back. Katianna was shown backstage again.

"Kati," Arick said.

"What?" Katianna asked.

"We need to talk."

"I know what's happening here, Arick, okay! I don't need to talk to you or Keagan about it!"

Katianna walked away from her brother.

Another match and commercial break.

Katianna was again backstage. "Finally," She said.

The camera turned to show Nate.

"Well, there's my beautiful girl," Nate said.

"Don't sweet talk me, Nate!" Katianna exclaimed. "What is going on with you? That's my brother!"

"Yes, that's your brother, babe. But have known my frustrations for weeks."

"Yes, but you did not have to attack him last night. And you did not have to leave me hanging last night and all day today! Plus, you could have just talked to Arick about the way you have felt!"

"I'm sorry to have left you hanging last night, babe. But I am not sorry for attacking your brother and I am not sorry for what I might do tonight. Plus, I am not the only one who has been frustrated about things as of late with my team members. It was shown on your face last night with Keagan during and after your match."

Katianna looked down not denying anything.

"Yeah, don't deny that, Katianna! You have expressed your frustrations to me too. And I know you are in a tough position right now. But figure out your thoughts and I won't hate you for any decisions you make."

Nate gave his girlfriend a quick kiss on the cheek. He walked away. Katianna watched as he did and she bit her. She didn't know what to do.

A little bit later that night, it was main event time. Nate made his way to the ring first. He had a huge grin on his face. Arick made his entrance next. TR did not accompany him. TR had had his own dealings that night with someone who had wanted his IC title. TR had been taken out by that someone. That was going to be his next opponent for the IC title.

Arick had his eyes on Nate. He did not know what was going to happen in this match. He did not know what was going on with his sister. But he knew something was going on with her.

Nate continued to grin as Arick got into the ring. He was going to get that Universal Championship.

When the match got under way, Arick and Nate went at it. Katianna was shown backstage watching. She had a worried look on her face.

Arick and Nate ended up destroying each other. (Best friends in real life always had the best matches.)

But it got to a point where Nate was completely destroying Arick. Arick got busted open too. (On accident! Aaron and Nate just worked with it.) This gave Nate the advantage in the match, though. Arick fought the best he could with it. But he lost blood from his head. Nate ended up picking up the win, because Arick couldn't fight.

Nate laughed as the referee handed him the Universal Championship belt. He stood up and held the title up. The referee checked on Arick. The doctor and a few others came to the ring. Keagan came to the ring too. She wanted to make sure her husband was okay.

Nate saw Keagan. He smiled. He wasn't done with Arick. He dropped the Universal Title and went back after Arick. WWE officials yelled at him. Nate pulled Arick into the middle of the ring and beat him up. He left Arick lying in the middle of the ring. He went to grab a chair.

Katianna came running to the ring. Nate and her both got in the ring at the same time.

"Wait!" Katianna exclaimed.

Nate held the chair in his hands. Nate moved back from Arick. He threw the chair down. He grabbed the title and climbed out of the ring. He looked at Katianna as he did, though. Katianna looked back at him. Keagan was checking on Arick as the doctor was too. Katianna looked at Keagan. That was when Katianna quickly grabbed the chair and hit Keagan.

"What the hell?!" The commentator said.

Keagan cried out. The doctor and officials yelled at Katianna.

"Out of my way!" Katianna yelled at them. They quickly did as she swung the chair and hit Keagan again. Keagan cried out.

Katianna threw the chair down. She grabbed onto Keagan. She then did the Figure 8, a tribute to Charlotte Flair. Keagan cried out. The officials yelled at her. The doctor was busy with Arick. But the officials were trying to get Katianna to leave Keagan alone. Keagan tapped out as Katianna continued the hold on her. She finally broke it. She got up from the mat. She looked at Keagan. Keagan looked at her with sad eyes.

Katianna smiled. She left the ring. Nate stood on the ramp. Katianna walked right up to him. She smiled at him. Nate smiled back. She went right up to him and kissed him. She then raised Nate's arm in the air, pointing at him. He raised the title in the air with his other arm.
